3121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies & tips from professional players on: February 05, 2021, 09:54:32 PM
I don't belong to the many who thinks that it's only won by luck, that's absurd, otherwise people would not be interested on coming back trying their discovered strategy. There's a risk, or the chances that many not favor us but we have to understand that's how casino works, they always have the advantage but that doesn't mean we don't have a chance to win.

Those who are telling it's just based on luck, they maybe are not a real gambler, or haven't tried gambling in their life yet.

People who knows gambling and experience it, tells otherwise, the only tips i can tell is to be responsible, set up a bankroll you can afford to lose and manage it properly, win or loss, you'll be able to handle it.
3122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather vs Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) on: February 05, 2021, 09:24:34 PM
We're all hoping that a Mike Tyson vs Floyd Mayweather matchup happens at some point.  Would love to see another 30 second 1st round KO from the champ before he disappears from the boxing scene again.

I never thought it will happen, but if it will, I still doubt if Mike Tyson could KO Mayweather.
Mayweather knows the reputation of Mike Tyson and he will always use his classic strategy which is the hit and run, and the right will be boring.
3123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 05, 2021, 09:08:53 PM
~snip~
I was able to watch this game. My expectation when the game started is that this is gonna be an easy game for the Mavs and they're playing on their home court.

Oubre Jr. did really fired up at the last quarter. While for the Mavs, it's Porzingis that got 25 pts. Is Golden State Warriors back? the standing isn't that back at all.

Your expectations are the same as everyone else as the odds are against the Mavs -4 point spread, and the result was a very unexpected win from the GSW.
I haven't watched the game, but I guess the Warriors may have a chance for the playoffs as they are rebuilding with the young talents they have this season. But they have no chance in winning the championship this season without Klay. So, I should say, the GSW ain't back yet, they're still in a rebuilding process.

-4 at home is not that heavy favorites, you can expect either team to win, especially the Warriors who are doing good this season despite missing KT. Remember, Warriors also beat the Lakers at home, they beat the defending champion, so it's also possible to beat the Dallas Mavericks.
3124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: February 05, 2021, 01:01:19 PM
I believe that bnb is now very overvalued and in the next month, the price will be adjusted to 45-48 dollars. The market is cyclical, so we should be prepared for such a fall...
How it can be overvalued? BNB has made fairly 2x when DOT and ADA has made 5x
BNb has underperformed almost all top10 coins in recent months

I think it is wise to make some partial profit-not saying bnb but every coin

There's no point of debating whether BNB is overvalued or not because there's no correct answer, the only answer that will prove us right if we are making money buying and selling BNB. just take DOGE for example, some people think it's overvalued as it pump recently but some think it's still undervalued as there's a coming pump, and we can't say they are moron because they made some money on the DOGE pump.

What happen is they see it coming, we didn't /
3125  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin's price drop to 30K healthy? on: February 05, 2021, 12:35:40 PM
https://www.fr24news.com/a/2021/01/analysts-say-bitcoin-price-drop-to-30k-was-healthy-and-necessary.html

Analysts say Bitcoin price drop to $ 30K was ‘healthy and necessary’

That was a pretty good analysis, after being around the 40,000 USD mark BTC actually dropped down to close below 30,000 USD. I think this drop was needed to show investors that the price is not only pure short term trading and can sustain such high levels in the future. At the moment we are at 37,000 USD again and back on track to reach the 40,000 USD.

Very close to $40k now, 24 hours high per Binance exchange is $38,110 (https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT).. Soon a $40k will show up as when bitcoin is bullish, people would ride it, and that's what I'm seeing now.
3126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE To The Moon on: February 05, 2021, 11:57:56 AM
if you check the charts , you will see some kind of patern , like every 3-4 years this happens and it began in 2013-14 next bullrun was 2017-18 and now 2020-2021.
next time if i buy doge ( under 20 sats)  , i will hold to  it till the next run or till the end of doge ...

Interesting, so what's going to happen next? Are we going to see a big dump, then the market will be in a bear market before bitcoin will start to rise again? If that pattern will still happen, then probably lots of people are already waiting for it and they will buy DOGE cheap again or accumulate in preparation of the next pump.
3127  Economy / Economics / Re: Out of Reach on: February 04, 2021, 10:44:39 PM
I wouldn’t say it’s out of reach. I don’t see where it’s written everyone must buy one Bitcoin. I have seen a few people who tell me that they can’t afford to buy Bitcoin, and when I ask them why I find out it’s because they have plans to buy 1 BTC, and since the price is now high they any afford to buy it anymore, so they give up hope, which is totally wrong.

The most important thing you have to do is not to buy one Bitcoin, but to buy Bitcoin at the right time. Let’s say that you have only $1000 and you bought Bitcoin when the price was at $4000 before it reached the new ATH of over $40,000, you will have over $10,000 now for free.
There is nothing like pushing it away from the people who need it, rather people are the ones who make it seem difficult by putting the burden upon themselves that they are going to buy 1 BTC. Some people don’t invest because they don’t have money to buy 1 BTC, so they decide it’s best that they wait till they have enough money to buy it, which doesn’t make any sense. Those people you’re talking about, if they invested in Bitcoin at a cheaper price than what it is now, they will also want it to increase to a big amount. Bitcoin is not like NEO that doesn’t have fractions, you can buy in fractions for any amount you have.

