2141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst exchange you experience for trading on: December 23, 2021, 12:20:06 PM
my problem with hitbtc is their withdrawal fee, but I never faced a problem my withdrawals are getting hold.

I think they have to be the worst exchange I have used in my books, one time I ended up paying way more than any other exchange would charge for withdrawing an altcoin I think it was close to $100, it was an erc20 altcoins l and they just listed newly in the exchange and I was trying to take advantage;f the price difference on both exchange I was losing. I regret that transaction until today and not surprised when I see write up of how awful this exchange is.

Sometimes I wonder why they still have patronage, I remember seeing they have one of the worst withdrawal fees for Bitcoin transaction way back. Exchanges that are considered scammy don't even have such withdrawal fees. Also their customers service aren't as reliable as the top exchanges. Hitbtc overall is just a poor exchange as they get poor rating from all angles.

I know about their rating and it's not good but I am still using the site, not encouraging everyone but saying this based on my experience. The only thing I don't like is their high withdrawal fees which I think they had already uniform it on all assets they have. Of course, there's plenty of exchanges as an option, it always depends on us on where we are comfortable with.
2142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should i buy? on: December 21, 2021, 10:31:09 PM
Many coins for now are experiencing a decline so we can use to make investments, if you currently have capital then choose coins that already have large volumes and have high potential that are currently experiencing a decline such as bnb, solana, and ethereum and there are also some other altcoins that we can rely on, then you have to do ballet research to hold some to be able to benefit in the future.
As we take this advantage, be sure that we know what we are trying to invest in and that it gonna be done through searching. I consider some suggestions but it was our part OP to make another search just to verify.
Well, these three coins as you have mentioned are really worth investing. Maybe we could try to check metaverse right now is likely to be hitting the market and probably in hypes. However, that should be taken wisely and in short term.
2143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: December 21, 2021, 01:17:17 PM
I'm really expecting Mark Magsayo will pull this one. PH boxers are now taking spotlights on the world of boxing. It's good to see them as our own Manny Pacquiao is now retired. I hope for more big fights involving a PH boxer will happened next year.

Magsayo is also a rising star the same as Gaballo that's why I like them to always have the spotlight.

Magsayo will get the support of the Filipino boxing fans, unlike the Gaballo vs Donaire which the fans were divided since both are Filipinio fighters but as we saw in that fight, Donaire proved to be too much for the challenger, I hope this one is different and Magsayo will be able to give a good fight and hopefully win the fight.
2144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: December 21, 2021, 12:58:38 PM
This is more exciting as it's a unification fight. I'm pretty sure that it's a bigger fight than Crawford vs Porter fight as we will be seeing both champions trying to unify their belt. I love the courage of Ugas because he does not back down against anyone, and I think after what he showed against Pacquioa, he had a shot here to beat Spence as he is the more active fighter and Spence came from a delicate operation.
2145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: December 20, 2021, 09:33:15 PM

When beginners think of Bitcoin, the next moment they imagine of a huge profit if they invest in it so and thats how the media and friends around, have showcased as getting profits by investing some money into Bitcoin. But they tend to realize after they invest what is real and how the profit should be gained. Yes, they need to either learn by themselves or someone has to explain them about the volatile market and how it moves. Everyone might have gone through such situation when we pitched into this forum or when we invested into bitcoin.
It is somewhat they got hyped because of what they have heard on social media. Might they be right as investing in Bitcoin will give you a profit, huge profit if we know how to deal with it plus the market changes? As long as they have a working strategy and give them positive results, they are on the right track. But have to say that not all have that kind of direction and most of the time these newbies fail to make it, they are more complaining about losing.
I think these newbies must have to know and be aware of the REAL situation of the crypto market first.
2146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst exchange you experience for trading on: December 17, 2021, 09:55:48 PM
I can't remember anymore what exchanges they are as if I use them, I only used it a few times.

