301  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would you like to ask a crypto casino owner? on: February 16, 2024, 04:49:45 PM
So, if you would like to ask anything, drop your questions here.
Ask if they feel any guilt that their business has the potential to breed addicts?

Ask also to know if their casino is making any conscious effort to help people from becoming addicted?

What kind of significance would asking gambling companies this question have for the gambling community?

It's like asking the beverage companies or the owners of bars and liquor stores if they feel any guilt because of alcoholics. Why would they? They don't force anyone to drink alcohol. Or like asking fast-food chains if they feel guilty about obesity? They don't force anyone to eat unhealthy food. The same applies to casino owners.

I am familiar with this word kekw, been seeing this on memes like more than five years ago. Haha.

As I understand, your business model is the same with the others that has also their own tokens for distribution of the casinos profits for your holders.

I've checked your name and these two appeared; which one is yours?

Although both of them are non data existing.

Distribution of profits are are paid via revenue share as Ethereum to holders of KEKW

Your explanations are beyond confusing!  We need a damn direct answer, not riddles!

303  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Post quality matters than replying fast on: February 15, 2024, 10:19:16 PM
Well, first off, I agree with others who pointed this out, how do you define a quality reply? Just 'cause a post is long doesn't automatically make it good.

I think a solid reply shows you digested the original idea and are adding something relevant.  Maybe you're asking a good follow up question or making an observation that pushes the dialogue forward.  Or maybe you're respectfully disagreeing.  But your reply should flow outta paying close attention, not just rattling off whatever pops into your head.

Quality over quantity, is what I'm saying.
304  Economy / Reputation / Re: Where do we draw a line? Signature campaigns or shilling campaigns on: February 15, 2024, 10:05:34 PM
My understanding is that did not happen and from what I can by reading posts in this thread, it is not disputed either. What does however seem to have taken place was something different. icopress did not ask anybody to make posts containing fake-positive comments, he asked for common sense to prevail in circumstances when it obviously should.
I have only good things to say about icopress and I respect him, but I dont want to see members wearing signature to always write fake positive stuff about service they promote.

I think we're making this more complicated than it needs to be.  I tend to like stuff simple.

For those joining these campaigns - Don't participate in the promotion of a product or service that you have nothing good to say about. Yeah, money's appealing, but good judgement still matters.

For campaign managers . Don't hesitate to warn participants whose behavior on the forum may harm the brand they are promoting. And, if necessary, it is your right to remove such members from the campaign even if it is only a matter of opinion. You run a business, not a charity.
305  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing kekw.bet on: February 15, 2024, 09:31:13 PM
@Marcelstinks, I want to welcome you here first off.  As for kekw.bet, not saying this is a first, since we've seen similar web3 gambling sites already.  But yeah for sure, you'll need some promotion to get the word out about this place. and  The thread title could be punchier - maybe highlight what does make this special.

Make that first impression spark interest!
306  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would you like to ask a crypto casino owner? on: February 15, 2024, 09:12:22 PM
This could spark some intrigue, but I also have some reservations that likely won't get direct responses.  For instance, the inquiry from yahoo62278 regarding mandatory KYC protocols. Are casinos using KYC and AML regulations to their advantage by asking players for excessive personal information to deter them or use it as an excuse to deny payouts?  Proof of source of funds comes to mind. It would be more logical to request such proof when depositing funds. and yet, some casinos ask for it only when withdrawing funds from the platform.

307  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Lost 12-word seed, got good hints on: February 15, 2024, 08:31:00 PM
So I've lost my 12-word seed but I still know the first letter of each word.
Can I make a script trying all possible combinations and recover my seed in a reasonable amount of time?

I'm afraid brute forcing your seed phrase, even with known letters, is basically impossible.  With 12 random words drawn from a list of over 2000, the combinations are just astronomical.  Every initial letter opens up hundreds of possibilities - for instance 136 words start with A.  Doing the math, that's way too many combinations for any computer to churn through in our lifetimes.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price of Bitcoin and Ethereum on: February 15, 2024, 08:00:43 PM
So does the price of Ethereum really go up when the price of Bitcoin goes up? And does Bitcoin's bull market actually coincide with Ethereum's bull market? What is your opinion on this matter? And correct me if I'm wrong.

A fairly common question.  From my perspective, seems they often, though not always, trend together and  bitcoin frequently leads blazing the crypto path as first major coin.  So its big runs tend to lift other cryptos like Ethereum.  And in severe Bitcoin corrections, like 2018, alts like Ethereum can drop even more.

You could, you know, actually look at a chart yourself. It's not brain surgery.
309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Preventive measures not to lose your btc on: February 14, 2024, 10:58:53 PM
I would like to add, don't download random software or games from sketchy websites.  Who knows what nasties could be hiding in those free or cracked apps.  Better to stick with legit app stores where at least there's some screening.

