2641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies will make you rich overnight? on: September 06, 2018, 06:23:12 AM
One investor says it's the only investment opportunity where a poor person can leverage skill and luck, and literally become a millionaire. So, do you think crypto can make us rich overnight?

Well, cryptocurrency investments have that capacity, but at the moment, I don't think it can really make a person rich overnight. Maybe if I saw this idea back then, I would believe that the possibility is high because the number of successful projects and because of the wide array of departments in the cryptocurrency market that are showing good investment outcomes give that aura that it's possible. However, right now, since the market is not doing good, every amount of profit one can get should really be planned out and is basically clawed bit by bit. In that regard, although returns are still possible, the ease of getting it is not as easy as before.
2642  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Fiat - this is how I see the future on: September 06, 2018, 06:12:49 AM
At a time where I see currencies moving away from cash to digital I think the reason is partly so that governments can control the flow of their currency more particularly for laundering. They can possibly gain more taxation from a cashless currency because cash cannot be fully traced. If i sell my car for cash to another individual the government dont get any revenue from that because it is not traceable.

So in a governments aim to control our money it will leave a big opening for bitcoin and other decentralised crypto to exist along with fiat and will allow people to "trade" anonymously with each other over a completely independent infrastructure.

I have mentioned this in similar threads, and most of my replies pertain to a future where cryptocurrencies and fiat will be able to somehow co-exist in the currency playing field instead of having one, usually cryptocurrency, eating the other one out until it dies. I say that because fiat, especially the strong and more established ones, would not be that easy to kill, and so, it would be better and healthier for the market to actually have more assets to choose from and competing because having healthy competition gives vibrancy the business sectors always need.
2643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How is trading *not* gambling? on: September 05, 2018, 11:14:57 AM
Trading is not gambling because gambling is a game for entertainment and trading is business and investment..
Trading is a good choice to invest and it needs to study in order to make a good profit.. that is why people are losing in trading because they are deciding a wrong decision.. investing in altcoin is very risky.. much better to trade with bitcoin every time the price is increase set your own margin..
try this site for analysis https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitstamp/btcusd
If you can see the right side you can see wall for buy and sell.. and the movement of trading is fast. not a movement of fluctuate..
much better to stay in bitcoin the more you invest the more you can make a good profit..

For me, I don't consider it gambling because of the fact that it is not solely based on change. There are preparatory works that one can do in order to do more successful trades and to find those deals that can be more successful as compared to gambling, which is something that one can't really prepare for. Maybe experience can be a guiding aspect for a gambler to win most nights, but then again, it is always based on chance, even the luckiest person has an off night. On the other hand, trading is not like that, you can prepared and check out the assets that you want to go after, which would not leave its success plainly onto chance.
2644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: September 05, 2018, 11:02:47 AM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

I would say it is, people just have to have enough knowledge and appreciation for it. If that happens, it can really change how the word uses digital currency and how people would be embracing the use of cryptocurrencies in different transactions. As we all know, despite cryptocurrency starting only as a digital currency or e-money so to speak, it has reached a point these days where it has already evolved into a profitable asset to hold, and that has really changed the game on how people used cryptocurrencies. So, if you're asking about readiness, I think it's already there, there just has to be some changes to make it more worthwhile to venture in.
2645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies? on: September 05, 2018, 10:51:56 AM
I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.

I would say that it's good. I say that because celebrities are often supported by people very dearly, and so, if they see that their favorite personalities whether they are form the show business, from sports or from social media, it can really be a big piece of the puzzle to convince more people to see cryptocurrency investments in a different light and that can really be a game changer for the cryptocurrency market to be embraced by the masses. As it becomes more and more popular and as it commands more support, it can really help the market breakthrough.
2646  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: September 05, 2018, 10:40:29 AM
This question is especially for those who have been into crypto for a long time. How did cryptocurrency help you, most specifically financially? Did you earn more? Gain more investment? I do have a friend who wants to get into crypto but he does not have a lot of savings in his bank account or any major investment. I told him to save more before getting into crypto because they still have mortgage and car loan to pay. Do you think crypto will help him out to?

For me, I gain extra income when I get lucky with my investments; however, unfortunately, it's not that easy to find projects now that is gainful. I am actually a bounty hunter, that has been my bread and butter in the cryptocurrency market since, and I have chanced upon some projects that have been successful, and the earnings I gained from those projects have really given me that much needed extra money for my needs, and also, I have used some of them as a return capital with my other cryptocurrency ventures.
2647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is the most important thing on: September 05, 2018, 10:28:47 AM
The Perfect definition to earn to in crypto, never ever say oh! i missed that creepy pump. i made same mistake twice and got myself in big trouble. after that i made a mind that i will never buy any Bull trend. i always invest when market is downtrend.,

Well, I think that downtrends and bad news are always around the cryptocurrency market these days, therefore, it would be best to really have a great amount of patience in order to make sure that your investments or holdings would gain something good in return, rather than just giving up on it only to regret it later, especially if it turns out to be a good investment. In this market, a true believer and a serious investor should always have patience because it's easy to give in to what is happening all over the market; however, if one would be objective and see things with a good plan, then it can help at least mitigate those negative things that might happen and still find success in it.
2648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scarcity doesn't always mean value on: September 04, 2018, 10:23:12 AM
For me I think scarcity play a good role in the value of any one, think about it, scarcity means people are reluctant to sell, they are hold their cons, and that will make the buyers to bid higher to attract the sellers to sell.

