301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin End Goal on: December 29, 2017, 07:01:52 AM
What is your Bitcoin End Goal?

Is it to get billionaire by it? Or to use bitcoin for all your transactions one day?
These are just two examples, not the only choices of course.

Share what is your End Goal with bitcoin?

Hi there shamzblueworld! I think there is no end goal of using bitcoins, for me bitcoins is slowly becoming a usual fiat. Most electronic transaction could possibly accept bitcoin as a payment, thus I could always use bitcoin in my day to day tasks. However, as of the moment; I have just own an ample amount of bitcoins, thus one of my goal is to at least own one bitcoin as a reserve and one bitcoin that could circle around in exchange and another one for a day to day transaction.   Wink
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: December 29, 2017, 06:25:07 AM
actually i want to know there is a possibility have to hack this supper e-money, because somebody hack it will be a huge effect for the economy.
pls give your valuable opinion. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

Hi there warunacrypto! First of all Bitcoin it self cannot be hacked, the system is interconnected to each other that it is near impossible to hack all those computer altogether at the same time. What can be hacked is the individual miner that are run and manage by small scale set of computers. There is also mining pool that managed all the mined bitcoin like NiceHash, which involved in a hack issue later this year. Another one is the wallet that store the bitcoins of individuals, like what happen in Mt. Gox several years ago. The effect of those hacked slows specially the later dips the bitcoin price.  Wink

303  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to choose the right exchange? on: December 28, 2017, 08:21:59 AM
What exchange do you buy/sell your cryptos? What is the best? How have you chosen the one you use?

Hi there Bit4UTeam! There are different strengths, weaknesses and features of exchange to be considered before one could tell which is the right or not preferred. Based on fee, I personally prefer cex.io it offers the lowest fee than others, and the more you trade the more the fee could go lower. Another one I prefer is bitrex, it consist of several coins that you could possibly trade. If you are looking for a coin that is new to the market you could found it there. And lastly bitfinex, it always top in the bitcoin volume trading.  Wink

304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN vs ETH ? Your thoughts? on: December 28, 2017, 08:03:31 AM
BITCOIN vs ETH ? your thoughts ?

Hi there acmagbanua21! I see both coins have positive and negative, but overall they both perform well and people invested much on those both coins compare to others. Ethereum have manage to overcome the limitation of bitcoin in terms of the number of coins that could be mined, thus in the future the Eth could be traded more volume that the bitcoin. However, the law of supply and demand plays a vital role in pricing, the more the supply, the lesser the price. The advantage of Eth is backstabbing it self in terms of price, thus bitcoin is still considered the winner at the moment, in terms of price, volume and people preferences.  Wink
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin is better than other coins? on: December 28, 2017, 07:04:11 AM
It has slow transactions and the fees are high, and it is the cryptocurrency frontier.

What do you think will realistically will take Bitcoins nr1 spot in the future? Bitcoin Cash maybe?  Huh

Hi there Crypto Piece! For me the king of all the cryptocurrency is Bitcoin. Bitcoins started it all, thus it could also be called the god father of them all. Bitcoin become the pioneer and the most widely accepted crypto in this era, thus it is consider the de-facto standard. However, since it is the first one, anyone could say that it has limitation, and those limitation is solved by other crypto. But those alternative coins could not be called the most better because for the mere fact that without bitcoin those other crypto may not exist at all.  Wink
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: December 28, 2017, 06:47:48 AM
Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth?

Hi there Bit4UTeam! Yes, social media could greatly influence the growth of bitcoin. The power of social media could drive new user of cryptocurrency which could lead to another investor and participant in the new technology of blockchain. Those influencer that new investor watch in the youtube channel could then be lure to invest in the coin that the youtuber is endorsing. Social Media is also the gateway of most ICO that is just starting their journey in crypto. And lastly, there are the trading platform, which uses social media to advertise and catch new user of their platform.  Wink
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Сryptocurrency Phobia - new social phenomenon on: December 28, 2017, 06:28:02 AM
The more various opinions I hear about Cryptocurrency, the more I realize that there is a new kind of phobic hysteria, which appears literally about everything related to Сryptocurrency, e.g. mining, trading, ICOs or lending.
In some cases people provide interesting groundings concerning Cryptocurrency risks and instability.
But in many cases their negative conclusions simply sound like: scam, deception and other "demonizing" statements.
I think this phenomenon spreads around fairly fast.
What's your opinion about it?

