2521  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Bitcoin is still down? on: February 03, 2019, 11:53:33 AM
what is the another ways to lifted up the Value of bitcoins in the market?

To lift up the market, there must be a huge demand. More people should be buying bitcoin for the market price to go up. The market will slowly crawl up as time goes by, just be patient.
2522  Economy / Economics / Re: Should there be a tax on capital gains? on: January 29, 2019, 09:30:36 PM
According to my opinion, I think It's income and should be taxed. There should be a tax on capital gains because it's income and the current law is that people pay taxes on their income. If we want to debate or reform that policy, perhaps we should, but then it should be targeted at all kinds of income taxes, not just capital gains taxes. Getting rid of capital gains taxes by themselves is simply a way to cut taxes on the rich, because the rich make more money through capital gains than poor people do.

What is your thought on this matter?

Well, that's one of the reasons why people choose to invest in crypto to get away from taxes. However, I heard that in some countries they are being taxed from their income from cryptocurrency. It is not yet fully implemented world-wide, but I guess as crypto gets adapted by the mass, the government will start taxing it too.
2523  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: January 29, 2019, 09:14:46 PM
What do you think, how many people are ready to sell their goods or services on crypto? Let's say that we have service which help quick and easy to build online store and sell for cryptocurrency. What kind of reasons can motivate people to start a crypto business?

I think it takes a lot of effort and money to integrate money into a small business, especially, if they are going to make their own coin. They need an expert to help them with their system and contract and they need to rework their business model to fit with the new payment system. This can be attainable in the future.
2524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warnings for token hodlers on: January 29, 2019, 08:55:37 PM
We are in the final quarter of the year
Everyone should be at alert now, lots of projects will suddenly collapse, pump and dump, with plans to collect people's btc and ethereum and cash out money for the end of the year
Then they will run away and get away with funds.....

A word is enough for the wise

Panicking will only cause the market to crash more. There's no reason to sell your altcoins if you will be losing your money. It would be wise to buy the dip just to average the cost of your investment. Enjoy the market crash and don't panic, once the market starts picking up again, patience will pay off.
2525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: January 29, 2019, 07:42:59 PM
You can try to avoid mistakes, but never be afraid of making one and neither should you be afraid of failure.
The fear of what will happen might be a limitation.
Cryptocurrency sometimes can be very complex and funny, most especially when you find yourself in a situation you have never been exposed to.
When the market is all good, mistakes are not easily detected, but when the situation of the market seems to be on a negative side, then fear sets in and sometimes, we become afraid of what may likely happen if we take a step further, to do what we have never been exposed to.
Even if you eventually fail, it is a stepping stone to become become better and achieving greater success.

It's normal to make mistakes when you are investing or trading in crypto. These mistakes will give you a lot of lessons worth learning for you to grow and be more educated in cryptocurrency. It's unavoidable because the market is really difficult to speculate. Do not be too depressed or stressed about it, take it as an opportunity to learn and grow.
2526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your expectations for this year? on: January 29, 2019, 06:21:59 PM
The year seems to be filled with uncertainties, looking at the rate at which the market is moving.
What are you expectations before the end of this year?
Will there still be some positive changes, despite the present situations of the market?

Honestly, I am not expecting something big on crypto this year. Maybe it will take a while before the market starts another bull-run. Let's hope there will be a lot of changes and development on cryptocurrency and there will be lesser scam ICOs so that investors will not lose hope on investing in good projects.
2527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ? on: January 29, 2019, 03:40:42 PM
WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ?

In my own opinion, it is quite impossible for any altcoin to replace bitcoin as the top cryptocurrency. Since the beginning, bitcoin had been the main currency and it is widely used by people. Most of them are using it to send money around the world, to invest, or to trade. Bitcoin had brought a lot of money to a lot of people, that is why a lot of people trust and support bitcoin no matter what happens.
2528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Should I Expect The Next Bull Run? on: January 26, 2019, 01:22:03 PM
I got into Crypto July 2017 , as newbie i was much afraid so i never took the risk so 2017 bull run pass over me .. 2018 the expectation was really high  so i took the risk but things fall apart .. I invested $5000 in Altcoins last year but right its  worth  less than $400 ..  I know one  day there is going to be another bull  run .. Should i expect the bull run this year or i should  expect it in three years time  !!

Well, if you will look at the history of bitcoin and altcoin price, it might take years before another bull-run starts. Do not expect too much from cryptocurrency since the price is really volatile. Instead for waiting for another bull-market, utilize the market wisely. You can make up with your losses by day trading.
2529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I buy bitcoin or litecoin? on: January 26, 2019, 12:14:51 PM
Based on what is currently happening what do you think I'm better doing, I have about $150 to spend

Buying bitcoin or litecoin?

Thanks

Diversify your portfolio if you don't know which to buy. I believe both of your choices are good and coins with potential. So, whenever you are investing, do not put all your money in  just a single investment. Always diversify your investment, to make sure that you can secure your investment.
2530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bullrun comes on: January 26, 2019, 12:00:47 PM
Ive come in contact with few newbies that are confused about which coins to invest in ,well this is for you, be cautious and stay away from coins that have nothing to offer ,I meant if there is no reason creating that coin its mess, but all the same when bull run comes its win win for everybody ,yes everybody, unless dead coins ,even coins that are lower than 1sat goes over 30sat at last bullrun  even crappy projects became profitable ,I have a family friend that all his highest profits canes from the shit coins ,so worryless bullrun won't come anything soon but it will.

