341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How the casino takes money from you with a deposit bonus on: March 18, 2024, 10:04:17 PM
I agree with you because casinos are businesses and they are profits oriented and at that it is very important to adhere to the strict operational conditions that helped both the gamblers and the casino but most importantly the casino is favoured when it comes to giving out free money in form of bonuses and since the casino doesn't want to give out free money the accompanied their bonuses with high wager requirements.

So also we have to be smart enough to know how to apply ourselves to all the conditions that the casino may put up when we are chasing bonuses.

Casino bonuses are a common marketing strategy used by online casinos to attract new players and retain existing ones. These bonuses come in various forms, such as welcome bonuses, no-deposit bonuses, free spins, and loyalty rewards. While they may seem like free money at first glance, it is essential to understand that casinos are businesses aiming to make a profit as you have noted and so, the terms and conditions attached to these bonuses often include wagering requirements to protect the casino’s interests.

Wagering requirements dictate how many times a player must wager the bonus amount before being able to withdraw any winnings associated with it. For example, if a casino offers a $100 bonus with a 20x wagering requirement, the player would need to wager $2000 ($100 x 20) before cashing out any winnings.

That's why it is very important for a gambler to read the rules and regulations first before believing or engaging in a new casino because bonuses are like a trap set for those who are finding to have much funds in order to play, but little do they know there are hidden or not hidden rules that are hard to see if you do not take precaution or observe first. That's why it's like a trap set for those who need to have a lot of funds in order to play, but little do they know there are hidden or not hidden rules that are hard to see if you do not take precaution or observe first. That's why it's like a trap set for those who need to have a lot of funds in order to play, but little do they know there are hidden or not hidden rules that are hard to see if you do not take precaution or observe first. That's why it is said that many new users or gamblers on a website are being trapped, or their funds are being trapped in a website casino, and they can't cash out their winnings because they still need to reach a specific amount of wager. That's why it is very important for anyone to read first before they check the terms and regulations, because that's when you can see their hard-to-see rules in order to avoid inconvenience and to avoid trapping your funds in a website casino.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The severing of international Internet cables. on: March 18, 2024, 09:52:07 PM
Well if international internet or internet itself will be totally be gone then that's when we can say that bitcoin will be greatly affected expect that its price might drop or not we never know but the thing is bitcoin mining will be the first to be affecred or bitcoin transactions, because if internet will be gone or let say has defect in many countries then we know thta bitcoin is being run by nodes or machine that would process the transactions or builing block in bitcoin if those nodes or machines will be affected then expect bitcoin will become more slower or worst there will be no processes transaction anymore, but yeah its far from happening because even international internet cables are being affected we all know they have a back up or alterbative way in order for internet to still work. One thing is for sure: the internet will never be gone unless under certain circumstances.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin become a payment option? Was the initial design of bitcoin tobe paym on: March 18, 2024, 02:42:30 PM
Bitcoin is already being used now as another form of payment, but yeah it is mostly used in closed group or just those person who are aware about the existence of crypto curren y and especially bitcoin, many online trasactions now can be done using bitcoin as it provides security and safety, and also you can transfer any amount without having a tax or anything, but of course as I said these transactions are mainly online or few people, its because bitcoin or crypto currency can't still be spread world wide, I mean even we are already spreading the idea about bitcoi many people are still hesistant to it as also this kind of payment is too complex for other individual to handle, so before bitcoin or any crypro currency can be used for transactions daily there is still a long way of process for everyone to adopt it, we will wait for that day to happen.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does pragmatic play bonus buy really worth it? on: March 18, 2024, 01:13:22 PM
Well, simple people or gamblers are easily entertained and addicted to something cool or pleasing to their eyes sometimes bonus play are very attractive in a sense that an website or casino website are flagging their bonuses as this will be the primary way of attracting and inviting new customers in their website and of course as you notice bonus play may look like cheap and has a lot of benefits but if you will be more practical and observant then you will see that bonus plays are nothing good as regular plays and of course bonus plays sometimes or more on losing game because it is a bonus you will not expect that you will win right away using bonus plays, in short this is just a way or feature for them to attract other gamblers. So think before you spend most of your money on bonuses, because it is not worth it at times.
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop gambling if you don’t have free time to do it on: March 18, 2024, 08:19:42 AM
I’m always a victim of this mistake before when I’m still allure on online casino. I keep playing every night after work. I always play until midnight which makes me consume most of my rest time for my job preparation tomorrow.

The result is I don’t have much energy at work due to insufficient sleep and I lose funds on gambling because I keep playing quick due to my limited time. The effect is very disadvantageous to me since I both lose in these situations. This is the reason why I change my gambling pattern significantly that limit me to play only during weekends when I don’t have job tomorrow.

