The fact about the Riyadh Master tournament is that there is no guarantee that they will host that event every year and even if they do there is still no guarantee that the prizepool will be atleast $15M which was the prizepool for the last tournament. TI on the other hand, will still be hosted every single year because thats one of the tournament that will allow Valve to milk their player base
AFAIK, Saudi Arabia is going to invest billions and they are going to pour money into esports and they want to be the esports hub and centre of the world. As for Valve, still haven't yet announced the changes and we will know that next year after the ESL. Maybe we will just get more ESL. It's all about the number of block for the halving and these are estimations that whoever made it have some basis which comes with calculator.
I agree with HB, knowing that we know when's the next halving, that doesn't change a thing because no matter what's the schedule of the halving, it will still come.
I guess the benefit of it are those that will like to sell first and buy again before the halving date. Other than that, I can't think of any other benefit that one can have from it.

They don't like Bitcoin and will tell you to stop this haze that you've been putting together with efforts you exert. But you stay here for a week or two, you'll be encouraged on what you must do with your money as it's not just all about Bitcoin.

Your mind and heart wants you to quit but then your body just don't follow you. The case here is it should be coordinated with your goal of avoiding in getting addicted. There is no doubt people are in need of financial incentives because of the high inflation all over the world but the problem I have with this kind of financial incentive is that most of it goes towards consumption, if the government can find a way to push the funds towards production the positive impact will be greatly felt in the economy but from history especially in countries with high corruption level most of these fund ends up being stolen whereby living the citizen worse off.
Yeah, that's one sad fact about in most countries that does this. It gives more idea to the corrupt officials on how they're going to corrupt more money from the government and this results to a higher inflation. But it shouldn't only be done through this. Because when they do give out financial incentives, there has to be some other counter for it to at least slow down the inflation that it will have as an effect. |
