1281  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could hit $100,000 by the end of 2024 - Standard Chartered - Surprised? on: May 19, 2023, 07:46:53 PM
Not really, I do think that it will go up to that in 2024, that is a good and realistic approach. He didn't say this month, or even this year, he didn't even say next year exactly, he said it will be by the end of 2024, so when we are closer to 2025, that means it is going to have like a full 6 months give or take after the halving as well. That is quite possible and I think it will happen.

I personally believe going just like %30 above the ATH price after another halving is not unlikely, it is what the expectation is and I believe that will happen. I know that many people are expecting it to be a lot different and they want it to be something quite different in the end, but I think that's not going to be the case, we will see 100k by the end of 2024.
1282  Economy / Speculation / Re: It was easy to know the SELL of this week with a simple chart analysis on: May 19, 2023, 07:00:40 PM
I don't think it will go down to 25k anyhow, it is understandable that we have already gone down to 27k levels but that's about it, we are not going down anymore and the price will be what it is and it is not going to change anytime soon. I hope that it does, but I do not think that it will change anytime soon.

We are going to see the price stay here for a while and then it will start going back up again and that will be a lovely period, we are going to be quite happy about that. I understand that people may not be happy about not going down anymore because they would like to buy cheap again so they can sell higher, but the reality is that we are not going to see that happen anytime soon, we are going to see it move a lot higher from here without going down.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: May 19, 2023, 06:14:59 PM
It is not a good reason to vote for a president and that is USA's trouble. No matter who wins this election, it is going to be because they will be hated more than the other guy. Trump may win because there will be 3.5+ year difference since he was last president and people may forget what he was like and that is the important thing. If you give him just 1 year as president, people want to change him too, and same happened with Biden as well.

You just need to realize that is not a good enough reason to pick someone, just because you hate the other. They need better candidates, not Trump, not Biden, pick someone people will vote because they want that person to be president, not because they don't want the other candidate to be president, that makes the nation just go worse and worse.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 18, 2023, 09:25:30 PM
I definitely agree that Heat were the better team but did not expected it to be like this. Celtics are a great team who saw finals just recently, and to see them play like this on a very important game really disappointed me. The coach was the single most important thing, that is the key point here. I mean coach put in Tatum way too late on third quarter, for a while Miami were like lowry and butler and so forth, and Celtics still had Brogdon as their best player, and then put in Tatum but not Brown.

I am sorry but players won't get "tired" on these games, they may, but if the other ones are then let yours play too. I think it is quite important. I believe that the best thing about Heat is that they have a much better head coach without a doubt.
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most altcoins are fake (wakanda) on: May 18, 2023, 09:04:42 PM
There are over 30 thousand projects created in the crypto world so far, that's an official number and maybe even a lot more but at least 30k projects created, can you imagine all of them were real? Obviously when you reach those levels there are some of them who are just fake, and I do not mean like just failed, I mean literally fake and were created by devs that wanted to get funding and spend that to get rich, that's it.

I have seen that myself with my own eyes, I have been hired by people and hoped that I would get rich getting paid in those tokens and then the owner just took all the money and used it to buy stuff for themselves and just rug pulled the whole project. Do not fall for them, if a project doesn't have what it takes, then there is no reason you should be paying them to get it.
1286  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial education or 1million dollars on: May 18, 2023, 08:12:42 PM
I would worry about the person who says anything but a million dollars. You really do not need financial education to realize that you can live the way you do normally and never need to work again for that kind of money. Obviously there are some people who do work and make money more than this, so they spend more than this but that means those people usually have both of these as well.

But if you gave me this money, not only I would be able to live with it forever, but I would also make it to 10+ million dollars very very easily, wouldn't even take 10 years to be fair. How? I would invest wisely enough, but more importantly I would invest in diversified way so I wouldn't be bothered. I could literally not invest and can still survive like 400 months with this, easily.
1287  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we headed to a nowhere economic direction ? on: May 18, 2023, 07:18:45 PM
I believe that we are, but we are not going to like where we are headed at all. Communism and any type of "we need to consider the bottom as well" type of left views were disabled by the media. Because media is owned by rich people and most of the people you see on TV are not only getting their money from those rich people but they are rich themselves as well.