This is an advice based on my experience, don’t ever insert gambling on your schedule if you really don’t have free time for it because it will always result to disaster in both gambling and your life.

it seems almost the same as a thread here about gambling while working but the only difference is, this post of yours is about gambling before your work starts. Well, if you know that you have something important that you need to take care of and prepare for your work, you shouldn't have used your little time to gamble, because gambling is tricky, when you say you will only gamble with a little time, you will realize that you have been playing it for a long time so It's good that you noticed it early OP, It is difficult because if it continues, it can affect you and your work if you influence gambling. We will always think that nothing is permanent today, everything can be lost if we don't value it and we always take it for granted.
You exactly know your priority, right? If you can't do things multiple times, then don't add more, especially staying up late at night just to play gambling—not just gambling but other things. The thing is, gambling is such an activity that could drain you not just mentally but physically due to the grave effects of gambling, such as bad effects like anxiety or any side effects to your brain. Based on what OP is doing, he is sacrificing his sleep time just to play gambling because he can't control himself, and because he is too addicted, it takes a toll on him.

If you know how to prioritise things, then you will know that you should not sacrifice your health over the influence of gambling. because it will not only affect your funds but also your health if you do not keep checking yourself, so better stay away from gambling if you are about to go to sleep.
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done something crazy to bet? on: March 17, 2024, 10:29:56 PM
Everyone really has done stupid things or crazy things just for gambling, and we all have those things. What crazy things have I done just to play gambling? Stealing: yes, I learned how to steal money from my family and, worst of all, from my friends. I still didn't notice back then that what I'm doing is wrong and should never ever be done, but because I'm too addicted to gambling, I couldn't control myself and ended up doing those things. But of course, thankfully, I suddenly woke up and thought that what I'm doing for others will also happen to me, or it will backfire, so from then on, I controlled my gambling obbies. If I had extra money, instead of using it for investment, I used it for investment, but of course sometimes I still gamble, but with limited capital for gambling. In order for me not to overboard my experiences or losses in gambling,.
347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does number of traders affect volatility? on: March 17, 2024, 09:55:04 PM
Technically yes, because traders or investors are the ones who make the market move, every engagement or every trader a trader does could affect the movement in the market, lets take example of what we call whales, they are the investors that brough a very huge amount of assets and because of that they greatly affect the market the scary part is that they could also manipulate the market, I know crypto currency is cannot be controlled but because of people having such huge amount of assets they could change or influenced the movement in the market, more over a single individual could not do it all of course, if for instance a large group of whales could turn the tides either beneficial for them or for other investors. But in terms of traders, which are increasing, I don't think there will be a great effect unless they open and close a big trade.
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do big time traders or investors do for fun while waiting? on: March 17, 2024, 01:33:27 AM
Well, I'm not one of the big traders or full-time traders, but for me as a trader, I always do day trades, wherein I would collect or see the result of my trade throughout the day or if it hit the TP or SL, and in order to divert my attention to other things, I would play games, watch movies or anime, and of course learn new things in crypto, especially in trading. Yes, while waiting for my trade, I deepened my knowledge of trading, as trading is a continuous process of learning in order to obtain different kinds of knowledge that I could use on my future trades.

I'm already working, so I have a reason why I can leave my trades. I keep busy with my work, but of course, if there's a chance, I'll check my trades to see what their status is or if there will be a notification about my trades.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paper Betting- Would You Consider it if you Were to Start Sports betting Again on: March 16, 2024, 09:49:34 AM
It is just like demo trading. Would do it if you were to begin sports betting again or jump right straight into the real thing?

I preferred to learn through my experience on gambling because it’s just a based on luck even if I do some analysis on a game. There’s a lot of unknown variables that affect a game such as star player not performing well, injury and other unforeseen event. I just use small amount whenever I’m still on this learning phase and increase gradually when the result is looking good until I hit a bumps of lose which means I start again from scratch.

I usually watch a lot of matches on a same league before I place a bet and enter to my learning phase of actual betting. Nothing is wrong when playing using paper bet but there’s really no fun if there’s no money involved.
Yeah, there's still a part where you can win based on luck, but the thing is, analysing and formulating a strategy to formulate your decision is a must even in sports betting, and it gives those sports bets more chances of winning if you carefully analyse the game or the two opposing teams or players. That's why being updated on the sports you are betting on is important, so you can know or have an idea who will win or not.

