I agree.

I don't like fiat either but still force on using it because we doesn't have a choice since the Government still uses it for corruption and of course manipulating the economy that leads to further conflicts like wars, etc... The future of gambling industry won't stick to the old style for sure because like us using fiat, they won't have a choice if fiat is gonna be phased out in the future, surely they will be force to adopt the latest form of payment which is cryptocurrency or electronic payment system.

That is exactly correct. If anything the whole matter is not what or how but rather when. Its going to happen, sooner or later crypto will become the next generation of money. It really should have happened sooner, we have been using the current monetary systems for too long. They are outdated and have been so, ever since the age of internet came. I cannot say how much crypto will stop corruption and wars but it will definitely help!

the bottleneck here is that most governments have no defined taxation laws yet when it comes to crypto gambling sites. fiat system may be outdated but this traditional payment system will not go away anytime soon. a lot of gamblers are still using it. remember, crypto users are still in small percentage as compared to global population. so it would really take long time before we see the majority of gamblers that will go into crypto

Well by some of what you are saying I can understand the meaning behind it but I will have to quietly shake my head at your assumption that the governments do not have sufficient laws on the taxation of crypto online gambling. The tax laws regarding this is quite clear, because the government very strictly and hastely introduces tax laws, as not to miss out on profits. I think you were thinking of regulation, rather than taxation.
3282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: January 10, 2022, 01:30:55 AM
Well... I can honestly say.. Bitcoin BTC has been my best investment I have ever made. I bought bitcoins BTC when the price was just over $300 per coin and I do not regret it for one second. I have sold some bitcoins at $17 000 in 2017 and I kept enough to sell some more at $25 000 and then again at $40 000 and lately when it reached the all-time-high.  Wink

Bitcoin has changed my life and my financial situation significantly and I will support it and promote it and educate people about it ...as payment for all that it done for me.  Wink

Your story is really very motivating, also if you bought at that price it means that from the beginning you believed in technology and in all the good that BTC offers with its deflationary economy, I really congratulate you and you represent a great example for many and before the world, I hope the word continues to spread, in my case I have never had the privilege of having 1BTC, but if I have had fractions of BTC, and now with everything that is happening in the world, I see that BTC is much safer That having money stored in the bank, in gold, or in any safe asset, for me BTC is the best option for a Safe Haven, because BTC will never disappoint.

I completely and wholeheartedly agree with your statement that Bitcoin will never disappoint. I truly believe that Bitcoin will always remain the favorite even as Altcoins come and go and some even achieve surprising heights on their price charts, Bitcoin will always be the main actor. Especially with the huge volume, trust and hype behind it, over all the years gone by. Bitcoin won't disappoint.
3283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Highest profitable altcoin for you in 2021 on: January 10, 2022, 01:26:15 AM
I would have to think about that for a moment.... But if I had to guess, I would say Solana was one of the top contenders for most promising and highly profitable altcoins for last year. Right next to ada, dot, avax and the sort. Eth is slowly but surely being replaced by better alternatives and by that I mean binance smart chain. Although most of my bags are in Bitcoin, I definitely see a future for defi. Grin

3286  Economy / Gambling / Re: VR online casinos? on: January 07, 2022, 01:33:39 PM
I believe the Metaverse has a promising future for gambling in particular and I am confident that it will revolutionize the online gambling scene.
Metaverse gambling seems like a gimmick currently to be honest since majority of the gamblers will always prefer the traditional version over the virtual one. It's like FIAT vs crypto basically.

However, this trend could actually reverse if there were cheaper ways to access metaverse gambling which I doubt will ever happen.

Metaverse itself seems like a gimmick. Why would anyone care about the Metaverse when we already had it way before? To me it seems like a marketing scheme from Zuckerberg to make something popular. Same with 3D TVs, remember those? I don't know why we pretend like this is something new and modern.

VR gambling sounds interesting but as mentioned, it is really complicated to code. I prefer the real world version. Its way better.
3287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: January 07, 2022, 01:29:20 PM
I expect that for the next years, gambling operators of both online casinos and brick and mortar casinos will be openly accepting Bitcoin bets. And not only that, the Lightning Network will definitely be utilized as well for a more convenient and generally smoother gambling experience.

It is also possibly a big thing in the next years that gamblers could already bet on blockchain game tournaments. For now, I cannot see odds on certain crypto matches. There will definitely be future tournaments on games built on blockchain and gamblers would be able to place their bets on certain teams and players.

Doubt that this will happen.

Most physical casinos are bound by really strict regulations that will likely not allow them to accept anonymous payment methods for AML purposes unless they are situated in a safe haven country.

There is much more value for mainstream online casinos/sportsbooks like Bet365 to accepting BTC though.

