I think it's just a normal reaction from the government and the Central Bank of the Philippines to actually have that suggestion because many have countries have already branded bitcoin as something that can be a scam or scheme, and as the government, it's just their means of protecting their people against any possible and probable harm as a primary reaction. I think, however, that people if they really want to delve deep into the bitcoin market, they should study and learn about its ins and outs through their own means to help them in their path of to more successful ventures in the bitcoin world.
3242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how improve trading on: December 29, 2017, 07:16:25 PM
Good to ask for trading tips to our community. No one has came up an expert in this market, you need to learn from your mistakes.
Be cautious from ponzi schemes that are posted on blogs where they ask and promise you to double your btc.
Do not invest all of your capital, make investments that you can afgord to loose.
Find a best trading platform like bittrex and start without hesitating.

I think the best and the most important thing to consider when trading is knowledge. I think the best way to earn that knowledge is through experience and through reading and viewing tutorials around the net or from a reliable mentor that can teach you good moves and tips. As you gain more and more experience under your belt, it would be easier for you to appraise and see the movements and trends that affect bitcoin and altcoins, so it can help you choose good trades that would have better chances of success.
3243  Economy / Speculation / Re: If South Korea Crack Bitcoin what is the future of bitcoin on: December 29, 2017, 06:58:44 PM
I don’t know what you mean by “crack down bitcoin” but the only recent news was that the government wanted to identify the users of exchanges:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2657079

In theory they would have powers to shut down exchanges not complying with regulations, but it is unlikely this would happen. This could have had some influence in recent bear market but not much as what happens when one country regulating bitcoins has happened before and it’s never had any major long-term influence in the price.

What does "crack down" even mean. If you mean putting some regulations and standards on how it is used, then I can say that it is not a crack down at all. Many other money making industries have survived even though regulations were put on them, what I am saying here is that even if some rules may be imposed, since more people are actually in support of it right now, it would find a way to adjust and make the negative effects of the regulations. Also, in a way, that would be a good way to safeguard users because people are at risk of being some being taken advantage of.
3244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: December 29, 2017, 06:43:28 PM
airdrops have there use.. unfortunate scammer to advantage of it and gave airdrops a bad name

if a legitimate project doesn't want to deal with legal issue right away an ICO might not be best.. by airdropping they coins the can avoid legal issues in most countries.... also by the team keeping some of the coins it make them work for their money.. some of the bigger successes with come from airdrops.. you will see this soon...

but comes good is bad... alot of airdrops are being use as a marketing tool to get people to buy more.. and when you buy more the team dumps all their coins then disappears... thats when you need to use your judgement on which airdrops are good and bad.. but just because a coin was airdropped doesn't mean its bad.. if the project is solid and continuing to move forward.. then it might be the best thing you ran into

ill give you a few hints on very good projects that were airdropped.. but please research yourself

ELIX

Accelerator Network

I agree with this one very much. Even if airdrops are useful in its own right for being a free means to earn coins and token, it has been given a bad color because of the numerous scamming and thievery that most bad people do as they get the wallet information of those unknowing people who wants to get something for free. That is why most people don't see airdrops are profitable anymore because less and less people are becoming negative about it that resulted to less people wanting to enroll in it.
3245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple will increase the Circulating Supply!! on: December 29, 2017, 06:13:47 PM
Ripple will increase the Circulating Supply. Maybe tomorrow or in half a year. Who knows.

But the result would be if they increase the Circulating Supply from 38% maybe to 76% the price will fall to 50%.

Ripple is a good altcoin...
And for supply, i think that is will be increase after week 1 Jan 2018

I agree. I think Ripple is one of those strong and reliable coins around the market. It may not be as strong as Eth, but it is in that rank as coins like Waves, LTC, and others that are more reliable to invest on rather than gunning for new ones that has not proven their worth just yet. By doing this, it also gives hope to altcoin holders that some developers may follow in making their altcoins increase in value despite the negativity surrounding altcoins at the moment.
3246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends? on: December 29, 2017, 05:58:50 PM
Some people like the Brazil Central Bank Chief called Bitcoin a Bubble & Pyramid Scheme, how can the bitcoin industry prove this wrong and make sure bitcoin never ends but grows bigger?

To be honest, no one in this world can do anything to assure you that bitcoin or the whole cryoto world will never ever end. That's just how it is.

