2441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: April 22, 2021, 02:07:31 PM
....
We currently have well over 100,000 CLAMS for sale on the books and it's growing daily.

100,000 clams should give a nice staking profit, do you have them stacking? and is there a plan to share the staking profit with the users?

It would be nice if you can make a staking pool as a service, that way the users who are waiting to sell their clams could make money while it happens, and without the risk of losing them. I know right now users can depo to JD for stacking, but in the end, the users are covering the house bankroll, so, If a user wins some crazy bets, the stackers could lose a piece of his cake.
2442  Economy / Services / Re: I offer 300 € in Bitcoin on: April 21, 2021, 07:25:37 PM
This sounds like a carding scam... OP gives you $20 in BTC, you send back those $20 on a credit card online purchase and someone steals the card data. That way OP can drain your card while he recovers the money.

There are no more reasons for someone to offer $300 for a $20 transaction. I hope no one falls into this trap.
2443  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: GUIA DECLARACION RENTA on: April 21, 2021, 06:20:48 PM

2444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone just bought 8000+ bitcoin on Coinbase on: April 21, 2021, 06:10:12 PM
Someone just bought 8000+ bitcoin on coinbase https://ibb.co/pb3Yt9T

The volume traded in the past 24h is 1,029,561 BTC, so, that 8,000 BTC doesn't represent the 1%. It looks like a big transaction but it isn't at all.

For sure a transaction like that will change the price a bit, but isn't something to worry about, if we follow the whale alert on Twitter we will see transactions like that all days. For an example, 2 hours ago someone sends 3000BTC https://twitter.com/whale_alert/status/1384898935337148426
2445  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: 2+ days and still unconfirmed.. can anyone help on: April 21, 2021, 04:13:10 PM
My transaction is pending since april 19. I sent it with blockchain wallet with normal fees I dont understand why its hanging so much..

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/6d7de85010b73512b7fc2ac49ad8b549f3cfe670be75cdf0fafc96877a2442df

Please help guys..

Right now we have 197,000 unconfirmed transactions as you can see in the mempool https://mempool.space/es/ If some of those transactions have a bigger fee than yours, then you have to wait until all of them gets confirmed.

The past week I had the same problem mate, my transaction takes 4 days, and the way I fix it was with my Electrum wallet, with that wallet you have the RBF (Replace by fee) option, if you add more fees it will confirm faster.
2446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 21, 2021, 04:05:39 PM
Any chance of XMR to catch up with ETH (in terms of price) this year? ETH have the smart contracts, but XMR have the privacy. It should be on top 10.
...

XMR is right now in position 22 in coinmarket cap, and it will be kind of hard to see in in the top 10 because its application is more complex than other altcoins.

The complexity of the monero core brings anonymity to the users but at the same time is hard to develop APPs with monero. Isn't like the other coins where you can make easy RPC calls to create sign and push the transactions. The point is, if we have developed something with Bitcoin RPC we can rise that knowledge to build something with LTC or DOGE, but not with monero.

And the anonymous fact is cool, but do people really want to hide their identity? Only the bad guys need that.
2447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem is that it could take again many years to recover on: April 20, 2021, 06:48:19 PM
I agree with OP, Now bitcoin has been pure love this year, but when the crash comes it could take some years to recover, and as an example, we have the first time when it hit $20, then it drops down to $8k and takes some years to come back, and those years means to have the stoped money all that time to wait for the right time to recover and not to profit.

1 million is a very high price, in my opinion this is not impossible for bitcoin because bitcoin has a fantastic value, so to reach that high price of course it will take a very long time and on the other hand everyone must have at least 1% bitcoin to hold.

1 million is impossible if we see it from the market capitalization view... I feel like there is not enough money to send Bitcoin to 1 million. Right now bitcoin has almost the same market capitalization as Microsoft. So if we see bitcoin as a company, it would be in the top 10, so, already is on the moon and $1 million is only a dream.
2448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin last till infinity on: April 20, 2021, 06:27:31 PM
I don't think govs will start a war against bitcoin, there is a lot of money involved and the governments who decide to block or ban Bitcoin will lose an awesome business opportunity. We know China is holding tons of BTC and at least they will not ban it. and that's why I think bitcoin will not be blocked by govs.

But as a reminder, nothing lasts forever, sha256 will be brute-forced in the future, and that will make the coins migrate to a new encryption system with more complexity, which will be some kind of evolution for bitcoin. But it will survive to that.
2449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $1?$10?$100?What will the price of $Doge be? on: April 20, 2021, 06:22:51 PM
This is a hard question... I never expect to see dogecoin in more than $0.1 and see it now at $0.3 is just amazing.