You may dislike it as much as you want, but with the world getting more automatic, we are not going to be able to find jobs for everyone, even if they accept "ANY" job, we won't have job availability for everyone, when you consider what jobs people trained for, that number grows smaller. So, the system we have in place makes the rich richer and that's fine, but the poor will only be getting worse and worse, basically barely be able to eat.
1288  Economy / Economics / Re: How do banks generate income? on: May 18, 2023, 05:51:52 PM
People keep talking about how banks are making profit by giving out loans and charging for stuff etc, but their only cost is not just paying people their savings back, that is not the issue, they are also doing operational costs. All those buildings, all those thousands of workers, they all come down to one thing, spending.

It means even though they are making money from your money and not really spending their own money during that, they are also spending money to give you this chance as well, even the electricity bill is a bill they need to spend, however small that might be in comparison. This is why always have a situation where you need to see the point for Banks as well. I hate them, but I give them what they are due, they always find a way.
1289  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US default a reality? on: May 18, 2023, 05:05:33 PM
I don't really get why Mccarthy pushing his luck, I mean he can do whatever he wants to, nobody can force him to do anything, but lets be honest and realize that Democrats have enough votes to block him anyway, so he can't get whatever he wants, he can negotiate for a positive voting, which would mean he will ask for cuts, but he can't get the cuts neither all by himself at least. So all in all this would just go on.

Eventually public will ask when he will finally raise it, because otherwise millions of government workers won't get paid and they will know who is responsible for it and they won't enjoy that and republicans will bleed out even more votes and will be in trouble. They are barely standing as it is, doing this would only hurt them.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 18, 2023, 04:01:50 PM
Having this type of win can definitely mean only good things for them. Looking for the current situation, they can win the league title, they can win the fa cup and they can win the UCL this season.

Pep definitely built a team that is better than any we have seen in a long time, maybe the only better team I can remember would be Real team that won 3 in a row and Barcelona team that did sextuple, those are the only other two teams I can remember that is better, that means when you consider 10-15 years in the past, that is just 1-2 seasons total with 1 team, that is an all time good team. I sense that they will get the league by the looks of it, and Inter should b easy, not saying they will get it neither, they may or they may not, but I can say that they have the biggest chance compared to Inter.
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some needed features of an online casino. on: May 18, 2023, 01:42:24 PM
It is unthinkable for any casino to not have a chat feature. I think that is the most important one and it will stay the most important one for a long time as well. I feel like if you can handle that, then we are going to actually end up seeing something changing for good and that should be the most important thing.

Not many people have anything to show for it and they think that it is not going to change much neither, but I believe that if you could end up with something decent, then people will be able to actually make a big change for you in the end. I believe that if we can make a big change, then we are going to end up with something like multiple coins too, that would be good, but chat is still very much the most important one by far.
1292  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend more-do you get more? on: May 17, 2023, 07:49:25 PM
I think it is head to head almost every month. I do spend "more" as in I know that I get into debt, but not debt that I can't pay, which means that I end up spending more than I have, but per month basis it becomes break even.

One example would be, I can get 5 thousand dollars worth of debt if I want to, not that I have that much debt, but I can if I want to, but then pay 200 per month, that means 200 per month doesn't really ruin me, that's fine and it doesn't really impact my life as in make me poor suddenly, would be very bad so I don't have it, but the example shows that the debt is more than I make, but the per month one is not. That type of is acceptable, if you are going to spend more than you make, focus on making it that way.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 16, 2023, 08:59:49 PM
Leipzig is third again after having a bad season at the start and they are a good team, so I understand people thinking that Bayern may lose it, but we will never know how Bayern would play. This is the same team that beat Dortmund easily and then got a draw with Hoffenheim, when a team does that you know that they are inconsistent and that is why making an assumption is a tough thing and can't be really done, it will definitely have a lot of troubles.

