121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not Money, is Faith on: May 25, 2018, 08:42:03 PM
I think we should not value Bitcoin by Money, but by faith. Just hold and let it change the world.

Hi there cloud.runner! So the question is how much faith you have in bitcoin? Is it because you are always praying for the price to go up? Or is it the amount of trust you pour it in so that you wont be able to sell your possession during the low price value? I think, the end result of all are still the price. And if people talk about the price, it is not far to compare it to other currency, which is mostly the fiat. Thus, we can't set aside that bitcoin is a form of money.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: May 25, 2018, 06:13:44 PM
I am fairly new to the crypto world. During my short time, I have contemplated how crypto will go down over the next few years.

Slowly, over time more regulations will be adopted worldwide. This is not because regulators are scared that people are getting scammed, but because they will start limiting this world from us small fish so the banks and "qualified" investors can tke over. All the large banks will then push their own crypto, and we will be left with nothing.

In my opinion, it is in our best interest to gain enough profit so we will have the funds to become qualified investors, and be able to re-enter the markets through the banks exchanges.

What does everyone else think? Do you think the big fish will continue allowing us to do trading long term, or are our days numbered?

Hi there GoneRogue2018!  If you are familiar with the cryptocurrency. We have the blockchain at also lightning network helps us to have a fast transaction. This two modern technology in cryptocurrency required a fast and stable internet connection. It short as long we have internet connection cryptocurrency will infinity forever. But there one can stop it. That is the government if they ban or prohibited the cryptocurrency we cant do anything follow the rules..
123  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can change economic? on: May 25, 2018, 05:08:15 PM
We have seen Bitcoin and people's economic changes in the country. Do you know how Bitcoin is changing the economy? Do people believe that economic changes are possible by Bitcoin? And what will be the impact of Bitcoin economics in the future?

Hi there Anamika143! I thought this is Miss universe question and answer portion oh I am sorry. So my answer to your question. Bitcoin can change the economy, but there are advantages and disadvantages. The advantages people can earn money on the bitcoin, if people are a lot of money, they will spend it. If they spend the money, they're a tax on every they transaction. Bitcoin help the economy to reduce unemployed. Disadvantages to economy if a lot of people put their money on the bitcoin more than banks their is chance to disappear the bank. If the people use the bitcoin as tool money laundering..

124  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Money or Currency on: May 25, 2018, 04:13:40 PM
mon·ey (noun)

- a current medium of exchange in the form of coins and banknotes; coins and banknotes collectively.
---

cur·ren·cy read as ˈkərənsē (noun)

-a system of money in general use in a particular country.

So, is bitcoin money or currency?

Hi there magic ice! Everyone thinks the bitcoin is money. Some think it is a currency. But the real truth is bitcoin can both money and currency. As long we use the bitcoin as a form of payment it could be money. As long we hold and keep the bitcoin in our wallet. It can be a currency because the bitcoin has a value anytime the value change. Similar to gold but the different is gold can’t use paying the bills we need to convert it. Gold is currency for your information
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Crypto currencies make local currencies disappear? on: May 25, 2018, 03:30:47 PM
Competition between local currencies Vs crypto currencies are in peak now. Crypto currencies have occupied currency market causing local currencies enforce (banks) banning of crypto currencies. We can see number of investors have turned towards to bitcoin and other crypto currencies with large scale. Will there be a chance / time bitcoin and other crypto currencies rule over currency market and local currencies get disappear slowly in a decade or two?

Hi there maarx! I genuinely believe that cryptocurrency can't disappear the local currencies known as paper money because not all person on this world don’t have knowledge about the potential of cryptocurrency and not all stores, hotel and restaurant acknowledge the cryptocurrency as a form of payment. On this generation we have three types of payment the first is the local currency second is the credit or debit card and the last is digital currency know as cashless payment..
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: May 24, 2018, 05:30:06 PM
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

Hi there brawdias! How can you tell that bitcoin failed as a currency? Just because you use bitcoin as investment it defy its whole purpose as a digital currency. Do you know that if bitcoin is not traded it could be on the graveyard today. Trading bitcoin is one of the driving force that makes bitcoin price high and low. It is because the supply and demand in the market which makes the value of bitcoin raises. Have you exactly knew that even the dollars or fiat are traded and they are called forex. Again, in that way the price of each currency could be determine.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bing planning to bring their own crypto?? on: May 24, 2018, 04:52:58 PM
Like Facebook, Bing has also banned all the ads of crypto currency. Are they planning to brings their own coin in the industry like Facebook did?

