Interesting list, bit random like the "wintermeasures" list. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1597201.msg16155093#msg16155093

all the same farmer.
283  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming. Allowed? on: November 01, 2016, 06:37:42 PM
Ok, few questions.
You mean like "all 7 accounts" listed in my post above are banned?
Yes.

Lauda,
Were only those 7 accounts banned together, or were they part of a bigger group banned at that time?

bump.

284  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming. Allowed? on: November 01, 2016, 06:32:12 PM
That's my story .I bought some accounts before to sell and i think all of those accounts are in your farmed list .
The last account that i bought is from a different account farmer and i saw the account he use to sell those accounts until now.

This is the first account farmer ,
But he is wise enough as i conclude that the accounts that i bought have no similar usernames with his other accounts .
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=628183 Republic of Coin

This is the second farmer ,
On my observation his account are likely some of the usernames on the list .
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=639394  Next BillG
vurasasog, vasrasus, vatusasid etc that starts with that same words and a jumbled vowels.

Thanks for posting,

they are likely the same farmer. these "seller" accounts are liable to neg trust, and are disposable.
Next BillG account sells accounts with similar names you say, vurasasog, vasrasus, vatusasid, yet was created on a unsimular name list himself.
(see link to Next BillG above post)

the same farmer changing his "account naming style" as cover.
first long double barrel names, then any name, then similar names vurasasog, vasrasus, vatusasid, then alphabet names. our farmer is OCD.
it fooled admin and the mods. it don't fool me.

I believe these 2 new threads,
Wings Spammers             https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1663854.0
Russian Political Posters    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1666048.0

are explained by this post, the mr green list.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1597201.msg16405201#msg16405201

A (likely) new farmer. Russian, mainly in the Wings campaign, or Ark campaign, or ranking up.
There is also a (likely) new Chinese farmer.
(i strangely have "some" evidence to link both these farmers, and our original farmer, not conclusive)
My linked post connected accounts created on June 5 and 6, 2016.
I have found others, Russian farmed Wings sig accounts, from June 5, (yet to post)
and even more Russian farmed Wings sig accounts, and Chinese farmed accounts on June 6 (yet to post)

I have seen, and started to compile many new lists involving above farmer(s) creating accounts on many days in June 2016.
Not having any help off theymos or any admin here, i have no spreadsheets for this period. It's like working blind, thanks guys.

I know this farmer carries on after June. (i also know it carries on prior to June, back to my jan lists)

I have found a list for as recently as October 10, 2016. Russian farmed accounts, too new to be in Wings sig?
I'm not linking them here and now, but as evidence for any interested readers that farming still goes on unchecked, here are some of those farmed u=# from October 10, 2016

people that have proven they would use it for good. (like rizzlarolla)

thanks Twitchyseal.

"there's obviously a big difference between people using multiple accounts to post on the forum and people creating hundreds or thousands of accounts "
Exactly.

"It's technically not against the rules."
There is no specific "farmer" rule, but there are other rules. No spam. No low quality posts.
How is it possible to own and post with "hundreds" of accounts and not be low quality spam!
Mods will judge each as an individual!

There is another rule. If 1 account is banned, all his alts are also banned.
"it is not the account, it is the farmer person.
294  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming. Allowed? on: October 27, 2016, 08:08:24 PM
Ok, few questions.
You mean like "all 7 accounts" listed in my post above are banned?
Yes.

Lauda,
Were only those 7 accounts banned together, or were they part of a bigger group banned at that time?

I will wait and see if BadBear turns up here in the next day or two to thank me and supply the spreadsheets i requested with info on the investigation of the quoted farmers, maybe a strategy! Maybe BadBear will post a new list of farmed accounts (with evidences) he has found!

I don't share information like that. It just gives them more information on what to avoid, and what not to do. They read this board too.

Bit lame.

No info, no spreadsheets, no list, no thanks, no help.

They have been untouched for a year. How long were you going to leave it?
lol, give them info like don't create long lists of accounts with names starting A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,J,K,L,...
or don't create long lists of accounts with names starting A,B,C,D,A,B,C,D...

So blatant. They are not hidden.
it is hard to be random, bitcoiners know that? and this farmer failed spectacularly.

To be random would take real time and effort from the farmer, likely making his operation unprofitable.

Just bumped into Grobogan - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=900939

"Is it better to save money or invest it?"

Saving is putting money aside bit by bit, to make a lump sum. You need to save for a particular goal, like having money for a holiday, a depoist on house, or any emergencies that might crop up. Often saving is taken to mean putting your money into cash products, like bank and building society accounts, and thats how define savings.

You say 'spam' - > you or others (link?)  need to prove not me .
No, not really. How about you prove that they aren't spam? 30k unconfirmed transactions in the 1-10 satoshis/byte range says a lot.

30k unconfirmed transactions in the 41+ satoshis/byte range says a lot.

297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed Transactions Problem on: October 26, 2016, 08:22:02 PM
If it is saturated, that's because people is using Bitcoin. Bitcoin wasn't intented to be instant, never. That's more a store of value. For one second transactions, use altcoins.

If it were actual organic usage that was causing the delays and the backlog, then it would be understandable that there is some kind of seeming emergency and something needs to be done in order to make it better.

This current and ongoing situation does not appear to be any kind of organic usage situation.

Accordingly, yesterday, about 24 hours ago, as I type, there was a sudden and unexplained spike in the transactions and ongoing jam..   A very similar thing happened last week, but it seemed to have been resolved in less than 12 hours.  Anyhow, the current blockages appear more as if they are attempts at sabotage in order to cause impressions of some kind of emergency situation that does not in reality exist, except for the purposeful, malicious and currently ongoing attack/sabotage.

"there was a sudden and unexplained spike". duh... Like no one want to use bitcoin.
"A very similar thing happened last week," Oh, so this sudden and unexplained spike is not such a surprise.

"the current blockages appear more as if they are attempts at sabotage in order to cause impressions of some kind of emergency situation that does not in reality exist" Mostly innocent free paying bitcoiners. 32,000 paying 40sat/byte or MORE at time of writing.

It cant be happening man! Pull ya head out of the sand.

Edit - 50 40 sat/byte

Look at these 2 farmed accounts, posting spam one after the other, almost identical, same lay out, i thought it was copy paste for a minute!
Both on my main list, and on the same sub list, registered 90 minutes apart, nov 19 2015. part of 8 accounts in sub list.

Jeez, the whole thread is teaming with famed accounts, and PieCrafted copy pasting.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience. It must be really a great help to this community. I really appreciate it.

Bots are working as per predetermined parameters. So, expecting them to perform well for all type of market conditions is completely meaningless. If we are having some knowledge on setting up those parameters, we will be get chances to make them work according to market conditions but it is not for beginners, only advanced traders could do this.

If I am correct the US dollar is already dominating the Bitcoin trading because most people are selling there Bitcoins against the US dollar.
I think that this is going to be the same for a long time I do not see any reason why people would trade in for a other currency.

Nobody should neither impose hard fork nor soft fork without consensus IMHO, not even on core.

Although I believe that with a soft fork, everything keeps working for everyone and with a hard fork there are users who can't see some transactions, and think they haven't gotten paid when they have.
But with soft forks, the protocol in 10 or 20 years is going to be a horrible and confusing mess.

TL;DR soft forks are grotesque. Hard forks are violent.

I think storing is not against the bitcoin alrotugh its not pretty good for the economy a lot of people are doing this because if the fact that the bitcoin is gonna rise in its price.
This price increase is because of the halving and people are waiting on it because of that.
