3441  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: October 02, 2017, 12:06:07 PM
For trading is not a educated guessing its a skill that is something that we all don't have, trading is easy to say but its not easy to become a good trader.
It is not about he education my mate if you are having the skills you will be able to increase your money and you will guide the people about the use of the bitcoin. The currency of the bitcoin will make the high place in the market and it will be very good for the people who are good at the skills of the trading the investing bitcoin is all about the time having so if you are patient enough to hold your bitcoin for the long time then it is good for us to invest in bitcoin.

sorry, but i didn't get what you meant by that as you contradict things in your post because in the first place you won't get your skills if you haven't educating yourself about it

And a skill is something to be harnessed so educating or gaining knowledge to be more precise is a permanent process. Even a natural born trading skilled person has to educate

Himself, although i haven't seen or heard one.
3442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: October 02, 2017, 10:46:03 AM
so much regret for me for example just when buying a high price and sell it at a low price and I once worked on the project but the payment is always pending and after paid the price fell Sad

this should be easy to solve. if the price fell when you got paid then just wait for it to rise again, look at the charts when it falls it comes back again and sometimes with a higher

price. i say this a lot but stop selling at a price lower than your bought price. i think your source of mistake is you lack the knowledge and control of your emotions. there is no

easy money you also have to invest time and effort not just your money. you just have to research, if you gain knowledge, you gain confidence in your decisions as you will

based it on that.
3443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Coming War Between Digital Currencies on: October 02, 2017, 10:13:27 AM
Not really expecting that but its a possibility so lets assume that they'd created their own cryptocurrency which is centralized i assume. what are the odds of it overpowering

bitcoin? or even having a close competition to it? of course they will make lots of advertisement of it now people will be divided to two 1). people who are interested to use 2).

people who can't comprehend how to use. As the people who are interested dwell deeper on the governments cryptocoin, it is inevitable to know bitcoin and soon they will realize

that its better so bitcoins users will just increase. i'm kinda confident tho that if ever it happens bitcoin will retains its place besides governments cryptocoin is not mandatory

right? because if its is then they plan to use it to be a primary money which is impossible unless they provide a free internet for the whole people.
3444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: October 02, 2017, 08:43:37 AM
Bitcoin has been proclaimed dead 89 times. It has been labeled a Ponzi scheme and a failed experiment. Writers have argued for it to be forgotten and for developers to move on to greener pastures. But moving beyond this rhetoric, it’s not all that difficult to compare the rise of bitcoin to that of another technology: the World Wide Web. http://blockgeeks.com/questions/what-is-your-future-predictions-of-bitcoin/#comment-604
Yes, I agree that bitcoin might be the future money. Lots of times it has been proclaimed dead but bitcoins stays alive until now. That could only probe that bitcoin is unstoppable as what Bill Gates said. Developers of bitcoin will surely not give up to improve and make bitcoin live more than our lifetime!:)

i don't really see that governments will allow a decentralized money as a primary one-- i mean we're talking about future of money here so its not enough for bitcoin to just be an

alternative payment system. if its decentralized, it can't be controlled thats why it will be a difficult for governments to accept bitcoin as a primary. don't get me wrong but

centralized has its own advantages, one of it is to fix market failures but the situation today shows how governments fails on this. there are still many problems that needs to be

solved so seeing our future with bitcoin today is vague
3445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: October 01, 2017, 10:42:56 PM
Nope, the reply has been posted by a lot of users too, but bitcoin can not be replaced in just matter of days or even months. It has been the first cryptocurrency and it can not be replaced, what would happen to the other cryptos if bitcoin dissappears? everybody would be panicking, and the market would go to zero, it is incredible, but it might happen if bitcoin dissapears, or if it just gets replaced.