Even shitcoins benefit during the bull-market, of course, dead coins are exempted. It still depends on what shitcoin are we talking about. Some shitcoin are pumped due to P and D groups, that is why it doesn't die. Some shitcoins even grow up to 100% of it's current value.
2531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO investment still worth it? on: January 22, 2019, 08:41:17 PM
For the past two months almost all the ICOs i have invested when they get listed on exchange, they are reduced by about 300% of the price i bought it. Those who buy after the ICO tend to gain more profit than we the early adopters. Now am confused whether i should continue with ICO investments or stop. Guys what do you think

It can still be worth it depending on your aim, if you are investing to really support a project and believe in it's long-term potential, the price will not bother you. However, if you are the kind of  investor who invests for quick profit, it is better if you will buy an altcoin on exchange rather than in ICOs, because they are cheaper in exchange.
2532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!! on: January 22, 2019, 07:44:20 PM
Since I joined the cryptocurrency world and even this forum I have seen something that people always do that I think its not the right way. People always compaire ETH with BTC telling us that ETH is the best cryptocurrency. I really doubt that because looking at these two coins, although they are all blockchain based currencies but to me BTC is doing far better than ETH. BTC was created before ETH but look at the performances and judge it yourself. I really do not want to talk much about this issue. Guys what do think about what I am arguing about?

There's no point comparing both since even though they are both blockchain based currencies, they are of different block chains and different usage and purpose. Bitcoin is used widely as a currency or used a medium of exchange, or a way of remittance for some people. On the other hand, ethereum is used for ICOs where developers can raise funds and create contracts.
2533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be your coins for 2019? on: January 22, 2019, 06:40:14 PM
Hit me what new coins will you buy and take a chance in 2019?
Coin for me is TIX. New website and new ambassadors so I go with TIX. What about you guys?

Honestly, there are few new coins that survived the bear-market that shows good potential in the future. However, to be safe, I would still stick with the altcoins that are already on the top of the market cap since those coins are those who are greatly affected when the bull-market starts.
2534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience: The key factor to succeeding in the crypto space on: January 22, 2019, 06:02:08 PM
A lot of folks do not understand what it means to the patient, most especially when it comes to cryptocurrency. Crypto is not a ponzi, where you just come in with the mindset of rushing out. Which is why many fall victim of scam projects and shit coins.
When you want to invest into any project, no matter how attractive it might look superficially, take your time to study it. Know the intent of the project and the team behind it.
Whatever you do not understand about a project, ask on their social media. Most times, telegram is used as a channel for open communication. So ask questions until you are satisfied.
Therefore, patience is key, because every other factor (intelligence, smartness, astuteness, experience, name it) will look useless if not taken into cognisance.
Thanks.

I actually think that patience is one of factors that would lead to success in crypto. However, perfect timing with regards to investment and cashing out your money will lead you to better profits than just waiting for the dip and peak of the prices.
2535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding Coins and Tokens... on: January 22, 2019, 12:46:06 AM
Until when you gonna hold your coins and tokens?
Will you dump it if it is pumping in the market?

It all depends, not all coins/ tokens make it to the market. I have a lot of coins from my previous bounties and airdrops that have no value at all. Only few of them are worth  holding. Some of my bounties were sold once they had good value in the market. I think if you have no financial capability, holding for too long is not really advisable.
2536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do now on: January 22, 2019, 12:32:03 AM
Some people say hold your crypto,  some says sell immediately that holding for long is useless.
What do you believe and practice?

It depends on your belief in cryptocurrency and what cryptocurrency are you holding. If you think it has a long-term potential and you have the financial capability to hold it, then do so. However, if you think it will not survive in the long-run, then you better sell it if you think it's worth it to sell early. No one can tell you which to hold or not, it's all up to you, since it is your money.
2537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Survive on: January 22, 2019, 12:15:50 AM
In this bearish market, it’s difficult to make profits without thorough research
And almost every portfolio is negative

All I can tell is don’t dump out of fear
Survivor this period and join in packing the dips

Be greedy when others are fearful

Some day traders are still earning during the bear. This is risky, however, if you are patient and doing your homework properly when trading, you can surely earn money during the bear-market. If you will continue to fear, you might lose some opportunities to earn.
2538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pump after dump? on: January 19, 2019, 04:15:44 PM
After the downfall before few days, BTC is pumping and it is good to see, similarly other Alts too following it. I believe we are slowly going forward to see a good value in couple of days.

The market is unpredictable, so the logic that there's a pump after dump is not really guaranteed. The market can stay stable, or have a continuous dump or can also be pumped at anytime in no sequence. It all depends on the market demand, market activity, and whales market activity.
2539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy on ICO or buy after being exchanged? on: January 19, 2019, 03:58:05 PM
I see and observe recently that many ICOs are below the ICO price when they touch the exchange. Do you think it's a smart step to wait for an exchange and buy the tokens you want?

Some investors or traders prefer to buy an altcoin after being listed in an exchange, it is simply because most altcoin gets dumped. Hence, the price on the exchange is sometimes cheaper than the ICO price. It takes sometime for some ICOs to reach their ICO price once it gets listed. That's why some choose to buy on exchange rather than during ICOs.
2540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid ICO scam. on: January 14, 2019, 05:06:10 PM
Apparently, ICO investors continue to fall prey to innumerable ICO scam. The effect of this is very devastating on investors perception of crypto-project ICOs.
While it appears there is no apparent solution to address the current scam associated with ICO in the crypto space. I propose that we help each other in finding out the best ways to identify and separate genuine ICO from fake ones....
Share your view and help a friend from falling prey to ICO scam. Let help build a healthy crypto environment. Fight the scam now.

Before investing in any ICOs, an investor should protect itself by reviewing everything about the project: the whitepaper, development team, project site, etc. That way you can eliminate some risks of getting scammed. However, take note that there are projects out there that seems legit.
