I don't see anyone rumoured to be Milan's new centre-forward these days. Lukaku was rumoured for a short time but it went away. Because Lukaku was prioritizing to join Inter instead. Now Milan don't seem to be in a rush to finish a striker signing. But they had better work on this situation as they are in need of one.

Origi and Giroud can't be reliable anymore. As long as they have big goals in the Serie A they have no other sensible choice other than signing a much more credible striker. A young and talented or a credible experienced striker can be a great use for them. There is already Leao's great contribution and together with it they can be much more productive.

Barcelona have completed Vitor Roque signing finally for a 40 million euros transfer fee. He is only an 18-year-old centre-forward right now. He must be seen as a wonderkid that Barcelona allocated the money they can spend this summer for him mostly. However this transfer won't happen now. The deal is going to be completed officially and he will join the team by July 2024.

It is similar to what Real Madrid did for Endrick from Palmeiras. Not exactly the same though because Real Madrid have no choice other than waiting for him due to age issue in his country. These are all investments into their futures and I wonder which one of these players will develop more.
2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 12, 2023, 11:08:01 PM
There are two players being prioritized for certain areas. One of them is Onana and the other one is Hojlund. Onana deal is soon being completed though as they have been only trying to find a middle way about the transfer fee with Inter. They have been in need of a striker on one hand and they are likely to increase the number of attempts they make on Hojlund transfer.

Hojlund is a really young striker and maybe he might need quite much time to give the expected performance to the Red Devils. But they seem okay with this when we look at their interest in him.

I think Dybala is doing the right thing by choosing to stay at Roma rather than joining Chelsea. Because Chelsea seem to have an intention to make a bigger striker signing on one hand. It would be doubtful how much time he would be able to play there. Besides Dybala doesn't even have any experience outside Italy.

Therefore we don't know if this transfer would end up well for him. Maybe he would have adaptation problems and his career would go to a worse point. Dybala is still quite useful for Roma now. His release clause is nothing maybe but Dybala wants to stay anyway so there is no need to worry about this for Roma.

I don't blame Tuchel for anything for now. I'm just waiting for next season to see what this team will do for real. Because now Tuchel has a lot of time to prepare the team for a new journey. He had better use this opportunity effectively. As long as they complete the striker signing we should be seeing a more stable team already.

After that it will all depend on using the right game strategies. Tuchel is a Champions League winner manager as you know. He is a really great tactician and it was wonderful how Chelsea made it to the title with him. He would surely aim the same thing this season even though the job is quite difficult. If we see a consistent team then I expect them to be much more competitive in the Champions League unlike the previous season.

The chance to get kane is bigger compared with osimhen. Bayern may ready to increase its budget even higher compared with the last offer.

Harry Kane has said he doesn't want to stay in Tottenham Hotspur this summer. I think he realize that age is no longer in his side about clocking 30 years with no trophy. His contract should official expire by next year but he wants to make a fast move either to Bayern or Manchester city. I Daniel Levy should allow him to go , he has given part of his youth playing days to Tottenham so going to a club where he can celebrate trophy with team mates is a good idea for him.

There would have been no meaning in that if he still wanted to stay from now on. He has just wasted his years at Tottenham while he could have won many titles so far. On the other hand Tottenham chairman was also very stubborn about not letting him go either. Otherwise Kane would have left the team already to join a bigger team.

Bayern Munich have already been making offers to reach an agreement with Tottenham. They are the most likely team to sign him these days. Aside from that I assume you wanted to say Manchester United not Manchester City. Manchester City were interested in him before signing Haaland but not anymore. Manchester United are said to be interested in him now but there is still no offer.

Bellingham is a versatile player indeed. Even though his main position is right at the centre he is more like an attacking midfielder. Because we have watched him playing just like that for Dortmund so far. He can make a big contribution to attacks by goals as well. When we think Real Madrid are playing fast attacking football Bellingham is fitting there great.

Right now we are just waiting for a striker transfer and after that Real Madrid should be good to go for next season. They have already strengthened the midfield quite much. The defense line is also in good condition. At least I wouldn't expect a big transfer to these areas now.

Williams technically has the worst car on the grid. However Albon's work recently definitely deserves to be appreciated. If he can maintain this success in the race as well he can finish this week with even points. But it wouldn't be easy for him while he doesn't have a very reliable car about durability. Still Williams must be very contented with Albon's effort.

Hamilton and Russell couldn't get a good spot in qualifying. However Norris' challenge for the pole position and finishing in second place must have made British supporters really happy. They would like to see one of the British drivers on the grid to finish on podium. I wonder if that can be Norris this time.  Smiley
Looks like they might not have the worst car anymore. I agree that it looked like that for many years but I feel like they figured something out and have a decent car now. It's not just albon, even sergeant had a good result for a while and he did as best as he could when he can. Long story short, I am not saying they are top 5 right away, but they are not the worst anymore neither, they are doing as well as they could hope for and I am expecting Albon to finish within top 10 this week, that is a possibility.

