Anybody got any tips for me for the top seeds of March Madness? I know the top seed seldom wins, but do they usually perform at least in the first round? Or do they also get knocked out.

I tried looking for past year brackets and journey but it's not for me possible to find, or I don't know how to look Wink

Uconn Huskies do seem super good though huh!

Asking because of Sportsbet BSFL!

So I think mafia is being quiet because I didn't see Round 2 recap on the news. We should congratulate them for being so nasty, but I think we have to say they are getting very cocky with thinking nobody is reading the news and waiting for Trofo's comments.

I recommend Toyota Owners 400 next week for next round. For obscure sports, cheapest ticket is $600 lol

An infamous quote says Never interupt your enemy when they're making a mistake. I'm just going to keep receipts of this post, so that I can either have something to reflect on, or something to work with.

Something similar about never fight a stupid person on his level, he will beat you with sheer stupidness.

In this case, it's me the regular relegator. I think that's gonna be my new title from here on.

Sick win, Coin_trader!! Never hit x100 multiplier before, but seen so many 1000x on this forum, yours is one of the biggest, though of course the one Steve posted on Sportsbet a few months ago was really the big winner, biggest I ever saw.

I played a new slot game today, freespins courtesy Livecasino so thank you Smiley

Ryse of Rome, very nice, I like this style more, if you hit something, the tiles get destroyed and then a new level appears above, and more drop. Every hit it happens, got to 4 new levels twice, I think the Wild tiles really help. Not bad for first try Smiley

305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10x vs 15x Margin Trade Question on: March 19, 2024, 05:38:26 AM
Wow, new to me too, but I think that's something you need to ask your customer support too, to get a clearer answer. Or get us the exchange name, we can look up the faq maybe.

But for sure it's the equity that's creating the issue, though I'm still not sure then how this works, your higher leverage shouldn't affect your equity, only your equity risk. So definitely need to see the exchange's formula.

Quoted OP below to view his images

The 10x has a $4.97 profit.
The 15x has a $3.31 profit.

I also started a trade at 200x which shows a profit .24c. I posted that as the third trade image.

@CLS63 I just missed the fact that you posted photos of the Fenerbahce stadium game, that's so awesome man! I prefer you guys to win it rather than Aston Villa, just because I miss seeing a non big 4 team win something. Are you a lifetime fan or you just support all Turkish teams? And what's the difference in the city who you support?

Good luck with 16x. Don't be stupid like me and yolo on penalty markets LOL
307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading software with correct non-time charts on: March 18, 2024, 10:28:04 AM
Range bars chart is (should be) something like fence built from boards of a strictly fixed height. What do they build instead? A fence made from boards of a random height. It is definetily a problem when you do not want this, when you need a flat smooth fence, but not this crooked s..t.

I've already tried to talk with some developers. They say like yeah, this may be a slight problem, we'll surely solve it, but not today - someday, thank you and blabla. For now it looks more real to hire a coder and solve it on my own. Anyway, thanks for you tip.

Hehe, ya true, that's the problem with these software, if it's not critical bug or not very popular it's going to be low on priority, but I'm happy at least you got to speak to the dev, and maybe who knows they fix it and credit you in the next update right?

If you solve it yourself you can even contribute to the next build Wink

Good luck with your trading and charting fren!!

Good to hear the mafia cleared everyone out and I guess cleared the bar out of all the spirits if I understand correctly lol

Anyway, at least my VAR was not wasted as I got 1 point from the mafia, victory was always impossible when dealing with corrupt entities. But cryptofrka yes we were both shit, it's stupid to celebrate as if I won the title when I managed only to get 1 point.

This time I'm waiting for tomorrow, seems too wasteful to use up VAR so soon already Wink
310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop paying money to learn trading when you can learn it yourself on: March 18, 2024, 08:35:46 AM
I always say don't pay money to learn trading, but what I really mean is don't pay money if you think it'll make you more money.

True, you can learn everything on your own, well almost everything, but I actually don't mind paying for entrance into some of those learning channels.

Not talking about dumb signals or follow trades, that's a scam.

