This is already very likely to happen you know. Mbappe will join Real Madrid sooner or later. Every day the news are writing about Real Madrid to be close for his deal. Florentino Perez actually said that it wouldn't happen this summer but we can be sure that they will get him. When Mbappe joins there will be no need for Haaland at the same time. These players are both superstars now and I have big doubts when it comes to playing coherent with each other in the same team.

On the other hand we haven't even seen them as a regular in top 4 in a long while. I mean the last time they finished in top 4 was in the 2015/16 season. Therefore I call it as success for Arsenal about what he did this season.

When it comes to becoming champions in the Premier League they still need to make some changes in the team to make it happen. Changes like bringing some experienced older players. Because there are only 2 active players who are 30+ years old in the squad now.

Because he is a really talented striker. He is quite young as well which is another factor that looks attracting to EPL teams. His last season performance shouldn't be misleading. Maybe he scored only 10 goals in 27 Serie A matches but the reason was different for that. It was more like a problem going on between him and Allegri.

I mean Allegri's sytem is different than the one Fiorentina had. Vlahovic was able to get many more balls while he was playing for Fiorentina. But this changed when he started to play in Allegri's management. But he can still bring back his most effective performance by joining the right team for himself. EPL teams could be a nice choice for him.

When we make a comparison between Akpom and Openda I would favour Openda absolutely. Because Akpom is a Championship player. I know that he scored 28 goals this season which is really impressive. But he has never been a high level player in his career. He couldn't find a proper chance in the Premier League in the past as well.

In my opinion Akpom signing would be quite risky for Lens because of that. Maybe he can have difficulties in adapting to the Ligue 1 and doesn't show a high level performance there. But as for Openda he definitely deserves to play for Leipzig. He scored 21 goals in the Ligue 1 this season. He has proven that he can be very useful in big European leagues.

I think we should evaluate his success rate thinking of what kind of a team he has been managing so far. Arsenal aren't close to Manchester City's level in squad quality as you know. Arsenal are a very young team and they like to invest into promising players continually. In this case it is quite difficult for them to be competitive for the EPL title every season.

But they still did a great job this season. They led the standings for a long time and became competitive for the title. They just couldn't make it to the finish like that due to lack of experience in the team. However this is still a significant improvement thanks to Arteta.

Inter shouldn't do this I think. I mean there is no strong reason for them to bring back Lukaku to the team now. He is just detrimental to the team as his performance is really bad these days. He is even one of the reasons why they couldn't extend the final match in the Champions League to extra time.

We don't have the same old Lukaku anymore and it doesn't look likely that we will have in the future either. Lukaku is really interesting recently as well. I mean his performance at his national team is really superb. But I can't say the same thing when it comes to his performance at Inter. I believe Inter should be ready to pay a little more money to sign a better player.

This is Arsenal's most recent history in the Champions League. It is really interesting that they were a part of the tournament eight seasons in a row in these years. They were doing quite well too. But since the 2016/2017 season we haven't seen Arsenal joining the tournament even for once.

This is a significant downgrade for them of course. But finally after all these years they had a wonderful season with Arteta and played even for the EPL championship. Maybe they couldn't become the champions but got a ticket for the Champions League by finishing in 2nd place.

Atletico Madrid have made the Griezmann signing permanent by paying 20 million euros. I think the fee is quite favourable when we think of his age as well. His contribution to the team in this season of the La Liga was really mesmerizing - 15 goals, 17 assists in 38 matches. He is a really beneficial experienced player so I think they have done the right thing.

There is a really interesting situation at Atletico Madrid now after the returnees. There are 2 second strikers and 3 centre-forwards in the squad now. Because Felix and Cunha have returned to the team this summer. First I thought that Simeone didn't have plans for Felix in his game plan anymore. But after that they decided to not loan him to Chelsea again.

Morata's contribution was with 13 goals this season. It can be counted as decent when we think Simeone uses a formation with 2 centre-forwards mostly. But I still hope to see a nice rivalry between Morata and Felix.  

Marseille are entering a new period with Marcelino's arrival. We will see if he can improve Tudor's record which was to finish in the 3rd place.

In my opinion, the thing Marseille need the most now is a centre-forward transfer. Because Alexis Sanchez has been released. Milik has also been signed permanently by Juventus. Luis Suarez has also joined Almeria right after his loan spell ended. There is only Vitinha left as a centre-forward mainly. But interestingly the only rumour I see about Marseille is Wilfried Zaha. However the departures have happened new so in a short time they should be getting serious about a centre-forward transfer.

The Saudi League is more like a show league. They don't seem like they aim to increase the quality of the league much more by starting to grow big names from their youth setup. The only thing they aim is to maintain this show by bringing mostly old stars to make supporters happy. They have oil money and they can easily make way better offers than a European team. This is all about the Saudi League.

Manchester City are preparing to improve their last bid for Gvardiol which was 75 million euros and some bonuses as well. Leipzig insist on demanding at least 100 million euros. I don't expect Manchester City to give up on this transfer because Guardiola wants to see him in his team so much.

I totally agree with you on this. The reason why they haven't been doing well in the Champions League is completely the owners' fault. They have changed their manager so many times so far but they still couldn't find the right one. Instead of making this many changes they should have just brought one of the best managers and been patient about him.

Ancelotti was brought here in 2012 but stayed only for one season. He joined Real Madrid after that. I think PSG should have done their best to keep Ancelotti back then. Because looking at their history of managers he has been the best manager choice in last 10 years. I think they could have already been champions with him in the Champions League.