I bet this thread is asking if it can be replaced regardless of time meaning it can be whenever e.g. after 20years although with its current situation right now i also think that a

month is not possible. even if its the first cryptocurrency that doesn't guarantee that it will always triump among all of them so the possibility is always there. i really doubt that

bitcoin will disappear although its value might fall to cents if this happens then some cryptocurrency officially claimed the kings spot or worst cryptocoins might not be a thing

anymore.
3446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Become A Bitcoin Expert on: September 28, 2017, 06:51:43 PM
All you have to do is read and experience some parts of it. for starters there are many guides and articles all over the internet you should start with that and yes its free.

after that you should gradually intake a little deeper knowledge compared to the previous one assuming you've already mastered it. the biggest hurdle for starters is to fully

understand the whitepaper itself i guess although mastering it doesn't make you one already as time already passed by many thing changed and added so becoming updated is

also a must. My advice in your journey is to take your time as this thing doesn't come to you in an instant.
3447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 28, 2017, 05:19:10 PM
If its with the regular job then i want it to be the usual one not bitcoin because as we all know it is very volatile, after observing the markets this long i think my the total income

has a high chance of decreasing its value that maintaining or raising it in short we might at the loss side if this happens. not to mention the tax how are we going to pay it? this is

considered impossible unless your government fully supports bitcoin as of now japan is the closer to it although it won't happen soon as they are currently testing bitcoin in their

society.
3448  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: freebitco.in "Browser Mining" - is it worth it? on: September 25, 2017, 11:30:23 PM
That's a joke guys, how can one make profit from the browser mining? By the way the browser is just way of attracting you on the site and they are just using it to enter into your computer. For a software miner, the connection to the pool would be directly through the software. In this case browser must be linking the CPU cores to pool for solving the math and all the stuff we know about it.

But as far as I know the CPU won't be powerful enough to solve the blocks or any portion of it to give us pretty good reward from it. The rate of earning will never catch up the break even and as everyone here is talented enough to know that this will burn the CPU in a day or two. Better need to work out the math.

That part i highlighted is incorrect. I'm sure that freebitco.in is not trying to harm anyone's computer in any way but is rather just providing an option for new users to get some satoshis to play around with on their site.

However, i agree with all your other points.

This browser mining is not going to even make you a dollar a week if you just have an average computer. It's not worth your time, and it'll probably slow down and overheat your computer.

yah as long as you don't install suspicious apps or malware you're good to go. from what i can see this browser mining only need browser and javascript so it can't harm your

pc although mining is a cpu intensive task so expect some downgrade on your pc's/laptop's performance. i also don't think its worth to constantly overheat your device for a

small amount. if you guys really want to do mining there are specifically for mining rigs out there. moreover its kinda suspicious since they won't be getting anything from this,

free service basically.
3449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: September 25, 2017, 11:00:05 PM
Yes you can't 100% predict what will happend weekly/monthly it may go high or go low but people know how to get a stable income by just trading.
although we can not predict exactly for 1 month but we get a stable income. there are currently no other jobs that can ensure we earn money. at least we can get income that may be in accordance with expectations, trading is a safe job in my opinion. do not take too long holding the coin, the most important is when the price goes up then I will sell the coin that I have. do not expect too much because we better get a little profit than wait too long. I apply this in every action I do and I am grateful to get very good results to make my family happy.

I agree one point in trading we don't become greedy and we don't make any big expectation. for suppose if you are expecting to make minimum 50% profit in one attempt then you may have to wait for a week or a month or more not sure you can make it in short time. But if you put a limit for your expectation for example 10% or more this could be possible in short time. Like this you have to trade and increase your capital.

Cause they expect to much they may have some failed on it i agree with your opinion i think too that the reason why they fail cause all here know that trading is a unpredictable job even your a good trader there comes a time that you have made some wrong decision just because of expecting too much on it.
They are not failing they are learning because after many tries there are a success so i would like to say that they should need to see there previous mistakes to learn and make there mistakes there strong points.

That is so true. You should have this kind of mindset from the very beginning you just started trading - your main mindset should be you either win or learn. Make it a way to learn in every trade you do and never stop learning this will make you, even more, better cryptocurrency trader.
As a trader it wont really be an easy journey since you would really meet along the way lots of trial and error this is why some people would lose their hope and courage to go further on engaging into trading which they do easily give up but some people would really stand up no matter what.Losing money is just really part of learning process some cant already handle the cost of losing funds on them this is why they decide to stop.
All job in crypto currency world were stable, it will become unpredictable if the value of bitcoin was fluctuate in the market so past. Therefore facing of currency in crypto society were move up down up down so it's hard to the traders to predict the future value of bitcoin and altcoins. I suggest to hold all crypto and be patience to wait before sell it.

