Thanks for the reply theymos, if not .onion, possibly a .bit domain? Seems to be perfect for this forum, and it has to do with bitcoin. None of the privacy of tor, but still would be cool.
.bit domains are used via NMC. This is bitcointalk.org. I don't see any real value that a .bit domain would give the forum, especially since it cannot host anonymously (the public already knows the identity of the people that run/own it) yes I'm aware it's bitcointalk but does that stop all the altcoins from posting on here? NO it's a crypto forum basically at this point. So why not support what the crypto coins are trying to do? whats your animosity to namecoin? It isn't even about being hosted anonymously which is what the hiddenservice suggestion is more about than mine. personally you sound like a fed trying to prevent users from exercising their right to privacy. |

I don't plan on supporting the fork. I want more proposals and more options besides just gavins that obviously doesn't have the full community support. If there is going to be a hard fork; there are other things that need done at that time as well to prevent future hard forks from happening within the next decade again.
+1 the whole approach is bullshit so far - no other proposals - no consensus - not even an urgent need to fork (some supporters of the gavinfork want tell you that it would be urgent but that has been shown to be wrong) ----------- basically the community is devided in the people who think and talk sense and know the original purpose of the coin aswell as have a basic understanding of the tech and on the other side is the camp of the greedy sheep who don't give a fuck and tell everyone "just follow in line" ----------- people need to inform themselves to protect their finances and be able to make educated decisions. completely agree. I get the "whole sky is falling" vibe with his hard fork proposal and for not doing shit in the last 5 years. It really can wait a while longer to hash out more ideals. |

NKT is a tribute coin to nakamoto. First you have to remind this.
Then:
-Roadmap is down cause nkt don't need dice game,in wallet trade or stuff like that. They could create some hype for sure,but please don't be a daily trader here. You really need at this time(february 2015) same and repeated feature like in wallet-trade,anon,stealth,supernet,tor, etc etc? They are really needed for a coin? We don't think. They are good features,but many coins already have them. So, don't ask about this.
They could be done,but it's not our priority.
-We have contacted and talked with: Multipools operators,merchants, but we don't found a good deal so far. Cause we have first check the multipool code,check how it works,and have fully control over it about payout payments. Same for merchants: it could be easy to add nkt to some sites,but we have to find the best for it. Not just some, only to create a short-time hype.
-Code is fully working,NO FORK has been done so far,and it's a plus nowadays.
-We have contacted cryptsy to know what's happen with nkt. Cryptsy was and still remain the exchange with most registered user in.
Our priority is to focus on promotions. Don't wait for new wallet featured,cause the new wallet has been released less than 30 day ago and most important, NKT is only 2 months old.
And don't be to close about the dev activity(just check our total loggin time here since beginning). NKT is out,genesis block is active,code is full working and source is public. So, NKT is not "A dev coin". It's a community coin, based on community feelings.
In wallet trade was part of the original roadmap and what inspired me to invest in this coin and now you're saying it isn't important. - The code is not fully working -How about fixing the upnp issue that was cloned over from whatever coin you clones this from? That sounds like a good priority or at least address it since I asked twice about it. So you wouldn't have an issue if someone just took the coin over from you than? Since it's a community coin and the way you describe it now, I perceive it nothing more than just one of them fake plastic token coins for the arcade games. |

Dev worth nothing.
I was mining for months collecter about 2000 dev and when I tried to sell them
on cryptsy they worth nothing the min balance that cryptsy required could not be
reached so remained there....as small btc had to transfer there btc to be able to move them.

Anyone getting paid their devcoin? I haven't seen a payout since the 15th and it was regular until that day.
It appears blocks are still being found and "paid" but in the transactions; my balance hasn't moved since the 15th.
NMC and IXC still paying out regularly.

Even if they ran it and Lynch got stuffed, the Seahawks still had a timeout remaining, so time was not a factor. So in theory, they get run stuffed, call timeout, and they pass it on 3rd and 4th down, but still from the 1 yard line. Just dumb situational play call all around. stuffed and and a loss of 5 yards or back to the line. But whatever I'm not here to argue over it. just saying what I think of it. Not here to argue either, but say Lynch gets stuffed for loss to the 5 yard line. They call timeout, and they still have 2 pass plays left. When you're 1 yard away from the end zone, the probability and possibility of turnover running the ball is probably close to 1% or less. The probability of a ball getting tipped, a wide receiver getting jammed, or just any sort of disaster is magnified at the goal line especially with a short QB like Russell Wilson. Wrong play call period. thats your opinion |
