2261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 11, 2021, 09:20:32 PM
^ He only said that because he beats Loma already. And if we go with that argument of his, then he is the best lightweight right? So no surprised about his statement and there are no respect there.

He should really give Loma a deserving rematch next year because thinking of jumping to 140 lbs division. At least we can settle all the arguments as who is the best lightweight.

Quite an interesting version, but these words can be like "glorifying yourself" as Lopez won against Lomanchenko, and maintaining interest in the rematch which can hardly be avoided. All participants in this match are interested in maximum public attention to this event. But if Lopez leaves this weight class without a rematch, it will look as tricky as possible  Cheesy

I agree, this is exactly what I read between the lines, he beat Loma and then tell everyone Loma can beat them all. I know that there is argument for triangle theory in boxing, but this statement seems to be the conception of his statement.

Lopez is very good boxers, maybe in the next 2-3 years he maybe the next great cash cow as he can move up to 140 lbs to 147. But there's always a question mark in his resume for now giving Loma a rematch.

Most of the fans are still interested if there's going to be a chance of seeing Lopez and Loma again inside the ring.

Personally, I can say that if there's  a good amount of money that will be involve, rematch may also be consider, Loma needs to win this fight with

a dominance performance, that way fans will continue the chased of calling for the rematch before Lopez move up to another weight division.

Money will talk, still worth to wait both fighters always intensified the fans, showcasing their skills value what viewers are paying for  Smiley

Of course, money talks but Lopez would also consider his future if he will lose in the rematch. I guess the last time they fought they demanded at least $1 million, so I think it will be bigger if they'll fight for a rematch and probably he will also get a big slice of the pie on the sharing of revenue which might not be easy to agreen upon between promoters and boxers.
2262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one can continue ignoring Bitcoin on: November 11, 2021, 03:17:13 PM
The popularity of bitcoin become increased this year since people can not go out of their homes freely like before. It made many people eye's focus and start to join in bitcoin by buying more and more bitcoin, especially if the price drops drastically. Many people want to make money from bitcoin and that is why bitcoin can get more attention from people.

People do not want to be late to invest in bitcoin and other coins or tokens and the existence of crypto really open their eyes and mind that crypto can be the new source of income. More and more people will come and join the bitcoin world and will invest in bitcoin because bitcoin will give them hope to make money.
The pandemic situation brings more popularity to Bitcoin. Social media become a medium to such information spread across the globe and the hype that it showed tends to gain more market attraction and interest to the community. Since the popularity of this project is continuously growing, the more it increases demand causing the price to make a lift.
Perhaps, we can't imagine seeing Bitcoin at this time. Many experts and known names come and speculated to have a fortune and I believe that was to come.
2263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take stock or hodl ? on: November 10, 2021, 10:29:13 PM
So with the current peak on Bitcon, Ethereum (and nearly all of my alt coins) is it wise to:

1) Take out the profit to either bank or reinvest when there is another dip
2) HODL in the hope that it keeps rising and rising
Option #1 is the safest way to take...it was generally ideal to make an investment during the dip and sell during its peak.

Holding may also be helpful when sudden corrections come and wait for the recovery but if we are saying and looking for more that is greediness and that we need to stop or else this will be the reason why we miss the chance of selling it at high. It can't be regretted if we were able to sell our coin at the start of the pump but it was more regrettable when we missed it.
2264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn more about trading on: November 10, 2021, 02:48:53 PM
It is better to learn directly from an experienced person. It will take less time.
Having a mentor for guiding you in trading if not that easier one because people who are experts in trading must be having lots of scheduled works rather than guiding you for free of cost or even for a fee. I agree if you are having a mentor then it will save a lot of your time but definitely it will cost a lot at the same time which is the reason why most people are not going for it.
I believe there is also a question mark about how mentors could be making money by trading anyway, so why would they charge someone for teaching them something?

I understand that they are spending their time and that is why they are charging money for mentoring but if they are so good at trading shouldn't they use that time to trade instead of teaching me? Would be a great way to make a profit if they are so good at it enough to be a mentor. This dilemma means that you either have no mentors because they are all trading, or you have mentors that you do not trust the abilities, and that is why it becomes a challenge to find a mentor that you actually trust.

