2241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 17, 2021, 06:50:12 AM
Didn't expect a blowout win for GSW, Curry showed his superiority against the best team in the East, he made 9/14 from beyond the arc and that's very impressive, there's should be no debate on who is the greatest shooter now, Curry is just on a different level this season.

Better luck next time Nets, bounce back if you ever meet again this season.
2242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH we can expect big move on: November 16, 2021, 11:28:09 PM
Sooner or later, ETH will break the highest price. I am sure that it will be a matter of time for ETH to surge to the high price while we have a chance to buy more ETH now. If you believe in ETH, you can buy back for more and hold it because once the price starts moving, I think that can make the price have another rally. As a big project on crypto, ETH will have many chances to increase more, so we must use this time to accumulate more ETH.
Just like Bitcoin, Ethereum had also a huge chance to make another ATH at no specific time. I'd trusted this project since before. It can't just the huge fees make it down, and in fact, despite those complaints in transaction fees we still see the number of transactions remained at a high level and its price remains high as well. This is very obvious and the sentiments tell us that ETH will still gain more adopters and users compared to the other altcoins. It can never be stopped, unless if Bitcoin will have a big crash.
2243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They will try to stop Bitcoin on: November 16, 2021, 10:41:24 PM
No, it isn't that "They will try to stop Bitcoin" according to your topic but that they already have been doing it. The exciting part though is that they won't be able to succeed at it.

A ban on mining alone would be bad, but not as bad as total ban on everything Bitcoin-related, like they did in China.
Even with the complete ban by the Chinese government, despite her population, Bitcoin is still thriving. At the end, China will be the sore loser in all that.
Yes, they are? And the government cheats their people in a way that they never give this opportunity their people to enjoy and make a good living out of crypto. The government has their unfair decision, it is supposed they ask first to the community before implementing the ban. If that their purpose is to stop fraud, money laundering, and other illegal activities, that I think there is a way to decrease this coz this will never stop no matter what they do.
2244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do with 20,000 Dogecoins? on: November 15, 2021, 11:54:13 PM
Sell them and invest in the potential coins for profit assurance. I think that was the best answer.
I don't think holding gives you more profit rather than taking the chance to sell them while the market price is still high. Don't wait that it to crash, yet that comes at any time and might give you regrets. Since the shilling is over, it has no chance to have a skyrocket again, you never have to think that anymore.
2245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My plans for the next bear market on: November 14, 2021, 11:43:15 PM

snipped~

Well it's a good a idea that you are very much aware of a likely bearish market after the end of this bullish runs, and getting prepared "experience is the best teacher" I don't think there would be any problem trading off your coins to USDT which is even more safe and secure using Tron legder rather than using BUSD  because is not advisable to hodl your huge coins in any exchange.
I am also thinking of investing in some potential coins if the market eventually undergo correction having studied a lot of opportunities missed in the last bearish runs.
We can't underestimate the market volatility and what OP does/plans is trying to save him from losing his profit when the correction comes. That is common to everyone and we can't assure everything went good that is how important to anticipate it before we regret then.
In fact, it comes normally to make sell during the bullish season, can't tell that we are trying to stop the bullish trend because if you are a smart investor, that is also the thing to do.
2246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not meant 4everybody on: November 14, 2021, 10:52:27 PM
Trading is profession like other business sections, you have to treat it like second job. If you have limited time and interest, better to try short term trading and learn the deep secrets of financial analysis. In case of losing huge amounts in short term, you have two options that can be taking a break or continue chasing losses.
This must take seriously since trading takes more analysis to become more profitable and if you just take advantage trading and just listening to the hype, you can expect to lose money later on. If its a lose streak, something bad on your trading approach better to study again than to quit.
Or that it means trading is not meant for you. In fact, even we wanted to learn trading but have difficulties grasping ideas and can't control ourselves in times of market crisis, we can never expect that it becomes profitable, that gonna be more on losses. It is gonna have to weigh what happens to us in a real scenario, some say trading is easy while some say it was hard. It will only give us confusion and by trying to make trading in actual that could tell what really it is and to assess ourselves then if this is for us or not.
2247  Economy / Economics / Re: Who wants to do what. Jobs or business.. on: November 12, 2021, 09:05:16 PM
know this man and he will certainly change your view in life.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Kiyosaki

I've been watching videos of him on youtube and it's kinda telling me that business is really good compared to jobs, we are just conditioned to study well so we can end up with a good job, but in reality, it does not give us financial freedom because only business can if handled properly.
2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 12, 2021, 08:50:35 PM
So when and where will be this fight to happen?