Hi there Thadeous! First of all, you got a nice tread title in there, can’t imagine there could be a phobia about cryptocurrency. Anyway, I think there is no specific name for that kind of phobia but as you said due to the rapid changes bought by the cryptocurrency there are people that are hardly to catchup. There are people that are doing illegal acts and taking advantage of this technology, but on the other hand this technology teaches us to be more self-aware, be fast, be vigilant and face the possible ups and down that makes us more prepare in this technological era.  Wink
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Americans Are Taking Out Mortgages to Buy Bitcoin on: December 28, 2017, 06:12:09 AM
People are taking out mortgages to buy bitcoin, says securities regulator Joseph Borg. Coupled with accounts of credit cards and equity loans being used to obtain bitcoin, it raises the possibility of risk-taking investors being left deeply indebted or potentially even homeless..

But if Joseph Borg is correct, such cases are no longer isolated, and the higher bitcoin climbs, the greater the risk credit-takers face. Mortgages and equity aren’t the only means by which people have been scrambling to free up funds for bitcoin: major sites such as Coinbase accept credit card payments..

So long as bitcoin keeps rising, buyers can pay off their monthly credit card debt with their profits. Bitcoin has proven extremely resilient this year, shaking off negative news such as a Chinese cryptocurrency exchange crackdown without much fuss..

It would be ironic if the digital currency’s rise – and subsequent fall – was to take a bite out of the banks due to a credit craze fueled by bitcoin. Do you think people should be taking out credit to buy bitcoin?.

Hi there mybtcasset! In my own opinion, one who have a high trust in bitcoin would do anything just to ride in the technology. With the historical data, friend and relatives opinion and experience. The could be more and more people who will jump in and spend a lot of money in bitcoin and wishing for a return of investment within a quarter. However, it is a risk that they are takin into, we all know that not most of the time the price is going upwards, there are times that the price stay low, just like several weeks ago until now. Thus if the bank is asking you for payment and the investment is not making money, it could lead to much larger debt.  Wink

309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: December 28, 2017, 05:53:54 AM
We all know that Bitcoin is one of the best ways to invest your money. However, we know that Satoshi wanted to change money as we know it rather than new investment model.

How do you think, will we be using bitcoin as payment system? Or it will stay as it is and this bubble blow up one day?  Undecided

And how do you see it's future?

Hi there aleksandra_kickcity! There are growing number of establishment that accept bitcoin as payment in their products or services. But one of the problem they face is the fact that, people prefer to hoard coins that to use it on daily transaction like buying a pizza or clothes online. The reason behind is the volatility in price. Once the price is stabled enough, or people are accustomed to the price change and start to use their coins, the time will came that each store is accepting bitcoins as how they accept visa and master card  in their stores.  Wink

310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Optimistic for 2018? on: December 28, 2017, 03:37:28 AM

The year is about to end in some days from now and we can be facing 2018 with some determination and joyful heart. We are all hoping that 2018 will be a much better year for our finances because Bitcoin will continue its strength surging ahead carrying the flag of cryptocurrency to greater heights never seen before. There will always be problems, challenges and threats but at the same there will be more opportunities and new ways and means to make our dreams come true.

At the rate of 1 (being the lowest) and 10 (being the highest), how optimistic are you for the coming new year 2018?

Hi there CryptoBry! 10! Yes, I am very optimistic that the year 2018 will be a great year for bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency era. 2018 will mark the new all time high price of bitcoin and other alt coins. Due to the steps done by CME and CBOE, people specially the stock investors and traders will have a legal step to trade bitcoins. However, there could be drawbacks like the recent new Tax reforms and the continuous and unstoppable number of new ICO that divided the people from several coins. But at the end, I am very sure that bitcoin will still the leader of this year crypto.   Wink
311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin so expensive? on: December 27, 2017, 06:02:43 AM
Bitcoin is so expensive if it will be converted to my country's currency it will cost hundred of thousands.
Why bitcoin worth that much even its only a cryptocurrency can someone give me an idea.

Hi there Raffy11! First of all, in what country you are living? I have visited countries that a dollar when converted to local money amounted to a hundred of local money. Your country could have a low fiat exchange rate thus the bitcoin conversion follows. One thing that could help is just use a single app that is popular in your country so that when you are sending or receiving bitcoins from friends the cost is almost zero and the transaction speed in almost in instant.    Wink
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ate you going to spend or save you bitcoin? on: December 27, 2017, 05:26:54 AM
•Are going to spend or save bitcoin?

•Whats the roght thing to do? When in earning bitcoin?

I watched a man that his videos are always one minute and saying in the end thats one minute!

His Video was about bitcoin opening a shop next to a trading company.

Topic was people have a problem when earning more and more. The propper use was earn as you spend

•What do you think is propper and the right thing to do?

Hi there TaKlarPH! It could be better if you share the link of the video you have watched. You are correct by the motion that “earn as you spend”, but most of the bitcoin holders earn more and spend little aside from this week which I think they are mostly cashing out their revenues. In my spending attitude, I mostly spend below 50% of what I earn due to the fact that bitcoin is a massive snowball. The more you have it the more chances of you are getting more.   Wink
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wihch crypto should i buy? on: December 27, 2017, 05:10:08 AM
Research, research and research...and then make your choice.

