2901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: April 11, 2017, 06:26:10 PM
Superstition can sometimes make the gamblers expect on the second or third time that they would still win because of what happened to them during the first time
Always do not look for positive aspects alone. Due to just following superstitions, gamblers may face extra losses instead of stopping gambling at right times. You cannot bring your luck through superstition that is the point we need to consider here.

When gambling works well with luck and superstition may or may not work for bringing luck, we cannot be sure about it.
2902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Inspiration on: April 11, 2017, 05:41:56 PM
I'm very curious on what are on the mind of Gamblers during he is gambling. I want to know if a Gambler are thinking something/someone as an inspiration to win on gambling. Because gambling with purpose was the really way to have fun. I only list some few options because that was my inspirations i used on my past experience. You are free to suggest or share yours if it was not listed to the choices.  Cheesy
Whenever I do check the leaderboard, I just want to imitate some successful people, but all that comes after that I faced only losses.

Inspiring by some big profits and achievers is not working for good in gambling as per my experience. Because those people have performed well due to their lack and we could not imitate same level of luck while we're gambling.
2903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: April 11, 2017, 05:01:26 PM
Worst mistake in gambling is thinking you can recover your losses with increasing bet amounts until you're broke.

Thats not the worst mistake. The worst mistake is to love everything then just to realize that you have did something wrong. I have ever been in that kind of position that is why I am now only doing it for fun. I dont really think that people should increase their wager amount however most people like to take bigger risk
I disagree, I think following your losses and trying to recover with bigger risks is deadlier.
I mean that is if you can’t afford losing your risks. If you are wealthy and following your losses and losing even more while you try to recover is not a big issue if you are rich enough to lose but if you are not that is the worst mistake.
2904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: April 11, 2017, 04:42:23 PM
i don't know how other people feel about gambling but it is very important for me. relaxing, earn some pocket money and make me feel happy  Grin
yeah many people feel relaxing with gambling because gambling is for fun , entertainment and i think gambling can give us money and there is many people earning in gambling.
Yes, I too play for entertainment and not “get rich quick” type of way but that is basically as same as playing with emotions. You guys are basically saying the same thing but using different words. Playing it for recovering a loss is an emotion not fun or entertainment.

When you will be using only faucets and killing your time through gambling, you may find the real purposes of gambling, then gambling will never remain as wrong one.
2905  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: April 11, 2017, 01:13:47 PM
there may be time to get out of trading, when the price rose to a high bitcoin. Well, it never hurts to stop trading for a while. but, when you quit for good, I think it will only make you lose, especially when you have an expert in such matters.

Quitting for good is your decision. Theres no guarantee in trading. We all know that trading is like gambling and also risky. If you dont know what coin you are holding better prepare yourself to be rekt and get hurt.
i do not think that trading is as risky as gambling. to me i think gambling is more risky than trading. in trading we use our skill and experience while in gambling we mostly depend of our luck.
yeah trading is really not risky because people are earning bitcoin in good amount through trading because bitcoin price is going to higher value and a lot of people buying bitcoin with low price and then hold it for high price .
I don’t think trading is too risky either myself but I can see why one might want to stop after a while and use what they’ve earned. Although if I understand correctly he initially had 7 BTC more than he does now?

Well, anyway if I were the OP I would take half of that and convert it into his local fiat currency in order to be prepared for anything that happens to bitcoin. The rest I would invest and see what happens, or maybe buy something with it.
2906  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Manipulations on: April 11, 2017, 07:33:32 AM
all trading platform is have big money can manipulate price
you can see in real trading in valas, big boys banker always manipulation price, or you see about george soros, he is rich only manipulation fiat curency in the world
I agree with you that people who have very much money so they can do anything. including manipulating prices in all sectors of the trade.
But how long ?  manipulations will not sustain for days. Market will get stabilised over time. To hold market at the manipulated levels they need massive amounts of money which will not be possible for days. We cannot do anything about manipulations but we need to keep our cool mindset when seeing sudden bump or dump scenarios, if we do get panic or greedy we might get trapped by those manipulations.

