So when Im on some exchanges there is a thing called a troll box with people chatting about prices and stuff are these people "trolls" just to scheme you into buying coins or something or are they actually giving you decent advice? In short WTF is a trollbox LOL
Basically it's nothing but a plain ol' chatbox. I think it just got it's name since the chat is not censored, some people who spread fuds and creates "trolls" in a coin in an exchange can be freely post in it. Did you know that "trollbox" originated in Poloniex? You can read some more info in here: https://www.trollboxone.com/what-is-a-trollbox

What is the best way to store Bitcoins/alt for long term holder?
Consider buying a Ledger Nano if you plan on not touching your coins for a really long time. It's a hardware wallet btw. Make sure you store it somewhere safe and always keep another backup. DON'T even consider storing your coins in one exchange. Also, consider installing a portfolio tracker like blockfolio to monitor the prices of the coins you have.

you can earn starting from nothing and not know anything, but you need time
if you do not have the capital, you will not collect anything even if you were patient for a long time. I didn't say that you will not collect anything if you do not have the skill, but the profit will not be sustainable. Pretty sure the guy is talking about creating multiple accounts and joining signature campaigns in the forum.
Hi, I am new to Bitcoin and I am just wondering if there are opportunities to earn some quick bitcoin to get started. I heard some websites allow you to earn cashback in the form of bitcoin or convert your rewards points to bitcoin. This seems an easy entrance, but I don't know whether they actually work. Did anyone ever try these? Any sites you would recommend to start off with?
I'm not really sure of any cashback programs but there are several services that offers referrals. If you are really looking in earning you need to focus more on putting some money in trading. If you can learn how the market works then you will surely profit easily. It is now a good time to invest on altcoins because the market is still recovering.

Hello
Is there a company or people that can help ICO development and advising, if yes, is it possible to get some kind of quotation for the work.
Thanks.
There are ICO aganecy that I have seen in here but I am not sure if I'll recommend them since I have no personal experience to any of them. Anyway, you can browse the service section here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0Some have their threads up in there. Also if you are interested in an ICO engagement firm, try to contact amazix.com They are a really good team of professional individuals.

There's the Terminology thread already for these. . IIRC that thread was pinned before or maybe I remembered wrong.

i mean the allocated 1,500,000 tokens only for signature campaign so i need to include all the participants in signature campaign to get the answer?
Yes. You need to know the number of signature campaign participants. Technically, you can only get the result once after the ico since the stakes might change throughout the course of the campaign.
|
|
|
Please provide me some computation. Thanks a lot.
total of tokens of the bounty campaign pool / by the total stakes from all participants = how many tokens per stake * by the number of stakes you accumulated. Does that makes sense? ex. bounty pool = 1,500,000 coins/tokens / stakes from all participants = let's assume everyone got 30,000 stakes = 50 coins/tokens per stake let's assume you get 10 stakes * 50 coins/token = 500 coins/tokens (this is what you get)

Notice that the real bitcointalk link appears in green when clicked in the forum.
If you are looking at green lock to identify the real and fake then you are wrong. Any domain owner can by SSL and add it with their domain to show it's trusted. The best practice is to bookmark the site and make sure you do remember the correct spelling. Also you will need to remember which TLD (.com, .org, .info etc) the domain have. Another practice is to copy the root URL and paste it in a notepad. Whenever you need to visit the site, copy the URL from notepad and past it on your browsers address bar. I know. I meant this: the link posted in this forum will be green in color once you hover on it if it redirects to the bitcointalk.org domain. theymos post about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1432118.0

There seems to be an exact duplicate of bitcointalk.org out there. I don't want to name the domain, but if it is not affiliated with bitcoin.org or bitcointalk.org, shouldn't there be a warning to users? One of our colleagues almost entered our information on the phishing site.
This is not new. There has been several phishing links posted even here in the forum. Notice that the real bitcointalk link appears in green when clicked in the forum. This was implemented to prevent anyone posting a fake link to avoid phishing.

edit: i'm sorry, i don't understand why the table is not formatted...
You actually didn't made any table so I've formatted the table for you.
Token livetree midex saifu xyo jimbi | | | Start Date 08/01/2018 20/02/2018 02/04/2018 23/04/2018 11/06/2018 | | | End date 20/02/2018 01/04/2018 22/04/2018 10/06/2018 running | | | N° token 8290,51 723,87 1383,576 628961 -- | | | initial values not listed anywhere not listed anywhere not listed anywhere $4.701,48 -- | | | current value not listed anywhere not listed anywhere not listed anywhere $1.459,82 -- | | | loss // // // -68,95% -- |
btw, that is some nice number of tokens, is that all from signature campaign? I personally wouldn't hold a token that long since most of them lost value after the first week even with the legit ones. I am not a long term holder. The longest I held my coins was like 3 months and that's it. I gave in when the price went down 25% of it's original value. Goodluck with your portfolio.

When doing any transfer from myetherwallet to other exchanges how much will i be charged.
This depends on the processing speed of the Ethereum network. At low gas prices, there are times when gas is very high. OP is actually asking on how much will he be spending on a transaction. If not familiar with the terms gas or gwei, you can use this calculator to know how much the fee is in ETH : https://ethgasstation.info/calculatorTxV.phpNormally, sending transactions won't cost you a dollar.

Wow. It's amusing to see the number of people who posted here and didn't even bothered reading what is OP's question.
