I won’t be watching as Liverpool play tonight but I really hope Porto give Arsenal a difficult game tonight. It’s for selfish reasons of course but I hope they have a tiring game, a couple of minor injuries would be good too.

They don’t seem to get injuries like Liverpool do. They have the same players available every game. So yeah, come on Porto.

Kinda glad we’ve taken a breather and the price has stopped pumping. It’s too early bros, the last thing we needed was an unsustainable pre-halving rally and a mini blow off top and dump. Slow and steady wins the race man, this shit is a marathon, not a sprint.

I do wonder who is selling now though, what kind of a moron do you have to be to sell the greatest financial asset known to man, two months before its supply is cut yet again? I guess you can’t help stupid people.

I’d like 50k to hold, if only for psychological reasons. Let’s meander around 50k and then start a slow rise into the halving. Spot ETFs will soon have bought all the OTC supply and that’s when the fun will really start. $250,000 in play for 2025.

HODL.

Did you know that Man City has won the Premier League trophy 5 times in the last 6 years?  Man City know very well what kind of performance they need to apply at any given time. and they play very seriously in every match. no matter how much Liverpool occupies the 1st position in the points table. I think Man City have a chance to lift the trophy this year as per my prediction. Yes their opponent Brentford played well enough in today's match but with Man City's performance they couldn't defend themselves in the second half.

Did you know that Manchester City are under investigation for 115, yes one hundred and fifteen breaches of financial irregularities by the Premier League?

None of their success means anything, they have cheated to win trophies and it will be proven within 18 months.
They could be stripped of titles won and even relegated multiple divisions.

For context, Everton recently got a 10 point deduction for something that pales in comparison to shat Man City are accused of.

Man City 0-0 Brentford at 12 minutes gone. I don’t know why I’m watching this. I must enjoy punishment or something but here I am, desperately  hoping Man City drop points in the title race. They should win this very comfortably though.

We (LFC) will have to keep the pressure on by beating Luton at Anfield tomorrow. Lots of injuries but we should still be far too strong.

@FabrizioRomano
🇫🇷 Ibrahima Konaté when asked about Mbappé and Liverpool links: “Guys, in all honesty, do you really think he’s coming here?!”.

“We all know where Kylian is going!”.

Konate was asked about where Mbappe is going after the game against Brentford. He jokingly said, ‘we all know where Kylian is going’

We can all assume that is Real Madrid.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 17, 2024, 08:06:10 PM
How can they lose to a poor side like Lazio who are not doing well in the Seria A Competition so far this season. If it was a good side I won't have said nothing but Sarri and Lazio?
Thomas Tuchel has got to take a good look at what he's doing, I don't think he'll have the chance to be the long term coach for Bayern Munich.

Right now, Bayern Munich can just hope he wins the next game with good numbers otherwise he'll be gone for good. Return of Hansi Flick has been rumoured in the last few days.

Bayern fans will not be happy at the moment but in the CL it is only half time in their last 16 tie. They are 1-0 down and they have 90 minutes to turn it back in their favour in Germany. I don’t know if Bayern are good enough to win the CL but they can definitely get past Lazio and I expect them to.

They are more in trouble in the Bundesliga. Leverkusen are absolutely flying, they have serious momentum. Bayern just have to stay in touching distance, must beat Bochum tomorrow.

Seems to be a bit of a weekend retest of $50,000. The price has held strong so far, would be really bullish if we make $50,000 new support.

I suppose bears are using the weekend as a good time to try and push us lower as the ETF providers aren’t buying so volume is a lot lower. If we don’t go below $50,000 during non legacy trading days, bears will be in disbelief.

Hopefully Arsenal or Man City drop points and one of my accumulators comes in, that would make it a perfect weekend haha.

I was hoping but not expecting Wink

Well played Chelsea.

Haaland should have scored at least two.

Pleasantly surprised at how easily we dispatched Brentford away today. I did not expect to win 4-1, it’s a great start to the weekend for me. Love it when we win the early game, I can sit back and enjoy the rest of the football this weekend now.

Hopefully Arsenal or Man City drop points and one of my accumulators comes in, that would make it a perfect weekend haha.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football leagues to introduce 'sin-bin' & blue card for unruly players on: February 16, 2024, 09:02:44 PM
Officiating is already bad enough without starting this blue card nonsense. Premier League referees and VAR have been terrible this season, they find it hard enough to carry out and oversee the current rules so this blue card thing is a big no from me.

Just leave the game alone, we don’t need any more changes.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between afford to lose and can't afford to lose. on: February 16, 2024, 08:31:31 PM
Any responsible adult should know the difference between what they can and can’t afford to lose when gambling. It isn’t difficult to set a budget, I understand some people can go too far but you have to have conviction in managing your own gambling risk.

