2821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and taxes buying goods and items with btc tax free on: October 07, 2020, 10:30:49 PM
so how about taxes you have to pay from btc ?

and is buying goods and items with btc is to way to cash out your crypto tax free?

Taxes are different for each country, i could explain how it works for my country but maybe is a different way in yours... now i'm in México and when we make a depo to the exchange  then we got a ticket where the exchange charge 16% for taxes, after that if we made a withdraw from the exchange to our wallet, we should only report the income we get, i know is a little complex to understand that's why i will go for an example:

If you make a depo of $1,000 to the exchange, then buy bitcoin, then the price goes up and then you withdraw $1,100... In that scenario, you have to report the $100 income, and pay taxes over that amount. Not over the full withdraw. That's how it works at least in my country.

I have been playing in this site in the past weeks but i don't have much luck, on my last run get busted with AQ vs AK... I want to try their tournaments but need some free time for it, i will try to join them this weekend.

I see some cash tables has a jackpot amount on the top, does anyone know how to win that jackpot?

When games get going it can be pretty action packed. Tournaments can actually be quite soft. The bad eat is aces over kings getting beat or better I think.

So, if i go with KK and someone else goes with AA and i win i get the jackpot? or i acomulate points for it? It would be nice to have more info about it, i had try to search on the site and couldn't find info, and i'm not allowed to ask in the chat because i have not much krill. So, it would be nice if you explain me the right way to win the prize in the jackpot. Thanks.
2823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 07, 2020, 02:27:34 PM
Bitcoin and cryptos are about patience... People say that we have to hold 5 years to see our money having a turbo bump, but not anyone has the patience to hold that long. Some of them think that they will become rich in a couple of months just by buying bitcoin and that's possible but they need a lot of luck with it. That's why we need to promote the Holding culture!

2824  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dogs or Cats? (Highly off-topic) on: October 07, 2020, 02:23:57 PM
I like more the cats, they act smarter than dogs... But they are not as loyal as the dogs are. I feel like it depends for what you want them, if you want a pet to feel more secure then a trained dog is the solution but if you want a pet just to feed them and give some love then the cats are the option.

2826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 07, 2020, 02:13:39 PM
Questions:
1. As a gambler, how do you gauge the legitimacy of a Curacao registered online casino or in other jurisdiction with zero or little regulation?
2. Is it enough that they offer provably fair games?
3. If it's an "old" casino, you can check their reputation and reviews from players but what if it's new?

Let me answer those 3 for you...

1.-Curacao is a place where gambling is legit and regulated, we could say they have the best regulations for the business, and maybe is a small place but with clear laws.

2.- Provably fair is a must, with or without a license they must be fair, because if users can't verify the bets then the site is rigged, simple as that.

3.- If the casino is new, then we review their gambling license and their provably fair system.
2827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN basher, the Liar 'John McAfee' is finally Arrested on: October 07, 2020, 02:08:18 PM
I think this is rather a bad sign for the crypto industry, because after it, anyone from the crypto sphere can be arrested

You have a good point here, John McAfee has been done in the past a lot of adversitement to bitcoin and criptos, some news was good and another was bad, but at least he was talking about them. And now whit this news people will lose some trust in Bitcoin and they will think they are doing something illegal. At this point is urgent to have a global regulation to let people know what they can do and what they cant.

2830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: October 07, 2020, 01:32:27 AM
Telegram itself is not trash, there might be a ton of crap Telegram groups, but that does not mean that Telegram is trash. Would be like saying Facebook or Twitter is trash just because there are a lot of trash groups on those that isn't worth following, that's just silly in my opinion.

