1221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 04, 2023, 07:05:15 PM
The early goal was basically a warning to Inter (and to be fair to every other team next season as well) that you can't just slow start or just have even 10 seconds where you are not careful, this team is so good, even one possession mistake will be turned into a goal. Not every team will take advantage of your every miss, they will miss themselves as well, not this team because if you make even one mistake, they are there to turn that into a goal.

I think after getting FA cup, the most important thing for City right now that they are about to win all the three big cups and that doesn't happen all that often, sure City wins the league pretty often, but not FA cup, and the fact that they have both of them this season is a proof that they will try their very best to get UCL as well, and they most certainly will.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 04, 2023, 01:51:02 PM
People reacting like Nuggets have been dominant forever, they are at their first ever finals and even though they have been playing like they always do and nobody has been able to stop them, it is clear that they do lack the experience at finals, and the fact that they are facing 8th seed Miami proves that Miami has a lot more playoff experience and talent and yet they are still incapable of stopping Jokic and Murray pick, not that any other team has neither.

I kept saying Lebron/AD would have been able to stop them easily, and they got swept, think how much I have been wrong about that. In the end we are going to see a big change when it finally is figured out how to stop them, there must be a way and it will eventually work, just don't know how that can be done so far, maybe Spo will find a way.
1223  Economy / Economics / Re: You are not prepared what's coming quick analytics exacly of situation on: June 03, 2023, 03:03:06 PM
This isn't even the most logical thing I read today, let alone in general. This is as obvious as it gets and everyone is aware of it. Why do you think that we are accumulating bitcoin so much? We know that economy can't handle the current situation, and do you know when will be the next debt ceiling increase USA will have? 2025, exactly one year after the halving.

So all in all we are all aware that a huge increase in bitcoin price coming because a huge decrease in value of fiat coming along with it. Russia doing worse everyday due to the war, China doing worse due to huge amount of bankruptcies and real estate issues, USA doing worse because of debt problems, UK doing worse because of brexit, and many other reasons. So in 2 years all the nations will crumble again, not as much as 2020-2022 period I assume but they will and we will have a bigger increase.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 03, 2023, 01:18:05 PM
To even consider Messi could be remotely bad in anything could be just kidding yourself. I can easily say that even the rivalry with Ronaldo was a bit fabricated if you ask me, dude had 90 goal year, 90!

He is by far the best player I have ever seen, the most skilled and talented one as well, he had great teammates at times and won a lot with them, some seasons the team wasn't all that good, but he never chased to go to a good team, he stayed with his team until he was already quite old, and then he started to move, he could have played anywhere, any good team in the world, and make them better and won a lot with them, but he preferred to stay in Barcelona. He is the best footballer the world has ever seen to me, and I hope to see him during next world cup as well, no matter his age.
1225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: June 02, 2023, 08:39:33 PM
I am not entirely sure if Uefa or Fifa could do something about it, but they should at the very least send the ref an army of lawyers they paid for, which we all know they have, probably greatest lawyers in all nations, and let them work on figuring out who was doing the acts at the airport and help the ref sue them one by one and ban them from all football stadiums as well. If they can do that, then it will show the whole world that you can't do that, or your life would be over.

There are consequences of your actions and if you do not face them then you will think that it's fine. If something is illegal, but nobody stops you from doing it, and you are free to go, is it really illegal? This is why there needs to be consequences for anyone who attacked the ref, with his family on his side nonetheless.
1226  Economy / Economics / Re: I hear de-dollarsotaion over and over again it's funny on: June 02, 2023, 07:48:10 PM
I do agree that it is not going to happen, I mean not because dollar won't devalue, look at inflation and prices of things and you will see how it drops in value. Dollar is mismanaged and a terrible currency and I am on bitcoin because of that, don't get me wrong thinking I am supporting dollar in any way or shape, it is terrible and take all your money out, put it on gold if you do not trust bitcoin but get out of dollar for sure, it is a terrible currency.

But we have tow things, first of all other nations can't afford to de-dollarize themselves, there is no way that they can do that and still be a big economy, they need the money coming from USA without a doubt, when it doesn't come, they bankrupt. Secondly, other currencies are even worse than Dollar, even though Dollar is terrible, others are even worse, that's their benefit, if others did just decent, not even good, just decent, they would have been better.
1227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making a x10 or x100 by short selling on: June 02, 2023, 06:51:18 PM
Can't believe that people are still going for it, we all know that's not how it should be and we all know that's going to end up hurting you on the long run and people are still doing it for some reason, I have no idea why and I have no understanding why but that's just the sad truth. Just realize that it is not going to be a good period and it will not benefit you to short without understanding the market and definitely not making that much money because you will fail instead of making it.

