At any rate I think by this time next year we will have seen prices well over $300

We will get 300$ again soon and much higher after as the Central Banks keep creating more fiat.

I wish I could have sold yesterday when the price jumped up but was working. By the time I got home it dumped. Hopefully it hits 300 on the next pump

You could set buying orders next time.

285  Economy / Speculation / Re: More volume and positive trend line : RETURN OF THE BULL MARKET ! on: March 13, 2015, 10:37:22 AM
I think we will return to 400$ soon, I am very bullish again!

Agree that we're going up, Bulls just dont get scared, we just know the world is full of jokers wanting to watch the world burn. Moon time comes after the trees are shaken from scary dump to 275 which won't be successful

Yes, we got to 300$ so far and I am very positive for the following months.
286  Economy / Services / Re: LOOKING FOR A DEV to add some line of codes to my new cool website on: March 05, 2015, 10:13:18 PM
Can you give more details (are we talking about adding an existing piece of code? writing a new one? payment details? ..)?

We are talking about adding a piece of code given by a third party website, not writing a new one. The payment will be depending on the number of hours needed (probably less than 4 hours)
287  Economy / Services / Re: LOOKING FOR A DEV to add some line of codes to my new cool website on: March 05, 2015, 08:43:39 PM
which language are you use in your website?
give some information. explain what are you thinking about? what do you mean "cool website"?

It is a service that will be offered. The work is very simple. The code has to be added to a worldpress website, maybe Ruby.

really depends what work you do later on hehe

Yes but many college degrees are not worth tens of thousands of dollars and three or four years of your life.
290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bold move because 300$ is at the corner on: March 05, 2015, 07:50:24 PM
We almost saw a price of 300$, 266$ now, a good time to get back in the market before the huge bull market to 400$ 500$ 700$ then 1000$, it will be violent and fast.

Big financial institutions in Europe can't sell more than a few millions euros worth of bonds to a bank, the market is highly illiquid. Gold and Bitcoin should thrive when the thin lawyer of confidence that the western populations have in their banking systems start to crack. It could be in a year or two years but it feels like it started so it could happen much sooner.

Over time, banks have failed or required government assistance because they had inadequate capital, a lack of liquidity, or a combination of the two.

The Federal Reserve since the financial crisis has worked to increase the levels of both liquidity and capital at banking organizations, but long term you cant sustain this scam forever.

Banks should fail when they have been mismanaged, the market needs to eliminate the losing companies for the greater good.

How does bitcoin thrive if the fiat banking system is illiquid?

There's no possibility of bitcoin loans. And the only way someone who needs capital can get it in bitcoin is buy using fiat to acquire it, which as you stated is hard to get your hands on in Europe right now.

You are right and we are not there yet but the fact that certain "big" markets are highly illequid is very interesting and Bitcoin should have a huge price appreciation when the confidence in the banking system go down significantly.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: Peter Schiff about the Winklevoss twins interview about the future of Bitcoin on: February 25, 2015, 12:43:24 PM
Everyone that isn't on Bitcoin yet has an old man mind. That's a fact.

Adam Smith guesstimated that only one in a million understood inflation. Nowadays, maybe one in thousand understand fiat, bank money creation, central banking. Half the people understand that it is smart to own real value through being short fiat with leverage (which is another way of saying own a house with a mortgage and a small personal equity).

Almost nobody understand why a house have value, most people believe it has something to do with the cost of building the house (the defunct labour value theory). Most people trust the central banks. Most people believe the money is well managed.

It has nothing to do with age. I suspect some old people know about hyperinflation (but only in failed states, could never happen here).

Indeed, most people have no idea how fiat and banks work, which in return puts us in an scenareo where Bitcoin makes no sense for them. To understand Bitcoin, you need to understand fiat and banks, but they are perfectly ok using fiat and banks without knowing how it works. This is a problem.

They are ok using it because there is little education explaining it and it is supposed to be safe, taking care of for the better good and protected by the government.
If the system was less protected, more would try to understand it to make good decisions and not give their hard earned money to anyone.

Zerohedge is great but predicts doom all the time!
There ahave been stress tests recently and even if they weren't really thorough enough, the banks all passed, so they aren't completely illiquid!

Have you look at the stress tests from the ECB? They are here http://en.youscribe.com/catalogue/tous/current-affairs-and-social-debate/current-affairs-events/stress-tests-aggregate-report-2511723

The worst scenario they tested for unemployment is 12.2%, -0.3%/year for inflation but they don't even test an inflation rate of 3%/year; -20% for stocks, about -1% growth a year; 3.8%/year for interest rates.

The ECB will monetise the debt because the politics will not be honest enough to do a haircut; the voters will fall for more government intervention waiting for a providential great group of guys to run the countries but it won't happen because bad people are attracted by the power and power corrupts.