I like sports betting, and it makes up my whole gambling career, meaning I mostly do sports betting rather than gambling, such as relying on luck. Sports betting is my number one gambling game, and second is card game-based gambling because it does not rely on luck more. So I'd rather play sports betting than every other gambling game, and if I have to start playing paper-based betting, then I'm open to exploring it.
350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New trader's must remember it. on: March 16, 2024, 08:43:53 AM
Believe it or not, not all traders follow the steps or instructions in the picture, especially those new to trading, but they will eventually learn the truth by experiencing the hardship or losing in trading if they will actually continue trading even if they experience the loss on their first try at trading.

Trading or day trading is not an easy thing because you will experience anxiety wherein you can't be comfortable because you know you have open trades, which may result in monitoring your open trade throughout the day, which could affect your decision. If traders will actually follow the steps or instructions in your picture, then maybe they can be a profitable trader, but of course it still depends on their knowledge and how they can make a good trade analysis. This kind of topic is discussed numerous times in this forum, but the thing is, if this kind of advice doesn't reach those traders that don't lurk here, then how can they know what they should do?
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Scratch Offs on: March 16, 2024, 08:05:37 AM
Well, I also play scratch it, and my main purpose is to enjoy it because I enjoy playing it, but yeah, I don't expect to win because I know that I'm not in luck with this kind of thing, so I just enjoy myself. But I experienced one time that I won a lot in one scratch. I ended up buying more, but of course I secured some profit, so even if I lose those three tickets, I still go home with money.

In my country, scratching is also a hobby for most people because, why not? It's cheap, fun to play, and of course, simple, so even children or the elderly are still playing those tickets, and I don't see anything wrong with that; it just has a risk of someone becoming addicted, and someone will waste a lot of money on that, hoping to win, but we all know winning is too little to scratch.
352  Economy / Economics / Re: Early exposure of children to wealth and investments on: March 15, 2024, 10:11:01 PM
I would introduce investment to my kids if they are mature enough at a very young age and are knowing the use of money and how to save it and make more money.

However not every parent is lucky like that, many end up parenting properly but the kids are wasting their money like anything and not taking the advice of wiser parents. We can only hope that our parenting is proper and things dont turn out so grim.

The education system will never teach children about investment and savings nor how to be independent and be a neat adult.
I guess there’s really no issue even if we tell our kids at an early age that we have investments like this and like that. What’s hard is letting them understand that they are the next owners in line so they should learn to manage it whether they like it or not. That alone will definitely put them in pressure most especially if they have no passion in holding such investments.

However, there’s always a solution to every problem. Don’t put on their shoulders the sole success of certain investments as they might misinterpret that. But train them to be responsible kids and surely, when they are mature enough, they will definitely understand the purpose of why they should be aware of their investments.
This is a great way to train your children. But for me I have a different approach, even I am successful or I become wealthy I will never ever spoil my child, in a sense that they should work on what they get or they should earn what they deserved meaning its like a rewarding system, if they did great then they can get what they want, in that way they will adopt to the culture of if they are soing great or achieved something then they can be rewarded, in that way they will not be spoiled and also they will learn the value of money or gifts, Besides the outcome will be based on how good or way of parenting, for me I want them to be no independent into me or get into their head that they are also reach, No, I'm the one who is rich I am so they have to earn the wealth I have.
353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best altcoin now? on: March 15, 2024, 09:25:00 PM
If you are familiar with Solana, then I think you should invest in it. Solana is making a good move in the market, and added to that, Solana is being used in different projects, or Solana has projects that are becoming more expensive, and yeah, Solana is, I think, one of the safest alt coins to invest in, as it has been proven. You could also do ETH, which is, I can say, the second-highest price in crypto currency. It always follows when bitcoin is either moving up or down, but of course, be careful with trading or investing in altcoins as they are subject to dips as the investors are only thinking about selling their stocks as they see the price of their altcoins increase. It's okay to try and trade altcoins; just stay away from memes and shitcoins, although they can be profitable at times, but not for trading.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is Legal In Our Country But if You Promote It Online You'll Go To Jail? on: March 15, 2024, 02:31:51 PM
Well I already know what country are you talking about and we are the same living in that country, the thing is gambling is not entirely legal in the country, meaning there are exceptions such as you can't operate without a permit or yiu are not following the legal rules and regulations in your establishment, and also winning a very huge amount of money from gambling should undergo in government meaning there are taxes and such which is a bullshit, but we can't argue because they are the one that implements the rules or laws so we don't have a choice but to obey and if some cases you win big amount in gambling in this country make sure you win in a legal establishment or business or else government will treat your earning as subject to crime and you will not get a single penny. For example, if you win in an illegal casino and announce it on social media, the government or authority will find a way to confiscate your money as it came from an illegal business.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is really unexpected on: March 15, 2024, 11:14:11 AM
Well that's what gambling is, all about unexpected, you will never know when you will win or lose, and sometimes you even lose more than winning, but for some fortunate people or individual, they experience the good unexpected event of gambling, those are that one's that win and get a lot of money from that, but of course on the other side there is someone that is addicted to gambling and they are losing more and deepening their suffering, its fortunate that OP know when to stop and also when to secure your gain, if you win in a gambling games you don't need to keep on betting or playing, you should have a system where in you will stop when it reach your fund limit that is allocated for gambling. and when to stop when you reach your goal and secure it. If you are an individual who can't control themselves, then you better stay out of gambling.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws? on: March 15, 2024, 06:53:07 AM
simple: no laws, no violations, simply as that, but the thing is, does it help if there are no laws when it comes to gambling? I think not. Laws are created and implemented in order to maintain order in a country. Imagine there are no restrictions on gambling, no age restrictions, or no age limit on who can play gambling games. Then many youths will be addicted and open to gambling.