Hi there CryptoRaymond! I suppose they wont. Those are the most common misconception about blockchain. When a certain company have announce that they are exploring the blockchain system, most of the people will then think of an ICO is on its way. Sooner, that company will offer airdrops of their coin and do some further advertisement to attract more investors. But the blockchain could be use in many things not just in the digital currency. Its open ledger and decentralize approach could help those search engine to deliver the user requested content in a more faster way.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SCAM! on: May 24, 2018, 04:34:48 PM
I was invited by a friend of a friend to invest in Bitcoin last year. He told me that if I invest 5000 in our currency it will be doubled in a month's time. He also promised me that I will get referral fees and override from every person I introduced to Bitcoin and that prices of Bitcoin are expected to increase. To make the story short I did not join because I believe its a pyramiding scam. Truth to be told I did my research on Bitcoin after that and it turn's out that Bitcoin's price was really on rise unfortunately I did not invest at that time. Currently I'm learning more thru this forum and I thank my friend for inviting me here. Just last December I heard from one of my friends that the company they joined was in fact a pyramiding scam and the money they invested in just vanished out of thin air together with the people who invited them. We should be wary of people offering investments and opportunities to us. Do your research. Opportunity comes with risks as well as the rewards. If its too good to be true, it might be a scam. Bitcoin is not a SCAM but there are people who uses Bitcoin to SCAM other people. Good luck to us and more power to Bitcoin!

Hi there smith4cris! How come there is a "referral fees" when one is cashing out to bought bitcoin. You just install an wallet like coinbase, buy a bitcoin on you own using credit card and once the bitcoin price increase you could accumulate revenue. But if there is a group of people who work like a ponzi, then it could be a potential scam. Bitcoin it self is not scam, it is a form of a volatile currency. A properly oriented person who research and understand bitcoin will not fall into those schemes.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoin Artwork, What do you think? on: May 23, 2018, 04:37:49 PM
Hi there Crypto vs Metals! That is a good piece of art. You are very good at art. I see there are talented people here in the forum that sell their art for bitcoins. There are even like a goldsmith which custom made a bitcoin physical coin and notes and place it on auction. Just like other have said, it could be better to place it in the right section to gain more interest. I just wondering what do monero and dash doing at the side.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Scam - No more on: May 23, 2018, 03:47:24 PM
Hi there Boomerang Capital! After the consensus I think most of the people will start to think of bitcoin as a true investment. Although it is still not clear, and a panel from consensus told that regulators are still thinking about the future of bitcoin. But recently, there are activities that sprouted to clean most of the fraudulent or suspicious ico. I think after that, the road will be more clearer and new bitcoin investor will flocking again.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PLAYSTORE and APPSTORE!! on: May 22, 2018, 04:49:40 PM
We are into gadgets, most of the people are addict on it.
We spent more of our vacant time facing our Cellphones and Ipads.

Playing games and downloading some apps on the store require payments, Is this the best time for those stores to open their payment method with cryptocurrency specially Bitcoin?

Hi there ivanst776! Yes, I agree with that. Those two stores have managed to use local currency of its users. So giving an option to pay using bitcoin is not a hard task for them. But I think the hard part is how to liquidate those earning if the bitcoin price is continuously moving or so volatile. Accounting could have a hard time doing their job due to imbalances. But if there is a company that will go in middle that will accept bitcoin and convert it immediately to cash and pay to apple and google then there could be no problem.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin fees will NEVER come down on: May 22, 2018, 03:55:55 PM
think about it if you were a miner, and have learnt that you can charge XXX for transaction why would you be happy to again charge just one X?
It is certain the more popular coins will increase costs to catch up with bitcoin, as opposed to bitcoin lowering .
Developers are already being pressured to behave in ways that I dare not repeat.

Hi there treer123! Im with you by that; I am frequent sender and receiver of bitcoin thru different wallet. One thing that I notice to one of my wallet is that the transaction fee is going higher and higher. On the other hand, another wallet have lower its fee since February. That is why I am asking to other users, do this wallet company is just adding a transaction fee? Do the people who confirm the transaction get all the fees of there is a large cut that goes to this wallet company. Bitcoin is suppose to cut the cost of transaction by cutting middleman. But in these case, I think a middleman is just establishing up again.
133  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Bitcoin Change your life. on: May 22, 2018, 03:34:30 PM
Firstly , the payment system changed significantly.
Secondly, it attracts more and more people towards the crypto world.
Then it skyrocketed its value as high as $20,000.
Banks and major financial institutions are envy about it, they try to bring it down.
It has much influence on our life, good or bad.
What do you think ?

Hi there Jasper Dudong! Bitcoin change my life thru different things. It gives me the attitude to face the fear. At first I am very hesitant to believe in bitcoin, but after several years it booms a lot. After that, I then study bitcoin and its benefits, then said to my self. If I have started earlier, the savings I have saved could be thousand of dollar by now. But bitcoin also help me to be cautious, not all the time is a good time, there are also bad times. I mean, using cryptocurrency to send and received money could be more cost saving only if the transaction fee is low.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin down, what will happen? on: May 21, 2018, 03:25:41 PM
seeing bitcoin prices go down and up, I'm a bit frightened to buy bitcoin at the moment, I judge I could lose, do you think, whether bitcoin prices can continue to go down, or even rise high?

