281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you bullish that EOS has the potential to beat Ethereum? on: June 02, 2018, 08:41:49 PM
If it keeps growing like this it might eventually, so much development going on with EOS and it seems to be growing pretty fast. Need to see mainnet first though and then decide I guess.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: June 01, 2018, 07:13:14 PM
Cryptopia list coins in max 15 days. So or sirius team or cryptopia is telling us some lies...

Actually i have trust issues with the team but cryptopia has a very bad track record.

Their customer service responds in a month and don't think it is different for icos.

Has cryptopia said anything about listing sirius or twitter at all? Did they put it in there announcements?

I've looked through all the tweets of Cryptopia for the past 3 months, there's no mention of Sirius...

Had been looking as well and could not find anything either, thought I might have missed it. Thanks for confirming.

284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LIZA coins lost in Yobit--Crazy on: June 01, 2018, 06:24:55 PM
I always see people complaining about yobit, coins are lost, deposits don't arrive, wallets suddenly get closed for no apparent reasons.
I wouldn't really trade there unless I really have to.
285  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: May 31, 2018, 11:01:55 AM
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

For me it's the other way around, I'd choose working in crypto and being your own boss over working some job any day.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: May 30, 2018, 01:55:02 PM
More than half of the ico's in 2017 have failed, were those all planned scams?
Maybe some of the ideas are just not feasible despite getting enough investors. All in all I think you're not that far off with the numbers, maybe a tad high.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income? on: May 30, 2018, 01:03:46 PM
If you support and believe in the project that you are campaigning for, I don't think it's ever a waste of time
But if you are joining ico campaign after ico campaign, you are probably going to get burned.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: May 29, 2018, 12:01:47 PM
Most likely they have alredy paid for the listing, so i mont sure they can get this discount.

Yes most likely. But since sirius hasn't been listed yet it wouldn't hurt shooting them an e-mail to address this discount thing.
289  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KYC is bullshit on: May 29, 2018, 11:57:14 AM
Why the fuck is everything requiring a fucking KYC now, Gambling sites don't even let you fucking withdraw without a fucking CIA style background check but they obviously let you deposit with nothing.

Bpunties used to be fun but now everything requires a fucking KYC.  NO I'M NOT GIVING MY PERSONAL INFORMATION OUT TO SOME FUCKING STRANGER OVER THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!!!!

THE WHOLE POINT OF CRYPTO IS TO STAY ANONYMOUS

I believe that there is nothing to be scared or worry of if we have nothing to hide and we are earning crypto in a clean manner. In my own understanding, KYC is required to ensure that the people that we are dealing with are legally living in a certain country and not criminals. This is also one way to prevent money laundering. We always wanted freedom, but sometimes too much freedom would result to abuse. But anyway, if you are doing everything legally then there is nothing to worry about.

Good for you if you have nothing to worry about and have no problem exposing all your private information to unknown entities on the internet.
But most people joined crypto to avoid this kind of stuff, the fact that people freely give away their personal information (like you say you have no problem with it) is what has made it become this bad.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: May 28, 2018, 11:52:19 AM
3 millions seems a bit strange also to me, what they are actually offering that other don't do for those money?  Huh

I dont think 3 Million is true about about kucoin, It was expensive but not that expensive.. last time i check was 100,000 USD in listing fees but their Review process is almost the same as cryptopia slow as snail. so its better to wait for cryptopia than to restart the whole process with kucoin

Kucoin was asking 5 btc for listing last time i check.

But as far as i know it takes forever for them to list it. And it can be price for token listings.

I have heard of coins getting charged 15 btc to get listed by cryptopia, so I'm not too sure which would be cheaper.
291  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance! Attention! Be cautious! on: May 28, 2018, 11:41:25 AM
A 0.5 btc reward for testing some application, I can't believe there are people out there falling for things like this.
How could you even think this would be real.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are still buying Bitcoin? on: May 28, 2018, 11:34:41 AM
If people buy Bitcoin at $8,000, they will get 100% profit only when Bitcoin reaches $16,000. If it takes 5 years to reach $16,000, people will earn more money from Gold and Silver than from Bitcoin. Silver is giving 20% to 35% profit in one year.

Mining cost of one Bitcoin is $5,000 or more. When Bitcoin was $400 or $800 it was understandable because people had to just spend $400 or $800 to get one Bitcoin and $1,200 is super high profits when Bitcoin started from $1.

How will you earn more money from investing in gold than bitcoin. Isn't gold's doubling forecast like 15 years?
293  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market is slowly degrading on: May 28, 2018, 11:20:11 AM
People should know how the game works by now.

Everything will turn green is a high percentage of about 20-40%. Nor can I deny the fact that the market can still degrade after this very unexpected cause. Cool

Do you have a more in depth reasoning as to why the 9k figure is of such importance?
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: May 27, 2018, 03:15:18 AM
Cryptopia is really a poor decision i think.

They still didn't add it to exhanges. I heard there would be other news about other exchanges but nothing so far.

Well for a coin that didn't have an ICO and give token to people for free getting list on cryptopia is a really good achievement

Why people keep repeating that SIRX never had an ICO Cheesy i dont know what you called it crowdfunding, fundraising, Donation event.. it think its all the same you sell your coins to public in exchange for their BTC's.

My bad I totally forgot that they tried to raise a few millions to get on big exchange. But with 800k you don't have much option, they can get on Hitbtc, cryptopia or yobit

Volume wise hitbtc would be kind of nice, but their support is horrible.
Yobit is even worse, it's a place where coins go to die. Cryptopia is not a bad choice imo.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IN BITCOIN on: May 27, 2018, 02:43:38 AM
Bitcoin could become illegal in all countries that bans child pornography after discovering this: https://www.sciencealert.com/bitcoin-illegal-almost-everywhere-after-shocking-blockchain-discovery-child-pornography

What can you say about it?

Every few months this stuff returns, always the same thing, just fud.
And you don't need btc to access that kind of stuff..,the internet is full of it, saying countries would ban btc is ludicrous.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Energy to produce Bitcoin and Ethereum is too high ? on: May 27, 2018, 02:39:40 AM
Depending on the country, the price of electricity varies from country to country, but there are different prices for bitcoin in each region, but the price of bitcoin depends on the country and low on the price of the country's resources.

The whole point of the article is to that btc doesn't consume as much energy as the fiat system does.
I have a feeling you didn't even read the OP.  Roll Eyes
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whitecoin - is going to MOON on: May 26, 2018, 11:12:04 AM
the concept of the whitecoin is one in which the investors will always appreciate and in such a case it will always appreciate and also the team involved in the development of the coin is committed to making their project a success and that is a step that shows that it will be a mooned. thanks

Yes every coin says that, this needs to be backed up by actions. As things stand now, whitecoin is just another coin with nothing special.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do thousands of investors hold bitcoin on troubled days? on: May 26, 2018, 10:50:08 AM
I would say because they believe in bitcoin, but on the other hand they are most likely people that can't afford or don't want to sell at a 20-30-40% loss. So they are forced to keep holding.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: May 25, 2018, 02:51:14 PM

Very nice.

What the fuck is going on?

Did he have a falling out with someone and is now slandering the team?

That's taken from the official bitcore page as well on medium

There is no any official bitcore pages on medium, as I know. Like there is no any proofs of "BTX scammage" or anything else. Just retarded selfish behavior.

Exactly there is no official bitcore team medium page, that guy has probably created it himself Cheesy
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] BIXBITE (BXB) - Cryptonight Heavy [POW] on: May 25, 2018, 11:30:06 AM
Not one single feature or unique thing about this coin, only cloned stuff.
Why should people join this project?