People who aim making 100x or even 10x are people who do not understand the market, is it possible? Maybe to a few, but normally this is as improbable for you as it gets if you have to ask about it here. It is going to be something that hurts if we keep this up, we need to make people realize otherwise.
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancakeswap $CAKE. Why do its price drop a lot after inflation cut proposal? on: June 02, 2023, 05:53:49 PM
I think inflation matters and this should help them without a doubt. But, we are also talking about losing the DeFi hype overall as well. It's still there, it still exists, but it's gone beyond the bear market of the crypto world as well. If it was just bear market that made it go down like this, I would have expected something like 5 to 10 range as well, that would make sense.

The extra drop from there was just the DeFi world not having the same amount of attention that it used to have. When people lose attention to something, they start looking for other stuff and that is why it has been dropping significantly. If there is a recover at defi world one day in the future then maybe we can see this get better again, but until then it's going to be like this.
1229  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 02, 2023, 05:16:15 PM
I think it is going to end up 30k+ and it will stay around those levels. I do not see it go 32k+ for example, that would be too much for one month and I am guessing that it will hurt the price and all. However, if we could end up with something bigger and better, then we could do bigger and better as well.

I think the realistic approach is that it will be either barely going above 30k, as in literally just 30.1-30.2 etc type of small increase, or it will probably end up with something under 30k again, but I still think that it will be higher. Whatever it has been so far, it may see higher than that, and that is the road we are on because of the halving, people are afraid of selling, and they are a lot more willing to buy at this moment as well.
1230  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC/LTC pair. Buying LTC Halving on: June 02, 2023, 03:59:11 PM
I do not think that it will do this well. I can see it doing a bit well, not saying it will be nothing at all, certainly there is a charm to it during halving and afterwards, but %700 seems a bit too unrealistic. I think even on the best ever cases, I can see double, I mean not that I see that, it won't do double but that is the best ever possibility and nothing more.

I think it is quite important to realize that we are not going to end up with anything profitable if we keep on just trusting these people who are promoting stuff they work on. If you ask Elon, he will say tesla is the best car, if you ask Tim Cook, apple is the best phone, are they right? Maybe, to some, but not to all. Same here, litecoin would be great to Charlie obviously, but does the market think so? We have to wait and see.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 01, 2023, 08:56:35 PM
I think it all depends on the transfers they will do. If Napoli sells Osimhen, which looks like a likely situation then we are going to see them not really do something this great when the time comes. But, when we are talking about them not selling him, then they might be good. Or they have other good players as well, lets see how they will do during summer transfer window, based on how they will do according to the transfers, then we can predict give or take.

This is why I do my long term outright league winner bets based on a few other situations and up until something that is like 1 week before the season starts, that helps me a lot. I know that some people will dislike that too because they keep getting players but it would be basically understandable at that point.
1232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What role have altcoins played in cryptocurrency industry on: June 01, 2023, 08:52:10 PM
The biggest one must be trying to make people feel like they are not too late on crazy returns. We know that we are not going to make 100x from bitcoin anymore, but we could maybe make that with some of the coins, even if it's not the price going up that much, it could be staking or some rewards or something like that which would see us have a lot more of those coins and then even if it goes up 20x then we would profit 100x.

So that potential of getting silly rich thanks to one investment is still out there. Has it happened? It has, but is it common and will happen frequently? Of course not. This is why even though it's a good idea to do this, it's also not a smart idea to keep trying your luck all the time since you may end up losing as well.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 01, 2023, 08:16:49 PM
I think it is obvious that Heat is good, they are at the finals and I do agree that Nuggets will dominate at home, but then when it's back to Miami, Nuggets will have some hard time for sure. They are so used to breezy air of cold Denver, Miami will be hard for them and they have been resting for sure and that will help at first but then it's going to be both teams going into third game so I doubt that would matter.

I am not seeing a 4-5 game series, it will probably be another 6-7 game series if you ask me. Obviously I can't guarantee anything, Nuggets may sweep, or hell even Heat may sweep, how would we know. I just assume that after the first two games, the difference Nuggets have will get a lot smaller and teams will be a lot closer to each other.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 01, 2023, 07:12:15 PM
I honestly think that Galtier should have been fired already. That dude is not good enough for this team, he never had any experience this high before and he was suddenly hired for the spot, I get that there are some situations where people favor one over the other even if data doesn't back that up, it is a personal connection thing.

