3422  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Crypto Exchange and Anti Money Laundering Question on: May 28, 2020, 05:26:41 PM
It would be nice to know the name of the exchange, that way we could help you better.

First of all, when you use a new exchange verify it's listed under:

https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

That's a nice reference, and if the business is a scam, the site will tag it. And another nice reference that site gives to us is the capital of the exchange, i would not recommend to use an exchange who was a low capita.

The second step is to google the name of the exchange followed with the word 'Scam', that way you will find if it has any scam accusation.

Think it two times before giving all your info online, it could be used to open accounts in real exchanges, and there you will be involved in a real case of money laundering.
3423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinas attack on all coins - next chapter on: May 27, 2020, 01:19:16 PM
Chinese government is synonymous to an oppressive regime that gives no place to privacy. Though the digital yuan is a move against privacy but it's a revolutionizing advancement in e-commerce. The world is certainly going to be divided into two economic blocks as the trade cold war intensifies, digital yuan would be an advance weapon for China against US block.

I agree tsaroz, this new china coin is a centralized project from the government to have control over the people involved in this crypto world. Sad but true.

I think Venezuela was the first country doing this, they launch petro, but to get the core you have to fill a form in a gov page. So, is not an option for people who doesn't live in that country.
3424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think shops should accept bitcoin? on: May 27, 2020, 01:13:27 PM
Bitcoin price goes up and down all the time. If someone buys something costing 10$, the next day it may cost less or more. So it's a risk for the seller.

You mention the main risk about accepting coins, if the coin drops 30% then all your prices will drop that percent. And is a not cool loss at all.

Some people think it's possible if the value of the things is based in dollars and paid in bitcoins, but the only way to make this with low risk is by selling the btc at the moment you get the payment... But even if we do that and the price goes up after we sell then it will represent a loss.
3426  Other / Off-topic / Re: where are you spending your time now? on: May 27, 2020, 12:52:17 PM
The home office gotme really bussy, i have multiple jobs now and all of them can be done from home, so, i wake up to work, then keep working all day, then some work before sleep and that's how i'm rolling on this quarantine.

I would like to spend some time in music and games, but is almost impossible with all this work.
3427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Spend Bitcoin? on: May 27, 2020, 12:45:10 PM
I feel like the best way to spend bitcoins in this quarantine is gambling and trading, those two actions will get us stoked to monitor and with the right luck we can walk away with some money in the hands.

But if we want to spend it in some real things, we can use Open Bazar. That's the right place to buy and sell things.

The house edge is 1.76% but users can earn achievements gaining cashback. There are achievements for talking in chat, number of bets made, length of time you have an account, and wagering total. Wagering can get you 1% of your wagered amount when certain levels are reached.

To see these levels and more, make an account on luckybit and check out your profile.

Nice, usually achievements are just to show off Smiley

Today Di3el gets the 1,000,000 bets achievement, if i'm not wrong he is the first user who gets that one. So, congrats and let's see who will be the next one who unlocks all those nice prizes!

Dejo algunas fuentes:

A lot of users on this forum asks us to join their telegram groups, or to add them on skype, discord, etc... But I think lot of people close deals only using a thread and the PM features on this forum.

So, let's see how many of us have closed deals only using the forum tools.

this fantastic project such as Bitcoin Clashic

The fantastic project is bitcoin, BCHC is just a low-quality clone, just a fail idea, there is nothing good or fantastic on this project. Anyone can make a fork from Bitcoin, but if the fork doesn't come with something new, then why people should use it?
3434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of social media channels on: May 26, 2020, 03:38:47 PM
I think they understand the importance, but when you are planning an exit scam is a bad idea to make a big promotion. That only will makes the scammer more traceable.

You will always see a good social media campaigns for coins who are not planed as a scam.
3435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miners are happy, while we suffer? on: May 26, 2020, 03:33:58 PM
Miners don-t make real money from fees, even whit this 6.25btc blocks more than 90% of the income still coming from the block reward. So, if they earn the double amount or the triple will not make a big difference.

Miners can't be happy, the halving represents a big loss for them.

3437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first visit to Bitcoin. Share your fast visit price on: May 26, 2020, 03:01:33 AM
When i see for firs time the bitcoin price, that was in 2014, and it was around $600, then it drops to $350... wasn't looking good at all, but after that, he starts claiming and now it just doesn't want to come down from the moon, lol.
3438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop calling it DICE. on: May 26, 2020, 02:54:33 AM
When you flip a coin you have only 2 options, that give you 50% the chance to win the bet. But if you want to move that chance you will have to use something like a dice, there you can bet on only one facer with 16.65% chance to with but a bigger multiplier, i think Dice was inspired in that idea.
3439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: May 26, 2020, 02:20:37 AM
I agree with you. Any person needs to learn to make sober decisions, not succumbing to the emotions and opinions of other people. Because it is only your money and only you are responsible for it.

True is in each person to learn by their way to avoid the scams, but sadly in this learning process people keep losing money. This kind of scam schemas should be teachers to kids in school to avoid them in the future.
3440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 25, 2020, 09:20:17 PM
...
I expect to see great main event Woodley vs Burns,
and Antonina Shevchenko in women flyweight can be interesting to see.

Woodley should be easy money, the last times i bet on this fighter it brings some nice profit, so, let's see what he has for us on this event.

Is awesome to see how UFC moves on even with the big problem we are having right now around the world. Nice move from Dana White