Bitcoin does not need to prove anything that it has already proven. Let them talk and talk about all sorts of bullshit asich as they want. They will be the ones stressed out while we, the crypto people enjoy the perks of being in the crypto world laughing at their insecured and jealous faces.

So don't be so worried about them. They don't matter. What matters is what we do.

That's true, but I think the best aspect that would help bitcoin last for a long time is if more and more people would accept, or better yet, embrace bitcoin in all its glory. The cryptocurrency fever has spread like wildfire around the world, and the best fuel for that is more attention from people around the world. The more people supporting it, the better acceptance and patronage it will get, and the more government and business entities would explore it as an option for payment as bitcoin is a a currency. It can also be an investment medium similar to stocks. The more people see its advantages the better for its longevity.
3247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why has everybody here in this forum its own shitcoin on: December 29, 2017, 05:43:27 PM
If a ask here something in this forum, I get only answers from members with their own shitcoin. Shitcasino V3.0, ShitGameCoin v2.0, etc.

Why are there so many shitcoins in this market?

Where are the normal bitcointalk members? Gone?

This is a forum where people are getting arguments about which is which, the only person who can identify which coin to choose is you,and yourself. There are many shitcoins because there are no ICO regulatory board existing at this moment.

I think it is because many people here earn tokens and coins through ICOs. On that note, ICOs are starting up businesses that develops their own tokens and coins which are in need of people who wants to fund or invest in them. Having said, the rewards or payment they give for project joiners are tokens in their businesses, which would help not only saturate the market with their coins but introduce such coins in the market for people to start trading. However, not all coins and tokens prosper, thus result in people holding onto so many shitcoins that don't sell.
3248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why media against bitcoin ? on: December 29, 2017, 05:28:43 PM
when ever I found any news about bitcoin it is negative news , i am confused why traditional mass media always against bitcoin ?

Because drama sells newspapers...or clicks on a website. This is also the natural progression of human acceptance of a new technology. First people criticize it as a fad, then they say "well I would never need that", then they start to get curious, then they realize the want it, and finally they realize the need it.

We're in the "well I would never need that" phase with a few people starting to get curious.

Bitcoin's been making its epic run all year long. The mainstream media didn't care until August. And when they were reporting in August the news was all about "epic run, it's a fad, it's a bubble, bitcoin fans are foolish!" Now, in December, we're starting to see more articles about the future, the value, and the staying power of Bitcoin.

It's been fun to watch! Don't worry about the mainstream media...worry about your own personal comfort level with Bitcoin.

I think its either yellow journalism or black propaganda. Since many people have shown pessimism and somewhat a negative idea about bitcoin. Any media entity would capitalize on that and support such idea because it's what people want to see. Unfortunately, even the governments of many countries have shown and warned people about how dangerous and the risks the bitcoin market could have, which further validated what the media has spread about bitcoin. I think that's one factor why many people still has a problem with regards to accepting bitcoin fully.
3249  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies make physical money disappear? on: December 29, 2017, 05:06:49 PM
As we can see the cryptocurrencies are still being established in the knowledge, socialization and full utilization of humanity, could the cryptocurrencies cause the use of physical money to be eliminated, is this possible?
There is very less possibility of this happening in the first place. Because,
1) We are already using the current physical money in the form of digital linking, using credit/debit cards, Internet banking, Mobile Banking etc. So you see we have already achieved some great milestone in the traditional financial system.

2) Also, There is no use of the crypto currency in real world because it is not much stable as compared to the fiat currencies. The stability is really important for the day to day life use. So these are valid reasons for which I don't think that crypto's will replace the fait so soon.

I agree. Good points. I think better than phasing out paper money, I see bitcoin as working or inter-playing with paper money in the global market system. That is more possible because fiat has become such an established aspect of the trade and market system. Many people is still more comfortable with using money because it's backed by the government, and to the masses, it is more reliable and safer to deal with.
3250  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: December 29, 2017, 04:37:05 PM
What do you think a about it? is it good or bad for bitcoin?

Well I think the rising of community of bitcoin has a good impact to the bitcoin itself. Of course its like also the principle of product distribution as the consumer needs gets high its price or value also gets higher. So on my own opinion a rising of bitcoin community will be good not for the bitcoin also but for the user and trader.

