341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin already won ? on: September 29, 2019, 09:42:37 AM
I believe that the greatest victory for Bitcoin will come when major retail companies like Amazon, Best Buy and the rest starts to accept it as a means of payment. I am sure that a time will come when they start doing that very soon.
Let's face it, those mentioned by you are small fries compared to transactions taking place in petrol industry.
The moment of absolute win and domination of bitcoin over the world is the first, legal and official petro-bitcoin deal.
Obviously it will also mark the new war, war on crypto from our current world policeman...
That's why I still think we can't declare a pure win. Long and twisty road ahead, Pikes Peak seem like corresponding comparison.
Power(adoption), grip(trust) and excellent driver(smart management) will be necessary in order to storm on to the top.
342  Other / Off-topic / Re: BTCdude ''The search for the dude behind Bitcoin''. on: September 29, 2019, 08:41:38 AM
... if you have anything more to add to this endeavor.
Idea seems quite good although somewhat limited in content. There are finite number of serious candidates so in order to keep your page growing, you will eventually be forced to either write nonsense or do more insightful investigation. Both ways are equally hard.
Maybe its time to add some more sections that you could focus on? Even a form of personal blog unrelated to satoshi hunt.
One more thing about the page layout, it does look clear and tidy but headlines separated with so much free and empty space are rather hard to read, there is simply to much scrolling. Think about making the content more compact, divided in subcategories etc.
Hope that my opinion helps you somehow, cheers and good luck.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More Money,More Problems:Can We Really Trust Facebook to “Fix” Digital Currency? on: September 28, 2019, 08:51:08 PM
...large threat to banks or even central banks itself.
With all due respect but threat my ass. No way dude, I wont believe such statements in million years, no matter how often it gets repeated. I think its a project designed by the central, supported by it and they most likely, cheering for it as we post.
I see it as a threat to human kind, another emanation of world government. Call me conspiracy theorist but it is better to be cautious then sorry. This company is simply to big, to important and simply to heavily entangled with the three letter intelligence organisations of all sorts. Trust nobody, especially trust no corp.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine wants to legalize crypto (again) on: September 28, 2019, 07:51:49 PM
Many people in this forum are probably unfamiliar with this, but my country certainly is. I HOPE you can get the law approved and authorities respect them, to stop the extorting, and all the garbage that brings (corruption, organized crime, etc).
Could you describe from your perspective and knowledge, how those extortions look like? What is the main modus operandi? Who and how makes profit of miners? What about recognition for electronic property as physical property?
It is quite sad how modern journalism works, we know almost nothing about those little, dirty secrets.
We are basically neighbours and yet, stuff like that are never covered even in alternative media.
Let's make use of this mean of communication to spread the awareness.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine wants to legalize crypto (again) on: September 28, 2019, 05:52:43 PM
Another good news for cryptocurrencies...
If such thing as good tax exist then it is a good news indeed. If I understand correctly, if one keeps the low profile, it is possible to avoid any form of exaction from the Ukrainian government. Please explain what is so good in changes in law with witch the state will stick his giant, sniffing nose in? This is horrible information, if you ask me. Obvious pretext to take money from people is obvious.
Why bother with rampant corruption and power abusing cops? Let's tax them geeks!
346  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Journey to the Mars,Elon Musk vision! on: September 28, 2019, 08:41:41 AM
In my opinion this is all a giant PR stunt, nothing more than massive stocks bumping action.
In case I'm mistaken, more power to him, it's always good to have dreams and challenging goals.
Why I think it is all smoke and mirrors? The simplest answer is; the propulsion system.
Small rockets and ships are always going to be the way to go off the planet BUT only for humans and other animals.
Cargo, parts, supplies need something else. Gaussian space gun, electromagnetic trebuchet, mass driver stuff like that. Inanimate and resilient objects don't care about g-force, without this in mind they will be stuck with astronomical costs of acheiving escaping velocity.
Electromagnetism is the only way to go, it is possible with today technology and yet they are completely silent about this.
This convinces me they are not all that serious about colonisation, if at all serious.

Commercial space(low orbit) sightseeing may be a completely different story and I think this is their real goal.
347  Local / Polski / Re: Ogólne rozmowy na temat kampanii sygnatur on: September 28, 2019, 08:34:51 AM
A takie o https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5188047.0 cuś Smiley
348  Economy / Economics / Re: How long can you endure? on: September 28, 2019, 07:55:11 AM
people who already have principles will hold until they feel that the time to sell them has arrived.
I would add, that those people with some persistence and so called principles, will and in my opinion should, hodl forever.
With inescapable crisis on the horizon, this may prove itself as the only sane solution.
Most of people forgot what sort of game we are playing here. As a reminder: it's a game o bitcoins not fiats.
Goal is and always was, to make the world bow to bitcoin. Global adoption and one world currency. If it's not going to be bitcoin than world bank will force us with some crap of their own. So I choose btc instead.
349  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial crisis 2.0 - What will happen to bitcoin in the next crisis? on: September 27, 2019, 04:57:54 PM
Nations don't habitually overprint currency?
I'm 100% in agreement with you and your conclusion on the matter.
However M2 is not the actual money printing schematic, it is mostly money created through debt.
As I said, they take it on credit from each other and you must know that FED has no other way to introduce money (M1-cash) in to economy than making a public debt. Printing itself is like 0.8%[?] of all the assets. Printing is not a problem, fractional reserve is.
350  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: September 27, 2019, 02:34:01 PM
Can you post a list of participants (just userIDs is enough)? If you do, I'll get you some stats on them.
I guess you could use this list posted minutes ago by suchmoon.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5133809.msg52573465#msg52573465
There is no such thing as to many stats Smiley but it will probably be outdated pretty fast as this campaign is gaining.
My czy "oni"?