They will fight next month.

Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo agreed to for December 11
Quote
Nonito Donaire’s ordered WBC bantamweight title defense against Reymart Gaballo has been agreed to for Dec. 11, Mike Coppinger reports at ESPN.com.

The show will take place at Dignity Health Sports Park — the former StubHub Center — in California, meaning that Donaire-Gaballo will not take place in Dubai along with John Riel Casimero’s fight against Paul Butler, which had been previously rumored.

Just a month from now, we will eventually witness this big fight for both Filipinos.

But the fight of Casimero vs Butler will be in December 11 also, so this is a doubleheader but we will not be seeing them in the same venue because Casimero's fight will be held in Dubai while Donaire's is in the US. Anyway, there's no problem with that as long as they don't fight at the same time so the fans would be able to see both fights.
2249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't lose your profit unnecessarily on: November 12, 2021, 01:55:29 PM
As newbie I have not bothered about the profit that I have missed taking out just because that I believe another profit will fill up for me. I have been on this for some time but with my growing knowledge in the trading business, I now seeing it differently that the profit I didn't take was gone and another profit that got filled is a different profit entirely which means I may have been made more of profit in the account and lesser losses. Lately therefore I take profit as it comes and this has worked for my trading experience. It is not scalping if you see your profit going down the pit.

What way do you take your profit ?

Or you feel the regained profit is same profit that you lost  Huh Roll Eyes
As a novice trader, I find it hard to make profit. However, once there's a little thing added to my investment, I take it real quick. I don't see a second profit as the same profit I missed, if I ever missed any. I count everything as new, loss or profit, that's why I'm always very focused, and pull out at the slightest shift in price
Every trader has their own targeted profit. Just like you, even earning a small profit is enough and you don't have a plan to miss every single opportunity. But it somehow happens that many traders are aiming for a higher profit, they keep waiting for the bullish and then sell. Maybe we could say that was a great strategy but something it misses a lot which we can no longer get back. If it is possible that we could take them all, that seems more profit gains than being on a one-time jackpot.
2250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: November 12, 2021, 11:54:48 AM
The most common types of of transaction fees are:

Exchange Fees (a commission that will come about when you complete a buy or sell order)
Network Fees (entails a charge to cover the mining network that runs in a blockchain)
Wallet Fees (will come from whatever currency wallet you utilise, but not all wallets will produce these fees).

Some of the lowest fees in the industry include the following: TRON, EOS, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Bitcoin

resource: https://swapzone.io/learn/lowest-transaction-fees

Doge have been cheap/fast and reliable for years. It is my #1 choice when it comes to moving my money from one place to another. (usually between the exchanges) The disadvantage of doge is, sometimes it is not available on some exchanges. Then you'll have to use something else. Litecoin used to be cheap as well. Maybe it still is. I haven't used it for a long time.

Doge is not cheap anymore due to the fact that it pumped to a significant amount and fees on DOGE from exchanges are high already. I'm also using DOGE in the past and I really enjoyed it, but when it pumped and reach to the current price now, I think it's not anymore cheap, so I go with XRP as the fees are always cheap and it's instant.
2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 12, 2021, 11:23:28 AM

I've seen Gobert getting frustrated or irritated from time to time. Maybe Turner just got into his skin because in this game there are times that Gobert was covered during a alley-oop.
Yeah, if we still remember the Clippers vs Utah Jazz playoffs series, Jazz were ahead but when coach Lue figured out how to limit Gobert, things were suddenly turn in favor of the Clippers and they beat the Jazz in 4 straight games IIRC.
2252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 12, 2021, 09:48:12 AM

So for me many can afford the PPV, just look at the live gate perhaps it is almost sold out by now.

That's right, if they can sell at least 1 million PPV subs, then that's already $70 million rounded off.

As reported by ESPN based on this article(https://www.essentiallysports.com/boxing-news-terence-crawford-vs-shawn-porter-fight-purses-revealed/), the total purse is only $10 million 60/40 - Crawford/Porter sharing.

Quote
Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter purse
The WBO Welterweight title bout between the hard-hitting Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford and Shawn ‘Showtime’ Porter will attract a lot of PPV buys. ESPN reported the purse for the Welterweight showdown and guaranteed Terence Crawford upwards of $6 million. Meanwhile, Porter is set to earn at least $4 million.