I think it is good. For the sake of bitcoin to be embraced by more and more people and be fully accepted by the world. It should have a steady and continued rise that would propel it to greater heights. I think that is one key factor that would introduce bitcoin not only to those interested, but also, to anyone that may have interest but doesn't have the resource to try it.
3251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2017, 02:55:22 PM
I hope oneday someone send thousands bitcoin to wrong address. And the wrong address is mine. Just simply dream like that. And i will giving away 100btc in this forum  Cool

Wow, that would be the jackpot if that happens. I mean, imagine getting some big amount of bitcoin for basically free and without having to work at all. That would be a dream come true for anyone, and especially, for me. However, on a more personal note, I have never actually dreamt about bitcoin before because I am the type to not count the eggs when there is no chicken to begin with. I have accepted long ago that bitcoin is volatile, and everything about it is unsure.
3252  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: December 29, 2017, 02:40:40 PM
At first I didn't agree with having death penalty. But when you watch the news and see all those fucked up things people do without remorse, most likely you would want them dead too, especially if you're connected to the victims. The only problem is false accusations. Lets say they hang a killer because of manslaughter and after a week later they realized that he wasn't the real killer, well shit. You cant bring the life of that man back. as opposed to just jailing them.

I will say it depends, and I also would say that this is sort of a critical topic because it may touch one's personal, religious, social and life beliefs. Therefore, there is no correct answer, and it would only depend on what's principles. For myself, I would say that I agree, but depending on the what's being punished. Sad to say, but there are so many bad things that call for a stricter much harsher punishment which is done by repeat or habitual offenders. When someone's life is taken or permanently damaged, one should be punished equally because they can't bring back the life lost. Although I agree, it should be viewed very critically because it would also be a way to end one's life, which is equally important even that of a criminal's.
3253  Economy / Economics / Re: What coin do you believe will be next to bitcoin? on: December 29, 2017, 02:25:05 PM
As oart of the economy I want to ask

•What do you think is the next big thing? by means bitcoin is getting higher and people should now invest in like what they did before.

•What coin like bitcoin you should invest in? is it  bitcoingold? or the next coin that the developers will create

None of the existing ones. If there was a real "next bitcoin", im pretty sure we would already know and we would have the smart people noticing about it and buying it big time. But there is no such thing, only experiments that simply don't cut it.

If you factor in the pros and cons, Bitcoin remains the best project out there. For a coin to take Bitcoin's spot, you would need a complete, total new iteration of technology, and I predict this would take decades, if not 100+ years.

I agree. Bitcoin holds the vantage point or the top of the hill so to speak distinction against any other cryptocurrency around. I mean, some may have compared it to Eth, Waves, Ripple, Dash, and so many more; however, as you can see, the price and value of those tokens in comparison with bitcoin is so far apart that it can't really be considered as a "second or next bitcoin" per se. I think that if one coin would be really embraced and supported by so many people like bitcoin has experienced all through the years, then there can be something that could equal or more be of value than bitcoin, but right now, I don't see and consider any of them.
3254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOINS under $1 on: December 29, 2017, 01:56:33 PM
Which Altcoins are likely to pump in a month or two, and can give profit in short term? I am new and cant afford losing money.
So, you are looking for get rich over night scheme and you can't afford to lose money?  Grin
No one can tell you which one will be pumped, you probably missed nxt but you can try with that again, it was pumped to 13K satoshi and now it is 6K. Maybe that one, i don't know.

I agree. There is no easy way to something that can be useful and good. It all takes time. Although there are actually a lot of altcoins available in the market for less then one dollar right now, you should consider that dealing with altcoins right now is a risk because the negative effects that bitcoin has brought about across the market during its surge is still open and fresh to many altcoins. For most cryptocurrency users, the best and smart move right now is to hold onto their altcoins until they neutralize in value and regain the value they lost, which would actually make it more profitable and worthwhile.
3255  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is bitcoin dangerous ? on: December 29, 2017, 01:39:59 PM
Bitcoin is not dangerous. I think it needs a bit of time for governments. Perhaps in the near future, most countries will accept bitcoin payment. Bitcoin can improve the efficiency of payment, it is not inflationary, it is lower than the banking industry.
dangerous only for people who do not know about crytocurrency but still impose an investment because it will suffer a lot of losses if he carelessly without knowing the risks that will happen.

