301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: May 25, 2024, 10:26:04 AM
I haven't achieved anything tangible from gambling if I am to go by what you said here.Gambling always dissappoint me when I need it the most, unlike your own case that it helps you when you need it the most, so many persons are suffering thesame thing I'm suffering, and if I am to chose between quiting or gambling more,I will chose quitting because for the years I've gambled,I haven't been so lucky anytime that I can say I won big,and I used the money to get something so important and tangible that I can always remember, but I have lost huge amount of money through gambling,so when I see this,I see nothing better in it,I still gamble because I'm addicted to it.
Then you have to start doing something to correct your mistakes and if you're already addicted, seek some help professionally.

They're capable of helping you on how not to be frustrated anymore because you're still gambling even if you want to.

And being on that status of addiction, it's hard to get out of it so aside from seeking help from the others, you need to help yourself as well to get up and get out of it.
302  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to know if you are lactose intolerant on: May 25, 2024, 09:44:17 AM
Well, I don't know how to find it either but with those descriptions that you've said and that means that I am lactose tolerant.

To be honest, I like sweets but I started to witness myself and are gaining weight again. The culprit, no doubt and that's the sweets and sugars that I eat.

Even carbonated drinks, I have to go back to my healthy living and diet. I see that your thread is a good reminder to me.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 25, 2024, 08:41:20 AM
Poor Timberwolves, got beaten twice.

Maybe they like to get their win on Mavs court.

Wolves are mentally still at the previous series. They thought they could win it all after beating nuggets  Grin
They don't like that they do but this 2nd lost for the conference finals will definitely going to put some mental battle for each of them.
304  Other / Off-topic / Re: Always consider security features of any device you're getting on: May 25, 2024, 07:47:50 AM
I am an android fan while my wife is an iOS user. What I don't like with android nowadays, the cheap ones have got the bloatwares.
I have used both android and ios and I must say that the apple is definitely much secure and less prone to viruses and other types of hacking. I also find it to be much more easy to use when it comes to different applications and actions in the phone.

Though of course apple devices are so much expensive and most of the time their new releases are just replicas of their old ones.
You're actually paying for the software with Apple and that's why they're quite expensive. But I like more flexibility of android and my main one has been here for 6 years.

I am planning to change it soon because no updates and then it has been slower.

Planning to have a samsung anytime soon.

They are also very easy to lose power so it has some pros and cons. It’s up to you which one you value more.
True because their battery has a low mAh.
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the dip in crypto, when are we expecting ath? on: May 24, 2024, 11:55:09 PM
Bitcoin halving draw more adopters to invest on Bitcoin and cyptrocurrency, and the thing most early adopters don't know is that after every halving the price isn't affected positively immediately as they think. You don't have to let fear induce you when you know your holding a reputable coins that has the potential of huge returns.Even with the decline in price (Bitcoin) you can still take advantage of the dip to keep accumulating till it gets to the bull moment.
They don't take advantage when Bitcoin goes on a dip because they think that it's still too expensive for them to buy. While many are interested to wait for the all time high.

Some of them will do the actual thing of accumulation but then won't follow the plans that they have thought when they're waiting for the dip.

It's not going to be easy for one to see the profits when you are not decided but to give everyone a food for thought, if you are aware that Bitcoin is here to stay then that's one factor that you should consider.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can soccer players collaborate with gamblers to help them win there bet? on: May 24, 2024, 11:29:30 PM
And I would say, this can happen in any sports. If money talks, then, the game will be rigged but fans can see it especially if they are very familiar with the athletes playing on the field.
I agree.

In any sports that has a large money at stake can blind any athlete that will be offered a lot of money. But they need to ask themselves if that's going to be the determining factor of their career and if it will be worth it?

In any sense, it is not worth it at all.
307  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you mind being alone? on: May 24, 2024, 10:55:31 PM
I hate being alone. When I'm alone, it forces me to face myself and think about what I've done. So when I'm by myself, I constantly scroll through my phone or aimlessly watch TV shows
I think everyone has the same situation.

I want to be alone as well but when you start a family, your me time is going to be occasional. Most of your time will be dedicated to your family and even with your work, you need to weigh things.

But if you have spare time and all you do is watch tv shows and scroll on your phone, that's fine if that's what is giving you a emotional heal.