Or if something happens, such as a crime, because of gambling but there are no laws regarding gambling, then they can, for example, operate illegal establishments made for gambling because they have the guts and no fear of being caught. Laws are important in every aspect of a country; without them, there will be no peace at all. If laws are lacking in gambling-related areas, then there will be people who will not fearing to do bad things behind gambling.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Im new here but Im old trader i keep eyes on Market. on: March 14, 2024, 11:35:49 PM
Old trader? It doesn't seem like your statement proves you are an old trader or have a lot of experience in trading. Based on your statement, you are believing in theory, or you've mentioned the theory about bitcoin crushing down, which is impossible, and yeah, it is impossible. It seems like a theory for those who want bitcoin to crash down. And about your other statements, if you really are an experienced trader, then you will show some analysis, graphs, or anything else that could support your claims because that's not what traders say about their analysis. I don't mean to criticise, but the thing is, your saying you are an experienced trader is not valid until you follow up on this question about me: what will be the proof of your claims and also the proof that you really are an old or experienced trader?. I dare you, OP. I hope you won't ignore this dare of mine.
358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stay off any missed opportunity on: March 14, 2024, 10:36:43 PM
My definition os opportunity in trading is that you are the one that will make your own opportunity, meaning based on your analysis or decision you are the one that will determine it if you will earn from a trade or not and the result will of course baded on your execution, bitcoin or any crypto currency market has a very volatile market so the opportunity is limitless, but of course there are what we call trends so it is really necessary for a trader to work on his/her own knowledge and decision making and of course your experience, no one become a trader is being a professional and can achieve 50% win rate in trading in just a short time, you will need experience as experience is the great lesson of all, that's when you will discover and adopt things, so don't be frustrated if in your first year you have a few wins, instead focus on developing your skills.
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might reach $100k before halviing. What is your exit strategy? on: March 14, 2024, 10:12:19 PM
If the bitcoin price will reach $100k before halving, then what more after that? Imagine how the bitcoin price will rise. What is the exit strategy? For now, I don't have any plans to sell my bitcoin, even if it reaches $100k, because I believe that bitcoin will get more profitable. Imagine the profit you can make. Maybe the minimum I will sell my bitcoin is $200,000. Why not aim higher? But it doesn't mean I will sell all of my holdings—maybe a few—because I already calculated how much I get when the price reaches what I desire. But if it does not happen, then fine. I'll just wait patiently when I see a good opportunity to sell. But for now, yeah, I don't feel like selling because I want to keep holding like others do, and that's the reason why the bitcoin price right now is soaring. I also hope until then whales or big investors and holders won't sell their holdings.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for the elderly homeless. on: March 14, 2024, 09:52:55 PM
you have been active on this forum for years, through all the post ATH corrections('15,'18,'22) of previous ATH('17,'21).. speaking about your copper collection, but now you finally want to take a punt at bitcoin whilst its on a ATH and leading upto the next patterned superior ATH of 2025

seems you missed out on the best opportunities, once again
It can't be helped; not all of us are destined to experience those opportunities, but that doesn't mean that you will stop or that it will hinder your investment or investing in bitcoin. As they say, there's no too late in investing in bitcoin, even if you missed a chance or opportunity, you still can have those things or you are the one that will make those opportunities. As bitcoin or crypto currency is volatile, there are no implications that it will be too late for you to invest because every day or every moment there are opened opportunities in the market. It will depend on how you see it and how you make those opportunities into profit. You just need to be resourceful and have patience with bitcoin because it will be a hardship to understand it or to be able to profit from it. Of course, you need a lot of things before you can start earning.