What do you mean by you cannot by in fraction?
1 bitcoin is not the minimum, you can buy 0.001 btc if you want, slowly accumulate and increase your holding.

1 bitcoin now is equivalent to 37k usd, that's too much but if slowly you'll buy with a fraction of it, you'll not feel the price and we can afford to buy it.
3128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin is like planting trees on: February 04, 2021, 10:20:08 PM
Buying Bitcoin is like planting trees. The best time to do it is 10 years ago. The second best time is today.

I'll commend those people who have managed to hodl their bitcoin for 10 years. Yes, we should've done it earlier, but we should never forget the reality that we always learn from our mistakes by facing the outcomes. No one can't even be determined that bitcoin will manage to become like this, the price value that almost 2m PHP here in my country. If we have the ability to forecast and can predict what can possibly happen in the future, then maybe we are definitely rich people right now. If you want to harvest something, we should've planted more for our future but the difference between those two is, we don't have any info about cryptocurrency investment but in tress, we knew that we need it until we exist in this world.

Most of us have no done it 10 years ago so we go at the 2nd best which is today. Bitcoin has no ceiling in price, it could be so high for the eyes of some people now but it's not the limit yet because of a limited supply and demand will continue, price has not direction but to rise. Maybe we can wait a bit, buy when the price corrects so we can get some discount on our holding, more bitcoin to hold, better opportunity for us.
3129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: February 04, 2021, 10:01:22 PM
some of us such as me, for over 30 years, 100% of my entire income has been from gambling. when u are autistic and unemployable because u make everyone so angry with your weird beliefs and fears with no work history since the min wage was $3.35 an hour, at age 19, and now are 51, u really have no other choice but to gamble for a living.

i dont regret it, i make about 50k a year now and used to only make about 25k when i knew less about poker than i do now, and its far better than what id earn at mc d or walmart so i dont regret it for a minute.

if u dont believe me i have a very famous blog that documents it. follow sevencard2003 on twitter which includes the link

$50k/year from gambling alone? Too good to be if you ask me. I'll be honest though. I don't know much about Poker. The only way for you to make money from this is probably skills are involved more than pure luck. Otherwise it would be like saying "I make $50k/year by playing dice." which is as we know practically impossible.

He is gambling for 30 years, probably he had already learned a lot to develop his skills, in terms of winning like what he is is $50k a year, I doubt it's too good to be true with skills. This is poker, it's based on skills in winning so I believe it's possible for a gambler to win that amount, whether he is telling the truth or not.
3130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 04, 2021, 09:44:13 PM
Finally now Dallas Mavericks are back in the winning track, it's been a long losing streak before they pulled out a win against the Hawks.
As usual, Doncic lead the team for this win, he scored 27 points and 14 assists, not a triple double night but at least a win, that's all what matters.

Doncic is really expected to deliver because he was recently being flamed for not being consistent but its just a great start for his third year within the professional scene. A win for Luka is still a big thing because it really shows that he can still play better than other players and its great to see helping hands within the team which you can see can boosts confidence within them. Doncic is still young and we really might see him blow up in the future during his prime. Lets just hope nobody gets injured.

I don't think we should put the blame on Luka only, if we look at the individual stats, you can see how consistent Luka is, the problem is with the team and it's just normal for some team to struggle sometimes, what's important now is they have started winning again, hopefully it's a good start.

3132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 03, 2021, 11:11:01 PM
Brooklyn Nets played a home game against LA Clippers last night. Nets managed to beat Clippers 124-120 in this competitive game. Nets have a 6-win streak in their home games now. On Nets side, Irving got 39 points, 5 rebounds. KD got 28 points, 9 rebounds. Harden made another triple-double (23 points, 11 rebounds, 14 assists). On Clippers side, Kawhi got 33 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists. P. George 26 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists. N. Batum got 21 points, 6 rebounds.
Do you have the website where you get the summary of these stats? It will be helpful if you can share the link here. I'm interested in checking each game's stats but can't find it on the web, I only see the whole stats of players for the whole season. I want to check the per game. Thanks!

We have a lot of free website that provide a good stats, here are some of them.

https://www.covers.com/sports/nba/matchups?selectedDate=2021-02-02
https://www.sportsbookreview.com/betting-odds/
https://www.espn.com/nba/
Thanks, mate. I was browsing on NBA's official website but that's a different stats that I've been looking at. I'll save these websites for future references if someone will ask the same thing.
And for this time, I'll go check each of them. Thank you again for the help.

You can also add this https://www.teamrankings.com/nba/trends/ats_trends/  in your bookmarked mate, there's a lot of options to play around.

Good luck, and enjoy betting in NBA.
3133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum now on the 55th spot of top asset by Market Cap on: February 03, 2021, 10:53:01 PM
Huge achievement by ETH, that tells a real story that crypto will soon get a big slice of the market.