Talking about those like on Discord, you go in, watch some guy showing you how to build real charts in real time, as markets move etc. They're so good at teaching you advanced charting in minutes, rather than in hours reading a manual and figuring out what's goes where Smiley

Not saying to throw money away but money spent on education is never a waste IMO.

I have taken on MB an "insurance" Return with the sport bet where I have done best this year, anyway, very tight given the bear market, we were at +72k and we receive at +68k, oh! I'm sorry, this is a sports betting board.  Cool

Are any of you adjusting the mbtc you're betting because of ATH? I realized recently I didn't do that, so am in fact making bigger bets than last year just by keeping the mbtc total.

I 'lost' more because of that but I guess when I win more it will make up for it  Tongue

Nice win btw, I've been doing nothing but loosing all this time.

I'm tying it all on Arsenal and Barca to progress Tongue

Yeah, I think there would be a huge consensus on Arsenal chances of qualification if a poll were to be held here, but Barcelona are rather radioactive you really can’t tell what to expect, and the same goes for PSG.

The number of posts that suggested Napoli would even eliminate Barça in the last round was enough of to draw an opinion of what could possibly go down in the game.

I like this term you say for Barca, radioactive and I think it is a perfect description to use for this team these days. Last season it was pure stable isotope, 1-0 wins so many times and dependable formation etc.

But the fans said it was too boring and predictable so now they become radioactive with highly unstable half life Wink

One day they can lose to shit team, other day they are capable to wipe the floor with any opponent.

I put my trust in the radioactive La Masia!

I agree about Aston Villa - Lille also. The highest quality draw among all is this one. Aston Villa should be able to advance to semi finals though but Lille can resist more than Ajax I think.

The current odds for the biggest favourites to become the champions:

- Aston Villa - 2.80
- Fiorentina - 4.50
- Lille - 6.50
- Fenerbahçe - 7.00

I think all the teams here will have their fans imagining the best. Fenerbahce is the dark player, I think all Turkish teams at the top are capable of winning at any time of the day, at the same time even a fancy team like Villa can play like shit, so I don't know if the odds are accurate. For Villa everything seems to rely on Ollie Watkins, he was slightly injured too, gash on leg, that can spell bad things for them.

Fiorentina, no idea.

Do you guys feel that it's a little "weird" feeling that teams you have basically no idea about normally, I mean you do not follow them or anything, you just check their scores and all that, and odds, that you support maybe even more than some fans on betting day?

I mean we are talking about something that is a bit weird to me, I do not support any of these teams, and probably never checked over half of their squad too, I know some players in all of them, but if you tell me to count the best eleven of these squads, I could probably do it for Villa, and even that's doubtful, whereas I can't do it for any other team %100 guaranteed. So me, supporting these, just because I bet on them, like I am a fan for the past 30 years, is a little weird feeling Cheesy.

I only check scores, but I never support, just hoping for certain results. This is mainly because I play Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League so everything is covered there Wink

But it's not like I totally never know anything about them. You can do best 11 for Villa? I can only do 5 maybe. Watkins, Martinez, Cash... oops only 3 lol.

You should be in the Premier League pool, why don't you join?

In fact I hardly see you sharing bets on EPL, or am I missing them? Wink

Can't believe I won tennis point lol

Hoping Chelsea win big today, and Barca win, otherwise game over for me.

Caroline Wozniacki retired, IIRC this is second competition in a row Swiatek benefits from retiring opponents, is this common in tennis? I understand if people retire from injury but is there ever other reason to retire in tennis?
So, I can’t help but feel for players who had to retire in certain games, I’ve lost a couple of points on Zverev, Alcaraz, Sinner and more on Rune over the course of 4 season of BSFL and I’ve anticipated most of these games with complete anticipation but the you the players even in a more worrying state and can’t help but feel absolute pity and sorry for them.

I can never enjoy any moment that a sports person is injured. Even for my worst 'enemy' Real Madrid, and the most vile player Ramos, sometimes I felt happy knowing he was not playing a match for some small injury, great, but especially when longterm or affecting career you don't wish that kind of bad luck on anyone, it's like robbing them of pure joy to play.

So throw caution to the wind as most who bet on these horse races would say.