Most of my trades are done in reputable exchanges like Binance and Kucoin.
Also, I do trade with hitbtc and yobit, I heard they have bad feedback but personally, I have not experienced being scammed, hopefully, it will not happen to me as until now I am still an active user.

my problem with hitbtc is their withdrawal fee, but I never faced a problem my withdrawals are getting hold.
2147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My newbie trading experience on: December 17, 2021, 09:27:48 PM
Even now I'm still learning to trade, I still make a lot of mistakes, but the experience when trading for the first time is experiencing profits easily and quickly, and in the end I think trading is easy. After that, I actually experienced a bigger loss, and that's psychology that we have to fix
Yeah, beginner's luck will not last for long and it usually end before we start realizing that we are still a beginner.
When you are making lots of mistakes in your trading then you should switch over to demo trading so that you will not lose anything just for the reason of learning.

This is also the moment to see what went wrong and what it needs to improve. Perhaps, a newbie will always be suffering losses before they got to know what they do it helps it out as if they will experience good at the first try, they then always think that trading is so easy. But these all had come to change when they got lost and even to lose everything. And this is the time to realize that trading can't be treated like that but it needs a serious market interaction and understanding otherwise, this just to keep happening.
Everyone started as a newbie, as a newbie we tend to make more mistakes but as we go further, we will eventually improve because we are learning from our mistakes. If a trader will consider trading as a journey, then I would not be surprised that one day success will be achieved. With lots of free information online that we can use to educate ourselves, nothing is impossible and everyone has a chance to be successful.
2148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ELON MUSK BECOME AN INFLUENCER on: December 17, 2021, 08:33:49 PM
For him quitting his CEO function, he must have seen better opportunities being an influencer, and we are talking about billions of dollars here as he is the richest man on earth now if I'm not mistaken, so his pay is definitely big.

@OP.. can you provide a link to verify the authenticity of this information? I just want make sure this is not another hype news that only came from speculations of the DOGE loyalists.
2149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 17, 2021, 08:15:53 PM
Mayweather has always been focused on defense so not many feared his punching power which combined with the fact it was an exhibition fight this allowed Paul to fight for the eight rounds, but Tyson is heavier and has always been known for his aggressiveness above the ring, so it is going to be way more challenging for Paul to actually go the full distance against someone like Tyson.

I think that is not the reason, Mayweather maybe focus on his defense but he is a great boxer and has a good KO ratio as well, so if he really intends to KO Logan Paul on their fight, then most likely we will see a KO from Floyd. But man, Floyd is a great businessman, he has his own way of showing entertainment to the people but failed to realize his fight would result in a boring fight.

Just look at the hype level before the fight, it could easily attract the fans that's why they are expecting it to see in the actual fight, but the result is always a disappointement.
2150  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 17, 2021, 07:30:41 PM
I read some posts online that the higher the weight class the better the pay, so money is not a problem if Canelo would excel here as he will surely get big fights and be paid better than he was paid in the division he reign, after this, he can to go light heavyweight but let's not presume it now, it's too early, he has to win this fight first and it should be in a convincing way.

Yes before anything else, Canelo should win first his first match on a different division. The result will determine if he's really fit in that division. I don't see him losing but I don't look at it as an easy win. There's a big difference competing in a much higher weight class but I know Canelo can surely manage it and already preparing for it for long.

In the first place, he won't decide to move up if he's not prepared physically and mentally.
So the next best option and challenge for him is to go up to 180-200 which is CW and challenge the champion and get another belt for history.
That is obviously the best option for him after he beats all the undefeated in the super middle weight division.
History for him will happen if he can beat Makabu.
This might not going to be an easy win, because climbing a weight division is a lot more riskier than the usual weight division he's fighting.
It's rare to see a fighter dominating every weight division he climbed like Manny.