Just do remember that too much in everything is bad.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 24, 2024, 10:29:17 PM
I do agree that Brown has been more consistent, it is not about who is better or who is worse, but who is giving their all every game.
It's only for the recent game. But check out his stats for the other games, he's not that consistent at all. He just got some clutch shots and that's why he made it look like he's consistent at all and those shots were critical and crucial for the team so it has been grandstanding.

And I agree about the latter.

It's not about who points more or the most but whoever does the clutch shots and make the team win.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: May 24, 2024, 09:49:02 PM
Recently, Dota 2 released a huge update 7.36 that changed the game incredibly much.
Many jokingly call it Dota 3, or say that it was possible to designate this update as 7.40: it is so large-scale.

Each such update greatly changes the balance, and I am sure that the bookmakers are reviewing the odds on the teams, because not every gaming team will be able to easily adapt to the changes that have occurred.
I understand most of the players if they're calling it Dota 3. It was the same when we've got new patch about the shrine and tormentor.

We all will adap it soon but this time, there are a lot of things to discover. This is for the sake of meta and those that are strong, we will see if they remain strong for this new patch and update.

What is funny on this patch is about magnus reverse reverse polarity, to which hero its ultimate will be comboed with? puck maybe?
310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How you trade in uncertain times? on: May 24, 2024, 09:24:59 PM
I don't trade when the market is uncertain but this time, we all know that it's bound to the bull run and that's why it's easier to trade.

My tip to the futures traders, just don't leverage a lot because even if we're going to North, the possibility of the market going the South is still high.

Some flash crash may occur even if the sentiment is bullish.
311  Other / Off-topic / Re: Floyd Mayweather detained in Dubai due to gambling debts? on: May 24, 2024, 08:47:32 PM
Just to have a simple discussion, the Saudi government allow a few people to gamble and invite Floyd? Just one of the things we don't know, peasants could get hanged in public if they gambled and were caught.
That is because the law for the rich and the poor or normal citizen is totally different. We do get this a lot from different countries even if Saudi is strict for their laws and religious matters.

There can always be an exception about it.

Anyway, has this already been said to be real? because Floyd from his alias as Money definitely can pay anything he wants to.

Floyd is indeed rich. $500M is probably nothing for him but he is in another country. Those oil kingpins are richer than him. It's different when you're in another country, crazy why there is no media coverage about this issue about him. I can think of the worse that happened already like he was being raped by a bearded guy over there while the camera is focused on his dick and his face. And then demand he pay double or else release the video.

Something is happening and he isn't found elsewhere and no video appearance despite the biggest fight Usyk vs Fury happened in there.
Wow.

I can't imagine those moments that you said. Because it's true that there have been cases about that those men from there really will rape even a guy without a beard.

I've read headlines about that and maybe the media is protecting Floyd with that and that's why no news about this if this is for real.
312  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: May 23, 2024, 11:55:09 PM
This is true that most of us who are in underdeveloped countries don't usually care about insurances but for me I insured my property as an average person from my motorcycle, our family's farmland, my fishing gears, personal insurance and anything else because super typhoon Odette that devastated my place taught us lessons on how important insurance is in times of disasters.
You just gave me a reminder to insure my properties as well. It's true that most of us don't really care about insurances but as we get older, this is important for us to secure and insure everything that we own because we don't know what's waiting a head of us.

If you are capable of doing it with your material posessions, do it. And also don't forget you as a person, you need to get your insurance as well so that if something happens, your family won't have any trouble financially after the claims.

And that common problem in underdeveloped or developing countries is there and there is a need to educate most of the citizens about how insurance works.

Hope in Dota2 guys and play a game! The patch is incredible and makes the game so much more fun to play but also it's so funny to see pro players randomly picking heroes thinking they already solved the meta situation. I also hope this big patch and big changes will nerf Falcons to the point they will not be able to win games or at least to dominate games that makes their game super boring to watch. ( I also hope they will reduce the toxicity of Amamr and Marline to the point they will be humble once again ).
Haha, I am for Marline to see him humble himself with this new patch and get stomped by most teams. But you know for Ammar, he's just retaliating when he's ever trashtalked.

Unlike to Malrine, he's always the first one to cross the line. But anyway, if a team crushes them and maybe it will be GG on this tournament, it's two birds with one stone.

I think that Malrine knows how to tilt Quinn but this one, I am with Quinn.  Tongue
315  Economy / Economics / Re: Work From Home or The "Laptop Class" is Immoral or Not? on: May 23, 2024, 10:26:05 PM
No.