I can't agree more here. That's totally random so if you get a freebet, throw it on the biggest odds lol

Then again caution to the wind also means you can end up like me. Damn you Lyon, you had to give Toulouse a penalty, and the stats? Toulouse give the most penalties at home, and never got one at home yet, that's the way the cookie crumbles as they say booo!

Historical results might not likely take precedence in this year's tournament Quarter Finals, I'm sure quite a handful players would back Arsenal and probably PSG even on away grounds if the fixtures were to be played today.

The first leg at the Emirates could make a difference for Arsenal because Bayern Munich are terrible away from home; they perform well with their fans behind them, and if Arsenal want to advance, they must kill the game at home; if they somehow push the game to Germany with a close aggregate margin, they will be eliminated.

Tuchel was Arteta's bitch .... Didn't win a single game against him. Is Arteta going to fuck him again? Huh

Both have kinda different teams available to them now. Mbappe of course is also on a different level now, every game he plays is like a demo for Real Madrid. I mean he is for sure going there but I think he will be able to get even better contract if PSG wins UCL and because of him. That has to not happen for me to be happy though.

I have a big feeling Arsenal can win the home leg, like you said, then it all depends on the Munich situation.

I'm tying it all on Arsenal and Barca to progress Tongue

Finally Real Sociedad get a win, and ALL of us predicted it correctly but TWELVE of you people got it exact. Was 2-0 the most likely scoreline on odds or are you all just crazy good at this lol

Anyway, both Girona and Real Madrid are playing away. I'm tempted to chase some losses by playing Double Chance for both home teams, I have a feeling it will be one of them who throws away points today. No Bellingham, remember.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Group Stage playoffs on: March 16, 2024, 09:28:31 AM
Ajax in England now, this match is actually the most exciting one in the night to me, even in Europa the 'best' choice is Roma Brighton or Marseiile-Villareal, but none of those clubs are both recently exciting to see like Ajax-Villa, agree?
I do agree that Ajax vs Aston Villa will feel a little bit like early finals game. I am not saying that winner of that game will go on to win it all, last year I said the same thing for Barcelona vs United and I failed, but it is definitely two great teams without a doubt. If you want to watch any conference league games this season, I am sure this should be at the top of the list.

I think Aston Villa may have a better chance, Ajax hasn't done so well in recent years and I think Aston Villa has been on the up lately as well. This is a knock off stage game so we would never know ,anything could happen so we should be ready for any result. I wagered on Villa to win but I had no confidence in that bet at all to be fair.

And so it all came and it all proved me and you wrong.

No final should ever end like Aston Villa Ajax scoreline man, 4-0? I don't think I ever saw a final like this before so you know it's good riddance of Ajax for sure.

Ajax has only not done so well in past 2 seasons though, I mean compared to Villa?

Anyway, Lille Villa is now the best match to look forward to. No offense to Greek and Turkey affair Smiley
319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reliable, low fee(s) exchange on: March 15, 2024, 11:38:22 AM
Not in love with Binance but they're actually the closest to being the best at being fast and cheap. Even with all the bad stuff going on they're the most reliable in my opinion.

Just my advice however, do full KYC first before you even think to deposit.

Don't like KYC, then you won't find a reliable exchange.

Sooo fellas, I tried to rate the Thursday's EL/Conference question, but decided against it. It was a semi-rough night and I really need some sleep, I would probably mess it up anyway.
A tight schedule with SB tomorrow, so it will probably be graded in the evening.

I managed to see that I won the point against slaman29 though Grin

I tried to check and compare the result between myself and Jayce but after several tries, I gave up based on how distanced how results are from each other due to the time difference between when we both submitted, but I just summed it up to the fact that he might have gotten that point since he went with 4 Yes to the question, and I think the result is an all Yes one right ?

Mafia always wins no matter what. If I go all Yes or mostly Yes, teams will fail but of course if I go mostly No, suddenly West Ham score 5 and so on, it's just impossible lol

Brutal round for me and notblox1 but at least I see many reds, so I don't feel so bad.

Caroline Wozniacki retired, IIRC this is second competition in a row Swiatek benefits from retiring opponents, is this common in tennis? I understand if people retire from injury but is there ever other reason to retire in tennis?