Well, although that can be true in some ways, I think that's it can't be used as a rule of thumb, especially when talking and dealing about this market. I mean, the cryptocurrency market is such an unusual kind of market that doesn't play by the normal rules and standards of similar markets, like the stock market for example. Therefore, even though it is normal to expect that when there is scarcity, and basically, the supply decreases, it helps increase the value as there is not enough to feed the demand. However, in this market, even if there is such a case, there are times that people themselves don't actually sell despite having low supply in the market, and that further hurts the value of the coins in the market.
2649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: September 04, 2018, 09:44:24 AM
So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

That's really a difficult and serious predicament to be in, and if I am in your shoes, I would say that I would first take a step back, and reassess how and why I failed in my investments. I should take note of the reasons why it happened, if there is any; the means and strategies I can do to get back what I have lost; and if I can't get it back anymore, what can I do in order to utilized what I have left to earn more than what I have lost. I think those are the questions and fields I would work on to at least make sure that the losses I have incurred won't happen again, if not, at least, I can minimize the chances of it happening again.
2650  Economy / Economics / Re: Government should implement blockchain technology to prevent corruption. on: September 04, 2018, 09:34:19 AM
Blockchain is a good technology that will be use as a tool of transparency to every transaction being done. The government should know and develop a system like this on their system. This will eradicate corruption or transactions being made under the table because there will be a transparency on every transactions and how much money is involve. The budget of the people will be obviously utilize to its intended purpose. Would you agree with this idea?

Well, maybe that can be the needed remedy for the corruption that is happening in many countries all over the world. However, you must also consider that these men who do it are pros in terms of finding ways to hide what they are doing. Therefore, even if cryptocurrency transactions have the features and characteristics to help in resolving corruption, it can always be adjusted and reworked in such a way that it can be used without in corrupt means without detection. We should remember that one of the features of cryptocurrency transactions is its privacy, and so, if that could be exploited, more so than helping stop corruption, it can help it grow even more.
2651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice for the new investor on: September 04, 2018, 09:24:00 AM
Buy with your spare money. Do not invest with loan. Wait for a year or two. Always buy, never sell. Bitcoin will be the leading coin for a long time and make you earn good money.

I agree. The cryptocurrency market is not doing good right now; however, despite that fact, it is still a good market to be in, and therefore, you should think of your actions towards investing very carefully so that you won't be regretful in the end. You really have to embrace the good as well as the bad, and it would really be a game changer once you find the balance between pushing it with the risks involved and being safe in such a way that you are not just expending your capital to get nothing in return. For me, my strategy is to always lean and invest on those coins that are not too much to buy, but at the same time, promising in terms of the growth they are showing.
2652  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the opinions on bitcoin’s future on: September 04, 2018, 09:14:53 AM
Hello everyone, what is your opinions regarding Bitcoin Futures. Some say Bitcoin will dip, some say will double.I heard that most of the countries were going to change some rules on Bitcoin, That will effect on the value of the Bitcoin too. What will you say? What are your opinions?

Well, I think the fact that bitcoins are experiencing bad trends at the moment, and many of them are depreciating in value seemingly on a daily basis. I think that it still has a good future ahead because of the many factors that supports its cause. First off, the support that people give; although it is evident that the market is not doing good, people keep holding on the positive things that the market is showing, and so, they are not giving up hope that the market will soon be alright, and the value of the coins will go up with it.
2653  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it good to recruit other person to join Blockchain technology? on: August 31, 2018, 10:58:00 PM
I think majority of people here are very selfish ,. Believe it or not. They are hiding and choose not to tell to the other person especially to their neighbors what is cryptocurrency all about.
They don't want to spread the mechanism of it. And that is very wrong for me.
We must encourage people who have no idea to the cryptos. Teach them how to use and explain what is the benefits of it.
This is also for the good of our industry .
Remember the status of cryptocurrencies as of now is endangered and the value of bitcoins is gradually dropping .
So, the good thing to do is to spread out the operation of Blockchain technology.

Recruiting, or say, convincing someone to try their luck in the cryptocurrency market is one thing; however, making them stay in the long run is a different animal on its own. I say that because there are so many things to consider before one can keep his faith and hope up, especially when talking about the cryptocurrency market. As you know, the market is not doing good, many coins are already dying out, and sometimes, it's just very hard to find the reason to stay. Therefore, if you would just superficially convince someone to be in it without actually having a real purpose or goal, then that would be very difficult, if you ask me.
2654  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always keep fiat while holding on: August 30, 2018, 09:06:52 PM
I think its better if you do short to mid term trading and at the same time, long term holding. You can ride with the volatility of the coins as long as you know how to trade. I agree with you that you need to keep some fiat always so that if there is a coin that has a low price or it is oversold then you can buy it using bitcoins that you bought thru fiat.