As already written, don't listen too much to people advices

BTW I've bought ADA and DeepOnion...I've bought them some weeks ago, then some days ago that they are pretty high I
cash some ADA and ONION to cover my initial investment and now I'm going to hodling the remaining Wink!

Good luck!

Hi there MuRrCoin! Based on your opinion and research I think you have already bought ADA and DeepOnion., Those two coins is good based on my reading and have a good potential of making at the top spot of crypto charts. However, if you want and immediate income from your investment, you could check other alt coins that are near to skyrocket soon. But for as a bitcoin loyalist, I would advise to buy some bitcoin now when the price is still low, and you could have been more profitable than other alt coins.  Wink
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fails on all 6 objective measures on: December 27, 2017, 04:52:29 AM
Hi there freightjoe! Let me answer your points one by one because in some point you are correct but mostly some of your answer or reason is not quite true, maybe you just skipped reading some articles.

Bitcoin is a store of value - no

If it can’t store value why do it have a value more than a dollar? Because more people saw a great value on it.

Bitcoin is a better payment tool - no

It depends on the situation, dealing online and to a company or person that accept bitcoin is more transparent than fiat. It’s payment ledger is accessible, so you have a concrete proof of payment.

Bitcoin is an investment asset - no
Nope! Maybe you have to purchase a bitcoin and see the interest it occurs versus your bank interest rate.

Bitcoin is community driven - no

Big no! why? You are even one of the member of the millions of people that visit and read articles about bitcoin. Lol

Bitcoin is for the poor - no

Nah! Bitcoin should be for the poor, so someday their alms could be ten times bigger and could provide them necessary things to live.  Wink
315  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Wallet without transaction fee on: December 27, 2017, 04:36:01 AM
Hi,

Can anyone suggest me best Bitcoin Wallet without transaction fee

Thanks

Hi there aaadam006! I never encountered a bitcoin wallet without transaction fee. However, if you are dealing with sending and receiving bitcoins from a friend or family, I would suggest that you should use the same wallet. I mean if you are using coinbase, send your bitcoin to your friends coinbase bitcoin address, it is absolutely free of charge, it is the same way if you received bitcoins. As I experience, transaction fee occurs if the bitcoin will exit to the company circulation and will be transfer to another bitcoin wallet company.  Wink

316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: December 27, 2017, 04:16:34 AM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

Hi there bubblebit! I hope you have read the news about famous US universities that offer cryptocurrency classes, but not specifically just all about bitcoin. The class is all about the technology including the different encryption types, the network layers and the blockchain technology and others. I think what most country do in terms of education programs is it follows some set of rules from the government and other educational standards thus they can’t just offer new courses which is based from popularity, especially if some country have prohibit the technology.  Wink

317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the bitcoin holder dies on: December 26, 2017, 05:45:06 PM
Dear team

I need to know that if a bitcoin holder dies with 100btc. Then what happended to btc ? Useless
If family member knows no problem. What if not

Hi there udayantha11! You got a point in there. If a man with a bank account dies and no one withdraw his money in the bank until to the point the bank close his account, the money will go directly to the bank. In the case of bitcoin, when the bitcoin is stored in an online wallet and the wallet provider notice that the bitcoin is never been touch or no activity from the user for about so many year. I think the wallet company will acquire the bitcoins. And for the lesson, be sure that one of your family or relatives knew that you have bitcoins.  Wink
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: December 26, 2017, 05:09:41 PM
Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?

Hi there yellowcat1771! I prefer to make three different wallets and a offline hardware wallet so that in case of hack events happen I have still some bitcoins that could help me to recover. Oppositely, if I ever lost my hardware wallet I have still an online wallet to cover up. But what I like most in online wallet is its ability to transfer more conveniently than hardware wallet. And lastly, I never store my bitcoins in my computer fearing that when the drive goes corrupted the bitcoins come with it.  Wink

320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Uber on: December 24, 2017, 04:34:03 PM
Meanwhile, bitcoin just got integrated with Uber for tipping drivers. Isn't that a good news?

https://twitter.com/Melt_Dem/status/895466611477544960

Hi there nappoleon! That is a great idea, I just hope that the transaction fee to transfer the crypto from your wallet the Uber driver wallet is free or in a very minimal rate. Would it be nice if the Uber app it self have a feature to add tip from the driver. Or any excess from the rate will automatically be tally and count as tip, thus Uber raiders can view back their total tip given in all of their trips. Additionally, it could be better if we could add funds to Uber app through cryptocurrency.  Wink