I personally do not use any mentors at all, I try to do as great as I possibly can without the help of anyone else, sure I read and watch but not because I think they are mentors but because I know what I am looking for and what I want to learn.
That can be mean. I start trading and learn from a friend of mine paying nothing but just a snack and coffee. I spend less and that seems not a big deal but we talk about paying dollars for mentoring and still, it guarantees nothing, I don't think that is fair. That is a big question mark and that is why I shouldn't have to spend much to learn since we can get those things freely on the internet.
And I see you were right, that means that trading is too difficult to make money unless if you are a pro-trader because if that is wrong, why he should spend time teaching instead of focusing on his trade.
2265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think coin is the right choice? on: November 09, 2021, 10:51:58 PM
I rarely share my thoughts, I still prefer to read posts and nothing more, but it seems to me that YAY Games is a very worthy project. Their project solves the really important problems the world has been facing lately. Their project is extremely overlooked and underrated.
Every project has been created for different purposes ( some may not and useless) but just curious what is this YAY game for? I know this is for gaming platforms but what I mean is that how it could solve the problem? There are a lot of gaming platforms that exist already and this project you've seen never recognized or just being ignored because it is possible that nobody sees its potential. It rather chooses those platforms that could really give us the benefits while playing and this is happening to the NFT gaming platform.
2266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 09, 2021, 09:52:51 PM
Hehe Morris acting like he was run over by a truck after giving a hard foul. He could have sent someone flying if it was someone smaller and not a bigger guy in Jokic. Call it cheap shot but I think what Jokic did was fine to send a message that he's not to be taken lightly. It would have been better if it was a push but Morris would have acted the same way.
That's why Morris's teammates do not react so much because they know him very well. This guy tries to bully a big guy because they know Jokic can easily be bothered by his action, things that they are only doing in playoffs, they are now doing it in the regular season, I hope Jokic will not be suspended, Nuggets needs him after that big win.
2267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 09, 2021, 09:20:14 PM
I voted for Logan Paul.

Honestly, though Mike Tyson was an absolute animal, he's well into his 50s now. And we can assume the fight wont happen for at least six months, during which he would have deteriorated even further.

Meanwhile Logan Paul is in his prime and has had extensive coaching from some of the greatest in the business, including Shannon Briggs who was a murderous knockout artist.

I think as long as Paul's defense is on point and he has the gas tank for it, he can weather an early storm and eventually beat Tyson on points. Though I still don't think he'd wing a swing up against the old former champ, it would need to be a point win.