There are many restrictions for individual accounts like the volume one account holder can deposit/withdraw per day basis but when group of people getting into manipulations, we cannot do anything about it literally.
2907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a bot for trading? on: April 10, 2017, 05:47:36 PM
No i do not use a bot when I'm trading because i think it's much safer if i trade instead using a bot. I think bots are less effective when i use it in trading, so it's better if i do the trading. And I'm always active so i will really do the trading.
There are some significant advantages of using bots, I like to suggest to check with them. Like bots are capable of analyzing markets round the clock. When we are sure about one trading bots, it will be equivalent to you got some employees to make money for you. But it will not be that much easier to have such bots, but just imagine how it will be good when your are having some people working for you  Cheesy

There are few bots in market which will do 90% of your trading works automatically and only final decision will be yours. Once you decide and finalize, it will do the rest of 10% works to get you profits.
Theoretically I think a bot could work. Designing it would be difficult though. You would have to either have a complicated enough algorithm to deal with all the changes and different scenarios or only make it activated for a small subset of cases.

It does sound like an intriguing idea to me. I haven’t been able to make or use one but I think that would be an awesome idea. It would just take a very smart person to deal with all the variables there would be.
2908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blockfolio ~Bitcoin and Altcoin Portfolio App~ Android and iOS on: April 10, 2017, 02:20:15 PM
Great app, but I have two questions. Maybe I just can't find it, but is it possible to have two different Portfolios? I'd like to have one for long Term and one for short Term trades. Other Thing, is it possible to display the prices in BTC?

Thank you
I think you can have two accounts?
It is not against ToS as far as I see, maybe it is a more difficult way to do it but you can definetly start an account with a long term holdings and you can start another account with short term holdings, that way you can check them both. Definetly looks doable but someone else might help you with two portfolios in one account.

I haven’t seen this on poloniex, which exchanges has creditbit as tradable?

Also what is needed to be on poloniex this is god knows how many times I have seen a good coin that will take off but wasn’t on poloniex .That kinda makes me feel like not going for the coin, I don’t want to change my exchange in order to buy a coin.
2910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: bitcoin dice casinos. Is it profitable to have such casino? on: April 06, 2017, 06:29:14 PM
I think it's great that some people still want to invest in casinos in the bitcoin space. I think the bitcoin casino is still a green field and we are far from it being cornered, still big possibilities to do a good job if you offer an edge against the competition.
Already we do see some gambling sites are coming up with zero house edge (but they will use some specialized tokens instead of bitcoin or fiats), so not just house edge I believe the new gambling sites need to revolutionize the gambler's experience to make a hit.

Still, I too believe there would be more possibilities for new sites to make decent profits as this forum has lot of promotion methods to make use of.
2911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: April 06, 2017, 06:07:20 PM
I don't think you can really tell. Even if they fair they might not pay out a big win. It's best to go with gambling sites with a good reputation. This is not to say never give a new site a chance. Just don't spend big money at a new site. If you a high roller take it to a reputable casino.
I guess we never need to worry about new gambling site when they are having active support through this forum.

But like you said, we should not take chances with big winning with the new sites because admin may take decisions to go with the big amount of bitcoins instead of maintaining their reputation in this forum. These are all just precautions, but when we are choosing always going with a reputed gambling site must be a better practice.
2912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2017 and WHY !!! on: April 06, 2017, 04:08:56 PM
I think it might be radium, they are returning back and doing some marketing and providing material and have some new promotions and campaigns. Which would only mean there will be an upward movement this year.

Anything more than an activeness means it will go up in my book. Any other constantly active coin you guys know about I can check?
2913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRBIT] Creditbit Hybrid POS/POW | x11 | 1min blocks | 100M CRBIT on: April 06, 2017, 03:49:07 PM
Does anyone know how to lock your creditbits, for POS,  in Mist/ethereum?

https://www.creditbit.org/tokenGuide.html

See under the "LOCKING" tab, it's all explained there with pictures Wink

Yeah all there i lock my for 12 months! I like 12% 👍🏼

Thank you guys, however when I want to lock I have to choose "execute from" but I cannot choose my main account there there, why??
Try to clear your cache, clear you cookies and try again, maybe it got stuck on the last update and is not moving forward.

If that is not the case and you are still having problems after trying that, try to reach the support, they might be more helpful .
2914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YoBit.Net - CRYPTOCURRENCY EXCHANGE & MultiCoin DICE - Free Coins every 1-24 hrs on: April 06, 2017, 03:04:00 PM
I have been trying to withdraw Decred for over a week now but the wallet says it is Under Maintenance. From other posts in this forum it appears that the wallet has been down since January. About 50% of my coins which I have got from faucets are also "Under Maintenance". My messages to support and PMs to the admin have been completely ignored. This site is a scam.

