After playing a really tough game against PSG and losing it, Marseille are going to have another difficult one. It is against Rennes away and their job is really challenging.

Rennes defeated PSG home with a really satisfying score as you can remember. They can do the same to Marseille home as well. Marseille aren't having a good time recently. After the loss versus PSG this time they lost to a weak second league team in the Coupe de France and they are out of the cup now. These things both can make a very negative impact on them. But I still think Marseille will find a way to get at least one point in this tough game.

Union Berlin started a bad form for two weeks by not getting any win. I can understand the loss versus Bayern Munich but the one against Schalke that they got a draw was unexpected. Maybe this could be a sign of another lasting bad series for them in the league but we will see. Their next game is a home one against Koln. I can't say Koln are in a good shape at all. As long as Union Berlin don't get very comfortable they should be winning this.

But I still don't expect an amazing effort until the end of the season. They would get behind Dortmund and Bayern Munich quite much at some point. But even if they finish the season in top 4 it would still be great for them.

Milan's work is going to be quite difficult against Fiorentina really but it isn't a very far possibility that they win either.

Fiorentina can be one of the challenging opponents for the biggest title contenders indeed. But I still see them weak these days. Their form recently is not good at all. While being in a bad shape they might have some problems with defending maybe. Milan have started to improve their effectiveness at scoring goals. This can be a good opportunity for them to get a win there. They are trying to stay in top four until the end of the season and they need to maintain this effort as much as possible.

I'm afraid Newcastle's bad form is likely to continue to be seen. Because I don't think they can steal any point in Etihad. I remember their previous game against each other in which Newcastle did so actually.

But now Newcastle are in bad condition considering their recent results. And Manchester City are in a title race which is getting more serious week by week. I don't expect Manchester City to care about the league less than the Champions League. Guardiola would motivate his players to perform properly in the remaining league games. They have a wonderful lineup in the end and all they need to do is to keep their focus high. I think not only them but also Arsenal will close the week by a win.

It was a very interesting game honestly. Real Madrid had so many goal attempts but none of them was on target as well. This can be the weirdest game for them in this season because of that. It must be painful not to take advantage of their domination during the game. I really appreciate Barcelona for their hard-fought victory as well because they didn't even have Lewandowski here.

Now they have captured a great advantage before the second leg. It is hard to predict the result of this matchup still. But if Barcelona have Lewandowski in that one then they can increase their probability of eliminating them more.

It was another game in which Liverpool could have made another point loss. Because despite the dominance with their game they still struggled a lot to score the goal to get ahead.

After Nunez's goal was disallowed I was like that was it. But thankfully they finally broke the deadlock later on and the second goal followed it. Getting a win was important for them of course but I'm still not trusting them at all. They are just struggling against every team in the league. They just can't make things going like that. Liverpool need to do much more than this by keeping a lasting winning streak in the league to be convincing.

Napoli - Lazio is going to be the opening game for the new week. Napoli are very clearly the favourite to win the game of course. The gap with even Inter is still enormous for Napoli. They would make sure that it stays the same way after this game. I don't give Lazio much chance in this. Maybe they aren't a weak team normally but it doesn't matter for Napoli.

Napoli are just like unstoppable against every kind of opponent they have in the league. The ultimate goal is to win the title in the end and I don't think they would stumble in this game either.

Neymar is still one of the very important players for PSG now in my opinion. Maybe he had some personal issues in the team but they still showed a really good performance so far. The attacking trio is strong thanks to all of the members of it. Neymar is just a little injury-prone so this might be a problem for the team. But he doesn't get injured often from now on as well.

I hope that he recovers as soon as possible now. For the Champions League title PSG need all of their productive players on the field. This is another important season for them to take the first title in the Champions League finally.

It was hell of a destruction by Arsenal against Everton. I was expecting them to get a comfortable win actually but this was even more than that. Maybe they couldn't put on a show in Goodison Park but now they have made up for that. With the help of winning their missing game Arsenal have captured a safer gap with Manchester City. From now on their priority will be to keep this gap no matter what.

They have the strength to beat all the teams in the league actually. They just need to continue to play bravely and focusedly. They can get back their old form in no time.

I still have big expectations from PSG even though they lost the first leg by 1-0. Nothing has finished for them and the away game in the second leg is also winnable for them.

I remember one time PSG beat Bayern Munich here again by 3-2. Maybe the same scenario will be seen again. However this time there is no away goal rule to advance to next stage. Therefore we might be likely to watch extra time and even penalties. I just don't think any side would manage to finish the job in 90 minutes. Mbappe and Messi will have big responsibilities to carry the team for certain if Neymar isn't able to play.

