Site has been back up for a few hours, our dev managed to stop the first attack to the website. Unfortunately I'm going to have to shut off the site for now as our deposits are not working currently, likely due to ddos. I'm terribly sorry for any inconvenience this is causing anyone. Some guy trying to extort us for money is ruining everyone's fun. Ahhh! I just sent a email to PD support about the deposit before I saw this. I wouldn't be surprised if it's that same guy who's was trying to extort the black market and big gambling sites a few months back. People who give into these guys are only making it worse as they feel it's just that easy..If it were me, instead of paying the "protection" money I would use that and get a couple other sites to hire and form a group of some of the best hackers to prevent or fight back... Anyway, do what you guys got to do to get the site back up and fully functional. Hope it won't take to long I'm starting to go through withdrawl. Lol  I wonder if anyone has ever paid a ddoser to stop hitting their site offline. Anything you pay a person like this will just encourage them and others to continue doing it. Hey, You did nothing wrong, the ddos was effecting our deposits. When our dev gets on everything will be settled and everyone who encountered issues will be compensated with a bonus. Until then I'm extremely sorry for this hassle. Any coins in PD should not be effected. As always if anything goes wrong on our part please know that you will never lose any coins unfairly, we will pay out of our pocket to make sure everything is more than alright. |

Sorry to hear that, I'm glad you had fun though! Unfortunately PrimeDice is currently down due to a malicious ddos attack. The person executing it named "primedicedown" added me on skype and demanded money to stop doing it, I made it perfectly clear that I would never reward someone for this. I'm choosing to stand by my word and blocked him on skype. It's unfortunate that there are people like this, but really nothing I can do but improve ddos protection. |

so Primecoin for Primedice, will it happen? If there is enough demand for it in the future, absolutely. Right now though I feel like there aren't enough people asking for this to warrant adding it. Probably wouldn't be difficult to implement in the future though. Hey just tried your site it was fun. At first I was nervous so I researched the heck out of your site in this forum. I saw you excellent pr skills and honesty through out the thread. I saw you sportsmanship when you lost some 300 bitcoin on opening. It is your attitude that got me past my nervousness. What is PD Pro going to be?
A completely new dice experience coming soon! Can't share any details yet, will be out soon enough. Is this in response to Just-Dice competition? The initial plans for a redesign came to fruition before j-d launched. Quite frankly I wasn't 100% satisfied with our initial final website, it was lacking in many features which should be core to any gambling site. We've broken down our upgrades into a "tick-tock" model, new PrimeDice will come out and we will phase out the old PrimeDice as PD1 is not nearly as great in any regard. Within the coming weeks after that we'll be working in small new features, within a month hopefully an additional big feature. Our aim right now is to complete a small amount of back-end work that needs to be done, put on final touches and test. We want to put more emphasis on testing this time around as PD1 was initially mired by major issues which hampered the experiences for our bettors such as the slow roll speeds people experienced on and off for the first few weeks. I want to say that we will launch this within a week, it is easily possible but I want to ensure that it is perfect. That being said it will launch when it meets our standards. We're also looking to give more back to the community which we had initially intended, there will be a variety of giveaways/competitions for both gamblers and non-gamblers in the coming months. One of the ways we want to do this is by bringing back our btc bonuses through some sort of faucet specific to each account that can't be abused by bots. Can't promise that this will be present in the first iteration. Going back to your question though, we're hoping to keep pushing and raise the bar. Dooglus has done an incredible job especially when you take into account that j-d has only been around a bit over a month and the fact that he's more or less a one man team not counting his investors. Any thoughts about copying the "be the bank" model J-D has used to great success? It is the big bankroll at J-D which attracts the whales due to the large max bets. Something which would be tough to compete with otherwise. Certainly something I've considered. Alternatively, my partners and I could buy more bitcoins and raise our max bet. I tried out Pikapay which is a twitter payment system, it seems to work pretty well. The only downside I found with it is that you have to give them permissions on your twitter account so I don't see it being mainstream anytime soon. I think that is the only operating twitter tipper the old one shut down.

I mean, the implication is someone is abusing the system, making 40,000 accounts to get 4 BTC per day. Not necessarily gambling them.
I think the intention was to gamble with the accounts, so use a high multiplier and keep going till one wins. |

Ignore these, if anyone is stupid enough to believe that sort of manipulation then they aren't the type of people we want in our community. The goal of bitcoin shouldn't be to spread to as many people or buyers as possible but rather to make as much of a positive impact as possible, we could do without more volatility.