Well, although ideally that that strategy would be the better one to approach, I would say that it's always up to the market how one should handle their investments. Whether you are going for a long term or short term one, or a middle-term one at that, what's important is you're are reaching your investment goals and the profit margins you have set. That way, you can always get some returns from the capital, efforts and time you have invested in, which is always better that breaking-even, or more so, losing. In addition, holding money while investing in the cryptocurrency market is a safeguard that one should have because no one knows what will happen to the market.
2655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is dangerous.... on: August 30, 2018, 08:56:22 PM
Crypto has both good side and bad side. Cryptocurrency decentralised nature is the main reason behind its bad side. Because of its decentralised nature it does not under control of any kind of authority or government and because of this no one notice its illegal production which help illegal activities. Cryptocurrency untraceable transaction also supports some criminal activities like kidnapping, murdering, child pronography etc. In resent some times ago the malware attack were happen directly link with cryptocurrency like bitcoin.

That's true. There is no investment that can be said as perfect that one would not have any risk or chance of losing or having some investments turn out to be bad ones. I say that because the cryptocurrency market is known for that characteristic of being volatile and ever-changing, therefore, it would safe to assume that it would be risky and dangerous. However, as an investor, one should always embrace the good with the bad. Also, a person would be a much better investor if he is well-prepared and is ready to face all those dangers to rise up on top.
2656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Winner of this year, ETH or BTC? on: August 30, 2018, 08:46:18 PM
Both ethereums and bitcoins will be winners this year in addition to many other altcoins.  I believe this year we will start seeing huge gains starting now.  It's altcoin season and naturally bitcoins will also rise in price.

I am hoping that your words would turn out to be the truth mate. I say that because I have invested in both those coins, and I pray that anyone of them, or better yet, both of them would make it big in the next following months. However, if you would ask me, I think that Bitcoin is still the clear choice between the two. I am not putting shade on Ethereum, but the price point of Eth right now has really fallen from where it was, and it has really affected its value. Bitcoin, on the other hand, while it's going down, it's showing more positive movements compared to Ethereum recently.
2657  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you track what happens in Crypto industry daily? on: August 30, 2018, 08:26:01 PM
I don't really depend on a particular website when dealing or monitoring cryptocurrency. But i must say that is really quite tedious especially when you are into many different projects and trading also. There are couple of websites out there that i follow to pick different news depending on what am looking for. Cointelegraph is there for daily happening and i also use groups. There are groups that gives updates depending on which group you are in and i always keep an eye on them too. Many of these telegram groups are out there.

I tend to do the same mate. I don't actually check some specific websites or have any platform or application that I check to be updated. The internet is big , and so, if you are seriously aiming to search up what's happening around the cryptocurrency market, you should check everything and make sure that you are checking on those reliable ones because any detail can easily sway you to believe that the details they provide are the what's really happening. For me, I check trusted websites, I follow seasoned and trusted cryptocurrency users, and most importantly, I check around this forum because I can get a lot of feedback about the market from this forum.
2658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long will bounty programs stay with us? on: August 30, 2018, 08:05:29 PM
As long as new projects and coins enter the cryptocurrency world, as well as this forum exists, Bounty programs will run. These new projects and old projects which wish to refine their strategies need the help of bounty hunters to spread the awareness across all over the globe.

I think it will be there in the long run and for an indefinite time; I say that because despite the market having its ups and downs and in dire times most of the time, there are still lost of bounties that come out day in and day out. Also, there are so many people that's supporting it by joining in them and hoping that any one of the bounties popping out would be the game changer bounty anyone is waiting for. I think that as the market improves, the bounty department would also have the same trend and would rise up as well.
2659  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold & Silver are safe than bank deposits ?? on: August 30, 2018, 07:55:36 PM
I also think gold and silver will be safer than depositing money into banks. Gold and silver are commodities that will rise in price in the future. Sometimes banks may go bankrupt, but gold and silver will never lose its value

Well that depends on many other factors. Although gold and silver are valuable assets that can be converted or sold for money at any point in time, with a big assurance that it will yield good money, the problem there arises from the fact that it can be stolen since it's a physically held asset. If you want to have that as your insurance, then you should take into consideration having a good and safe storage system. On the contrary, when you put your money in a bank, it would be safer because they would provide the safety that you need plus guarantee it as well. Having said, it's always a good thing to be on the safe side.
2660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying Bounty With TOKEN or ETH which will be better? on: August 28, 2018, 02:50:22 PM
It is not impossible for bounty hunters to be paid in other currencies like BTC and ETH. There are sections on here you can get such jobs and they are open to select ranks. But I feel this not feasible for most ICOs to do considering the number of bounty participants they get and it will not encourage the circulation of their tokens

That's right. There are actually projects that give Bitcoin or Ethereum as their payment method rather than their tokens; however, those projects are very difficult to find because most of the projects these days are trying to create their own coins and ride the cryptocurrency wave. Also, the requirements to enter those projects are very difficult to reach; the sheer level requirement is not that issue to comply with. Of all my years joining bounties, I have only joined one project that paid in Ethereum, take that for rarity.