It's a whole long season and sometimes teams that started terrible could end up with a good result, we are seeing that clearly with Mclaren, and we can say that Williams are not on the wrong path neither, they are doing fine.

Yeah maybe I'm wrong about it considering the latest a few races. Especially this race was a sign of some good improvement as you said. Williams was a dominant team in the distant past. I would really like to see Williams reaching a top level to be able to compete harder with the biggest teams in the future.

Alfa Romeo and especially AlphaTauri are the biggest disappointments of this season actually. They are so inadequate about developing their cars at an enough level that they are very slow.

Yeah there is a big space in the squad after the departures' coming one by one. But they are a rich team now so there is no need to worry about enough money to fill all of their places. They will just be busier than they thought for sure in this transfer window. But as long as they can find the right players this is still going to be an advantageous window for them.

It is like nearly every area of the squad needs to be consolidated now. I will be hopeful about Pochettino to bring good players to the team. He has a big level of Premier League experience so he should be able to pick the right players for Chelsea.

The number of rumours about Vlahovic to leave the team is increasing day by day. This time I have heard that there might be a deal between Juventus and Chelsea like 25 million euros cash + Lukaku. If I were in Chelsea's shoes I would have taken this deal and move on. Because they already have no plans for Lukaku as I can see.

After paying only 25 million euros they can allocate even more money for other transfers among their targets. But Juventus would need to convince Lukaku to choose them instead of Inter. I feel like it wouldn't be an easy task considering Lukaku's attitude recently. But one way or another Juventus can lose Vlahovic so they had better have a plan B for a probable striker transfer.
2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 10, 2023, 09:36:26 PM
I don't even know why Tottenham are interested in bringing Lukaku. There is no need for a striker in the team. There is a substitute player for Kane already like Richarlison. Lukaku wouldn't find much chance to play from Kane in the Premier League. He should join where he can have more time to play.
Lukaku may have a chance to change totenham so much. Totenham has kane but this guy is not able giving trophy for the club. Totenham may think if it's time to sell kane and then move to the lukaku as a new striker.
It may become one of important step that gonna be taken by totenham but the problem is now lukaku was rejecting an offer from totenham.
Chelsea is very angry caused by lukaku has not been showing respect to the chelsea. Chelsea shall sell him as soon as possible.
Lukaku will not be useful for the club next season.

Do you really think that Kane is the problem behind why Tottenham can't win a single title for years? I don't agree with you upon that. Harry Kane has been playing for Tottenham properly since the 2013/2014 season. The last time Tottenham won any kind of title was in the 2007/2008 season which was an English League Cup title.

Apart from that Kane's performance has been wonderful so far. Especially last season was like his peak performance in his career or near that. Because while Tottenham were dropping down to lower positions he was still trying to keep them standing still by scoring so many goals. The main problem of this team is the lack of effective team play in my opinion.
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 10, 2023, 08:35:17 AM
Dortmund started to have a strong interest in their old player Jadon Sancho. The Red Devils signed him for 85 million euros and his market value was 90 million euros when he first arrived there. However in time his value has been cut by half. Because he hasn't been as impressive as he was while playing for Dortmund.

If Dortmund sign him again for an amount around his current market value they would still be in a really nice profit. He was really much more productive at Dortmund and it looks like he can't adapt to the Premier League or Manchester United now. I think he should go back to Dortmund before he loses his value more.

I wonder how PSG are going to fill Messi's place. Or have they done it already? I don't know if they are seeing the Asensio transfer as a replacement for Messi. But on the other hand there are striker transfer rumours circulating. Maybe they will have Mbappe on Messi's wing and a new striker at the centre.

But haven't made a single offer to any striker yet. While Bayern Munich are increasing their offer and getting close to Kane signing PSG don't seem interested at all. Then maybe they can go for a much younger and skilled scorer instead. Vlahovic could be a decent option for example if they don't want to pay a much higher amount.
PSG had many departures in fact. Let's start with the whole attack line, starting with Messi place, going to Mbappe which seems to quit the team so they don't lose him for free, Neymar which is absent and might go as well. Sergio Ramos also.
In the other hand, PSG have a lot of players and some positions have like 5 or more options. The problem isn't the quality of these players but how they could play together and win together as a team.
For example, Ekiteke was bought from Reims permanently, Hernandez joined the team from Bayern, Ugarte, Skriniar, Asensio are now available options to count on.
The other problem for PSG is to reduce the number of players by letting them go whether by selling them or by loaning them back.