But to be honest, I think is hard to see it over $1 and that's because there are tons of doges, if we take a look to the total circulating supply we will realize the number is just soo big... 129,265,966,024 DOGE on the current circulating supply. so, that means it can't go really up.
2450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: unconfirmed BTC transaction... on: April 19, 2021, 09:55:39 PM
Hello everyone

I am new in this area and i would like to know i have withdrew my BTC from wallet to my other wallet and now its over 12 hrs and its still not confirmed

is it normal ? or anything i can do to speed it up ? i appreciate your help

I'm in the same boat my friend, already 4 days waiting for a confirmation and it sucks hard.

As we can see the mempool is full and right now we have 190,000 unconfirmed transactions: https://mempool.space/

Today in the Spanish section of the forum a user show me how to use the replace by fee function on Electrum, just do right-click on the transaction and add more fees, that's one solution if you have this option in your wallet. So, I hope it works for you.
2451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: April 19, 2021, 09:45:01 PM
Bitcoin isn't clean money at all, when you want to convert them into cash there is always a trace to follow.

Bitcoin and cryptos by themselves can be anonymous with technology like the coin mixers or Anon coins like Monero where the transactions are impossible to trace by its blockchain, but in the end, you will want to convert that money to cash, and there is where de anonymity disappears.
2452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: April 19, 2021, 07:07:09 PM
...
Exchanges and trading volume. Not many people know that CLAM has another exchange (freebitcoins.com). If they search with Coinmarketcap or coingecko, they will only get link to Yobit exchange. Yobit has bad reputation. Coingecko lists Freiexchange.com but no volume.

Coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/clams/markets/
Coingecko: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/clams#markets

Cryptocurrency can not rise and get hype without trading volume. I can not find an exchange to accumulate CLAM.

True, since clam get unlisted from poloniex the drop starts, as you say, there are no popular exchanges to trade clams, Yobit sucks hard, and the right place to buy them isn't that popular. We need a huge campaign to promote clams and to promote https://freebitcoins.com/, That's the right way to bring clams back to life.

As technology clam is much better than doge, there is no reason for it to be this low... For sure a whale will come and fix this prize soon.

2454  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling down. Is it the end for it? on: April 18, 2021, 07:35:39 PM
The drop was imminent, it was about time for it to happen. And I wouldn't say this was the true drop, it's possible to see it going down to $30k or more. So, let's keep an eye on it because crazy times could come.

As I always say... What we know it bitcoin will move, up or down, but it will move, what really would be weird is to see it stuck on a price.
2455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: April 18, 2021, 06:20:31 PM
https://freebitcoins.com/blog/1-dogecoin-is-now-worth-more-than-1-clamcoin/

Dogecoin value has absolutely surged this year causing some prices that on par with what we expected in 2014. Dogecoin will hit $1, but what is shocking to us is that Clamcoin is currently cheaper than Dogecoin!!!!

Dogecoin is currently worth more than our favorited Clamcoin. One DOGE currently trades for 1.10 CLAM.

There are currently 4,671,484 CLAM in circulation compared to 129,210,000,000 DOGE in circulation… This is easily the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen in my investment history.

Either CLAM is extremely undervalued or DOGE is extremely overvalued or perhaps a bit of both!

Come trade some CLAM or DOGE with FreeBitcoins.com.

Clamcoin FreeBitcoins market- https://freebitcoins.com/xchange/market/Bitcoin-Clamcoin

Dogecoin FreeBitcoins market- https://freebitcoins.com/xchange/market/Bitcoin-Dogecoin

We also have a faucet that gives free coins to use our exchange for free- https://freebitcoins.com/faucet/

How crazy can the cryptos world be? we don't know yet, it still full of surprises for us, but I never expect to see 1 doge > 1 clam, is just crazy shit.

All the alts has be bumping in the past months and clam still going down, that's sad. Hope it has a nice bump agan and see it some day at 0.013btc like it used to be in the old times.

2457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the network plan in case of a 51% attack? on: April 17, 2021, 04:58:17 PM
The 51% attack is something critical for the network, as we see in the ETC blockchain someone can buy tons of coins on an exchange, withdraw and after that deposit on the exchange to buy another alt after he withdraws the second coin he can make a 51% attack and change the blocks where he deposited on the exchange, and change that transaction to another one who redirects the coins to his wallet.

The only way to undo this action is a hardfork like the one we see with DAO hack, which is the only action to do and more than 51% of the network should be agreed with the move to make it possible.

2459  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: python-hd-wallet-scanner - scan for HD Wallet master private key and addresses on: April 16, 2021, 04:37:37 PM
Nice script but to be honest this would work only on a supercomputer because what you are searching is for 100000 addresses where the total of possible addresses is 2^160...

Is like trying to brute force a sha, it could take you lots of years, and without luck, it will be impossible.

The only problem with this kind of script is what happens if the Chinese decide to run it with the Jiuzhang... They have a real chance to find an address with balance with that quantum computer... as a reference I will leave the link.
