281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: February 25, 2024, 08:16:54 PM
Well, seems like the Ajax losing steam is again a serious thing, i cant believe how bad they are this season even with some reinforcements, they still being a shit, and this was a very big shot, because it was a game for six points, a game against Az who is in the 4º position of the tournament.
And this doesn't comes as surprise. After they changed coach and it looked that results improved for a while. But their squad remains weak, yeah, they got Jordan Henderson, but that's not enough. Ajax survived Conference league game with Bodo/Glimt, but I'm not sure that's such great thing for them. Now maybe it would be better to focus on on Eredivisie only.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: February 25, 2024, 08:01:44 PM
Almeria was good again, but they are still winless this season, and could set negative record for a season without a win
not sure if that happened in history, can't remember some recent season

sorry about Valencia neighbourhood that was caught on fire, at least 10 dead, and a lot of injured people
and it is some newer highrise building, 14 floors
It's very strange when team isn't playing that bad and still without a win. They took points from 5 Top 8 teams - Girona, Atletico, Athletic, Betis and Valencia, were so close from making huge upsets against Real and Barca. It looks that their first win is only matter of time but sometimes they just don't have luck.
Got curious about worst performance in La Liga and seems that there were not cases when team ended season without a win. Worst result is 2 wins, shared by 4 teams - Logrones 94/95, Sporting Gijon 97/98, other worst performance were recorded during WWII.
283  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: February 25, 2024, 07:15:52 PM
Russian intelligence doesn't sleep and it's present all around the world. You might've heard the story about Russian helicopter pilot who defected to Ukraine, killed 2 of his comrades and got a bounty from Ukrainian government. It appears that he did not want to stay in Ukraine and moved to Spain, where he was found by Russian intelligence and assassinated (shot and run over by a car). Poor idiot contacted his girlfriend and asked her to come to Spain and the killers most probably followed her from Russia to Spain.
Yeah, I know that story of killed pilot. Soon after he run away to Ukraine, Russians announced hunt of him and promised to kill him. He isn't first and probably last their opponent who get killed or poisoned - Russian intelligence have really long hands.

Anyway, today I have seen the first video of a Abrams in action. Quick action, two hits quick retreat.
It's been a while since Ukraine got it, but we haven't seen it in use. Mainly because it doesn't fits well on Ukraine land. Filters n their engine intakes doesn't like mud and considering that we have early spring in Ukraine, there is so much mud there. So, a bit surprised that they started to use it now.

I wonder if the Russians think they live in democracy in what is being told them by Russian state TV or they really want this way of life going from bad to worse in their economy.Just one more year of the war and the economy will be down to its knees in a definitive way.
I think that many understand that they're not living in democracy, but they're completely fine with it. They simply can't live without Tsar. They don't live that bad because sanctions doesn't have that big influence on random Russian daily life. But they believe that Europe is starving, people can't afford to have heating a economy of Europe is going to collapse soon.

Damn! Once again, LTU_btc was saved by that late goal because otherwise it would have been a penalty shootout, Then there would have been a very good chance for Palmer to score a goal and chi20 had won this point..

Very exciting match between LTU_btc and chi20  😁
once again,  everything is working against me.
From the Leicester game, which Leicester was leading until 80th  minutes and Leeds comes from nowhere with 3 goals which is still surprising to me.
And I dislike penalties 😒.  At this point,  I think I just lost it. I give up.
Man, I just can't live without drama. As you said, Carabao Cup final, then comeback of Leeds in few minutes. On last league round I was saved goals of Shakhtar and Real Sociedad. Damn, such things isn't good for my health Cheesy.
And when I naswered Carabao Cup question, somehwow I wassure that goals on regular time and extra time will be counted, not penalties. My bad, fortunately didn't got burned by this Cheesy
Now into penalties with you and my friendly game with slackovic. Good luck and let the best bastard win Cheesy
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 23/24 European basketball discussion: Euroleague/BBL/ACB/LegaA/LNB/TBL.. on: February 24, 2024, 06:57:12 PM
Serbia won easily yesterday, and we are in that group with Denmark and Georgia