So if they make enough sales on PPV, that would increase their potential income.
2253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: November 12, 2021, 05:32:38 AM
Bitcoin is operated by a non-government decentralized authority, which is the prime reason behind its transparency. All transactions through Bitcoin undergo massive computerized verifications. Anyone can access the public ledger where the Bitcoin balances are stored. IMHO, it will never be possible to regulate Bitcoin by any one centralised authority.
The transactions can't be regulated but in the price, that could be possible if the government will impose laws and certain regulations. In fact, this has been started by some countries, their strict regulation makes even get stricter but it gives safety to their people. Why? because this makes stopped any act of fraudulent activities that involve crypto. As with the transparency it have, the easier for the authorities to track activities like this. That is why it has been ask to comply KYC verification, not just for taxes but for the safety benefits.
2254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice regarding buying on: November 11, 2021, 10:58:28 PM

What are you guys currently doing ? Still buying at 65-68k ? Waiting a for a while ?

It is gonna be a tough and riskier decision to make a buy at this current price but if we have the guts and the money, I guess, why not? But the best buying time is during the market correction, maybe we could have it shared, 50% to spend now while 50% is in reserves when the price drops. That will be a sort of buying strategy, we don't know what will happen next.
But for me, I have to wait for a while. I know it drops again, the hypes will stop soon might it take some time but at least the risk is less compared to buying at its peak.
2255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your luck rate with CMC airdrops on: November 11, 2021, 10:30:59 PM
I just find out that it's not easy to win going coinomi airdrops, I've participated in 10 different airdrops and never get paid at all so when I rechecked I always see like only 1000 people selected out of 300k or more, why airdrop in the first place when only few people will be selected ?
Now, airdrop is becoming a lottery? Lol, I haven't joined any airdrops since 2018 to be honest, so I don't know the landscape of it.

And it's pretty obvious that the airdrops you choose is somewhat reputable, - Coinomi and that's why it is limited to 1000 people alone. And as I have said, it's lottery so you need to get a lot of luck just to be able to get your name pick up. In any case, I'm sure majority of us here is done with airdrops anyways, not gonna waste my time on that. So I wish you good luck joining airdrops.
2017 is the airdrop season, I guess. From 2018 until the present, they are all useless. have no market value, and are just a waste of time.
Might say that some got lucky to have a good airdrop, it is something just around 1/1000, I don't have the exact figure but that gonna be close to that and seemingly it discourage people to join if that is only the percentage we got unless if we are garbage collector (well, I don't think that OP has kind of mindest).
But to what it said by OP, that is weird, I mean, it is not a lottery, they are just making worthless coins and giving them away.
2256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 11, 2021, 09:40:46 PM
So within a Month time now Middle East is the place ? now Casimero must Show how tough His Hands than His Mouth after delivering too much Badmouthing the past months .

Though I am aiming for Him to Win over Butler because i also wanted Him to face Inoue to see if he can take the Monster that Donaire did not achieve in His first try.

Yup, Dubai is the place.

Don't worry, Casimero can back the talk  Grin. Trash-talking seems to be part of the strategy to sell fight and often times it is effective and sometimes not. In boxing, they said that there is no such thing as an easy fight but this Butler fight is just a warm-up fight for bigger things to come for Casimero considering that he won't let his guards down IMO.
Warm up fight for Butler? I dont think so and he shouldnt really be that confident on fighting with Casimero. Not to say about their capabilities but i could say that Casimero
is indeed capable on beating him so he shouldnt really make those big talks before the fight but its right that trashtalks is really part of the business for them to sell
out the fight and able to get more revenue but this is much better than compared into those exhibition fights that we do have right now.
Its worth of spending some bucks rather than into those circus dance.

It's the other way around, sort of warm-up fight for Casimero in preparation for bigger fights like a match with Inoue in the near future. Don't get me wrong, Butler may be tough but Casimero is just too strong for him, IMO. Casimero has been to many fights in foreign lands and this is what makes him tough and Dubai could be like a home court for him too.

As of this writing, Casimero says he's already 80 percent condition, with 3 weeks to i think that great news for his fans to hear.

We can make a simple analysis to determine who will win.

Casimero beat Tete and Tete beat Butler, I think that's enough to tell on who would win the fight, it's just a matter of how impressive Casimero would win here so people will forget his boring fight against Rigo. And nice to know he is conditioned, and as the training will continue, hopefully, he will be fully conditioned so we will see another impressive win by him, at least that's what the fans are expecting.
2257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 11, 2021, 09:20:32 PM
^ He only said that because he beats Loma already. And if we go with that argument of his, then he is the best lightweight right? So no surprised about his statement and there are no respect there.

He should really give Loma a deserving rematch next year because thinking of jumping to 140 lbs division. At least we can settle all the arguments as who is the best lightweight.

