2661  Economy / Economics / Re: Starbucks drops hint at plans to accept Bitcoin on: August 28, 2018, 02:40:07 PM
That is true and it will push other competitors to make Bitcoin as a mode of payment. I think what the cryprocurrency market needs to be made as a payment method is backing to one of the established chain in the market and yes if Starbucks plays it correctly they will be the first ones to advertise cryptocurrency in the mainstream market.

That's is a great news if that will happen, especially if it will take place in the very near future. I say that because Starbucks is one of those big market businesses that are scattered all over the globe. Also, many people really support their products. And so, if it will begin to accept Bitcoin, then it will be a good marketing and advertising change for Bitcoin to be known by all the people who are not informed yet of the cryptocurrency market who patronizes Starbucks. That would really be a big boost for the market to keep on growing, and for sure, other business companies will follow suit, if it becomes a success.
2662  Economy / Speculation / Re: The value of Bitcoin is rising again? on: August 28, 2018, 02:29:11 PM
The value of Bitcoin is rising again, can we expect a significant jump in Bitcoin value by the end of the year?

Following the trend, I think that Bitcoin will rise back up in value in the last quarter of this year, just like what happened in the previous years. If you have been a real follower of the movements that Bitcoin have shown in the recent years, then you would believe and know that despite the many dips Bitcoin has been showing as of late. It always has the capacity to rise back up and gain what it lost. And even if it won't, Bitcoin, especially these days has always been filled with good movements, it has it's lows, but it also has its gains.
2663  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive in a bear market and cut out losses on: August 28, 2018, 01:47:23 PM
I think it depends on the mentality and immediate needs of that particular investor. However, in my opinion, the best strategy is not to be too jumpy and if possible rely on long term HODL.

I agree. The mentality and readiness of a person plays a lot in how his investments would move out, especially in times of losses, or in those moments when the market is not doing good, which in these days, has been becoming quite common. Therefore, I think one should really be patient and know what are the proper strategies to make sure that an investment would not go down south. It's easy to be blinded these days and go down the easy path to avoid losses; however, at the end of the days, all those strategies won't really be a good thing to do because it would not amount to anything good.
2664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: August 28, 2018, 01:02:12 PM
I wish I was joking but this market will take at least 2 years to recover and build momentum again.
Market fundamentals have changed!

Well, at this point, no one knows and can surely say how much time the market would need before it can recover, and also, the term "recover" is such a term these days that have many considerations and meanings so-to-speak, to some people profiting from the market is just enough to say that the market has already recover. For some, though, the market and its assets should first recuperate from its status now and go green because that recovery stage could be considered. As for me, even if it takes a year or two years, like the premise states, I am willing to wait since I want to see this market prosper no matter how much time it would take.
2665  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: August 28, 2018, 12:50:26 PM
With cryptocurrency, you have to be careful with any fraud and theft. and usually many people who are caught in the losses in the world of crypto is:
1. Not Backup Key
2. Electricity Billing Mining More
3. Lunes In Phishing Sites
4. Buy Coin With Rumors
5. Create a weak password
6. Steal With Stealth ICO

With cryptocurrency, no bank or other institution or regulation will protect you in the event of a loss.

Good List but you missed the main one, it is GREED! That is one factor which makes us poor while investing in cryptos. I know a lot of people who had bought bitcoin during late 2017 and proudly announced that move in facebook with a lot of hashtags. All of them are in loss today. SOme of them even used their credit card to purchase bitcoin hoping to make astronomical profit to cover the credit card interest fees and enjoy with the rest of the money.

GREED is one factor that drives us towards unrealistic profit making businesses. If greed is the factor that drives your instinct, you are pretty much doomed before you even start.

I agree very much with the "Greed" aspect. Many people lose their minds, and most importantly, their money because they want to earn so much more, due to that greedy intent, they forget to see the holes that makes an investment a bad one, or they also forget to study the background of the investments they follow, and so, in turn, it makes them lose their investments and get nothing in return. In the cryptocurrency market, everything should be well-planned to at least make sure that investments would find success.
2666  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do with scammers on: August 28, 2018, 12:40:27 PM
I saw 70-80% ico are scam which are not reliable .they do smart work and making projects by invester and advisers and after not giving token ,making scami .what to do with them. Have you ever fallen in scams ? I am fallen some time .

For me, as a long time ICO joiner, I wouldn't say that they are scams. It's just that many ICOs these days are not doing well in terms of having a niche in the market. As you can see, there are hundreds if not thousands of projects competing in the market day in and day out, and so, it's just too hard to find those gem of a projects that could make it big, and since most of these projects are looking for crowd-funding, it's very hard for them to reach it, thus, giving them no other option but to close down.
2667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy ETH or not? on: August 28, 2018, 12:28:16 PM
Today i am decided to that i want to buy some ETH but in this bear market i have get panicked because ETH is continuously dying. So what should i do now? Can i invest in ETH or not? Please give me some suggestion.