However, PSG is way too big for any of that, we saw what happened at UCL when you hire based on like and not merit. They need to get someone bigger. Last year I screamed Zidane all summer long and wanted them to get him, this year it is the same for me they need to get him. Zidane would take this team to UCL finals without a doubt, dude is magical at management and they are still not getting him. Pay him whatever he wants, doesn't matter how much, pay him as much as Mbappe if you have to and get him.
1235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing and trading in crypto: can make you or mar you. on: June 01, 2023, 06:39:15 PM
It's such a sad situation that people do not understand how crypto could be used for legit investments. You think big companies like grayscale or microstrategy end up investing into silly NFT's or defi projects or even those shit stuff people call meme? Obviously not, they won't buy doge or pepe or shiba or whatever, they won't buy any nft, they will however consistently keep on buying more and more bitcoin.

Why do you think from governments to big companies all end up buying bitcoin consistently, why is it something they all do when they are rich and the poorer it gets the sillier investments get? Because those rich people know what can make money for them and know what won't and they invest accordingly. Take them as example and not these silly stuff.
1236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A opinion on regrets on: June 01, 2023, 05:41:30 PM
I do agree that there are always new opportunities to get rich, that is a good point however I would like to also point out that nobody missed anything with bitcoin or ethereum neither. I can't talk about the memes that were named, those are stuff I stay away from so I am not going to talk about them, but for the others you could still get rich.

People think getting rich is about putting in 100 dollars and getting out 1 million dollars in a few years, or even maybe in a few months. That's not that commonly possible, maybe it has happened in the crypto world before but it's not common. Getting rich usually means putting in 100 dollars per month for 10 years and then retiring early at the age of 35 because price went up enough. That's how you get rich, and you should aim at that.
1237  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to the bitcoin rate if the global economy collapses in 2023? on: May 31, 2023, 09:32:33 PM
Things will definitely go bassark if the global economy go wrong, also there will be an unstable experience in market technology and the economy will be at ransom especially with countries that are developing and dependent on other developed ones, there will be scarcity, inflation and many unbanlance situations throughout, maybe by then, also those that have alternative to financial economy will be evaded of the consequences when the economy go crashing down, which os one of the reasons many are investing in cryptocurrency today, because they don't want to be totally dependent of the fiat economy.
I think those poor nations are the first ones to get screwed. The bigger ones try to increase their debt and try to get away with it as much as they can, look at USA for example, they didn't do well during and afterwards of pandemic, but they did better than most other nations financially.

They lost way too many people which was a horrible thing, we wouldn't want to see people dying and even though people were mad about all the extra regulations like lockdowns and all, all those people who died would have rather not died as well, ask them if they thought lockdowns were bad, and yet they financially did better than other nations even if they were worse than before. That's how you get better, that's how everyone should approach this subject.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 31, 2023, 09:24:50 PM
Having an understanding of how Dortmund needs to be a lot more "calm" when it comes down to the last games would be the key thing to work on and it is not going to be easy. Bayern didn't tremble, they won the last game just like they suppose to and Mainz wasn't really a team that Dortmund should be having trouble against neither, losing to them was the most psychological loss I have ever seen, it wasn't due to their tactic, not their roster quality, not anything else, it was purely just because they were not ready for it and that's it.

This is why I honestly believe that we should see Dortmund work on the last weeks, how they could do that is beyond me, that's managers job, but they need to be more consistent on the last weeks to get the title.
1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 31, 2023, 07:10:23 PM
I think Miami is a different type of team, it is not really that easy to decide how they are going to go. I do agree that they are going to be on the heel, Nuggets is a better team but this team wasn't even in the playoffs, they were at play-in tournament and then joined as 8th seed and then managed to be at the finals.

That's usually not something we see, so it is normal that we see them as underdogs here and Nuggets as the potential winners but that was the case for every single series they played so far, they have been the underdogs on every single series and yet they managed to win. I still think Nuggets will win, Jokic is just on a whole another level but that doesn't mean that Miami will give up without a fight neither, they may win.
1240  Economy / Economics / Re: UAE is the biggest gold buyer of Russia during this war on: May 31, 2023, 06:10:15 PM
Considering how important it is for nations to store gold, and brings them a ton of safety and security, I think it is a super smart decision. If it benefits your nation then sanctions mean nothing and should be ignored, UAE will be benefiting from this, Russia saves the short term by selling the gold, but they are going to be hurt if it goes on for longer, whereas UAE will become richer and richer, would be easy to get cheaper loans as well if they ever need it but looks like they probably won't.

All in the end shows that UAE did the right thing, forget about the war or sanctions or anything else, this isn't about that, this is about government making the nation a better place, I support them for this action and I would highly suggest everyone else to consider doing it too.