It's not immoral.

I think that Elon and the rest who agrees with him are just used to the typical setup that they want to see their workers on their offices. He knows what's his best for his businesses and companies but it's not applicable to all.

Most of the companies that are allowing remote setup sees the value on it and for their employees, they're also giving value to themselves and their worth is being appreciated because they're working while they can bond with their family.

The reduce commute time can be allotted to something meaningful to them before they work. Anyway, I like the remote setup and this is where the world is going to but for these business magnates, to each their own.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 23, 2024, 09:58:05 PM
Okay, just few hours until Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals Pacers vs. Celtics starts. I think the Celtics will win this Game 2 again. In Game 1, I know the Pacers almost won, but I think it will be easier for the Celtics to win this time because I'm sure Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla will make some adjustments. The Celtics bench is also really good. They're more talented compared to Pacers bench. Payton Pritchard almost averaging 10 pts per games this playoffs.
Pacers almost had it.

I think that every NBA fan now is seeing how Pacers are good even this is a totally new roster. I am still with the Celtics and think that they're going to win this ECF.

But then, Pacers no doubt can get some wins against them. And once this ECF is done, more opportunities coming to the contributors of Pacers.
317  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does exercise before and during trading activity help ones chance of good profit on: May 23, 2024, 09:28:05 PM
Most of the people exercise early in the morning because they want to make a schedule for each and every activity but it does not mean that if you exercise then you will be profitable in trading.
I am seeing those folks that are exercising even in the evening and we've got different schedules and that only means that as long as you have a time to exercise do it.

Whether after or before you work.

As for trading and exercising, there's a benefit from it. If we are fit, we can think rightly and sweating removes the toxins in our body. I've been there and it's truly hard to move when you lack of exercise and easy to get angered.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Story of my life on: May 23, 2024, 08:54:09 PM
Not for me.

But I think that OP and others who are experiencing the same story is probably because of placebo effect. Which what you think is happening will definitely happen.

And what others are telling that it's also happening to them is likely you are also dealing with. It's like attracting the positive and negative depending on what you are thinking.

Some says it's the law of attraction IIRC.

I thought this was "self realizing prophecy" effect, not placebo

latw of attraction is somehow cool but too narrow imo, better to go out, do stuff and expose yourself to luck

life is too short after all.
Maybe all of them have the same effect and that's why the thought that it's about the same story that have been told.

So, any sort of that kind of attracting the energy and what could happen is going to happen base on their mantra or energy.

Also a possible thing with what you have said about self realizing prophecy or I should just say a prophecy?
319  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 23, 2024, 01:56:21 PM
You can use your entire salary to gamble and nobody is going to question you about it. You are have the right to make the right decision for yourself. There is no standard percentage for gamble from your salary, your responsibilities, things you spend your money on will determine how much money you should spend on gambling.
Someone who had worked all day long until receiving his salary and spending it in betting is totally out of his mind. While I know that there are people that are totally out of their minds.

Doing this is on the next level of craziness, you don't gamble with all of your salary but yes, you're free to do that and no one is going to stop you because that's your money and not ours.

An employee has a lot of addiction if all of his hard work is devoted to gambling. It's not right, and it's not normal to look at it like that, for sure. Although it is their money and they are the only ones who have freedom with the money they have worked for, that's why they are not spending their hard-earned money wisely.

What if you are a middle-aged person and that happens? Your family will only starve, which can lead to the destruction of your family just because of the gambling addiction you have. So, gambling wisely with discipline and self-control is still really needed, so just have the right allocation when gambling.
They know the consequences for doing such actions. You know what's your priority and if you priority first gambling than your family.

Then, you are the problem and you need to solve that within you. Your family is going to starve and the sad truth is that this truly happens in real life.
320  Economy / Economics / Re: Starting a business without capital. on: May 23, 2024, 10:58:13 AM
Convincing other people about the products we market is not an easy thing to do and the products we offer must of course be of good quality so that we can offer them to other people. Building a business certainly requires capital and this really depends on the business we are going to build.
That's why there are strategies in marketing and someone has to learn that depending on the experience that he's got.

Aside from the quality, you really have to build network and connection to your future and potential customers and prospects.

However, if we are able to start with a little capital, I don't think there's anything wrong with it, because if we can run it well, of course the business we run will develop well.
Someone can start with having nothing to little or big, depending on your capacity as a businessman.
