This is the last before halving if Im correct. This could mean last difficulty increase in a while as I expect many people shutting off mining when block rewards going from 25 BTC to 12.5 BTC.
I think we're going to see a huge increase before we start to see any decrease. New gen machines are just hitting the market, they are still very cost effective after the halving. I don't think we're going to see diff drop off a cliff like we speculated may happen. I'm gonna hold off on guessing a bit, see where we're headed. Looks like the peak is climbing back up again.

Wow, Kipper is killing it with a 800M best share. Nice one, almost over the 1G mark! I've dropped down several ranks this round.

are you getting that info on the hashrate?
It comes from cksolo pool front end, just need the btc address and worker and then their website pulls the hash and bestshare info automatically.

and solo mining come back.
I'm not saying solo mining ever left. come back: to return, especially to one's memory: to return to a former position or state. to talk back; retort: What are you saying, besides contradictions?

For me, BTC is going to have to fall much further before I'll convert actual dollars into BTC. Two months ago, if somebody had offered to sell me a BTC for $560 I would have laughed. I am hard pressed to see what is fundamentally different in terms of conditions that affect BTC price. Although I do have to admit that I have no idea what influences the price of BTC. I expect it's more likely geopolitical events that I have little insight into. All this mining and hardware stuff is interesting, but a cogent understanding of how BTC price actually is determined, and a way to accurately predict it, would be worth way more than a BitFury mining container.
I think the primary driving force behind bitcoin price is speculation - speculation that, at some point in the future, BTC will be worth significantly more than they were yesterday. I'm sure there is a myriad of factors that come into play, but I'd put my money on speculation having the largest slice of that pie chart.

You are simply wrong Hey, I have this great idea. Stop mailing letters to people. Instead, write all mail on cash bills and then spend those cash bills, sort of, at a place run by whoever you are sending a letter to. Great idea, right? Wrong.

in the first message there is a google sheet with information about all users.
by the way... this campaign is still active? I don't see any update/payment by some weeks...
Did you follow your own advice? I don't see you listed.

Yea that big peak hash power was shut off again, just after the diff adjustment like it has been doing for a while now. I think we'll see another huge price surge still, I think the coin will be over $1000 at the halving - my prediction and quote me on it if it happens (but feel free to ignore if it doesn't ).

Well my little fun runners are chugging right along. I'm in 5th place here and 3rd place on the R1 run, not too shabby if I do say so myself!

Thanks for keeping it going, Phil. Last one before the halving? Let's do it!

is it possible to disable the wifi and work with only ethernet? and wat's the power consomation?
Yes, crazyman's firmware disables wifi by default, but you can also do it. I think power consumption is like 8W, it varies a little depending on your frequency setting.

Worker 3JhmANFUNJkBREYYfPPy8hdJ3cnrGvWKhY.128:{"hashrate1m": "1.24T"
A block hit by a 1.24 TH/s worker. Pure Luck.
Dude is running 100TH, one of his S5s hit, not pure luck just some.

and we want paid.
Probably for English lessons? Get a clue; get a life.

anyone game for a S7-LN run? That has higher probability to hit a block...
The point of this is not to hit a block, it's for fun best share. And while the S7 may have a "higher probability", it's still basically 0.

The Spike is back!
Yup, I noticed that just today, too. Looks like the afterburners are on again, or I guess at this point they're not afterburners, but rather just the soon to be status quo.

Ya'll are too positive.
As a native Californian I would like to say F you, Cleveland! Enjoy your 1 ring, may you never get another.

Talk is cheap, you've gone above and beyond to show the ins and outs of HaoBTC so don't sweat what others say to bring you down. I know my coin is in a good spot.

this is such a fun little distraction, I look forward to each one of these if for nothing more than testing my prestidigitational predictory prowess. So far, I suck, but it's still fun thanks for doing it, big turnout this time yeah this one is a milestone as it will be the last one in btc steps of 0.10 btc. the high btc price has attracted many players. Happy to say I've been playing since diff was down in the 30G range. It's been a fun ride up to the halving!

I am hoping to get over 1k and stay over 1k.
and we have 11 blocks to the close of picks
That would be freaking awesome Considering most of my coin was made when it was valued around $200, I concur.

This price surge is pretty amazing. I mean, sure, we hypothesized about it but no one was sure which way the price was going to go. Will be interesting to see if the value holds after the halving. I hope so, and glad I have coin in the bank so to speak!