Imagine getting in the top 55 where there's a lot of big company in competition, here's what's possibly happening here, competitors can invest on ETH but ETH cannot or will not since it's just a digital system own by us. Competitors have limited investors why ETH has the world, so think of its future's potential.
3134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: February 03, 2021, 10:27:58 PM
But if you are aiming for the huge price and deal with risks then go bet on Avni so that your betting will be much worth it, we don't know what if Avni wins. Avni's long rest or break in boxing world will really become a huge factor in this match up, while Canelo is being consistent with his career and he is really focus in defeating his future opponents.
Canelo Alvarez fights at a different level altogether and i wont risk a penny to bet in the match against Canelo Alvarez, i am yet to watch the fights of Avni Yildirim to see how he fights and how he will counter the heavy punches to understand how long he can last so that i can predict how many rounds he can face Canelo Alvarez Cheesy.

My prediction is Canelo Alvarez and i need to do some research before placing the final bet.

Canelo Alvarez here by a knock-out, similar to Amir Khan. Probably 6-7 max rounds before Canelo hit that home run and Avni Yildirim. It will be competitive though,

I think Khan is better than Yildirim, so I predict a shorter rounds, probably this will end in 6 rounds or less. Haven't seen this Yildirim fought a popular fighter yet, hence he is not popular as well, but Amir Khan I believe is popular as he was a champion if I'm not wrong.

Quote
Alvarez will go for the body early and then unexpectedly hit that knock out punch.
He can hit his opponent anywhere when he sees an opening, not a problem with him as he is a good boxer which currently still at his prime.
3135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 03, 2021, 10:11:35 PM
We should not doubt the Nets now, they beat the Clippers so they are now a legit super team and probably have adjusted already. Great work by the coaching staff as well, we can see the development of the team already and it's very exciting to see them in the playoffs and see what they can do.
Let's not open the champagne bottle just yet, there is a lot of work ahead of them, one win against Clippers doesn't mean that they will cruise through the league for the rest of the season. I do agree that they looked better, with players slowly adjusting to their roles but they should start figuring defense too. Relying to score 120+ every night in order to win might work during regular season but playoffs will be a  different story. Bench remains issue too, last night they scored only 14 pts combined, albeit with very low usage.

That's right, playoffs is about game adjustment and if a best of 7 series, it cannot be possible that a certain team will just continue to score their usual, even the Warriors before when they were the champ, they also had games where they did not reach at least 100 points but still they win, that's because they don't only rely on their good offense but their good defense as well.
3136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: February 02, 2021, 10:18:41 PM
Clearly Canelo Alvarez is the favorite for this fight. I think the fight will end early. There will be a knockout between rounds 7 and 12. Most people will be rooting for Alvarez. But I think the fight will be interesting, although Avni Yildirim is a little bit inferior in technique.

It will be interesting if there's a KO and more interesting if not coming from Canelo.
The opponent is a big underdog here, no bettors believe in him to win so that's a big motivation for him to train hard for this big fight.

Canelo does not have a decent odds for KO win but Yildirim has, but you'll only approve it if you believe on his chance to win.
3137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 02, 2021, 10:04:46 PM
Is he going to play tomorrow against the Clippers? This is hell of a match and we'll see a match between two good teams.

Hard to decide where I'll be if Nets is complete tomorrow.
It's confirmed that Harden should be ready for game tonight, but even with him back my money will be on the Clippers. I do expect tough game though, best offensive vs one of the best defensive teams.
I agree with you here, Nets has been struggling with their defense and I think that's what the Clippers are going to abuse tonight.
More inside points and they can easily win this game.

Good luck mate, let's hope for our win.
3138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be surprise to see price of btc drop this week on: February 01, 2021, 10:01:35 PM
we may look the downside to $31,523

Thread bookmarked-

I heard it first here, let's see if bitcoin would really dump, at the moment it still looks bullish and after a pump recently it was not able to rise back at $37k again, so if bitcoin dump $30k, it's very significant and might cause further dump again.
3139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 01, 2021, 09:40:43 PM
Mavs -1.5 vs Suns

The betting odds is only -1.5 for the Mavericks, so I'm gonna take it and betting on the Dallas Mavericks to win by 11+ points @4.35 odds.

I'll ride with you guys, but it's already at -2.5 now, it moved up by 1 point but it doesn't matter anyway, for a desperate team, they can win as many points as they can. Good luck and thanks.
3140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: January 29, 2021, 09:45:07 PM
Come one Canelo, we know you are good but why not give GGG another chance to fight with you?
The record is 1-0 since the first one was a draw, if Canelo will win then end of debate, he is the better fighter.

Who knows that after the fight with Yildirim, a bout with GGG will happen. Maybe there are plans as it's was demanded by most of their fans.

But for that to happen, Canelo should win on this match, or else, there will be no more hype for a GGG rematch.

I'm one of the fans that will be so happy if it will happen again. We should continue to involve their names on the discussion so they will know that the public is still looking for the trilogy, and that they will realized that this is a big income generating for both of them.

It would be nice to see that we have big games this year.

Joshua vs Fury and Canelo vs GGG.. Isn't that nice? Smiley