Most reputable casinos and sportsbooks promote responsible gambling but really, you have to take control yourself. You can not blame anybody else for your gambling failures
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: February 16, 2024, 07:49:55 PM
Man City during this season has lost 3x, while Chelsea 10x. But, If what is meant is Head-to-head Man City vs Chelsea, it looks like Man City has not been beaten by Chelsea in at least the last 5 matches. But once a draw and another is a victory for Man City. And in the next match, Man City looks like they will win again, although maybe it won't be that easy, but I believe that Man City will be superior.

As a Liverpool fan obviously I want Chelsea to win but let’s be honest here, Man City will destroy them. It’s what they do at this time of the season.

I am starting to give up hope that Liverpool can win it this season. We have too many injuries mounting and Man City have Haaland and De Bruyne back fit.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 16, 2024, 07:22:11 PM
News coming in tonight on Twitter (X) that Alisson will miss the game against Brentford tomorrow due to a hamstring injury. Liverpool must have the worst medical department in the PL, so many muscle injuries.

That’s now Szoboszlai, Trent and Alisson out with hamstring injuries. Salah has also just returned from a hamstring injury. These aren’t unfortunate impact injuries, these are all hamstring injuries.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: February 15, 2024, 05:00:26 PM
I’m far from enamoured about Liverpool’s participation in the Europa League but I guess as we are in it, I want to win it. Just feels a bit of a come down after us doing relatively well in the CL since 2017/18.

Any way, be interesting to see how the teams dropping out of the CL do in their play off rounds tonight. Naturally I hope the likes of AC Milan lose Wink
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will AI Take over the Position of VAR? on: February 15, 2024, 11:53:11 AM
I don’t think it will for a while, if ever. It couldn’t be much worse than VAR used by PL officials in England though. They have been terrible, especially this season where Liverpool have been on the wrong end of the most decisions according to ESPN.

I like anything that makes the correct decisions. VAR is a great tool but in the PL t is operated by incompetent or corrupt officials.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 15, 2024, 11:49:02 AM
After watching the last 16 games so far, I don’t see any other team being capable of beating Man City. I know anything can happen but Bayern were incredibly poor, PSG always choke. My hope is Real Madrid rise to the big occasion like they so often do. Man City embarrassed them last season though. Hopefully Bellingham makes a difference for them this season.

Barcelona are a pale shadow of what they once were, I just don’t see any credible challengers to Man City and I really don’t want them to win it again. It leaves a sour taste in the mouth with them because of all the financial charges they face for cheating.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 15, 2024, 11:41:25 AM
Therefore, although at least Chelsea also in the last few matches showed a recovery in performance but of course, it will still be difficult for Chelsea to get points on away match against Manchester City . Because of course, Manchester City will also maximize this moment to be able to return to the top of the Premier League standings by consistently winning in every match.
If Chelsea succeeds in at least holding Manchester City to a draw then it will raise their spirits because at least when facing a difficult match they managed to get a point even if only one, at the start of the season against Liverpool they managed to hold a draw as well as when facing Arsenal some time ago, but these two matches are home game for Chelsea so this time it will be different so if they manage to hold City to a draw then this will really be a surprise and a profitable result for Liverpool and also Arsenal.
But how big are the chances of Chelsea making a surprise? if we look at the odds on the betting market, the chances can be said to be small because Manchester City is far superior, City gets odds @ 1.33 and Chelsea @ 8.00 with a draw @ 5.50, so even a draw is very difficult for Chelsea, but nothing is impossible because we also see that the early minutes of the match or the first half are quite crucial times for City where they often have difficulty scoring goals and often fall behind, if Chelsea play well and aggressively and maintain their defense tightly something surprising may happen.

Unfortunately this is usually the time of the season that Man City go on a really long winning run. I don’t think Chelsea will be able to get anything at The Etihad.

The only thing that could possibly work in Chelsea’s favour is that they have a cup final season and maybe that will motivate the players more as they will want to start at Wembley.

The future of striker Kylian Mbappe is still a question mark after he refused to extend his contract with the Parc des Princes team. But with his professionalism, the striker born in 1998 still played his best and helped the Ligue 1 representative win essential victories this season. Kylian Mbappe continued to maintain his high form. He was one of two scorers to help PSG defeat Real Sociedad 2-0 at home. Recently, some rumors about Mbappe joining Real in the summer have made the relationship between him and PSG fans tense. Anyway, Mbappe is still too important to PSG.

The Mbappe transfer saga has been going on for years, it’s getting tedious. I feel like he uses the uncertainty and rumours to almost blackmail PSG into getting bigger contracts.

Hopefully he finally joins Real Madrid this summer, he’s too good to stagnate in Ligue 1.