He won't make another history by just beating Makabu, I guess he needs a tougher job and that is to dominate the Cruiserweight division and be an undisputed once again, not sure if someone had already done that but Canelo will surely make another mark on the history if he ever gets the success in this division.
2151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: December 17, 2021, 07:00:53 PM
^^ We will see, if Murata backs out of this schedule fight due to the postponement, it will be obvious that GGG has to seek other fights because he is already on the verge of retirement so he is going to milk his boxing career to the fullest before he goes out. Everyone is talking about Charlo as the best option for him though. But again, as I have said, still depends if Murata is still a willing opponent or not. As GGG as other options besides him, other champions to fight next year.
The fight was reportedly postponed but I think it will happen early next year. The omicron virus is the main reason but we haven't heard this virus is very dangerous, so once the study is finished, they'll probably resume normal operation where international flights are already available from countries that were currently banned, this fight is gonna happen, hopefully as they spend time to train already, and GGG needs a big fighter before he would retire.
2152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: December 17, 2021, 02:37:42 PM
Tron, Doge, and ADA are have been in the market for so long and it finds no similarities they have that we compared to each other. And besides, they have their own platform and have currently been used by the traders/investors. May they have low transaction fees that some traders are often to use this (even me) for withdrawals than using ETH.
What I could say is that they remain valuable and helpful to the market. Such contribution and market favors give the reason why these coins won't vanish like even to say that Dogecoins is a meme coin.
2153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weekend Trading, how do you feel about it? on: December 17, 2021, 02:17:50 PM
According to my experience on every weekend market looks in consolidation zone and a little or big dump happen on weekends mostly so we need to be careful on weekends or try to close trades
It is mostly a dump that happens during the weekend as most of the traders are taking a break (as I usually did). That is why I don't make trading as well and I set those days for my family. We can't be a whole life in trading, that was the fact. By simply giving time to rest and spend time with our family is a healthy lifestyle that I think, we all needed.
Anyways, 2 days are good enough while having a huge load during weekdays.
2154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember yearn finance (YFI)?? on: December 16, 2021, 11:28:20 PM
Generally i was checking altcoins chart on coingecko for trading purpose and i found yearn finance founded by Andre Cronje! This token was able to hit $43k milestone from $31 within just two months from launch. It might be a simple thing in crypto world but i'm remembering it because of it drew attention when it hit $90,786.89 ATH on May 12, 2021 which is bigger than bitcoin price. I'm not comparing it with btc but this is the coin which cross bitcoin price lol.
What do you think about this altcoin? Will it be worth in upcoming years?
It was a sign of short growing but it can't be tested like that. It was very overwhelming to see its price surpassing Bitcoin's ATH but this is not how to measure the capabilities of the project. Might it has but the question is how long it was able to sustain to be at the top of that was we called hype and it suddenly it has gone like a bubble. I don't want to think that sad ends but it was good to familiarize its market potentials or maybe, they could able provide the demand. And if that going to happen, we can expect a long life of this project.
2155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Dead??? on: December 16, 2021, 09:52:22 PM
I was actually quite surprised to see Doge shoot up 35% 2 days ago (or was it 3 days ago whichever) and this was in terms of BTC price,,, not dollar which I guess would have been even more?

And then everything came back again and it looks headed down as usual.

If people still are not convinced about the fate of memecoins,,, I have no idea what will.

That pump is just temporary, you can tell that they are still hyped up with DOGE, and due to its good liquidity, it's not hard for the whales to consider this coin as their playground, I consider it as gambling rather than investment because I'm pretty sure that it will not be price this way in the future, it will be significantly lower.
2156  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 16, 2021, 09:37:50 PM

Yes, Canelo has been jumping from one weight division to another. And even when he jumped to 175 pounds he was still able to handle himself well and even scored a great knockout victory against Kovalev. So I don't think Canelo has made this decision without taking into consideration how much weight he has to gain to be able to face Makabu. If he makes it to the scale, I think he can also handle Makabu well and could even bring him to the canvas as well. But 175 to 190 has 15 pounds in the middle. That's a big amount of weight Canelo has to gain.

Based on the body built of Canelo it wouldn't be hard for him to attain the 175 pounds requirement for the Cruiserweight division and yeah for sure he and or his team wouldn't allow jumping from one division to another if they know that Canelo isn't capable of. Maybe 190 pounds would be a bit challenging for him on how to attain it but somehow I think we shouldn't have to focus on it since Canelo has already a scheduled upcoming fight against Makabu.

175 lbs is for Light Heavy Weight, 190 lbs is for Cruiserweight. Maybe Canelo will weight between 180-190 lbs fighting in this division because for sure it will be hard for him to go to 200 lbs walking.

Well he can lift weights to gain body muscle but it might affect his speed, which will be his biggest advantage against a natural cruiserweight like Makabu.

He needs to work more to keep his speed even he's gaining weight, like what you just said, his speed will be his greatest advantage to
a natural cruiserweight division. If he can fight the way he originally has, even with this weight, the chance of winning is much better. Knowing Alvarez, he will do everything to excel.