should be an easy pass for us in this group, especially since 3 teams are going further from 4 teams in the group
can't avoid to say that this qualifications are pretty meaningless on this format, where a lot of teams are passing into next stage, and most stars don't even play on these matches
NBA is playing along, and their stars are not even considered for this qualifications
Yeah, this qualification is almost meaningless. We have 4 teams in group and 3 of them directly qualify to Eurobasket and there is 4 teams who already qualified as hosts - Poland, Latvia, Finland and Cyprus. I don't understand why they play in this qualifers.
For the first time sine current format was introduced, we have Euroleague players available to play as Euroleague made a window in their tournament. So, at least we don't see B or C teams playing. Previously some big teams like Slovenia, Latvia or Croatia become victim of such format - they lost biggest stars and they don't have big pool of average level players to replace them. Outcome of this - failing to qualify to major tournaments.
286  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: February 24, 2024, 06:47:58 PM
Not impossible I guess... but it would need to cross all Crimea. All the ships anti-air in the area could probably spot it and perhaps stop it. And also there is the problem of identification, detection and tracking. Even if you can hit a target at 300 km and evade all measures you would need to know and "see" that target. I am not sure that is such an easy task.

May be an US AWACS passing some "gospel" to the Ukrainian forces? I hope we get to know more about this. It is becoming seriously expensive for Ruzzia to have anything in the air near Ukraine.

Forbes does speak about a long range radar capability for the S-200 modified. An A-50 is a large, non-stealth plane, the missile (huge missile) was intended to destroy bombers, yes, could be... it is believable.
No, it didn't had to go through Crimea. It was confirmed that plane have fallen near to Truodovaya Armenia village. And if you look at location of this village (https://t.me/DIUkraine/3507?single), missile had to flie over occupied Southern Ukraine like Melitopol or Berdyansk, depends from where exactly it was released and then over Azov Sea.
But still, if it was done by Ukraine, it's very impressive, hitting moving plane so far away sounds very complicated, after all it's not static target. And from video that was posted, it looks that plane pilot knew about incoming missile, as we saw how plane released false heat targets and one of missiles hit it.

@paxmao, I wonder how you can stand it and how you have the will to hold discussions with brainwashed communists? He (Branko) and his red gang recently held a rally where they waved symbols of communism because they have the Soviet Union and comrades Tito and Stalin in their hearts.

Of course, the protest was directed against the current government, but the symbols they use speak more than clearly about the kind of people they are.

Something similar like protests of Polish farmers on border with Ukraine. From first glance it looks like ordinary farmers protest, but then you see banners asking help from Putin. And then guy like Piotr Panasiuk, listed on Ukrainian Peacemaker database, he have accounts on Russian social media like VK on constantly posting Russian propaganda on his Twitter https://twitter.com/PanasukPetr https://twitter.com/United24media/status/1760260771471036627
Then you understand that they're not just useful idiots, but actually heavy influenced by Russia.
287  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: February 24, 2024, 12:19:55 AM
it would be so stupid to shot your own A-50 given that Ukraine does not have such a plane???
After everything what I saw in these 2 years of war, it's already very difficult to surprise me. And friendly fire wouldn't be something what would amaze me. Especially when there was similar cases before, like shoting down their fighter jet (IIRC Su-34 - something what Ukraine don't have).
Ukrainian media raised version that plane was downed by modernised Ukrainian S-200 missile, it has range of 300 km:
https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2024/02/23/7443442/
There is good article about this system:
https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidaxe/2023/07/10/ukraines-newest-deep-strike-missile-is-an-ex-soviet-antique-with-a-few-tweaks/?sh=6f6fec5f1104
288  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: February 23, 2024, 08:03:42 PM
Nobody isn't surprised anymore that loses of Russian fighter jets become almost daily news. But now we have news about second A-50 radar plane shot down. It happened in Krasnodar Krai by the Azov Sea:
https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidaxe/2024/02/23/incredibly-the-russian-air-force-has-lost-another-one-of-its-rare-a-50-radar-planes/?sh=76986fb82ac4
https://twitter.com/wartranslated/status/1761086908317176126
https://twitter.com/wartranslated/status/1761089596534800878
Interesting moment that it happened more than 250 km from front line, it's distance that Patriot system can't reach. Some Russians are raising version about friendly fire. And their anger is understandable. The have just several such planes and they can't simply build new plane from scratch to replace lost ones.
289  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: February 23, 2024, 07:10:45 PM
A good number of people have received the maximum 9 GT by making the 30 hourly faucet roll within the given time frame. I have also received 4 GT like you. The promo had started at 10:00 AM (GMT) on the 20th February. I tried to make the 30 faucet claim during the promo period, but I managed to do 27 claim before the end of the promo. I'm still satisfied for the free 4 GT which I have received from this promo.
I have received 4 Golden Tickets, what is still better than nothing. No idea how far way I was from getting 9 tickets, simply forgot to visit Freebitco.in more actively during promotion, so, I see it as wasted opportunity.

