3381  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a Loan on: February 26, 2013, 01:45:06 AM
I am aware of this, and my family is poor. If nobody wants to accept it that is ok.

Many poor people in the world. I am not rich but I live within my means. No money no extras, that simple.
Is it 80BTC or $80?
If you are poor, how would you repay? What collateral could you provide?
3382  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy 1.5 BTC Via Paypal Today on: February 26, 2013, 01:14:02 AM
there are quite a few offers on here. Bitcoinbuddy with his Bitcoinbuddy.blogspot.com was very active lately.

Tried him and another guy today already but both are out of stock. I know paypal sucks but its the only payment option available to me at the moment

You'll be hard pressed to find anyone willing unless you have good references.
Good luck though.
3383  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy 1.5 BTC Via Paypal Today on: February 26, 2013, 12:51:53 AM
As the title says, looking to buy 1.5 BTC through paypal. only payment option available to me at the moment until I get paid, but I need the BTC ASAP to pay off some debts.

You do know most look at PP as the Devil, right?
3384  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: How do you overclock a 7970 past 1125Mhz? on: February 26, 2013, 12:50:55 AM
I currently have one MSI Afterburner 7970 mining away in BAMT.  How can I overclock the core clock past 1125Mhz?

Search feature and Google are your friends. Use them.
3385  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: 5830/5850/5870 for Litecoins on: February 25, 2013, 11:45:01 PM
Hello,

I would like to buy some additional GPU's and can pay by Litecoin and/or cash.

If you have cards that work fine, please get in touch. Broken fans / ugly is OK with me as long as they work.

I will pull down this message when I have bought up the number of cards I am looking for.

Right now I could use 4-6 more cards and was looking to pay $70-90 (depending on model) for good condition cards. Broken fan/ugly cards $40-60 depending on the model.

I could also use a deal on the riser cables...

Let's deal Smiley

Please use escrow. CYA
3386  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wouldn't BFL stand to make more money if they just used their ASICs themselves? on: February 25, 2013, 11:41:45 PM
It seems like controlling these machines under a single entity would yield more profits.

Give how often it is asked, I really wish that the answer to this question was:

"As soon as you learn how to read".

I have a few mining hardware questions to post.

Read the rules.

3389  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the cheapest ASIC? on: February 25, 2013, 10:14:53 PM
The Butterfly labs Jalapeno is by far the cheapest at $150 + shipping, but be aware that they are not shipping them yet and are already several months behind their original shipping dates.

All current ASIC manufacturers are shady in some way or another, do a lot of research to see if you want to risk your money

So they are fraud?

there are asics mining right now. but all companies have problems, many havent delieverd yet; just take everything you read with a grain of salt.

Oh right, why are not delivered yet? They made promises and haven't fulfilled them I see, kind of damages the trust people have in the company.

A little reading of this very forum or a quick Google would net what you seek instead of making another thread.

The best posts on this thread are from KWH. You, sir, win

Thank you sir, just trying to keep it real and inject a little humor in a few threads.

I remember warning users against him when he started posting. All his vouches are from unrepped new users, so that should say something already.

3395  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 1 or a few BTC for PP on: February 24, 2013, 04:01:30 AM
It isn't, I'm not a scammer, it's PP balance.

While you may be legit, we see this everyday and they ALL claim they are not scammers. Color me skeptical......
3396  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 1 or a few BTC for PP on: February 24, 2013, 03:49:43 AM
yeah i understand that, I have one person i usually buy them thru for PP but he has been out for a few days now so thought i might see if anyone was willing. i don't think you can do a chargeback when it is sent as a gift, i am verified paypal for years, i am willing to pay above value and i do have feedback going back several months on here from very well know traders.

If it's paid via CC through PP then it CAN be charged back.
3397  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 1 or a few BTC for PP on: February 24, 2013, 03:12:34 AM
I have feedback, mainly need just one but can buy a few if anyone with good feedback is willing.

Not done much reading, have you?

3400  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] *FANS* for Sapphire 5830 xtreme's on: February 22, 2013, 04:22:23 PM
I assume the regular non-xtreme Sapphire's use the exact same fan?  anyway, I need 4 of these to get them ready to resell (well, make that 5, in case another breaks down in the next month or so)..   Most of my 5830's I've been running fanless @ 0.95v for a while now..

anyone have a batch they'd want to sell, or could direct me to some guy on ebay?

thanks

Measure the diameter, height and bolt pattern and go here: http://myworld.ebay.com/cooler_shop/&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2754
Don't forget to match the plug ends and wire length. I bought many fans for Nvidia and AMD from them.

He doesn't have any for the sapphire 5830s Wink
I've looked.

Did you use your fan dimensions or just look for the name? I used the dimensions to match up the fans on my Diamond 5830's. They were a little shorter in height but worked fine.
You can also email him if you haven't.

Fan dimensions of course.  The 5830s use a funky 39mmx41mmx39mmx41mm mounting pattern. I think he's got sapphire 5850 fans which are a bit smaller but $28 for the fan :/

That sounds like the 460 2win fans but they are smaller in diameter IIRC. I love how the manufacturers use bastard size mounts and rape you on price. Mine were straight forward, no issues except height and that wasn't a problem. Sorry I couldn't help.
Good luck!