Dortmund are much more reassuring than Leipzig on paper maybe. It is due to Dortmund's still continuing winning streak of course. But it wouldn't be sensible to believe in them completely anyway in my opinion. Because this is a big game for them technically and they should be ready for any kind of a result. I just don't expect them to lose anyway. A draw by seeing goals from both sides would be likely as well.

If Adeyemi and Moukoko both become absent then Haller will have a big responsibility in the attacking line. But he seems quite passionate after his returnal to the team.

Roma - Juventus would be a quite interesting game really. Roma are favoured to win but the odd gap is not that big either.

Juventus have been on a really impressive winning streak in the league. It has become four games with the win over Torino recently. Their performance against Torino in offense especially was incredible. Maybe they have got a punishment in the standings but they still look decisive to climb as many points as possible. Their job will be really difficult in an away game against Roma. But it doesn't feel like they will lose while they are in good shape. I expect Juventus not to lose this so double chance on them is my favourite pick.

Betis aren't a comfortable opponent for the Red Devils on paper actually. However Manchester United are still quite stronger than them of course. After seeing the way they eliminated Barcelona I just believe they have the strength to go until the end. They are definitely deserving a chance in the finale to make it to the title. It is all up to how much they care about their games here from now on.

As they have a significant chance for winning another title I don't think they won't care about the Europa League. Arsenal seem to be the team that can make them the biggest difficulties here.

Real Madrid must be grateful for Almeria to have won against Barcelona. While we were expecting the point gap to become 10 points Real Madrid just got closer to them by one point. But this doesn't happen very often as well. Real Madrid need to take advantage of this kind of rare situations with becoming victorious. Otherwise there is no way they have are standing a chance about catching up with Barcelona.

There are still 15 more games to be played in the season. Real Madrid aren't late for anything but they just need to win every single one of their games and look for Barcelona's new mistakes.

Real Madrid are still continuing to be Liverpool's nightmare in the Champions League. They are really haunting them and Liverpool are just so desperate to do anything against them. This season is something else for Liverpool. They are having the worst season since Klopp's arrival at the team. We all saw how this reflected on the Real Madrid game as well.

After this horrible defeat I don't expect a miracle from Liverpool obviously. Real Madrid can get another win in Santiago Bernabeu and seal the deal. Maybe Real Madrid are really dominating this tournament in general but Liverpool still should be able to do more with a squad like this normally.

The winning goal finally came for Lazio in the last ten minutes and they got the win. We are seeing them in top 4 temporarily but this is very likely to change as well.

Because Roma are going to play against Cremonese and I think it will end up with a victory for Roma. I remember their Coppa Italia game which ended quite surprisingly. It is time to have their revenge on Cremonese. The Serie A is a much more serious tournament in the end so I expect Roma to show a more impressive level of performance for the win. It might just not be by a big goal gap.

Villarreal made a really bad start to the game maybe but they have made a comeback later on thankfully.

They are still leading by 2-1 but it is still a quite risky score though. Villarreal really need this win after a losing streak for four weeks in the league. Something has been going terrible for them and it is hard to discover the reason. This bad form has affected them really badly in the standings as well. They need to fix their issues at once if they want to qualify for a tournament. Winning this game would be a big help. They are the better playing side so they shouldn't give this away to Getafe.

I really can't trust Liverpool about any game anymore and this is really frustrating actually. They don't deserve to be like this of course.

But somehow they are still being unsuccessful about improving their form. The embarrassing loss against Real Madrid has made things even worse for them. They couldn't score even one goal against Crystal Palace the last time. The gap with the fourth position has reached 9 points already. This week they have a home game against Wolves. I hope they won't make a simple mistake here again. They really need a reassuring win to gather themselves up.

Marseille were really bad against PSG this time and I wonder why. Because their general performance in the league so far has been really impressive.

They were in a good form and shape as well before this game. I would have expected them to resist PSG more than that. The defensive weaknesses cost them too big. Mbappe and Messi were so comfortable with making incredible assists to each other and finishing the game early as well. Now the gap has become 8 points between these teams in the standings. PSG can go for making the gap much bigger than this from now on maybe.

Lazio were actually really effective in the first half. But still they couldn't score a goal. And now there is more balance in the game. Sampdoria shouldn't be a team that Lazio have difficulties against normally. But somehow they are still struggling to find the goal to get ahead. Sampdoria stole one point from Inter not much time ago as well and they might do the same to Lazio too.

I just don't understand big teams in the league sometimes. Sampdoria are literally one of the worst teams in the league now.
