I think it also has to do with the coach's ability to manage big-name signings. I don't think a coach with a good tactical ability is enough to manage a club like Bayern, unless they change their recruitment strategy and focus on young players like Dortmund, which is unlikely to happen. I don't know how the communication happened before they signed a new coach, but something is clearly wrong if more than two or even three good managers "fails" at Bayern. Not many managers last longer than two seasons iirc[1]. The manager's personality aside, the club should've done better to at least prevent the same thing from happening again. I would not be surprised if Xabi or other promising managers feel the job is too troublesome for them. But hey, who knows what is happening behind the scenes, maybe the pay grade is just too good to pass up.

Where is this audience data coming from? From what they posted on their website, they claim there is a YoY growth[1]. Even if that were true, are there data that suggest it is no longer profitable for Dorna? I'm pretty sure their income doesn't come only from tickets or global viewership, merc sales or promotion deals are there too. Even if they want to sell it, I don't see it happening if the government blocks them again due to fear of monopoly.

I'm not sure about being not exciting anymore, sometimes it feels like people talk from their tinted glasses and focus too much on nostalgia when Rossi still races. It is still enjoyable for me even though I don't root for anyone. I guess that's the plus side if you don't have any expectations and just want to watch some race on the weekend.

I've been lurking around their subreddit and others' social media, it seems that some of them still want Moyes out for some regeneration and change. Not sure what the sentiment is on the local supporters though, but if they got another winless run things could get ugly quickly I bet. Chelsea indeed got a bit unlucky at times since their goalscorer missed big chances or made some stupid decisions, but you can't blame luck if your opponent made 9 saves to prevent you put the ball in the net. You could even say the same about Liverpool since they hit the goalpost twice iirc, and Elliot nearly won them in the ET too since the ball is just millimeters from passing the goal line.

I mean, who the hell assumes Liverpool will win the trophy, considering how many injuries they have now? If anything, I feel like people are still putting City in the favorite position since the difference is only 1 point. Not to mention Arsenal also can snatch the title assuming their gap with the top 1 doesn't get larger. It'd be foolish to call Liverpool or any team to win the title this early in.

But being promoted or not has no relation to financial power or how pretty their stadium is. If they play good football and win the second division or at the top, they will get promoted sooner or later. If the problem comes with the match being less enjoyable to watch on TV, or because VAR has troubles due to a lack of camera, etc, they should ask for help from the sponsor or the federation. What is your standard for consistent form? Winning 5 in a row or something similar? If you take a look at past results, Bayern usually ends the season with 4 losses or more since 18-19. Most of the time they also end the season with points around the 80 mark or so. If you look at the stats then it feels like Bayern is not as impressive as you think it is, in the league at least. If anything Leverkusen is just the better team atm since they have better form even if you compare it to the last season or a few seasons ago. Not saying this will continue though, since the league is still long. Just remember how close Dortmund was last season and then they fumbled it to allow Bayern to win it as usual.

I think this is a stretch in my opinion. There's no way Arsenal and Porto's first team has the same quality. You could argue that Porto managed to keep Arsenal out due to their tactics and all, but having a $60 million player in your squad should theoretically make you the better team on paper.

You could also say they got a bit lucky since Porto failed to score more because they had more threatening chances. If their player quality is a bit better and they have more composure, I believe Arsenal can be 1-0 down earlier. That's just football, if you fail to score or create any chances then it means nothing, even if you have 70% possession. Kind of weird Arsenal suddenly failed to score after they battered teams in the PL.