Perhaps it is more possible with the use of third party payment service providers. I guess a gambler in a brick and mortar casino could already swipe his Visa or Mastercard Bitcoin or crypto debit card. So it is also very possible that Bitcoin bets will be accepted in the near future but could also be processed in fiat first. So one could place bets in Bitcoin but the amounts to be registered in the casino books are in fiat value. The payout could also be made in Bitcoin.

Seems like a bunch of mental gymnastics and completely unnecessary. Also it ruins the entire point of crypto and Bitcoin, which is to make sure that no third party is ever needed or required. So from my point of view, you seem to be backtracking a bit...

Fiat itself is in the process of being phased out. The future won't have fiat and thats a good thing! No need to drag back old concepts and broken money systems into the new money system...
3288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not too late to meet up on: January 07, 2022, 01:26:12 PM
It is much better to wait than to lose money with your bad and greedy decision. Newbies must also learn this.
Yes because money lost is never recovered even if you make profit, it is regarded as the profit from the order you made and not for the old order that was lost. If you are patient as a trader you won't rush into just any trade, you can increase your profit gradually when you gather little money from the trades you make than you keep losing it.
People who end up selling as soon as it drops because they get scared or they want to buy even lower are usually the ones that loses money. Bitcoin ALWAYS goes back to where it was, breaks its own ATH and that means no matter where you bought it from, even if you did it at 68k+ that means you are going to end up making some profit.

This is why I believe that there is always a chance to profit in crypto if you know what you are doing. Obviously sometimes you buy it today and sell it tomorrow making 10%+ profit in a single day, and sometimes you buy it now and wait 1 year to make a profit. This is why some people eat the loss and try to use that funds to make some more profit to recover from it quicker but usually those same people who made that loss end up making another loss instead of recovering their losses. That's all I am guessing right now of course, maybe they could profit too.

Exactly! That is exactly why my trading strategy is always based on the principle of HODLing bad trades. If you make a bad trade, do not sell. Wait for it to recover. Meanwhile buy some more coin, with whatever money you have, and trade with that! Sooner or later you will make a profit and you will be much happier with yourself than the person who keeps fomoing and panic-selling.
3289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you have a chance to become a VIP what casinos will those be on: January 07, 2022, 01:17:49 PM
Honestly, I'm not a VIP of any gambling sites I'm playing but every casino has perks and premium giveaways for their VIP, if I'm going to target one or two casinos for me to become a VIP what casinos will they be, named at least two casinos and your reasons.

As far as I can tell, there isnt really much of a reason to become VIP on most gambling websites as they use the VIP status as a marketing scheme rather than a rewards program. A lot of gambling websites just give anyone VIP status and its basically almost the same as regular user. So thats why I do  not really take it seriously. But I am sure many people here would beg to differ.
3290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site in 2021 on: January 07, 2022, 01:13:19 PM
I do not really subjectively believe in a "best gambling site". By best gambling website, do you mean the one with the best security? Best rewards? Best games? Best user interface? To me they all seem very much the same or at least extremely similiar. So the main factor you should be looking for, I guess, would be the most reliable and trustworthy website. You want to be careful with where you put your money.
3291  Other / Archival / Re: Are Banks afraid of Crypto adoption? on: January 07, 2022, 01:10:26 PM
I think that banks are afraid of crypto adoption and quite extremely, I would say. Crypto is there to literally replace banks. Blockbuster facing the age of internet streaming videos , basically. At this point it is only a small matter of time until nobody wants to use banks anymore. Why even pay a fee for a third party to hold your money? That just seems like a stone age idea that has never gotten replaced-
3292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 06, 2022, 04:06:55 PM
We always read the words "Don't bet more than you can afford to lose", but are we really following that safe principle in gambling?

So, I have a question here, if you are earning like $2000 a month, how much are you willing to gamble that you think you can afford to lose?
Please use the amount as a basis for your answer.

Thats not really the way I would look at things. It really depends on many factors like which country you are in, what is your debt situation, what is more important to you, your family status and so on... The real question when it comes to gambling bags each month should be: how much are you willing to lose? And I think that changes the answer to as little as possible. I would say no more than 10% of whatever is left over.
3293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Could Gambling Legalization be a positive thing for Brazil? on: January 06, 2022, 04:04:15 PM
I believe Brazil could benefit from the tax revenue, however going by the current government of Brazil and how they use the taxes they gather from the people, I severly doubt that they will put the gambling tax revenue to any good use. If anything it will land in the pockets of politicians and other corrupt people. As far as the legalization of gambling goes, it might be a good thing but I don't currently see how.

they need to fix their government first before they look for some way to increase the tax revenue of their country because the only people who get the benefit from it is the corrupt government and for the country, it won't bring anything good except they will gonna suffer even more than when it was not yet legalized. Because there are high chances that people will take this chance to organize their own gambling dens to benefit from it and make everyone play like there is no tomorrow. It would become an instant trend, because of how many people play every day and they need to be ready on the mental health of those who lose their senses when they lose everything they have because more likely they won't do anything good after that.