The tons of crap groups made it trash... Some people see it as a good opportunity to make business, but that social network is now full of scammers and shit coins. Tons of scammers getting on groups to attack their users. I feel isn't a social network that worth to be on.
2831  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT ★★★ The legend is back! ★★★ Bigger and better than ever! ★★★ on: October 07, 2020, 01:26:28 AM
...
I'm not active lately on Luckybit but about a month ago I did a fair bit of betting on Plinko and just like you I haven't had any success on those colors, on green light mostly I would get 1x and 0.4x multiplier with a small number of 1.1x-1.2x-1.4, even though I had some short-term hits there as well but it wouldn't last that much, on blue I would get a better result over all and that's why I stick to the blue ones for the most of my betting experience on there.

And that's why the site has the blue line, for all those who feel like the bets always hit the middle spots. I have seen some people in the past making big profit placing always all-in bets on blue, some nice runs reach close to 30 bets without a loss on that line. But as always, is about luck.
2832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another record, this is the 79th day on 2020 in which BTC has opened above 10k. on: October 07, 2020, 01:20:53 AM
It has jumped above 10k but we all want to see it hitting $20k again, and i don't see that happening this year. I think the halving was the chance to see that big bump on the prize but didn't happen. So maybe the end of the year has a nice surprise for us. Let's keep watching that bitcoin value.
2833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Earning $78 A DAY?! Staking Cryptocurrency | Passive Income W/ NRG, Earn, Mining on: October 06, 2020, 11:53:08 PM
The best staking coin i know pays 0.025% daily, so to stack $78 on a day you need more than $150k invested in that coin.
What staking coin is this? that's too much for that daily profit. That's not worth it of the amount of money you've invested for that coin.
...

I was talking about clam coin,  some years ago it used to give 0.1% each day, but now, since there are 4 million coins then the stacking gives 0.025%. The coin has 1 block each minute and each block pays one clam.

The coin is not very common nowadays but you can buy and sell it easily.
2834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking System a Scam...!!! on: October 06, 2020, 07:54:16 PM
That statement is totally true... When we ask to a loan or a credit to the bank they charge us close to 80% of interest, but when we decide to save our money on the bank then they offer close to 3% annually. So, if they hold our money we get 3% while if we hold their money we have to pay 80%.

And think about what happens to the unclaimed money when someone dies... the banks keep tons of money from people who die day by day. And no one tells then anything. That's why i believe they are scammers too.
2835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin so unstable? on: October 06, 2020, 05:45:48 PM
If we compare bitcoin with gold, we will see an enormous difference in the market capitalization. That's why gold is much more stable than bitcoin. Because to move the market is really hard, we need a big amount of money to move the markets on gold, but with a 'small amount' you can move the bitcoin market.
2836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN basher, the Liar 'John McAfee' is finally Arrested on: October 06, 2020, 04:59:08 PM
The whale was doing some market manipulation... That was a big mistake, all those tweets with his prediction made some damage to the markets. And is crazy to see a guy who made milling with his tokes hitting jail, some projects should be scared now.

I feel like he has enough money to avoid jail, but let's see what happens.
2837  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I know if I'm not posting the same old content ? on: October 05, 2020, 05:07:51 PM
Is nice to see newbies worried about this topic because we have tons of repeated threads, and most of them are about Who is satoshi?... Is important to do research about the information you want to talk about before starting a thread.

One option is to search with the forum tool, and another one is to make a filtered search on google.

Code:
site:bitcointalk.org who is satoshi
2838  Other / Off-topic / Re: Nikola Tesla - One & Only on: October 05, 2020, 04:40:08 PM
In that esenario the cables would be obsolet, all the electric things would be powered by the electric power in the atmosfere caused by masive tesla coils.

Just like the new phones charged by induction... but imagine having all the electric things that way.

2840  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best USA based Crypto Sportsbook? on: October 05, 2020, 03:11:33 PM
...
Any recommendations for a USA based (or USA accepted) sportsbook?

USA has a problem with gambling, and more with crypto gambling online. Their laws don't allow that kind of use for cryptos. So, I think your best option is to get a VPN and join any site with an IP from another country. That way it would be legal for you to place bets and to be able to withdraw.