He choose to step up. There must be a good reason aside from money. We will be the witness if he can proceed and bring more fights
from this new division.

2157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason why investors often lose money on: December 16, 2021, 08:48:09 PM
I don't know which version of investors the OP is referring to but I completely disagree, can you match your statement with those who have invested in btc, eth, bnb, sol, axs, dot, etc from the beginning or at a certain point where they buy-in?
If you as an investor didn't recognize the right time to sell or buy it is on you but don't generalize it to the behavior of every investor.

Exactly, because timing is really important, knowing when to buy and sell is the right strategy to make ourselves profitable. However, we cannot expect that everyone will be profitable as the demand of crypto for usage is not really that huge, therefore, expect that when some makes money from investing, others will also lose, it's just up to us to choose which side we will fall.
2158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 16, 2021, 08:28:25 PM
He is not a huge problem, Luka is, and the Lakers are lucky that Luka was out. It's a hard-fought victory and therefore they deserve the credit for beating a good team, but it's good to watch next time if Luka is going to play as he can play head to head with Lebron.
You probably need to edit your reply. By the way, even if Luka was out the Lakers was still struggling to get that win since most are lucky bunch on both teams. That was hell of a good game for both of them raining some threes during the overtime. Sure it will have a different outcome if Luka was playing with the Mavs.
It's so disrespectful if we don't recognize the effort of the team to win, Mavs put an effort on their win, they deserve the credit, and even if Luka was there, that does not guarantee that the Mavs will win.
2159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy alts at the right time? on: December 16, 2021, 01:34:09 PM
Buying alts begins when you did a good research on trusted and reliable sources that will provide you the best outcome. You should see them at coinmarketcap listed with cheap price in each coins or tokens, but make sure that altcoin has a consistent volume at popular trading sites. That's very important to determine how it will go along the way by the time altcoins glory will come.

All these recommendations fully apply to the purchase of altcoins, however it is necessary to emphasize that it is always good to buy when BTC is about to be in a bullish trend, and above all that the BTC market is in the correct stage, because if you buy Altcoins in the accumulation stage you have to wait as long as possible until the BTC rises in price and so the altcoins do, you also have to take into account that the altcoins should not be bought when the BTC market is in the stage of Distribution, because it is when millionaires sell and therefore the price of BTC goes down and when the altcoins go down a lot they suffer a lot.

I'd always check the market when to start in the recovery which it believes to be the best buying moment for us not to wait long to make a profit but that seems can't be done perfectly due to volatility. That is why I've changed my mind to buy during the dip without looking at such a thing as I know myself that I can still wait long. Even if the recovery will commence a month or a year but at least my bag is full already and I could certainly be in profit once we got back to bullish again.
2160  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 15, 2021, 09:03:00 PM
I know everyone is keeping an eye on Canelo and believing that he could make this upcoming fight of him against Makabu favor on him again which it is undeniable that Canelo is a great fighter with no record of loss but he needed to accomplish this planned game of him before he entertain another milestone on his career.

Since Canelo is moving up, he becomes an interest to anyone. Defeating Makabu is the first step if he is fit on a much above weight class. I don't consider Makabu as an easy opponent as he is used to fighting already on that catchweight.

Maybe he just wanted to test the waters and if he didn't like it or if he goes to win a belt then he can go down to LW and chase more against a undefeated champion in Beterbiev.

I also thought of this but if Canelo will win the fight, he will think he can handle that weight class and will be more open to fighting much above boxers. If he loses, he will ask for a rematch before considering going back to his preferred weight class.
I also consider that Canelo is well above MaKabu, Makabu is a great boxer, his technique is very good and in fact his training is not easy at all, I have seen some videos of him and they really are very promising, but when we compare him with Canelo , I think Canelo is still above the average of many boxers, because he is accustomed to his victories and Makabu is starting in a higher category than him and to welcome him, Canelo would say that Canelo is overqualified for him, without detracting from the effort of Makabu.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time that Canelo attempted to fight in a heavier division, so I would not really think that Canelo is better than Makabu as it's hard to compare both fighters who are not fighting in the same division, maybe the basis was only the popularity why you said that.
