321  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market smells of bitcoin halving. 54 day left! on: February 28, 2024, 04:52:24 PM
It's really going so high, we are getting closer to ATH already and that makes me feel super excited about the halving. But I still do warn people that the closer we get ,the higher chance of a crash as well and we should be careful, sure you should buy now but also have one hand on the trigger just in case anything happens, that should be the most important part and there could be something that can be done about it.

I personally believe that the best way to approach this would be making sure that you have a trailing stop loss just in case the price drops. Meanwhile, I do support people buying as much as they can, that would be the smart decision and should be getting to a point where it will make a lot of sense.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 28, 2024, 05:22:04 AM
Kevin De Bruyne feels a little too young to go just yet. Maybe in 3-4 years he could leave but for the time being it feels like that would be premature for him to leave, it feels like maybe he could just stay at Manchester City for some more years and win some more stuff. And considering City became a good team just as he joined the team, we could say that he will be legend of that club for a long time, and he will not really be absent anytime soon.

This is why I do not believe that he would leave, he will probably stay. Of course Saudi Arabia will make it a tough question for him, if he is offered 100 or even 200 million a year, that is the type of money that you can't really reject that easily, it would be hard.
323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 27, 2024, 08:41:55 PM
Inter has been steamrolling over the opponents and that does look like a bit of difficult situation to me, because nobody could catch up to them that is for sure but they are also tiring themselves at the league way too much as well.

I do not think that it would be too hard for them to recover from this, of course they are going to do better, but that doesn't mean that we are going to see them change anything anytime soon neither. We should consider them as a team who can afford to lose a few games and that should be the most important part. I believe that we need to do something a bit better, and that should be the most important thing, they can give it a bit of break and then they could focus on UCL a lot more that way.
324  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we see BTC at ATH before the year ends? on: February 27, 2024, 08:32:23 PM
By the looks of it, we probably will be able to do it. I am not saying that it will be easy or anything like that, but it seems like it would be possible. I mean we are just about 10k away now, give or take, and that is not something that would be too hard. We are talking about just a 20% increase and we are there, and 20% increase is basically one day job in bitcoin world sometimes, it is really that easy. We should consider it as a possibility and not really focus on "if" but just when.

I believe that we will reach there before the year ends, it will not be simple but it will happen and we should be happy about it. By November or December we will not be asking these questions and we will be in full force bull run.
325  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k possible before end of this month? on: February 27, 2024, 04:59:42 PM
It looks like the possibility is there, not saying that it will though. Bitcoin is a volatile and unpredictable market so it could very well go above 60k that is true but it could also fail to do that as well and we wouldn't really know about it, we are just making a guess here.

The best thing to do at this stage would be making sure that we are dealing with something that could benefit us as much as possible, that should be fine on the long run. I know that it is going to be not that easy, and we may end up with some trouble if we are not careful. Hopefully, people will end up with a good return eventually, the increases are required to keep the hype going so that people are keeping crypto world more popular which benefits us all.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: February 26, 2024, 08:56:41 PM
I really do not get why there are so many controversies with these games, I am happy that Fenerbahce won, because I always bet on Fenerbahce and Galatasaray to win, so whatever the end result was, I do not care, I am happy that they won.

Surely it must be a problem for the league itself, but as someone who is not there and don't care about the teams, all I care is my bet and my bet is a win so for me all is good Cheesy. I get that there must be some people complaining but this seems to be like every single game, whenever these two teams play, we see them end up with the other side complaining about a position or something, and it's never ending, which is why it feels like maybe it's fake, there can't be an issue EVERY game.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 Oscar Awards bets and discussions on: February 26, 2024, 07:15:40 PM
There needs to be some sort of change on how they decide on the winner. We have seen some very high quality movies that won it, but we have seen some super high popularity movies that won it as well, there needs to be some balance between the two.

I mean it is obvious that there are obvious snubs, like for example Margot Robbie not even being a nominee, I would understand not winning that is perfectly fine, but not even being a nominee? But at the same time Oppenheimer has been getting almost every single award up until now, which means that if Oscars do not give the best movie to them, it would create a lot of controversy.