Well from a perspective of decentralised gambling and crypto gambling, it might be already too hard for any government to effectively stifle "gambling dens" especially the ones running on TOR or similiar methods to cover their tracks and stay online.

So it isnt really a question of what they want to avoid but rather how they want to redirect the revenue from those gambling dens in such a way that they will be able to tax it.
3294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to penalize airdrop hunters? on: January 06, 2022, 04:01:37 PM
Airdrops are a great way to attract people into newly-fond crypto projects. They're basically "free money" for not doing anything in return. Some projects have been widely successful after an airdrop, while others have gone all the way down the drain. There's been a upsurge of airdrop hunters looking to "milk rewards" from the system, effectively dumping all of their coins/tokens on the market for profit. While most projects have been quite flexible in the eligibility for an airdrop, one project decided to take the stand by adopting measures to prevent abuse. Parachain Swap's airdrop has been quite controversial as it only rewarded a small portion of its users. The vast majority of the people weren't rewarded (especially airdrop hunters), resulting in a decline of the token's price.

Do you think it's a good idea to penalize airdrop hunters? Will this do more harm or good to the adoption of crypto/Blockchain tech? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

Well, from my own subjective perspective, I believe that a targeted penalization to weed out any bad actors will benefit the entire airdrop campaign and it will set a new standard for airdroppers. This may raise the value of the airdrops, as the demand for quality goes up and is strictly controlled. Having said that, penalizing randomly will probably do the opposite and discourage airdroppers.  Roll Eyes
3295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 13.4% Drop As Result of KAZAKH Government Resigns. on: January 06, 2022, 03:58:46 PM
If the dip comes mostly from Kazachstans internet shutdown and the FED fud then most definitely I believe that this dump is a bear trap. There is no way that we are not going to see a bounce after the entire Kazachstan internet dillema cools down and the miners go online again. Basically the last few days of dump were an unsustainable FUD situation and soon we will be seeing a lot of FOMO. Grin

3297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stick to altcoins or switch to Bitcoin or stablecoins? on: January 05, 2022, 02:39:03 PM
Well, as far as Bitcoin and stablecoins go, these are two completely different things. If Bitcoin goes down, it definitely will drag altcoins behind it. At that point, stablecoins are your safe haven. If Bitcoin goes up, some altcoins go up even harder. But then again, its anyone's guess as to which altcoins will go up most. So my strategy at that point is not to put all my eggs in a single basket. Grin
3298  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: January 05, 2022, 02:36:29 PM
It is popular opinion sometimes that a trading strategy might no longer be effective if one begins to loose money while trading instead of gaining.

An important question i ask myself whenever i hear about people complaining or simply discussing a series of consecutive looses they have made while trading using a certain strategy is;

HOW MANY CONSECUTIVE LOOSES IN TRADING CAN YOU HANDLE BEFORE YOU ACCEPT THAT YOUR CURRENT TRADING STRATEGY IS BECOMING LESS EFFECTIVE?

If you're making ANY losses in trading then by my standards, you definitely are doing the wrong kind of trading. At that point I would not call whatever you are doing trading but rather gambling. If you make a bad trade, the last thing you want to do is fomo sell/buy and flip flop around until your money is completely gone. If I make a bad trade, I hodl that and use other money to keep trading. At some point, you will be able to sell your hodl for a profit.
3299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Betplay.io goes Solana on: January 05, 2022, 02:33:17 PM
Thats quite interesting. Solana is definitely going to be doing big things, especially when it comes to DeFI. But I wonder what would the point be for opening a casino in the solana ecosystem? Are there any advantages that Betplay did not have before?

Nontheless, this will benefit the growth of solana, especially for investors, so I am definitely not going to be complaining Smiley

Good job, keep going!

If anything it will land in the pockets of politicians and other corrupt people. As far as the legalization of gambling goes, it might be a good thing but I don't currently see how.

Corruption I believe is the core of every single government out there, be it democratic, communist or even a dictatorship, all of them have yet to make people believe in their plans which would honestly give 100% to these people. What I do think is, at least this would give them a chance to improve their state. The fundings might come in handy during the pandemic and that can help the COVID situation improve a bit.

While you may be right about corruption being in the core of every single government out there, I very much doubt that all corruption can be claimed to be at the same levels. There are definitely countries that are so openly corrupt, that it may as well be a giant drug cartel. Others can be secretely corrupt but it always shows reflected at the citizens wealth and health. Look at the people to see how bad a country is.