Yeah they have announced many players recently and there are returnees after their loan spells ended as well. I don't know how many of these returnees would be kept in the team though. But now or next season PSG are definitely going to enter a rebuilding phase for their attacking line. Mbappe will have left the team and Neymar would also do the same in my opinion.

Considering this summer let's say both of them stayed. Then as I said I think PSG will still sign a centre-forward. Fabrizio Romano also tweeted about PSG's interest in Vlahovic now. Currently they seem like the only team interested in signing him.
2034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 10, 2023, 08:20:01 AM
Real Madrid's main target in this transfer window seems to make the squad even younger. So far they have made a huge signing like Bellingham (20) and they have signed Arda Guler (18) recently who is also said to have a really good potential for the future. Fran Garcia (23) is another transfer for left-back position.

Joselu is the only old player among these transfers but I assume Real Madrid won't think of using him in the starting eleven in most of the matches. Now people are wondering who is going to fill Benzema's place. If it doesn't happen to be Mbappe I will still be expecting a satisfying level of striker transfer by them.
You missed with one player Brahim Diaz still young age on 23 years old, excited with Real Madrid players composition dominance by young players and there are more compete to get regular position. Have one position still not filled yet as center forward, although sign Joselu seems not enough for Real Madrid and has possibility or not fill by young player? Hope Mbappe get deal with Real Madrid and next season we can see all line position filled by young player in Madrid except still some senior players from Toni Kroos (33), Luka Modric (37), Thibaut Courtois (31) and Dani Carvajal (31).

Will dominance by young age players make Real Madrid have mentality for winning La Liga, Copa del Rey and UEFA Champion League tittles next season?

Of course there is Brahim Diaz as well but he was already a Real Madrid player and he has just come back to the team now. I wanted to mention especially the new signings. Maybe they might loan Brahim Diaz again to Milan who knows by the way. Milan must have been contented with his effort this season.

Joselu is even a loan player at Real Madrid now. I think this clearly shows that Real Madrid have brought him just to increase the alternatives in his position. The real centre-forward transfer is still expected to be made in the coming days. Today I even saw a rumour linking Ronaldo with them but it is nonsense to me now.
2035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 10, 2023, 08:12:54 AM
Chelsea are thinking of loaning David Datro Fofana to a team now. He has a long term contract with the team like 6 years now. It looks like he doesn't have much chance to play for them right now but it would depend on his effort in the team he will go to. If he impresses Chelsea then maybe we can start seeing him in the Premier League more often.

Besides there are so many centre-forwards in the team now and Chelsea are even thinking of making another signing to the position as well. They will need to deal with the situation well to prevent players from complaining about the number of alternatives for the position.

MU is finding hojlund as a good alternative striker compared with chelsea. Even though that move was a gamble but hojlund's price is also affordable. It's not a big lose if he will not able to perform so well on his new club.
Buying osimhen is also gamble. No guarantee if osimhen will perform as good as when he was playing for napoli. it's all still gamble.

Hojlund is a promising striker. But for now I don't have big hopes about him to just come to the Premier League and score so many goals in his first season already. His scoring performance wasn't so impressive at Atalanta this season. He isn't a striker like Haaland no matter how promising he is now.

If Manchester United want to be competitive for the Premier League title I think they should go for a more experienced or effective scorer. Hojlund would just be an investment into the future of the team. They might need to be quite patient to see him shining. But this is all an assumption of course depending on his performance so far.

These days Liverpool seem interested in only defensive players.
Liverpool are more interested in improving their midfield rather than their defense, they have quite a lot of problems in midfield and i think that's where most of their troubles stemmed from last season (though they were also bad defensively). Liverpool have signed both Mac Allister and Szoboszlai, two very good (and young) midfielders, i still expect Liverpool to sign at least one more midfielder as well as a defender and a striker. Jurgen Klopp's team were unable to challenge City for the title last season, but i think they are going to do that next season, but City still remain favorites of course.

Liverpool had a weakness in Harvey Elliott's position. Because he is still a very young and inadequate player for the starting eleven in my opinion. But now they have dealt with the situation really well so far. After Mac Allister transfer to the attacking midfield Szoboszlai was also brought to the position. Now they will have a much more reliable midfield than before.

They need definitely a defensive midfielder as well right now. Because except Fabinho there is Bajcetic who is 18 years old and doesn't have much experience. This must be why they want to strengthen this area more as well. After that I think they wouldn't go for more midfielders.

Indeed it was a great performance by McLaren today. The development of the car has reached a really serious level these days and the drivers are also taking advantage of it more day by day. Piastri also started to adapt here more and he showed it by his great performance in the British GP. Maybe he lost the podium chance to Hamilton but this is still a huge improvement for him.

Norris has such great skills that I wish McLaren can give him a much faster car in the future. This might be like the sign of resurrection of McLaren maybe who knows. They can at least become the second best team even if they can't compete with Red Bull at a similar level.