I think everything, even the most safest things in the world have their own dangers that you need to be cautious and watchful for. Bitcoin has been known to be volatile, and its value may change at any time. Therefore, the risk of losing whatever you've invested or traded for may be present any time, which means, when a person ventures in the bitcoin or cryptocurrency market in general, they should at least learn enough to be able to safeguard themselves against any of the risks and dangers that the bitcoin market may present.
3256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why did I lose on trade ?? on: December 29, 2017, 01:26:30 PM
Hello I don’t understand I bought for 4000 Eur one hour ago of Ethereum when it was going up, it stayed around the 10-20%, it started to decrease 5 minutes ago so I sold it and now cex.io just gave me 3500eur for it... wtf... Huh
The %came from me watching livecoinwatch.. Cex.io doesn’t have the accurate price ??

that means we are stuck in high prices should save and hold the ETH you have, until the price back and more than 50% of you buy do not be afraid it will be able to get there, and if you want to see the price of all coin and market available we can see at https://coinmarketcap.com.

I agree. I think right now, it's not good to trade or get rid of your altcoins even Eth because the negative effects of the recent bitcoin surge has bled many altcoins dry. Their values are not that high right now and their marketability is not that reliable. Many traders are using that chance to buy them low, and if you would panic and sell them off to mitigate your loses, then it would actually make things more worse for you because you can't get any return from selling them, especially if you got them for at a price that is close to the amount you're selling it for.
3257  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what is the definition of success? on: December 28, 2017, 02:59:57 PM
Being rich is jusr  a single percent of being successful..
For be achieving it is having your goals done..
Have a wonderful family in a happy home..
Savings for each member of the family..
Educational plan is not success too it is just part of it.. What sucess is having your child at the stage getting his/her diploma on his college graduation..
Success is not having yourself a well manage man but the whole part of your life

It depends on the person you ask. Nowadays, I think most people define success with the material things and assets they own like property, money, and other tangibles that are of value. You can't blame them because everything nowadays has a price, and as they say "Money is king." For some, however, it's more on the family aspect, like seeing their children grow well and enter a good school and have good lives. Some want to see themselves change for the better everyday becoming a better version of themselves every now and then. Whatever the definition of success a person has, I think the most important aspect there is the aspect of change, change that is for the betterment, whether in the material aspect, the family aspect or the personal aspect.
3258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to Hold these on: December 28, 2017, 02:30:31 PM
I have already Purchased  ETH,NXT,XRP,START. When BTC starts to go down and down, what happened to those coins ?

I think so, plus you have Eth on your list which is one of the stronger altcoins around, therefore, you are safe if you would invest in that. Maybe you can add Waves, Dash, and Litecoin on your list not because it's in mine, but because many other people actually believe and recommend those altcoins, especially for future investments. One thing to consider though is your goal in terms of holding on to those coins. If you want a long term one, then it can be anybody's game because market trends many changes over time. However, if you only want a short term thing, then you should choose one that is easier to market and to trade for a profit even if it's just small.
3259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dropping! what to expect?! on: December 28, 2017, 02:15:15 PM
Bitcoin is dropping! what to expect?!

https://www.bloomberg.com/…/bitcoin-drops-as-south-korea-sa…

I found this very interesting article on the web, check it out and let me know what you think Smiley

I think this is to be expected. I mean, nothing, even in the strongest markets would climb non-stop without any sight of stopping or slowing down at least. It happens even to the best assets. However, it can also be seen as an indicator of the good things that is waiting to happen for it. I mean, bitcoin has increased in value and marketability at such a rapid and seemingly soaring phase in just the past two months. That shows that it's really beginning to become a big market player globally which would help to promote it more with people and basically would increase its value and transactions.
3260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins to Watch in 2018 on: December 28, 2017, 01:30:04 PM
2018 is going to be a deciding year for altcoins. Either the government around the world would be hostile over it or will accept it in one form or other.
Whatever may happen, it would probably lead to a sharp rise in price.

I agree. 2018 is critical for altcoins because many say that bitcoin will continue its surge even if it is in a stand still right now. We all know how the surge affected so many altcoins across the market, and it's not that good. However, if you are seeking for altcoins to watch for, I think you should stick or invest with the more reliable ones like Waves, Eth, Litecoins, and Dash because they are the ones that were able to stand their grounds during the surge. While many other altcoins have died, those above-mentioned have endured, which is a testament of how reliable they can be.