353  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial crisis 2.0 - What will happen to bitcoin in the next crisis? on: September 27, 2019, 08:08:11 AM
[snip]To compound this problem, all nations are overprinting fiat currency in an effort to over-compensate...
The problem is that they don't actually. Printing is usually mechanism that is leading to destabilisation of any given fiat, most central banks have in their status, that they will protect stability of a coin they govern. Law usually is set this way, so that central simply cant print in to oblivion. The thing that they do is much, much worse. They borrow. Borrow from each other at the expense of future generations. Effect is of course exactly the same, just like you described but stable, slow and semi-predicable.
Politics of acceptance for the inflation is based on a false premise, they (the bankers of today) where taught for their entire schooling, that deflationary currency is bad for the macroeconomy. 100 years ago, nobody was aware of services driven economics. It was all about industry but times has changed. Today we spend most on services not physical goods and that's why deflation proves itself quite useful because people are addicted to those services. They cant imagine life without them, so they pay despite their money gaining in value, system spins the same way, if not faster. Bitcoin proves this.
In my opinion crypto will retain it's position as safe-haven during the upcoming crisis, it will be the best store of value.
354  Other / Meta / Re: And the yobit.net campaign is back on: September 26, 2019, 09:58:10 PM
So.. you are saying that getting into a signature campaign is based on luck ?
Of course not, it was an euphemism. However I don't know DarkStar's way, go as him if you wonder what is his decision processes.
I'm not defending anything, just stating some facts. They do provide some shady options, that's for sure but nobody is forcing people to be greedy and foolish. They have never cheated me, I have never seen proof they stole from others.
This is some serious groundhog day stuff Grin
Smiley True that. I'm already certain on how it's going to end... just hoping naively. And yet, I'm not claiming it isn't spammy. It obviously depends on people that participate, you just have to admit that sizing all people with one measure will lead inevitably to harm.
Total ban will be a form of collective punishment, social justice, manifestation of communism at it's purest form.
Forum already has means for dealing with flood or spam, no need for final solutions - those don't work anyway.
355  Other / Meta / Re: And the yobit.net campaign is back on: September 26, 2019, 09:16:55 PM
How can they be so moronic, this it probably the fourth time they try with this spam-storm requirements. I bearly reach 20 posts per week they are requiring 20 per day. I'll guess I'll be busy reporting the next few days.
They do not require 20 post per day, it is a maximum they will pay for.
Minimum requirement appears to be 1 post per 60 days. Still all that bad?
It's easy for you to say that is all spam and shit posts, because you ware selected for the most prestigious campaign around.
Now think for a second about those who were a bit less lucky. Please stop being condescending and judgemental, just because its fine to hate one of the last truly free and anonymous exchanges. On the other hand, real spam or rather burst and flood should definitely get reported...

357  Other / Meta / Re: Special badge for signature campaign managers? on: September 17, 2019, 03:12:03 PM
I'd rather see badges for members who've ranked up under the merit system--that was the last suggestion I saw, and it's a real achievement.
Yeap, definitely an achievement worthy of at least one fancy bitcointalk coin Smiley
And what's your opinion on my idea from post #9? Everybody seem to have missed this "solution".

You're looking for a solution for something that is completely irrelevant...
Agreed, its a first world problem. No pressure though, I'm just throwing ideas.
358  Local / Polski / Re: [SONDA] ✅ WYBORY PARLAMENTARNE 2019 ✅ on: September 17, 2019, 11:36:48 AM
No jest to ciekawe, prawda?
359  Other / Meta / Re: Special badge for signature campaign managers? on: September 17, 2019, 10:56:14 AM
And unfortunately I don't also have a good idea what could be done...
Thanks for the input. I think I got it, thanks to you guys cause you kept me thinking.
The answer could be freedom, as always Smiley
A check box before new topic in services, that makes your username red green or whatever, just different.
And one extra, unofficial rule "posing as a manager, without campaign to pilot may get you banned/red flagged/is forbidden"
This would of course mean that switching managers during the camp. would require entire new topic.
360  Other / Meta / Re: Special badge for signature campaign managers? on: September 17, 2019, 10:30:25 AM
After all, we all know who are the best campaign managers...
OK, so your point is that the best solution is no solution at all? I totally get it. Why fix things that ain't broken, right?
Now here comes my "but":
OMG, you are also wearing this avatar.. now I really have to look for who is posting..
Everything tends to homogenise itself. That's even a law in physics.
One, best signature for all the best posters, most popular / meaningful / whatever, avatar on most accounts etc.
I think we really need some form of unambiguous, visual indicator. One more extra line of personal text maybe?