Nice to see you got Paul, I mean everyone here is voting for Mike Tyson because of his name but they didn't realize Mike Tyson is not the old Mike Tyson that we used to see knocking out his opponents, he is 55 years old now to be exact, and if he still has that power and could KO Logan Paul, then I honestly I would be very surprised as I don't expect at his age he can still take down a trained fighter that is probably bigger than him.
2268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interest on Bitcoin on: November 08, 2021, 11:15:06 PM
You need to hold your Bitcoin if were afraid. Not your keys, not your Bitcoin either. You will have to think about that...
Everyone must have to understand that being in this form of investment guarantees nothing but if you can manage it so well, even it has just a lower interest, it can be good enough. What I mean is that you don't need to get into a higher interest rate as that seems unrealistic. Some put their Bitcoin to exchanges for this sake but the risk is too high, never do this if you can't afford it but rather keep it and wait for the right moment to sell.
2269  Economy / Speculation / Re: When new ATH? When moon? on: November 08, 2021, 09:42:55 PM
With the current market sentiment, November is full of optimism and excitement to kick off the 2nd bull run for bitcoin, this is a very good month for the market and bitcoin, I guess we will soon see a boom to the level  foolhardy.  Today the total market cap has hit $3 trillion, bitcoin is approximately $1250 billion and it won't stop at this point.  72k9 this week seems to be a value to go to.
Since we ended the month of October on a good price, I’m also confident that we can continue that momentum and probably make a new all time high again since the bullish trend is not end yet. Altcoins are also doing great today, while Bitcoin is slowly gaining its up trend again, i can see Bitcoin at $70k before the end of this Month, this is a great opportunity for us to buy.
yes, ta can be hopeful since the market is able to recover after a few corrections in the past few days. Now that it started to move up slowly, the more we can say a huge possibility for another ATH but I think, it wasn't that high more than $80k.
To buy now? That seems you've been missing the opportunity to buy at a cheaper price than today. Well, ain't that too late, you can still make a buy option but that was riskier. I hope the next time you have to check the market and don't let this happen again.
2270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is going to reach $5k soon? on: November 07, 2021, 11:31:39 PM
5k is easy and achievable target for current uptrend on Eth charts, I think next price destination can be $7k depending on the demand. Let's see what time will show upon next year.
Right now the rate is around $4,605 and it will not take a long time to reach the milestone everyone is looking for, but the biggest question should be whether the price would stay above that once it crosses $5000. Personally i do not think that it will rally for a long time and i am expecting a major correction by the end of this year or when the market turns red.
It was very close to the $5k target, maybe we could push it to $6k... Grin
Well, anyway, we can't ignore those corrections to come and make the price fall again but we never get worried, recoveries are still way back again. Usually, we have a surge after correction and this is what I see today. And with the help of Bitcoin, it can make ETH as well as make another ATH record. Might not it happen this month or this year, but this comes possible, and very optimistic about that.
2271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms useful? on: November 07, 2021, 10:52:31 PM
It is very important that you have knowledge about it or even review it first before entering unto it. It is also to avoid losses and to know all the possible risk. Almost every trading platform is useful. Its up to you on how will you get profit from these platform. Most of the platforms you have to do your own adjustment for your trade pattern to work very well with it. If you don't do that and just follow what you see there, you may keep experiencing losses.
Every action has different results and if we are too careless on our trades, therefore, to say that we possibly lose our money and then put blame on the exchange is definitely not right and so unfair.
That all trading platforms are good provide that it was legit and reputed. Coz it can be seen around a number of trading platforms are growing and many of them are just scammy. And the right choice of trading platforms may also give some help and gives results positive that is why we should have not rushed but instead make searches first before entering.
2272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China is thinking about unbanning bitcoin mining after price rise on: November 05, 2021, 04:04:22 PM
No, it can't be serious and China has been banning crypto mining several times, and then one day we heard a rumor like this, it is really ridiculous and that sounded like a joke. Well, let see if that is true, can't verify it now, or just I miss something but I don't have to believe it easily.
With the current sentiment and price hike without China will imply that the crypto market doesn't need their support either. Perhaps, Bitcoin will still grow and many countries will help it out and to prove that China is wrong.
2273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: November 05, 2021, 03:32:10 PM
That should always be a thing to do or else, we face the consequences of losing too quickly. We are not dumb to do that of course, but can't just stop others to fill some space and riding on the hypes or getting in FOMO for they think this could make them rich instantly. I can't be wrong as mostly just fail.
Even in Bitcoin, we also have to be careful with that trend as traps might be set up by whales. Yes, that is likely possible and we should think that first before buying or that you like to put at risk.
2274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: November 05, 2021, 07:20:28 AM
But Instead of risking all $10 on either the underdog nor the favorite athlete if I can't get quality statistics of both fighters I would rather split the $10 unevenly then bet on each fighter this way no matter the outcome I wouldn't be in total loss. Risking all $10 means the statistics of either fighter portrays strength for a sure win otherwise the sharing method is what I adopt
That amount as per example isn't that much and that's why to put that on any fighter or team that you prefer whether it will be against the odds or the other. I don't think that risking $10 would mean a lot but I know that there are countries where that's already that much. But honestly, it's an affordable amount to lose and if there's a big chance for the better odds to place that bet on that fighter then I'll be fine to do that and risk it with a possible high chance of win if the underdog wins.
Yes it depends, because usually I also bet on multiple matches with each bet being more or less $10 from each bet I make, both singles and parlays. But regarding the all-in bet on the last hope with the remaining money, then I think betting on the favorite athlete is the right choice because if you have to go to the underdog at least it requires preparation. This means, when we only have one more chance to double the money, then we only need to look for a favorite athlete with fairly good odds, because then our chances of winning are greater and we can continue betting if we win.
Not a good idea for me, when you say favorites, what I understand is you took an odds like 1.30 as they are likely gonna win, but not all the time. So taking the underdog really requires some balls as a gambler and it wouldn't be hard if you yourself do study the match and analyze it well.

What I learned in sports betting is that don't bet on all the games, choose a game that you think you can win, you know what I'm saying. As they say, it's quality over quantity and that's my simple strategy.
2275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 05, 2021, 06:48:30 AM
Building names so that when the time comes that Casimero will fight Inoue, the market will be big. Casimero's most fight isn't getting good revenues compared to Inoue and that might be the reason for the big to become 70/30 for example to the Filipino. If Casimero will be hyped more, he can demand a 50/50.
Casimero has been building his name too, Inoue might be a little popular but not to popular. However, I think that 70/30 is a little unfair to Casimero as he is also a champion and it would not be a big fight if Inoue would not fight a champion in his division, maybe 60/40 is more justifiable for me.