I would say it is a good time to buy now because it has been steadily getting some good movement. Its value has been going up and down lately, but the good side about it is that it is steadily increasing little by little. Therefore, if you would buy now while the value is not that much yet, you can get some good returns because it is already on the track of increasing its value and reaching the point where it left of. Also, I think that given the status of most coins in the market, Ethereum is still one of the best coin around, considerably.
2668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the best decision on: August 24, 2018, 06:53:31 PM
I think hodling to the end wouldn’t hurt you in any form
It’s by far the best chance you have got and you need to stand by it

Also do not panic, and Get Strong
It’s gonna be a better market soon

That's right. Holding is a good move, especially in this market because it helps you mitigate any losses and makes sure that you don't sell of your coins for next to nothing. You see, in the cryptocurrency market, it's always a good thing to see things through very carefully to make sure that you won't end up hurting your investment. By means of holding, especially during the market is down, it helps you, at least, make sure that nothing bad would happen to your coins, and you would still have it come the time when it goes up in value, which would present as the best time to hold it.
2669  Economy / Economics / Re: Investors continue to invest in crypto-currency on: August 24, 2018, 05:48:10 PM
Yes. Because cryptos are new and have brought forward the revolutionary idea of digital, cashless society which is not bound by the rules and regulations of the government forward. Also, due to the coins highly volatile nature, they are great investment assets and can help earn good profits in a short period of time.
Also, the coin allows transactions to be made throughout the world without any hazzle and also the transactions are secure and identity of the sender and receiver are kept private.

I agree. Not only that, despite being a juvenile market, so-to-speak, it has its fair share of ups and downs that would make it a good market to be in. Not every market is perfect, and the cryptocurrency market, like all other ones, are just like that; however, what makes it a good one is that it keeps on coming back despite taking big hits from current trends and market changes. Also, the support it commands from the community from all over the world is a good enough sign that it is one reliable market that has a good future ahead of it.
2670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: August 24, 2018, 05:32:10 PM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

I think that's already happening mate, and in fact, many banks have been seriously considering adding up cryptocurrencies in their roster in terms of assets that they accept besides the traditional currencies we have today. We should always consider that banks are business institutions that wants to gain money and enter into good investments and business to further their goals of improving their holdings. Therefore, if they see a market that is, in all its aspects, a good and legitimate moneymaker, then I am sure that they would venture into adjusting their systems to cater it.
2671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be discouraged! Keep holding. on: August 24, 2018, 04:55:45 PM
I bought bitcoin when it was around $14,500 in January and I am still holding because I am not discouraged.  I have great hope that bitcoin is going to increase in price and volume in some years to come.

That's right. If you are a true supported of cryptocurrencies and you follow the trends that affects cryptocurrencies, then you know that even if it is experiencing lots of downs and dips lately, it would still rise back up and surge in value after a few months or so. In fact, currently, Bitcoin and other coins like Ethereum have been steadily gaining some value, which shows that it's on the uptrend right now. Therefore, if you have coins that are not doing good right now, don't panic and just sell them off.
2672  Economy / Economics / Re: Increasing number of celebrities endorsing cryptocurrency on: August 22, 2018, 10:44:43 AM
Its gonna be more interesting, if a lot of celebrities will join in crypto by endorsing it,  it will notice by other people who doesnt intersted in crypto.. maybe this could be a good thing, they will easy to accept it, because they see now that more celebrities has joining into it..

I agree. Celebrities give a lot of convincing and mind-changing aspects that people follow, and so, if more and more of them would continue to endorse cryptocurrencies, especially those big-named ones, then it could really be a game changers for the market because it can surely entice more people to be in the market and to try their hands in it. Also, the effect of celebrities is somewhat global because the people who support them wholeheartedly covers the globe.
2673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I learn to be a professional trader? on: August 22, 2018, 10:10:41 AM
I want to learn about being professional trader. I want to search and read some articles but I don't know whatelse.
What I read so far is about how to read candlestick. And I learn how to read indicator but I just learn it by myself.
So what articles to read? If you have some suggestion, please share here. I don't ask for the articles to read, I just ask for some clue what to learn

I think you learn to be a "professional" trader by experience and by gaining lots of knowledge and know-how on how the trading market works. Reading on reliable sources, watching videos from seasoned traders, and following some market statistics would all be useful means to widen your knowledge that could help a person speed up the process in being more versed with the trade market. By knowing what coins to follow and making trades and investments that would have higher chances of success are, I think, some indicators that you are gaining useful insight on the ventures that is worth following through.
2674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: August 21, 2018, 09:52:37 AM

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and i don't think anyone's opinion should trigger important decisions as selling out  coins you invested in, instead research and make your own decisions on whether its time to sell. if at all are all shit then who's gonna buy even if we sell. just chose your coins wisely, some of them has potential.

