281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you expect from dice sites? on: July 16, 2015, 07:52:50 PM
I like dice because it's simple to adjust our winnings, luck, seed, etc rather than playing card
If I want to test the provably fair, I just claim the faucet and the result will instant.
Also I like community so chat tab is important things to be add on dice site.

I don't really get the chat function of dice websites. What do they offer? You visit a dice website to gamble. If you want to chat, I'm sure you can find better chat websites than the chat functions on these dice websites.

In the end there's not much to communicate about: it's all about your own wins and losses.
282  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ Bettingblocks.com] ✔UNIQUE GAMBLING on block finders | ✔HUGE WINS EVERY WEEK! on: July 16, 2015, 07:50:49 PM
It would be cool if you added altcoin chains as well.  This way, users could parlay across multiple coins for huge payouts.
Thanks for suggestion! Will think on that

Yes, Rmcdermott927 is right; it would be nice if you also offer some altcoin gambling Wink. You can then still decide to gamble on BTC block finders, but able the users to pay a specific altcoin. Such as a Litecoin game or a Digitalcoin in which you bet on the next BTC block finder, but in which the prize pool is in the stated altcoin (Litecoin or Digitalcoin for example).

However, you should carefully select these altcoins. I don't think you want to own many games with many altcoins with prize pools of only 0.001 BTC (in altcoins) for example: this is not really attractive for customers.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: July 16, 2015, 07:48:04 PM
Don't even sleep and work on the computer all day

Sounds Creepy. You need to invest your time for family and friends too. Don't want to keep on running behind the money that I cannot spend my valuable time with my near and dear ones. Earn more and Spend less that is the success mantra to save money.

There's a kind of balance you need to find in that. Yes, you can work a lot. But then you don't have enough spare time to actually enjoy your life. If you do not work enough, you will have not enough funds to really enjoy your life.

Find a balance that suits you. I'm currently trying to maintain this balance by working one job with fixed hours per week, and a part time job in which I can determine how much I work (and when). In order to get some extra money to do nice activities or buy new stuff or to cover unexpected expenses, I work extra with my part time job. With my job with fixed hours i'm quite able to cover my monthly costs.

Payment for the last term has been made

The new list for 8th term can be found in this google doc. Payment for the next term is on 30th July.

I confirm that my post count is right. I indeed wanted to make use of the roll-over option (once) as I could not met the requirements for this term. I will reach the minimum amount of posts for the next term for sure though Wink.

285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin predictions. on: July 08, 2015, 10:42:52 PM
I'm not really into calculating the expected price of Litecoin in the future with these drawings and charts.

It's good to see that the price is increasing now, but looking at the history we were at much higher levels. To me, to only thing that could REALLY let the Litecoin increase in value, is a rally of the Bitcoin. Rallys of Bitcoins have shown earlier to attract more people into altcoins. As the BTC at its ATH looked really expensive for some people, they thought they were better of buying stable / reliable altcoins like Litecoin. The same happend with other altcoins.

And that's why I'm holding multiple altcoins, and that's why I'm waiting for a rally again Wink.

How much further do you think litecoin can go? It has already risen 5x in price.. If it goes another 10x it is already on par with bitcoin if you take the 4x supply into account.. The rally is already happening imo. Just the question is how far can we go?

I don't think it's sufficient to look at current supplies and demand for extreme rally's. I can remember that we had daily news items about the Bitcoin over here in the Netherlands when it reaches it ATH, and I'm sure much new people "joined" by buying BTC (or altcoins) in order to gain advantage. Those people have lost much of their value for sure.  But when such extreme rallys happen again, the altcoins will be worth much more. What if the BTC rises x3 and also the value of an altcoin VS BTC increases.. An altcoin will gain much value then.
286  Other / Off-topic / Re: whats your favorite car? on: July 08, 2015, 10:37:00 PM
Tesla Model S

I would love to own one some day ^^. I think they're great too. Very luxerious and fast as hell. And a lot of kilometers free to drive! (We've got free superchargers here in a few places in The Netherlands). With some planning you can drive across the country with free electricity ("fuel").

I'd like old Mustangs too:

Aswell as the new ones:
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scams were good for crypto on: July 08, 2015, 10:33:03 PM
I think we had a period of much newly created altcoins which all were shit and died.

Before that, there was a period of altcoins which were quite lucrative to mine while they were new (and the difficulty was still low). Nowadays I think we have seen too many shitcoins and almost everyone will admit that we have way too much altcoins already. I think that's the reason why we saw "old" stable altcoins flourish a bit again lately. Some altcoins (only a few) will survive I guess. The rest will slowly die.

