Making Market place (like OpenBazaar) supporting Bitcoin is really helpful and great idea. I think ebay, amazon and the others will be enforced in the near future to accept Bitcoin as payment processor , because it's growing up daily

Decentralized doesn't truly mean free from regulation. We live in a world where being anonymous and under the radar is literally nearly impossible. Along with a decentralized market, we need decentralized infrastructure established to help facilitate the continuity of decentralization from the top down.

Can't wait for it to be released. It is a pretty good concept considering that there are no fees and restrictions at all (compared to ebay with Paypal). This would make a serious competion for ebay and Paypal, and probably Amazon as well.

Really hope it launches, and it goes on well and used.
There aren't a lot of people using Bitcoin, and a high percentage of those people are using it just to store/invest, not buying. So I am not too optimistic.

Looking good but I thought there would be a stable release around now. Also waiting for Windows binaries.

Just by opening a store on ebay demands a fee and it sucks for those who just wanted to sell their used items. Might be a good time to start as a merchant in the site as soon as it opens. I will be selling items there from tshirts to handbags

What the hell people? Do you have any idea what OpenBazaar is? Not know what is OB until I spent a few minute reading the detail from google. Now I know it is a place fot everyone and decentralised.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

OB doesn't work for me. The server (local) doesn't work as it should do, so nobody can see my items. After 3 days of testing and headaches I discovered that I'm after a NAT connection (it's my mobile provider, Wind IT), in fact under setting/advanced/Firewall it say "firewall.SeverelyRestricted". I don't know what I can do, and I can't change provider right now (most of them seems to use NAT anyway). I wish I don't need to pay for a VPS, to me it would be like keeping my own bitcoins on an exchange (absurd). I hope there is a solution or the next versions of OB could solve this problem.
Anybody having the same issue?

I can live with the UI decisions but I have an awful lot of trouble with constant disconnects. Excuse my ignorance, but why UDP?

where's this firewall setting that you speak of? I don't see anything like that. one of my connections (a dial-up connection for another PC) is not working for OB so I want to know how to fix it also.

hmm... ctrl g didn't work. I found manually but it seems like it's not that for me because the third field (connection security rules) are empty.