I personally think that they will have an easy win there is no doubt about that but the fact is that we are not going to end up with any problems at all and we are going to end up with Bayern getting a win, but that is not guaranteed and we need to wait and see. I will bet on it anyway, a simple Bayern win bet should suffice.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: May 16, 2023, 08:31:30 PM
All those players for Crotia are a bit one sided, Gvardiol becoming the best defender in the world? Livakovic best goalkeeper? It has been talked about before, France is still by far better even for the long term, and yes Croatia is a good team but that doesn't mean they are the best team, they were finalist in the previous world cup and they were at semi finals this one, that is their level and that's a good one, there is nobody doubting them as a good team, they are good, but to think that they are the best would be a dream and not the reality.

Realize that they are missing a superstar that can change any game like Mbappe and you could figure out what's their problem is. Argentina barely won, but they did, and that's what matters in the end result.
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Flokipepe #FPP on: May 16, 2023, 07:15:34 PM
First of all, this sucks and it's terrible and we are just mocking about at this point and shows the level where memecoins dropped down to, it's really terrible. Secondly no project on this planet could get close to another one by just sharing the address and that's it, this is just a way of asking money.

It would have been wiser to open up a topic, saying you are poor, and you are starving, and you need money to survive, and you could show proof of it with some images, and then ask for money, handout, donations basically in charity way. At least that would be honest, if you need money and I mean really need money there are places in the crypto world that can help you, if you do not, then why would anyone give you money anyway.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: May 15, 2023, 06:15:05 PM
Ajax being third is not a success for them, just because AZ went ahead for a bit that they may have to win a game or they will be fourth type of situation they are in, doesn't mean that getting back on third will be anything good, it is going to hurt everyone anyway. Ajax needs to recover quickly, this isn't a good look for them, not a team with this much history and wide spread scouting network neither, they need to be a lot better.

I personally believe that Feyenoord will keep the streak going and win another one next season, because Ajax do not have a clear roadmap to become better, need a better manager and need to replace the players with better ones, that is not a single season thing and it will take at least another season for them to get better.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 15, 2023, 05:02:41 PM
Just leipzig and köln left for Bayern, and we all know that they are good enough to beat those two teams easily in normal situations. I can't guarantee a win of course because it's football and sometimes we are wrong, but I feel like that is not going to be an issue at all, they will get a win. I think the best thing we can do at this point is to make sure that the world continues as we can, and that should be a lot normal.

We are not going to end up with anything bad or anything, but we need to make sure that we can get more firm grasp of the situation at hand, which could be something more careful, like not betting huge amounts on Bayern wins, I think they will, but no reason to risk it that way at all, we can move further along.
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin - PEPE on: May 14, 2023, 08:43:03 PM
This is going to push people a lot and I would guess that we can't really do it too much, and I think we shouldn't go overboard with these meme projects. I get it, this is another meme and this one is loved a lot as well but if we keep going with just loved memes forever then we are going to end up with terrible stuff, just don't do it, it makes no sense.

I think it would be wise to invest into things that make more sense, that way you could at least invest a lot better into these things without a worry. I am not saying you should never invest into risky silly stuff like these, it's fun I get it, I would never do that but I understand others. However, it would be better if you spend just a small amount so you are not upset when you lose it all.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 13, 2023, 06:53:19 PM
After Lens win, I think they will probably be the second, they got over one of the most stressful games, not the hardest, but the most stressful games, it means they could end up with a good ending. We still do not know who is going to be the second but I am feeling like they could be the winner and they could do it.

Let's see how the league ends but I can guarantee 100% that it will not be PSG that will lose the title, they are going to be the champions for sure. There is three point difference already and Lens has one more game, think about that, with another win it will be 6 points again and with that there isn't that many games left for PSG to lose points to neither. I think it will be first PSG, second Lens and third Marseille, just as exactly how it is today.
1300  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is Poses a Great Challenge for Delayed Gratification on: May 13, 2023, 06:15:33 PM
It should be exactly the opposite, if inflation exists, do not delay gratification because you need it right away. However, bitcoin has been disappointing during this period, since inflation is still going on I was assuming that bitcoin would go on getting higher a bit more.

I understand that fed interest rates made some people focus on a bit more towards savings and not bitcoin, but this is not fiat, we should have kept it going as much as we can and that should have been the move forward for bitcoin. I understand that some people wanted to get out, but we shouldn't have gone down as much as 16k, that was too much and it should have been prevented as much as possible. The fact that it is not prevented and the price dropped is a bit disappointing.