Next, be sure to regularly update your device software and apps and  developers constantly release patches to squash bugs and plug security holes as theyre discovered.  Updates are usually annoying, but putting them off leaves you vulnerable so grit your teeth and just do it.

Also secure your home Wi-Fi with a strpng password - no birthday or anniversary dates! If you really want to lock it down set up encryption like WPA3.  And for public Wi-Fi, just assume it's crawling with hackers sniffing for passwords and private details.

Finally, put some guard dogs on your devices.  Antivirus and anti-malware software can catch infections before they take hold, so they're worth investing in.  Most gadgets nowadays have decent built-in protections but an extra security blanket never hurts.
310  Economy / Gambling / Re: LTC Casino (ltccasino.com) - most fair crypto casino with highest RTP on: February 13, 2024, 10:17:42 PM
Just a small correction, if you don't mind. Admins/mods do moderate spam and they delete spam posts as soon as they get reported. But you are correct when it comes to scams. Scam posts do not get deleted and scammers do not get banned. Dealing with scammers is left to dt members and the trust system.
But shouldn't the admins/mods get in the way when it's definitely a verified scammer? I think that banning scammers would help a lot in discouraging that behavior in the forum plus it will be a war of attrition from then on between admins banning scammers and scammers getting craftier until they get tired of scamming, I do hope that the kind of system where every DT is in agreement that someone is a scammer and that they should get the ban hammer.

The forum's decentralized DT work independantly based on their own judgment, not some central authority.  If somebody provides convincing evidence against a supposed scammer, enough Decentralized Thinkers will slap a warning label on them and  that red flag should clue in other users something fishy's going on.  But the DT crew doesn't have banning power - they can only tag questionable characters.

The volunteer mods just enforce the basic rules - no spam/hate speech, etc and  they usually can't verify fraud and scam claims.  It's a judgement call and mods dont wanna overstep since members are so autonomous here.
311  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: February 13, 2024, 09:57:07 PM
the device i use is a pc and only a pc and its a new one to.
he never login from my pc cuz i didnt even seen him for a few month..
and about the ip he never login from my ip to but i might login ones or twice from my parents house which he was playing from there so thats what might be the issue i need razer here to check it all out..

Well, this is when things start to seem a little far-fetched.  Your brother that you haven't talked to in months just happens to be gambling on the same online casino site as you, from your parents' house? I gotta say, that sounds kinda unbelievable.  I mean you can see why it comes across like a made-up story and  and I bet that casino has some pretty high-tech ways of catching people trying to sneak back on after being banned that you'd never even think of.  If they already blocked you once, its probably better not to push your luck making new accounts - eventually, they'll figure it out again.

and the tip i got was random from some diamond dude in chat that tip to a lot of people not just me so no issue there bro .
and i proved them i am not the same person by providing my id and driver license.. + live camera g..

I don't mean to sound harsh, but the way you laid it out raises some red flags from an outside view.  Could be there's stuff going on you didnt mention.  I mean, I used to play at Rollbit pretty often and this is the first time hearing something like this.  There were definitely some players on lucky streaks who were generous sharing part of their winnings with folks in chat, but never saw anyone randomly tipping strangers 500 bucks and  you gotta have some screenshots or something to prove it, no?

i dont mind give them any info they want even my address g i just want to play on rollbit and have fun i didnt broke any rules g and i didnt even know my famliy member was banned until i got the ban and asked him

Casinos don't play around when money's involved.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 12, 2024, 10:18:21 PM
In my observation, there are two elements to participate in gambling. One, you must above 18 years in my country and secondly you must have an experience to play, so I want to know if inexperienced people can also play gamble.

So, how does this "experience check" actually happen? Do bouncers just eyeball everyone at the door and ask if they've ever gambled before?

No, I don't believe something like that exists in practice. You likely misunderstood something. Casinos generally don't check for gambling experience, and in fact, inexperienced players might even be seen as more desirable targets.
313  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I'm looking for someone who will help me with my project acechange.io on: February 12, 2024, 09:47:23 PM
Hello @acechange! I noticed you've made a brand new account to say hi here.  Have you been a part of this community before under a different name? If so, posting from your usual profile might help us get to know you better and give you some credibility.  Either way, welcome to Bitcointalk!

Now, about your platform, what can we help you with? Do you need a tester, reviewers, developers, promoters... ?
314  Economy / Gambling / Re: I've Made Millions abusing Exploit in a Crypto Casino - AMA on: February 12, 2024, 08:56:07 PM
Ten years back, when Bitcoin was still finding its feet, there likely weren't many crypto casinos around.  Perhaps a handful at most.  So if someone really managed to game one of those early operators for a big payout, I'd expect there to be some kind of record.  Even a forum post or chat log recounting the tale and  it would be quite a feat to pull off.