This could be good or bad based on two things, would be bad because it would mean people would not give enough credit for Oscars and enough of these stupid decisions and Oscars will lose its attention, whereas it would be good because it would create headlines and make Oscars a big news once again, for something bad maybe, but I bet there will be some people who will support it just because humanity likes to argue.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 26, 2024, 06:20:31 PM
Xabi to Bayern or Liverpool will be the only things that will make sense. I still think that he needs to grow a bit and eventually he will go to Real Madrid, they do tend to hire managers that have some more guaranteed results, like they want to see a manager be great at somewhere else before they hire them, so Xabi had just one year, not even a full one, so they wouldn't offer him.

Ancelotti will stay for a while longer, meanwhile Xabi will go to either Bayern or Liverpool, as we all can guess he will do great in those clubs and then he will go to Real. This is what I believe will happen, this is of course just my guess and I might be wrong but that's what I believe will happen. This is why it would be smart for him to leave.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of cryptocurrency. on: February 26, 2024, 06:04:09 PM
I do believe that we are going to make some good amount of profit if we are careful, and that should not be all that complicated. The future is bright and the money to be made is still there. I agree that you are not going to be wealthy within a few years thanks to bitcoin, so that is why people are looking at altcoins. The smartest people use bitcoin and ethereum type of high ranked coins to make a decent profit, and then turn around and using their profits to buy altcoins to make even more profit as well.

I believe that the best thing to do right now would be just focusing on how hard it could be to make some money that way. In the end, it is going to be something simple, like investing into that one single token that you had no hope in, that goes berzerk, that will make you rich.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not the future, it is the present on: February 26, 2024, 04:59:32 PM
I agree with this statement, I think it is quite good and we should be considering the situation to be growing a lot better. Right now Bitcoin is the present, I would not call it crypto is the present because those are not the same thing. Alts still have a million miles to go, and that is why I think they are the future, maybe not even the future as well, so we should be careful about them and not really consider them equally big.

But, if we are talking about bitcoin itself, then we could think that we are going to consider bitcoin as the present since there are so many things are happening at the same time. This is why bitcoin is our current present and that means we should be considering how prominent it is already in peoples lives.
331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning comes before earning on: February 25, 2024, 08:15:26 PM
If you could learn to learn, that would be the hardest part. What I mean is that you should learn ,we all agree to that, but HOW do you learn? DO you watch videos? If so, then which videos? Do you read about how to do it? If so, then what do you read? Do you talk to people or follow someone on social media? Then who? All these things do matter eventually and I think it is the result that we should be getting, we are not entirely sure what is going on and we need to make sure that we could learn how to learn first.

If you can figure that out, rest is just studying and learning how to be better. I believe that we are going to end up with a life that may not be all that easy to handle, and could have some problems overall if we can't find a decent place to learn.
332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss and Trailing Stop Loss in Spot Trading on: February 25, 2024, 07:46:25 PM
Trailing stoploss is amazing during bull runs. If you use that and keep on trying to figure out what you are going to do with all the money you will make, that would very well be the only things you have to do. Because if you use trailing stop loss and go all in, then you are going to make a lot of money.

Price will keep on rising and rising and rising during the bull run, and you will keep on profiting during that period, if you are doing a good job then you should be able to make good enough money to not worry about anything else. I have done that during 2021 for the first time ever and I can't explain to you how much glad I ended up that bull run, I am super thankful to the people here on this forum that explained what trailing stop loss is at that time.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession soon? on: February 25, 2024, 06:16:43 PM
I would say global recession could happen based on the interest rate and not because of unemployment. Normally, when the rate is very low, business people do not consider putting their money into a tiny savings interest, whereas if the interest rate is high then they would put all their money into it.

It is the difference between them wanting to grow their business with their money and even with debt because rates are low, and hiring more people based on that because the business is growing, versus the fact that they would simply just put their money into savings account and leave it there. THAT could be the reason why we may have recession, it may not be tomorrow, but that feels like it's already starting right now.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: The increase of dollar affecting underdeveloped countries economy on: February 25, 2024, 05:51:45 AM
This can be both good or bad depending on the situation you are in. I live in a nation that has a fiat currency that is weaker against the dollar, and that is something that benefits me but doesn't benefit other citizens in my nation. Something simple, like a playstation 5, could be as cheap as 300-400 dollars, and that may feel like a very little amount, these days kids make that much weekly from their part-time jobs in the USA.