Hi there Ziaderi33! Relax my friend, you dont need to suffer from heart attack due to the volatility of bitcoin price. It is normal, and most of the people have used to it. The best thing is, if you are a trader you will wish that the price will huge enough to generate an income. Experts have said that the bitcoin price will go beyond its all time high last year. And that is what it used to be. Bitcoin price increases year by year, just wait sit back and relax.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ? on: May 21, 2018, 01:34:21 PM
I love bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I feel more comfortable doing so and will do whatever that I can to support it. Now tell me how can I work with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies? Although it is illegal in my country.

Apologies if this is not the right place to discuss.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there Farhan786! What country are you from? There are types of government ban to cryptocurrencies. Some have just place a ban on ICO, some place a ban on mining, while others ban for trading, but there are some countries that fully ban any kind of transaction of cryptocurrencies. If you are not into mining, most of the user utilize the vpn or virtual private network. Thru the use of vpn your computer could connect to another computer in another country as if your are on that location. Your IP when traced will be shown in the vpn server country. Utilization of vpn is very common, however some have comes with a hefty price while some are free, but the security could be questionable.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin win? on: May 20, 2018, 09:08:46 AM
Similar to what Gandhi said
At first, they ignored the Bitcoin, then ridiculed him for "how a digital coin does not have a physical presence" to be a substitute for paper currency and a system called the Blockchain, an alternative not only to the banks but to the entire institutions, then they fought him and tried to cast suspicion in the ranks of those who pursued him To 20 thousand dollars in less than ten years from the way he described the bubble and the closing of the trading platforms and then enter the market and try to control it as it is now.
Now only victory ...

Hi there salahcryptowin! It could be ignorance, denial, acceptance and fulfillment. Those factors are the level of people getting into bitcoin. But once youre in, it will be hard to turn it back specially when you are earning. And most of the time it did. If there are lot of people who believe in bitcoin, there are a lot of people wanting to buy one; once the demand goes up, the price will definitely goes up as well. At the end a big win to bitcoin.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: May 18, 2018, 08:45:24 PM
I have seen a lot of rumors out there they are saying next bitcoin is a Litecoin it possible?

Hi there washintonexchange! You can even see the spelling are far enough to be the next bitcoin. I mean, nah it wont be. I will even bet on ethereium tha litecoin, but no offense I just see eth could be more usable specially for smart contract rather than lite. Dash could be also consider as a candidate since it have boasting the fastest transaction time among other cryptocurrencies. But at the end, I will still stand to remain loyal to bitcoin. Nothing will stop bitcoin or defeated it as the number one cryptocurrency in the whole world.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best country for crypto on: May 18, 2018, 08:28:24 PM
Always heard that Switzerland is a great place to livve and now they are leading at this too

https://cointelegraph.com/news/switzerland-first-in-ranking-of-top-10-most-blockchain-friendly-countries-in-europe

Hi there brawdias! Its good to hear that. I never been in switzerland, but i knew that the climate in there could be more cooler than in other location and the humidity could be more appropriate than those in artics. Some say the best country is Japan because most of the establishment knew and received bitcoin as a payment. But it just recent that it came switzerland is a runnerup for that. I just notice that they are first in the european country to be marked as crytptocurrency friendly country.  I hope other neighboring country follow the lead.
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: May 18, 2018, 08:11:06 PM
I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.

Hi there the maker! Most of the value of stocks are even price on that way. It is not just for bitcoin, that is how stock market works, people who buy and sell stocks are the one who generate the factor to make the price goes up or goes down. Even the company it self have no direct control of the price. Look at nasdq, stocks price of amazon, tesla, apple and even nvidia among others.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why sudden bump in bitcoin? It is now over $8000 on: May 18, 2018, 07:55:16 PM
Few hours before the price of bitcoin was at $7000 but suddenly there is a huge price bump over $1000 and it causes the bitcoin price to go up 17%.And it happened in other cryotocurrency prices as well it is an whales action or what?

But it is good to see the price now. Smiley

Hi there semobo! That could be true, I notice on those dates that there are big whales trading across different trading platform. I have even notice them until the consensus happened. After that, whales seems go underground again which make the price follow to the dive. But in terms of other currency, I think it just go with the price of bitcoin, you can even notice that when bitcoin price goes up, most of the alts price is goin up too, and when the price of bitcoin go down, those alts also follows. But not all of them do the same, some even negates the flow of bitcoin. But if you will notice zcash suddenly skyrocketed due to its introduction to a famous trading platform.