Without further proof the claim does seem rather dubious.  But who knows, maybe this person did get lucky and slip through the cracks before the casinos wisened up.  Stranger things have happened in those early cowboy days of crypto.  Still, extraordinary claims require at least some evidence to back them up.  Otherwise, it's all just talk.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can't Access LTC Casino on: February 12, 2024, 07:29:07 PM
OP seems to be just playing a game here, taking everybody for a ride. He's just trying to make users here, most especially active posters of this section of the forum, visit the site. He is clearly promoting a casino in a unique way, asking what seems to be an innocent question, but answering it himself later on with an update.

But this doesn't really make your casino popular OP. It might have created a little temporary traffic for your site, but I doubt it made them create an account, made a deposit, and played in the casino.

It's possible OP could be an alt account or linked to an LTC Casino account somehow. Same as the aphelio_wane account. All three were active around the same time and even share the same local time.

VanDerTrust and aphelio_wane both registered on the same date: November 17, 2022, just over half an hour apart.

Check out their posting activity:

And all three have been inactive ever since.
316  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: February 10, 2024, 08:39:58 PM
I have only bet on the biggest leauges and games. Nothing shady, sadly ive won a few thousand.. They have provided no other information than that is has been escalated. If I had knew that they would do these kinds of things, I would never have deposited there in the first place. But now im quite concerned after reading all the threads about Rollbit in this forum.

I understand Rollbit is reviewing your account related to sports bets.  This seems pretty standard - many gambling sites will look closer at accounts with a lot of action on sports.  No need to stress too much and  if you've done nothing sketchy, it should get cleared up.  Rollbit has a good reputation overall, so I'd expect them to be fair and reasonable here.

Just hang tight for now.  The review may take some time, but if your conscience is clean it'll probably work out fine in the end.  Try to be patient - getting worked up over it wont help move things along.  Hopefully you'll get an update from them soon.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think women will make better gamblers by their nature? on: February 10, 2024, 07:53:13 PM

Really? Painting with a wide brush (men this, women that) is oversimplified. Are we still using these outdated binaries in 2024? Come on. Discuss facts, not fiction. Healthy gambling (balancing risk and reward) is something men and women thrive at when given equal opportunity. Society shapes our view of natural ability. Exposure, education, and empowerment matter, not gender. Given the correct environment, women can take chances and pursue ambitions too

Talking about liability? Relic of the past. Dependency nowadays is situational, not gender-specific. All genders want financial independence. The concept that men are better at money and risk is outmoded and contradictory to gender equality. Our thought should evolve, not devolve

Very well said, Broad generalizations about genders often propagate outdated stereotypes rather than reflecting reality.  You're absolutely right - both men and women can enjoy taking calculated risks or thriving in varied settings and even though gambling is not exactly my favorite pastime, I recognize when done responsibly, some may find it exciting.  Moving forward, we would do well to avoid assumptions based on gender and appreciate each person's individuality.
318  Economy / Gambling / Re: ltc casino login on: February 10, 2024, 04:43:08 PM
<...> Ok now that they have changed the domain what about the registered accounts with their funds?

Well, I assume nothing's changed with the registered users and their balances on the site.  They just swapped out the main domain from ltccasino.com to ltccasino.io, but elsewise everything's the same as before far as I can tell.

But what bugs me more is how their forum rep kept quiet about it all and deleted from ann post, then began promoting anonymous-casino.com instead without explainin' why.  Just don't sit right with me.
319  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think? Lump sum vs DCA best accumulation strategy. on: February 10, 2024, 04:30:55 PM

<...>

I'm really sorry about that I know I spoke less in favour of lump sum, I use it strategically when I want to buy on dips and I didn't want to make such points least people start relying on only dip buys as an accumulation strategy knowing that it often leads to procrastination and indecision amongst younger investors.

Yeah, there's no reason to be sorry about anything.  Since DCA gave you good results in the past it makes senses to keep using that method.   At the end of the day, we just have to figure out what investment style works best for us.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: February 09, 2024, 11:44:44 PM
Yeah, I hear you! It really does seem like the casino knows exactly what we're gonna do before we even do it.  Like they've got some kinda voodoo magic predicting our bets.  What luck, eh?  Wink

But nah, it's just in our heads and  these games work on chance - even if it feels rigged when were on a losing streak.  The house ain't out to get us specifically.  The spins and deals are random, fair and square.  We just gotta chalk it up to cruddy coincidence when we keep picking the wrong numbers or betting big right before a cold run.

That's gambling.  She's a fickle mistress! But hey at least we know there aint any funny business going on behind the scenes when there is a provably fair system that can be verified.  The game ain't rigged just 'cause our strategy didn't pan out this time.