That's democracy for you, I guess. I think that one's opinions depends on their own experiences and how the market has been to them. So, those who have good experiences and have gained significant gains and advantages from the market would say that bitcoins, or altcoins of that matter are not scams, on the other hand, those who have bad experiences, and most certainly, those who lost a big amount of money, would be on the negative. Therefore, I would not believe those comments immediately because they can be subjective at best. I think that although many of the altcoins are dwindling in value, there are still some like Ethereum that has improved and gained considerable popularity in the market due to its good standing.
2675  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market? on: August 21, 2018, 09:43:08 AM
Everyone should definitely diversify their portfolio. Spreading money across different coins don't count because they mostly move in unison. Those who play with ICOs or small market cap coins are likely traders looking to multiply their money rather than invest.

That being said, this is a Bitcoin forum, so people are more likely to talk about their crypto investments over their traditional investments. I'm sure most people who have enough resources to maintain a diverse portfolio do so. Those who don't should mostly fall under the umbrella of people who are only working with a small amount of money or hardcore anti-institutionalists.

I should also note that crypto has an incredibly low barrier of entry, so it's accessible to more people. That could also be the reason why, assuming your observation were true.

Just like everybody in this market who are continuously believing, I think that many invest in the cryptocurrency market and is steadily improving the coins they are holding due to the fact that they see that the market is a legitimate one that can bring in a hefty amount of return in due time. Although, currently, it is not yet in that state where it could really be reliable, I think that many foresee that after a couple of years, cryptocurrencies would have that same status comparable to the stock market and other investment-based businesses. As more and more people are convinced that the market is a good and real one, it would ensure the stability that it needs to keep on growing.
2676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: August 21, 2018, 09:32:36 AM
I think bitcoin could be a digital gold. Although i know the perspective you are coming from but also remember that real gold is not digital but bitcoin is, so within the "Cryptotic" world bitcoin could be digital gold.

I agree. It has the capability and features to be considered as such, however, currently, I think that Bitcoin has a long way to go before such status can be achieved. Although it has been present for a good decade now, to me, and to many people, it can still be considered as a juvenile currency and asset, and so, since it lacks that stability aspect, it still has a long way to go before it can be coined as digital gold. Upon comparison, we all know that gold is one of those ever-enduring assets that doesn't get affect by market changes that much. Its value has been carved in stone, and the trust people have in it as an asset is also second to none. Once Bitcoin achieves those status, then it can be considered for such title.
2677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many bounty campaign are extending? on: August 20, 2018, 02:36:03 PM
Due to lot of scammed ICO more investors lost their interest investing in ICO. Success rate of ICO decreased that is why bounty campaign period nowadays are extending. Do you agree?

As we all know, ICOs are crowdfunded projects, and so, they are hoping and aiming to meet a quota of investment to help their projects push through, they do it by the amount of asset or capital they get from people who are willing to risk it and invest; however, since the market is not doing good right now, and many want to hold rather than gamble, it's getting harder and harder for them to meet such investment quota, and so, they don't have a choice but to extend, hoping that time can be the factor that could gather up more investors for them. Unfortunately, many projects would soon find out that that won't do no good, since more people are trying to strategize by holding on to their money.
2678  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: August 20, 2018, 02:24:44 PM
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.

I don't think so. I think that instead of replacing fiat, I would more foresee cryptocurrencies being in the same level playing ground as fiat. I say that because fiat has more experience and history under its belt, and so, many people, especially in their own localities and countries would trust to deal with them more even in the near future. Although cryptocurrencies have been gaining its must needed support, fiat would still be the traditional and more well-received between the two. So, instead of cryptocurrencies eating up fiat out of existence, it's better to see them compete.
2679  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Bear may be good for us on: August 20, 2018, 01:31:20 PM

We are in a bear market, (granted, it's easing up a bit), but it's a huge dip, since we had the $20,000 ATH hit sometime in December 2017. So here are the Silver linings in the dark clouds..
More FUD resistance. Well consider this just like a vaccination. We all have that Fever that follows vaccines. But the good thing is it shoots up our resistance, our nerve. To handle bad news
Okay, at least with passing time, we are seeing less of useless forks. Why? I truly believe by next bull run, most useless forks will fail to gain use and market shares and would eventually drop off, and original ideas will dominate
No more shitcoin.  Coins like bitcoin gold, diamond, platinum, sapphire, ruby etc etc. If this market continues for a 1 more month, we would be rid of shitcoins.
No more moon-heads. This particular issue can really rankle me up. You won't read 2 posts without a 'when moon' or 'when lambo' post popping up somehow. Especially in Telegram threads
Mass adoption. Technology will advance. I With tech advance we will see adoption rates going up. Technology like Ripple, Nano would get some look-ins
The real HODLers would be shown. And this would show peeps that really believe in projects. Not just 'get-rich-quick' guys

I think the greatest good that I can appreciate from the Bear market is that many coins become ripe enough to be bought and to be invested upon. As more and more coins are decreasing in prices, this gives the true-blue investors, especially those seeking for long-term investments, to buy some good coins to be held and to be disposed for profit after some times. I know that it's too difficult to have a hopeful view that despite everything crumbling that it will soon rise back up, but that's how the cryptocurrency market is. If you are a real investor, you really have to keep your faith.