If I have this problem, I sell the coin transfer to DOGE and withdraw to another exchange and buy the coins back again (hoping to make some arbitrage in the middle), not a great solution but it may at least help you get your money out. I had the same issue with my EGC
That comes with the exchange fee costs and extra withdrawal fee tough, they should do their job and if they accept deposit than they should accept withdrawals as well. If they fail to do one they should fail to do both.
Otherwise its just fishy sounding stuff to me to make people go around a loop hole in order to withdraw.
2915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Bter.com [Android App] [Deposit BTSX Now!][Tweets by @btercom] on: April 06, 2017, 02:14:22 PM
I can’t find an answer for the DOGE question. If there is a withdrawal limit but if you can exchange it to doge and take out than how is that a way of limiting?
I think they are just aiming at small fish instead of whale . That is a new way of approach I don’t know how that is a good business operation.
2916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Steemit.com: Blogging is the new Mining on: April 06, 2017, 01:54:52 PM
It is definitely buy time again, reading the charts you can see that the dumpers have moved on to new coins after selling out.

Now it is time to get in before all the marketing efforts and PR moves executed, that way you can ride the wave of all new marketing related stuff that gets more buzz around this coin. As long as the core team keeps active I don’t think I will move on from this coin.
2917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you think , better time for trading ? on: April 06, 2017, 09:55:58 AM
Suddenly trends are changing currently bitcoin prices are up surging and altcoins finding their downfall. Bitcoin again proving itself is a good instrument for trading, just in 10 days time span bitcoin prices showed price moment of $250+ which must be very good rally for traders.

I believe they could not find the any other better time for trading bitcoin than what they are getting right now. Bitcoin again finding its top place with traders' portfolio by its highly lengthy fluctuations yet easily predictable.
I agree bitcoin fluctuations are easily predictable as usually it will bounce back from any bottom it will go. When we are very much sure about bitcoin's potential then we can easily predict it to get a higher value in quick time itself.

I'm not sure how altcoin markets will react for the next 2 to 3 days with the respect to bitcoin's recent up surge.
2918  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: April 06, 2017, 07:36:49 AM
Learning from mistakes and from that not repeating same mistakes must be very important practice every trader must follow. The trading experts are continuously emphasizing about keep on learning in trading career.

When losses are frequently happening as part of trading and making trader's disappointed, we should be knowledge enough to avoid same type of losses again and again.
Yes in forex trading, I do find losses occurring in news hours. Once I find this fact, I learned not to trade in peak news hours.

Because my technical analysis is not capable of withstanding the fluctuations market will show during news hours. To avoid the continuous disappointment, I finally take a decision to close positions just before news hours.

I believe I have learned how to tackle the fluctuations of Forex trading somewhat. From that I believe I have avoided the disappointments.
2919  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: April 06, 2017, 06:32:28 AM
My trading strategy was very typical and normal action as a traders in the exchange platform. Just all I wanna do is when the price crashing down for me its time to sell and then if I know the coins is getting up that's the right time for me to buy, but this things I did need a a quick action just like as bot or more fast than a bot. Because I applied day trading, but you can also do long term trading just set buy wall and sell wall, its simple as that. Cheesy
I just wonder how you will be sure that prices will get crashed down or will get appreciated ? I believe this is what every traders will be looking to make use of it in their trading.

I guess it will not be that much easier to predict accurately. We need to have any special tools for predicting it that will be capable to support this strategy. Also, quick action is always the needed one before prices are jumping up or down.
2920  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it still worth it to trade? on: April 06, 2017, 05:45:50 AM
Trading is still profitable and a nice source of income if you have the capital, the knowledge and the patience to do it. The thing is, for trading you cannot expect high returns immediately, but 3-5% a day is the best you can get out of your capital if you played your cards well.
Yes trading is one of the most profitable source of income as of now because both bitcoin and altcoin are doing good and their price was in a mode of you can play with and you get profit. 3-5% is a minimum for me because i can reach up to 10-20% of profit from my capital but it is risky and if you want to be safe then you can stick to 3-5% only.
I have seen some traders are making profits up to 50% of their capital within a day itself. But that will not be possible on daily basis, only when bitcoin is showing big price movements it will be possible. Still, there are traders they are making consistently 5% returns with their bitcoin and altcoin trading.

When we are good in technical analysis and having multiple strategies, I guess it will be possible.