However, in nations where 400 dollars is the minimum wage, how can someone spend and entire months salary on it? But for people like me, who works and makes 800-900 dollars (and even 100+ dollars from signatures here) we do end up making a good amount of money compared to other people in our nation.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 23, 2024, 02:14:02 PM
Everyone thinks that Real Sociedad is the better team and will win, but the reality is that Villareal is a team that likes to get a draw, they will play quite well defensively and I think they will do their best to get a draw here as well. A bet that is a draw OR sociedad win could be better than just Sociedad win. I know that the possibility of Villareal getting a draw from this game is slim, but it is not impossible and we should consider the possibility for sure.

I think the best way to go about this game would be picking the draw. This is of course just my guess and I could be wrong and maybe Sociedad will get the win like many expect, but I think it's quite close to being something that would be a draw and boring game.
336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share Your Thoughts on the Recent Crypto Price Drop on: February 23, 2024, 02:04:56 PM
There has been yet again a small drop, which is fine and not a big deal at all. We should consider that as normal and shouldn't really have a problem at all. I believe that the best thing to do at this moment would be focusing on what we could do, and that should be the priority in the end. I get that we are not going to end up with anything that will go down even more, not like some bear run is about to start right on the verge of this situation, but that also doesn't mean that we are going to stop, it's just not the same.

I believe that we are going to go back up again, just not right now and we need to make sure that we could give it some break, we may end up doing as well as we could hope for and should be fine eventually.
337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Similar but not same 🤔 on: February 23, 2024, 01:42:56 PM
Talking about forex and crypto being different, forex is a currency backed by governments and dealing with SUPER high margins, whereas crypto itself is not a high margin thing, it's a currency that is free, it's a payment AND and an asset, also if you want to use high margin you can but you could also invest into it long term.

If you buy Dollars as investment as a European, there is a possibility that maybe you will make a few dollars, but not much, so you do high margin, but if you invest into bitcoin as a European, you could make a ton of profit. That is the difference, and the difference will always be there, it's quite important to know why they are so different from each other and why people make it look like that.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 22, 2024, 06:06:51 PM
Not sure if it is Tuchel or Kane that has the problem. I am not even joking, I know that I am not a superstitious person and I do not believe in "curse" or anything like that, but Spurs has failed to win anything in over 10 years he has been there, lets say that it wasn't possible because Spurs were terrible. But, now that we are here, Kane lost the super cup on the first game of his Bayern career, and then he lost the cup, now the league and looks like even UCL as well.

It's really a weird thing to me if you ask me and he has been quite terrible for a while. I think it would make sense if we could just see him do better, and he hasn't been scoring like they expected him to score, not like became like Lewandowski for them neither honestly.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: The influence of cryptocurrencies in economy on: February 22, 2024, 05:20:51 PM
Having crypto in everyday persons life makes it so much better for the longest time. It enhances the possibility of making more money and having an out.

Right now, regular people (who are the majority in the world) who makes normal amount of money, the median average or less, those people will not have the financial freedom that easily, a few may end up giving up 20 years of their life, just spend as minimum as possible, do not go out, do nothing basically and save and have a better life after that, which I respect if that's their choice but most people want to live their life as well which causes a lot of trouble for finances. Crypto shows a way out of there and could be the most important asset that we have seen in our life.
340  Economy / Economics / Re: Some persons lacks financial sensibilities on: February 22, 2024, 03:11:01 AM
This is a cultural thing as well. In some nations while women work a lot, in some other nations it's still a gap, men work far more than the women work. In those nations, women do not work as much, sure some of them do, but not as many of them as some other nations. Because of this, there is an arrangement between the guy and the woman, the woman stays at home, cooks meal, cleans, washes the dishes, cleans the clothes, irons, takes care of the child, all of these are still very very hard work, as someone who has been single for a while in my life, I can say that it's a great pain to do all those too.

However, because you have an agreement that she does that and you go work, it means you are responsible for getting her gifts during these special days, things she wouldn't be able to buy for herself. Cultural differences, it's okay to have multiple different type of cultures in this regard.