I think you really have to have a great new coin (with some solid ground, and something really unique) in order to be succesful for only a bit. This will need a lot of time and other efforts, and I do not think that someone will "stop" such coin (he/she created) to scam people for a few BTC because he/she has spent that much time and efforts on it.
288  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: For Greece & the World - Today I put an exclusive bitcoin marketplace online on: July 08, 2015, 10:17:24 PM
I think this is quite a nice and useful idea. Indeed, especially for people who cannot use their bankaccount (as this might be controlled; limited or even frozen). However, I think that if that is the fact, it's quite sad for people that they're obligated to sell stuff in order to become some kind of currency. (It's really sad to see elderly in Greece not being able to pay for groceries of medicines because they cannot get enough money out of an ATM)..

I already saw an offer from Greece (http://bitbay.com/?view=look&id=Sf5nHWIUuh). Someone wants to place a mobile home near a beach? ^^

As mentioned earlier, the design is really easy. I quite like that: there's no need to make a complicated design. This one is quite straight forward, as it should.

291  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: July 08, 2015, 09:43:53 PM
You forgot to mention 'Prison Break'
I really enjoyed watching that show.
it was very interesting in the start when he was trying to break out of the prison, but later the story became so complicated and less and less related to the original plot IMO.

I hear that from more people - or even that the story became that bad that they stopped watching. I remember when I watched Prison Break, I was só excited every time and I could not wait for new episodes. In fact I always waited for new episodes: after I season was finished (or allmost finished) I started watching so I could determine how much episodes I could look right after each other.

I've never seen a serie so exiting. Prison Break, for me the best serie ever.
292  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: July 08, 2015, 09:41:42 PM
I could hold money noone knows I have.

I think that's not always true for some people: when you own a public address, this address can be linked to websites etc that own more personal information about you. However, a solution for this is sending some money to an extra / new address no one knows of. From then it's just a gamble whether it's yours or not. I think the government is not happy with Bitcoin with regard to people "saving money" in Bitcoin than on bankaccounts (in order to prevent paying tax) Wink.
293  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is your fav movie on: July 08, 2015, 09:37:47 PM
Yesterday I watched 'Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden' / Code Name: Geronimo'. What I expected was a movie that was going to be really in detail about the actual raid on Osama Bin Laden / the killing of Osama. But that was not really the case. Although it had a clear story line, it was not what I expected. I think it was quite weak, and do not recommend this movie if you want to watch a movie with a great, strong or hard story line. If you want to watch a quite light movie, then it's fine I guess.

Although I'm not going to add it to my favorites list.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] Guldencoin.com — D E L T A on: July 08, 2015, 09:31:29 PM
Paysafegulden is now back online for those that want to get onto the blockchain anonymously.

Well done! I'm not sure how much people actually use PaySafeCards here in The Netherlands, but I know they're popular in more countries. By this method, you actually enable people to buy GuldenCoin with cash. Cash > PaySafeCard > GuldenCoin (and there's no need to buy through iDeal or otherwise via your bankaccount). I think this attracts more people into GuldenCoin as is assures more privacy. Well done again!
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So we can get paid BTC for searching on Bing? on: July 08, 2015, 09:28:25 PM
It says a lot about the mindset of Microsoft/Bing. I predict hard times ahead with such an antiquated mindset.

I'm not sure whether it is the mindset that they should be afraid of. I think it's hard to survive when you've to compete against a company like Google. Owning that much money, they don't really care in loosing some money in risky investments or developments. They've lots of money to develop things and to "try out" ways to make even more money.

Sure, also Microsoft owns much money, but I think that's spread in more divisions and not only based on online services.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: July 08, 2015, 09:25:26 PM
Buy bitcoin and hold!

Come back in a few years!

You seem to be confusing saving and investing there. Judging from your "words" I could say that you are holding and expecting the price to be 3,4 or 5 figures at least. The fact is that saving is different from investing, saving is merely putting your money safe and thats all.
If you are going to save in form of BTC then you should already be aware and able to take the risk due to the volatility . Your saving could be half of the value you put in before or it could be 2x of what you put in . On the other hand , if you are saving with BTC then you could rest assure about the security of it unless it is not connected to the network

"Saving" in Bitcoin is quite attractive for people already saving much money (in order to prevent to pay tax, although here in The Netherlands you're still obligated to fill in your worth in Bitcoin for the tax).

I think you can also see buying Bitcoin as a way of investment because of the volatilty. It's a bit of a gamble whether you are going to make money or loose money. That's the same with investments (with high risks).
297  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Worth investing now? on: July 08, 2015, 09:22:58 PM
BTC price is so low that you are just as likely to make dollar profits buying BTC right now as buying miners.

It's not that simply, you never know what the price is going to do. Currently we're at $268 I see. That's an increase of almost $40 in one month, so yes, it was worth buying BTC one month ago. Honestly I expect an increase of the value. Especially because of the troubles with the Euro and Greece now. I'll keep stacking for now Wink.

(I think it's wiser to invest in BTC than in gambling or lotto tickets now).