Quite an interesting version, but these words can be like "glorifying yourself" as Lopez won against Lomanchenko, and maintaining interest in the rematch which can hardly be avoided. All participants in this match are interested in maximum public attention to this event. But if Lopez leaves this weight class without a rematch, it will look as tricky as possible  Cheesy

I agree, this is exactly what I read between the lines, he beat Loma and then tell everyone Loma can beat them all. I know that there is argument for triangle theory in boxing, but this statement seems to be the conception of his statement.

Lopez is very good boxers, maybe in the next 2-3 years he maybe the next great cash cow as he can move up to 140 lbs to 147. But there's always a question mark in his resume for now giving Loma a rematch.

Most of the fans are still interested if there's going to be a chance of seeing Lopez and Loma again inside the ring.

Personally, I can say that if there's  a good amount of money that will be involve, rematch may also be consider, Loma needs to win this fight with

a dominance performance, that way fans will continue the chased of calling for the rematch before Lopez move up to another weight division.

Money will talk, still worth to wait both fighters always intensified the fans, showcasing their skills value what viewers are paying for  Smiley

Of course, money talks but Lopez would also consider his future if he will lose in the rematch. I guess the last time they fought they demanded at least $1 million, so I think it will be bigger if they'll fight for a rematch and probably he will also get a big slice of the pie on the sharing of revenue which might not be easy to agreen upon between promoters and boxers.
2258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one can continue ignoring Bitcoin on: November 11, 2021, 03:17:13 PM
The popularity of bitcoin become increased this year since people can not go out of their homes freely like before. It made many people eye's focus and start to join in bitcoin by buying more and more bitcoin, especially if the price drops drastically. Many people want to make money from bitcoin and that is why bitcoin can get more attention from people.

People do not want to be late to invest in bitcoin and other coins or tokens and the existence of crypto really open their eyes and mind that crypto can be the new source of income. More and more people will come and join the bitcoin world and will invest in bitcoin because bitcoin will give them hope to make money.
The pandemic situation brings more popularity to Bitcoin. Social media become a medium to such information spread across the globe and the hype that it showed tends to gain more market attraction and interest to the community. Since the popularity of this project is continuously growing, the more it increases demand causing the price to make a lift.
Perhaps, we can't imagine seeing Bitcoin at this time. Many experts and known names come and speculated to have a fortune and I believe that was to come.
2259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take stock or hodl ? on: November 10, 2021, 10:29:13 PM
So with the current peak on Bitcon, Ethereum (and nearly all of my alt coins) is it wise to:

1) Take out the profit to either bank or reinvest when there is another dip
2) HODL in the hope that it keeps rising and rising
Option #1 is the safest way to take...it was generally ideal to make an investment during the dip and sell during its peak.

Holding may also be helpful when sudden corrections come and wait for the recovery but if we are saying and looking for more that is greediness and that we need to stop or else this will be the reason why we miss the chance of selling it at high. It can't be regretted if we were able to sell our coin at the start of the pump but it was more regrettable when we missed it.
2260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn more about trading on: November 10, 2021, 02:48:53 PM
It is better to learn directly from an experienced person. It will take less time.
Having a mentor for guiding you in trading if not that easier one because people who are experts in trading must be having lots of scheduled works rather than guiding you for free of cost or even for a fee. I agree if you are having a mentor then it will save a lot of your time but definitely it will cost a lot at the same time which is the reason why most people are not going for it.
I believe there is also a question mark about how mentors could be making money by trading anyway, so why would they charge someone for teaching them something?

I understand that they are spending their time and that is why they are charging money for mentoring but if they are so good at trading shouldn't they use that time to trade instead of teaching me? Would be a great way to make a profit if they are so good at it enough to be a mentor. This dilemma means that you either have no mentors because they are all trading, or you have mentors that you do not trust the abilities, and that is why it becomes a challenge to find a mentor that you actually trust.

I personally do not use any mentors at all, I try to do as great as I possibly can without the help of anyone else, sure I read and watch but not because I think they are mentors but because I know what I am looking for and what I want to learn.
That can be mean. I start trading and learn from a friend of mine paying nothing but just a snack and coffee. I spend less and that seems not a big deal but we talk about paying dollars for mentoring and still, it guarantees nothing, I don't think that is fair. That is a big question mark and that is why I shouldn't have to spend much to learn since we can get those things freely on the internet.
And I see you were right, that means that trading is too difficult to make money unless if you are a pro-trader because if that is wrong, why he should spend time teaching instead of focusing on his trade.
