For long term the most reliable project are still some of the most famous ones, like BTC, LTC, ETH and Waves.
Regarding new emerging coins or tokens, I suggest you to take a look at MYST and InvestFeed for long term.

I'm buying Cindicator (CND) and Monetha (MTH). They are very good tokens with a very low price right now (under .20$). So it's a good time to buy.

Last year alts rise a lot. I dont know the average percentage. But when I check coins in the market at year 2013 lots of them dead now (too low ranks). probably new tech coins won them (like peercoin, namecoin, ixcoin etc) Also we are following new ICO s and most of us expecting too much gain from new coins which are not at the market. If our ICO expectations will happen, when they added to market, current market coins will go down. kind of paradox  Well, it really depends on the altcoin. You are right stating that in 2013 there were several coins which looked very promising for the long term (for example Primecoin, etc.) and then they are basically dead project right now. But always keep in mind crypto-space moves much faster than 'traditional' assets like stocks or commodities. So 'long-term' for cryptocoins could be considered a year or even less. |

Cryptopia has like 500 coins, most I research are dead or barely trying thanks to the December pump. I know there are real projects on there like Xtrabytes and PoSW but they seem few and far in between. I've individually researched like 50 and it's getting tiresome.
Can you suggest a few others to look into with majority of the volume is on Cryptopia? Not looking for coins that are on other large exchanges along with Cryptopia.
Not looking for a pump and dumps really hoping I can be pointed in the direction some quality tokens.
InvestFeed (IFT) has majority of its volumes on cryptopia. This is a very good project in my humble opinion since it is an attempt to build a social network for investors and traders where users can earn IFT tokens as well! After the fall of the market, the Cindicator begins its rapid growth! Now the cost is 20 cents, but I'm sure that very soon we will see how the CND will break through the mark of 1 dollar. Longevity in my opinion is one of the best coins!
For price 1 usd they must have marketcap at 1.5 billions usd. Look at the numbers of tokens. Its impossible i think for ERC token. Such marketcap have top 10 currencies. I don't think that it's impossible for CND to achieve the price of $1. Just look at ADA it has supply of 25B (i guess) and is still trading at $.4 Ada - its a Japanese coin with own blockchain like Ethereum. And Cindicator -this is only ethereum token. You see different? Sorry I was taking just supply into consideration but anyhow I am still adamant that one day CND will cross a price of $1 It can for sure if it delivers real value to its users / community. And as we have seen with many other coins they can also reach incredible prices without delivering anything at all... Agreed with you by the end of this year we will see this happening when it will cross the first milestone of $1 for each token. Cindicator is using unique tech to provide better financial ecosystem with hybrid intelligence which is future tech. I agree with you. Cindicator really has the power to reach 1$ before the end of this year, because this is a very good project and many people look interested and believe in it. I see a good buzz around CND almost in any crypto-community out there... |

I think IOTA is one of the best and most innovative concept in the whole crypto-world. It has been the actual first one to try to overcome blockchain technology. Unfortunately the execution of this project has been very bad so far. I never invested in such shit and never will...

It's always good to receive coins with no effort needed. Don't know if this may influence ETC price though...unfortunately many people now associate Ethereum with just ETH and not ETC. Is there an official thread about Callisto here on bitcointalk?

Now I am building up my portfolio and it is consists of mainly 3 tokens. They are SGR, PCL and Blue. I am pretty optimistic about them. There is another project, I think will be a successful one is Omnitude. But I think peculium and Blue will be ground breaking project and I am holding them for at least few months. And SGR is also worth mentioning. If SGR can provide what it promised, I will be more than happy
It's a good portfolio. It looks you prefer to concentrate rather than to diversify and it may be good in the long term. What is PCL by the way? I cannot find it on coinmarketcap... |

Why does one address have over 92% of the supply? Is this the owners/developers? Are these tokens locked or could be sold anytime?
i am not sure if they are locked or not, i think that they are not. i have mine in my wallet. the problem is they cost nothing.. i have a thousand of them, and all this amount costs about 7 dollars)) i still hope the situation will improve in future. now i feel bad for investors.. We gotta wait and be patient. The team is taking time to implement the strategy and release the app at least on google play. But I think once the app is released and people will start to use it, SGG price will move up accordingly... |

MYST my worst investment. i joined at ico, nearly 6-7 months passed at it is still at same level (in usd ) in ether i lost too much . come on MYST do something
Yes, I understand your point of view because I did the same. I think Mysterium team is very slow compared to other teams, don't know why. But this is very long-term investment. You should wait at least mid-2019 when another stage of token sale will happen, according to their roadmap. |