Well, honestly, I think I've come to a point where I no longer expect to win anything from freebitco, whether it be the lottery, or a lambo, or whatever, I know their lottery is fair for all participants but sometimes, I honestly reasons to doubt if indeed, the lottery is fair.

Why do I say this? I've seen countless times users with less than a 100 lottery tickets win the top position in the lottery, and even though I've been playing this for several years now, I've never had the chance of winning, even with thousands of tickets at times.

My final resolution and also advice  to anyone like me is actually not to give up, continue participating in the lottery since most of the tickets are also given for free, participate also in the lambo contest if you have the opportunity, no one can tell when your luck will hit, it may come like a thief in the night, expected.
I also play without any expectations to win and I think I never had big dreams to win something here. But if you won't play, you won't win. In all these years, using Freebitco.in just because my daily routine and it will be difficult to change this habbit.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Group Stage playoffs on: February 23, 2024, 06:58:43 PM
Round of 16 draw results:

Most interesting pair is Ajax - Aston Villa, despite that Ajax is struggling this season and were close from elimination against Bodo/Glimt. And we all know how successful Unai Emery is at UEFA Cups.

Viktoria Plzeň are the only perfect team in Conference, so I'm pretty curious if they'll get one of the big teams, funny to see that the guys like Ajax are unseeded lol

BTW with Real Betis kicked out now there is no Spanish team left in this competition, pretty shocking that nobody made it to Last 16.

Greece, Belgium and Israel both have 2 teams each, and if I'm not mistaken are not allowed to meet each other so there is a chance in the final 8 there are going to be representatives from these countries doubling a chance.
Good point about Plzen, I didn't noticed this, very unexpected. Betis elimination is upset, but Dinamo Zagreb deserved to win. Europa league is playground of Spanish clubs, but in Conference league they're not doing so good. If I'm not mistaken Betis was just 2nd Spanish club to ever play in this competition.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: February 22, 2024, 10:07:07 PM
What Sparta Prague is crazy. They were big underdogs against Galatasaray, they were few minutes away from reaching draw in Istanbul and now they destroyed them at home 4:1. Galtasaray with such expensive squad getting eliminated so early is big upset
Braga made big comeback against Qarabag, but it wasn't enough as Qarabag survived by scoring goal in extra time.
Now all eyes is on Feyenoord - Roma overtime
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: February 22, 2024, 09:38:48 PM
So, if I'm not missed anything, I took a point in Europa league question against chi20 as our only different answer was Ajax. He still leads 2:1 and we have 2 different answers remaining - Championship and EFL Cup. Damn, Ajax game cost me lot of nerves tonight, Bodo/Glimt weren't far away from sending game to penalties
And in friendly game with slackovic I think that we're still tied, but at least it's not goaless game anymore Cheesy.
And congrats to all Croatian folks here with Dinamo Zagreb advancing to the next round - well deserved.

Rublev is also out of Doha, even if that result has no meaning for us..
While Khachanov reached semifinal after his opponent retired from game. Just one player picked him to advance further, maybe nothing surprising, but strange that nobody didn't went with ''Same'' option.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2024 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: February 22, 2024, 08:32:09 PM
RedBull already has 0.5 seconds in front of other cars so for me this season is already done before beginning and this might be the first year in 2 decades when I will not watch F1 simply because of this essential factor of " NO COMPETITION". They should already give the title to Max , jump this season and give us the 2025 season because if the last one was boring to watch , imagine how this one will be where Redbull has 0.5 seconds while they also sandbagging on settings , tyres , aerodynamics and so on ... Angry
Usually I don't like to make such conclusions from testing, but this time it looks that's difficult to expect changes from previous season. There will be Max racing in his own league and all others fighting to become best of the rest.
Still going to watch it, hardly can imagine myself not watching F1 after so many years.
294  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano X Circus (Battery, Recover and more) on: February 22, 2024, 08:18:34 PM
Considering that the Nano X has two times more vertical pixels than the Nano S, numbers and letters should appear slightly better so I think your Nano X screen is suffering from dimming/fading issues [it's more common with the Nano S screen, but few users have also reported such issues with their Nano X devices].
Yeah, it looks like there is dimming/fading issue, it feelsvlike letters/numbers displayed on screen have shadows what makes it hard to read. Then when I take Nano S to my hands, it feels like it have 4K screen resolution Cheesy.