But before we talk about that, let's wait first for the result of Casimero vs Butler. If he loses it, no Inoue on his next match.
For sure no Inoue, but for sure he will win this fight.
2276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before getting into trading on: November 04, 2021, 11:56:12 PM
Is it really necessary to take a course before getting into trading?
You don't need a trading course. You can learn it yourself by learning it from various sources. There are already many sources that provide information about trading, especially basic information about trading. Just learn it seriously from those sites, everyone can get enough knowledge about trading.

It is easy to learn the basics out from the internet but this couldn't be enough to make a good trade. It is better to have a mentor that would teach and guide us but refrain from joining signal group, a friend of yours, might be your relatives or someone you know already. Might not be necessary but to learn trading alone is really hard, honestly.
For a lot of sources online, it sometimes made you confused on what strategy to follow or not. But I suggest having an actual trading experience as this could give huge learning which is far different from what we have read and watch online.
2277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe BTC can be attacked? on: November 04, 2021, 11:14:45 PM
I just remembered the poly network heist, one of the biggest heist in the history.

Is there also a possibility BTC can be hacked?
If it is, I bet every currency will start to declined.
How safety BTC security for you?

Want to know veterans answers.  Undecided

No. I don't' think so, it is highly unlikely to happen.  Bitcoin is most decentralized and secure crypto currency, there is no incident of hacking attack on Bitcoin network since I started working in crypto back in 2017, though i heard lot of media reports of exchanges being hacked including Binance. It is considered most hack proof Block chain because it is network is constantly reviewed by entire network. thus, attacks on block chain are very  unlikely. The wallets where crypto currencies are held are still vulnerable to attacks.

https://www.bitpanda.com/academy/en/lessons/can-a-cryptocurrency-like-bitcoin-get-hacked-or-shut-down/
There is hacking of Bitcoin's wallet but not the network itself. Yes, and due to the unique codes that the Bitcoin network had used, that is certainly impossible unless if there is someone on the inside who will do it, but I don't think so and I'm not sure if he could do it alone. That is why we don't ever hear such news and with such proof of work, then we can say that Bitcoin is a special project and none of the others could ever compared to it even ETH.
2278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 04, 2021, 05:59:53 AM
Big test for the Knicks tonight.  Gonna play a tough Pacers team on the Pacers home turf.  Knicks took an ugly loss at home the other night I expect them to bounce back.  Also looking forward to the golden state game as well that should be a good late night game as well.  Used to hate watching stepb play but I respect his game.  Dude is tough.
Pacers is really tough, I was also expecting the Knicks to win it but sadly, they can't get the W.
Myles Turner is the player of the game. 29 minutes with 25 points and most of it came from downtown. 7/10 at the 3 point line. Whoa! Are they training him to be one of the big guys who can shoot threes? Brook Lopez or Nikola Jokic type of basketball? Pacers will definitely be stronger if this guy can master his outside shots and it can stretch the floor for LeVert's inside attacks.
Pacers definitely need that win as they don't have a good start, their record now is 3-6, and they are on a 2 win streak. I guess they have already adjusted and found their rhythm because they are winning again, once they'll at the right groove, I'm sure they will keep winning going forward and improve their ranking. Myles Turner is one of the best big men in the NBA, as long as he is healthy, Pacers have a chance to be in the playoffs.
2279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 04, 2021, 05:13:10 AM
however, witness the style of Crawford to change stance while moving back and jab hard on Porter’s face repeatedly during the whole fight.

Well, Crawford can really do that because he is fast, but why such a strategy? Do you think he is afraid of the power of Porter, that's why he just wants to take advantage of his speed and just score to win? What about expecting a KO from Crawford, what percent do you think he will get that kind of win?
2280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: November 03, 2021, 10:38:29 PM

There is nothing wrong with the results of the promotion, as long as it doesn't conflict with crypto rules, this makes Shiba even more profitable, even if the promotion has to be paid at a high price, Shiba really wants to prove that they are able to be in a position and the selling price is expensive, so that the promotion pattern must be carried out, this prospect is basically quite good, but let's see the development of the results of the promotion.
And I thought so.
Binance is also doing its part to keep people aware that they are now accepting Shiba Inu and encourage traders or investors to use their platform instead. It is a sort of making awareness and with the use of social media platform contributed a lot which I believe this could gain more profit to both of them. And this to imply that Binance has an influence on the market and gives Shiba Inu a positive perspective, and this is a part of their deal I guess. As they are helping each other, the far it goes and this could picture out that this project seems to have fortune.
