281  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Alternative to shapeshift.io on: April 11, 2016, 11:05:59 PM
best I can recommend is poloniex. yeah they're not quite the same as shapeshift.io but it's better than some unknown service that no one ever heard of before (if you find one).
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Divorce: A Match Made in Heaven? on: April 11, 2016, 10:13:24 PM
Don't do this if you have children guys! Every man has a responsibility to make sure his kids are fed and clothed and educated and do him proud as they turn into fine adults.

284  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of Every VPN Provider that Accepts Bitcoin on: April 11, 2016, 07:06:04 PM
Check out this article that I found http://best10vpn.com/which-vpns-accept-bitcoin/.

nice find. although it would be much better if we can sort the list by their price per month.
285  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar - decentralized eBay on: April 11, 2016, 04:22:39 PM
2 YEARS LATER - after updating, store/site is STILL inaccessable.

ive uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times... (win 7 - 64bit)

(win 7 - 32bit installs fine BUT laptop is tiny & screen wont fit/cant change size - NIGHTMARE TO SET UP, BUT 'WORKS')

maybe you should give more detail. there are many kinds of inaccessible.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Know i know how a bitcoin looks like on: April 10, 2016, 10:37:15 PM
actually. I just tried again and now I see it. it's a visualization of the blockchain in 3D. really cool stuff with lots of transaction "balls" falling and moving around.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Know i know how a bitcoin looks like on: April 10, 2016, 06:46:07 PM
what am I supposed to see? there's nothing but grey.

What cool graphic are we talking about ? All I see is couple of buttons on the right side and this on the left side :

-snipped-

+ an address on the bottom .

like that.

290  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How else can i monetize my internet connection? on: April 10, 2016, 04:09:06 PM
I will check it, but my first thought was earning without much work. I don't expect miracles but few dollars up to 10 would be very nice.. Wink

you can earn without much work by selling torrent tracker invites but if you don't have an account you'll have to get one first.
though most invite only trackers will ban you if you invite too many leechers.
291  Other / Meta / Re: How is forum activity calculated? on: April 09, 2016, 09:13:08 PM
Some people are luckier than others, like someone who has spent only three weeks and is already having an activity of 30.

luck has nothing to do with activity. as long as they have posted on 3 activity periods, a person can spend less than an hour in bitcointalk and have 30 activity.
292  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Openbazaar question on: April 09, 2016, 06:23:54 PM
I was able to set up a shop on my laptop two days ago, can't even access the shop when I tried searching from another pc. Now it isn't working.

that's probably because your shop is not online. you have to be online for anyone to be able to access your shop.
293  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan on: April 09, 2016, 05:43:16 PM
received a while ago. you're welcome.
294  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan on: April 09, 2016, 04:53:30 PM

295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar Opened , your first impressions ? on: April 09, 2016, 03:01:10 PM
I think in my country nobody is selling nothing here... so it's just waste for me  Undecided

maybe. but you can still ship stuff from overseas. the shipping fee can be a killer depending on where you live though.

oh and there's also digital goods that can be transferred anywhere.
296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi, first day here, question about dangers of buying a full member account on: April 09, 2016, 01:51:05 PM
you rank up when your activity reach certain amount.
activity are tied to post. but unlike post count there's a limit on how many activity you can get.

there are no limits on how many threads you can make a day. you don't need to create threads to gain ranks.

weird. last 50 transactions all have OP_RETURN 5334ae9d55d586f04b0f81f9f1a788f4789aa92bd4131f5229f639a0632a69f734aa ... why would anyone send the same thing over and over?
flooding? Smiley

maybe. but before this transaction, they used different string for every transactions.
could be nothing of course. and I've got no patience to go through thousands of that.

anyone got an easier way of getting those strings together?