And one minor thing - their original USB cable is so short that makes use of wallet very inconvenient.
Maybe the cable that is standard for the Nano X is shorter than the one for the S model. Perhaps they have different cables and you were simply unlucky enough to get the shorter one. Still, how long do you need it to be? Its only purpose is to connect your hardware wallet to a laptop or computer. It doesn't need to be long.

When I compare my Nano S cable to the one I got when I bought my Trezor One, it's like 4 times longer. But I am satisfied with both.
I think they used to send regular length cable with Nano S and now sending short cables with all Nano X.
My PC is located under my table, so Nano X cable is way too short to use it convenient. Regular 1 m. cable would be enough for me.

Trezor also has super short cables, so maybe they are competing who is going to make the shortest one  Tongue
I don't know what other hardware wallet manufacturers are packing, but for USB-C connections it should be easy to just use same cables from smartphones.
Seems that's just another way of cost savings that helps to maximize profits. And you always can buy longer overpriced cable from official website of manufacturer Cheesy.
At least all these cables is universal thing and you always can use cable from smartphone - I guess we all have more than enough these things.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: February 21, 2024, 09:52:35 PM
I know that before game I said that draw wouldn't be bad for Barca, but after we saw how dull Napoli looked for 75 minutes, they made 0 shots target until Osimhen scored goal. And after that Napoli face changed completely, they dominated and were not so far away even from winning game.

Some 0-0 games can be exciting and interesting to watch but god damn this Porto - Arsenal game has to be one of the most boring R16 matches played in the champions league in years.. lol.
Saw this game in background onbsecond screen. It didn't looked exciting atvall, but this can be said about so many Champions league knockout stage games.

EDIT Damn, what an ending, just perfect goal from Galeno.
296  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano X Circus (Battery, Recover and more) on: February 21, 2024, 09:05:31 PM
I have Nano X wallet for more than a year, got it for free from one promotion. Haven't used it much, but can say few words about it. Not going to talk about whole their company, just about device.
What I unlike most about it is screen. It's bigger than on Nano S, but I don't like it at all. Letters and numbers displayed on it is so unclear that makes it so hard to read. I almost failed to write down recovery see because of it. When I took Nano S wallet to my hands, difference is is huge. Screen is smaller, but text is displayed perfectly and it's easy to read.
Another thing is error related with battery, but as I understand it's related with that I barely used that wallet and battery got drained out fully.
And one minor thing - their original USB cable is so short that makes use of wallet very inconvenient.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: February 21, 2024, 07:00:33 PM
much more interesting day today, with two home teams that will try to hold their ground against a bit favored opponents
who will succeed, Napoli or Porto, to do that

IMO, Napoli stand a chance to get at least a draw against Barcelona, but Arsenal had two away matches finished with 0:5 in EPL, and Porto will have a hard job to avoid lose tonight

I refrain from predicting Napoli - Barca game, but despite how bad Barca is looking now, I still want to believe in our win, though, draw probably wouldn't be bad result for us.
Porto - Arsenal, usually I don't understimate Portuguese teams, but this time Arsenal is big favorite, they're really scary right now, while Porto is just meh.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: February 20, 2024, 09:55:21 PM
Interesting moment with penalty in PSV - Dortmund game. Hummels played into ball and only then went into opponents leg, but penalty was given. It was quite harsh contact, probably this is why penalty was given.

I also find the BTTS quotes in the Inter - Atletico game strange: 2.0. Taking into account the fact that Atletico scores a lot and concedes a lot, I thought that they would be much more modest, like 1.6-1.8.
I couldn't resist from making BTTS bet, but got burned. Atletico games is high scoring one's, but mostly in La Liga against mediacore teams. When it comes to CL, today we saw most typical Atletico under Simeone. Though, their defence wasn't great at all, Inter and Arnautovic just wasted chances and only scored once.
299  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FixedFloat has been hacked (26M $) on: February 20, 2024, 08:26:58 PM
Another day - another exchange got hacked. I think I've never heard their name before and it's nothing surprising as it's relatively small exchange. Seems that they didn't put their heads into sand and trying to communicate, that's at least some positive sign. Will be interesting to follow how things will developp further.

I've used them about 4 times since the beginning of this year, everything was fast and good, it's unfortunate to see them stop working. Smiley
I think, is a small exchnage with about $10 million, but $26 million is not an easy matter to compensate, and most likely the government agencies that will deal with them will demand more stringency regarding customer data.

So I think it will be the last time I will use them (if they come back), even though my experience with them was good.
Yeah, it's small exchange, but still, $26 million is huge money, no idea how they're going to compensate it. And for scammers it's more than enough money to retire, but probably they're not going to do it.
