For period from 18th June till now the Kano seems to be better than Antpool (payments) :d
I will try give exact info soon
I know what you mean, about a month ago i pointed my units to 4 different pools (incl antpool) simultaneously to see for myself what would be the payout difference in abt 10 days. So now im here))

It's a slow Friday ....

BTC Gatekeeper may not like the Bud beer... will look for VB or Sam Adams later

Meanwhile.... BTC is now 655$, missed an opportunity to grab some when it was below 600$ because I was busy with my warehouse electricals.

Btw, thanks guys for the notes and guides on the PDU relay solution. Those simple adapter solutions can't handle more than 3000w so it's back to square one and seems the enterprise grade high amp PDU relay with Pi, is the better solution.

Another thing, my broadband connection to my mancave will be brand new and I am taking the opportunity to upgrade my router and also put in some contingencies.

Anyone using a fiber broadband Internet solution with 4G cellular data link failover as backup?

I am looking at solution below to connect to my dumb 48 port router which is also connected to my fiber broadband box via ISP provided wifi router.

Any advise, would be greatly appreciated.

Wow that was very long.  but  these diff charts look nice for all of us miners
I wonder if the hoped for drop in hash rate due to the ½ing will happen a bit sooner then I expected.

we are down more then 6% at the moment.

Halving will take alot of people out, especially guys with old equipment and hopefully the rentals. Hehe.  Grin Grin Grin and may all pools disappear and solo mining come back. Only the China pools will be left. They pay nothing for electricity. But all the gravy train guys will be gone. CHEERS. Grin Grin Grin

Solo mining never left.

Given Kano pool track record... you are statistically correct!

Orphan...ugg
Yeah basically a relay/GFW issue again though.

Well at least it's been 224 blocks since the last orphan.

As usual, our block was all over everywhere outside china before the BTCC block was seen by anyone outside the GFW - but only just, about 100ms to 400ms before on all the relays.

Inside the GFW it was 4.25 seconds after the BTCC block so of course everyone inside the GFW was working on the BTCC block but everyone outside the GFW would have been working on our block.

Our node inside the GFW didn't get the BTCC block to us any faster, probably due to whatever was delaying the block getting outside the GFW.

Anyway, the fact of the matter is the possibilities were:
1) we would have had no block, if the BTCC block got to us faster since we would have changed to that before finding the block
2) we get an orphan (as we did)
3) if we confirmed the block ourselves, we would have won the orphan race - and had 2 blocks Smiley
4) we might have found the next block off the BTCC block

Option 4) has the lowest possibility, so the reality is one of: a) no block or orphan or b) confirming our block
So wasn't all bad Smiley until we got orphaned Tongue

Aside: well clearly I fixed the orphan detection code since the last time we got an orphan.