Not all jobs are stable, a big example for that is trading as you won't be receiving a fixed amount of income because it depends on how you do. you might get higher than

usual or lower than usual. There is always a great fluctuation of price between crytocurrencies particularly altcoins so its normal, if you want to make a closer to accurate

prediction observing the market and being updated to the news is a better option. well all traders wait for the price to rise, i haven't heard of a guy who sold right after selling.
3450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do buyers have hand in the bitcoin value decline in China? on: September 25, 2017, 07:14:35 PM
Everytime bitcoins price crashes, some guys thinks its bad and will start panicking. come one price crash is not always bad in fact it'll be a good time to buy since there is a high

chance of bitcoins price spiking somewhere between december or january next year. I mean if youre here for so long you've been experinced this thing when every year ends and

another one starts. China? yes probably since they are considered whales but they are not the only one so even if we stay here discussing, in the end we can't determine it, we

can just factor things. Just observe the market and look for patternsan and take advantage of the situation
3451  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: September 25, 2017, 05:33:19 PM
Everything back to someone, if he wants to be creative of course can take advantage of bitcoin to earn income. the presence of bitcoin proved to provide great benefits, so it can reduce unemployment.
Yes of course anybody who can use bitcoin in their lives can earn money online from their homes. Bitcoin is the easiest way of making money just using the internet and laptop or computer. A agree to the topic that bitcoin reduces unemployment and the example is myself.

I am not doing any job outside. I just use two things from my home and earning more than an average job salary.
Yes, people who are jobless but hold some of the bitcoins then they can earn money due to investment and joining bitcoin forum. Yes these are the two ways to earn money from bitcoin. Bitcoin holders do not have any problem of unemployment. He can earn even more than the employed people in his community. Because jobholders have limited income and bitcoiners earn unlimited.

Its not easy as that its still depends on what you can do. if you're aiming to freelance through bitcoin, you should have an in demand skill such as graphic design/programming,

most jobs include works through pc. Posting here is not enough for a living unless you're only supporting yourself but at some point in life you will also think of your peers by that

time i'm sure you'll struggle as you need a decent income. Having a stable job offline wouldn't hurt and if you're just posting here anyways. why don't you just do them at the

same time? Posting isn't much of a hard work since we have a week limit, most of us
3452  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: September 25, 2017, 12:07:49 PM
If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
Of course i will going to sell it and convert it on cash. It doesnt matter how much bitcoin is, what matter for me is the thing i bought such as house or even a lot. This thing is very important because it was a unforgettable gift from the very good friend of mine.

Have you properly checked how much a house cost? You will be receiving 1 bitcoin only, even todays price will not even let you buy a house nor lot. no matter how you say price

doesn't matter it doesn't change the fact that it matters as it is how much the value of bitcoin. i don't think your friend will mind if you keep it for years until the price blossoms or

even make it as a capital of something. it just shows how grateful you are because you're not letting the chance he gave you to improve your life
3453  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you in the Christmas spirit? on: September 25, 2017, 11:09:58 AM
So this thread is near to be 1 year old already and again holiday season is coming and Christmas is the most awaited season every year. People get more money during holidays so for sure it will make the price of bitcoin pump again and I've seen a couple of times and last year is a good one because the pump started at the very end of year. And hoping that this year it will be also the same and will be pumping quicker.

After the recent downtrend of bitcoin price and it seems not finished yet, maybe around Christmas time this year then we will see again the spike of bitcoin price and many people will join in again for the ride which would make the price shoot up. Many people have extra money during Christmas and end of the year because of bonuses and the likes that's why some use it to buy bitcoin thus an increase in demand.

I hope that what happen from previous years during Christmas time would still be the same this year. Many are positive about it and as long as there will be no bad news that can affect the price then it would be a nice feeling to end the year with a bang.

I'm waiting for that yearly now because there is a big spike that's been happening every Christmas season. And for sure many of the buy backers are also waiting for the right time to see first the price of bitcoin at a very low rate before getting in again. Those past incidents during Christmas are the most awaited month of each year because the price are very reasonable with it's increase and it's suddenly happening.
Christmas is a happy season where we can buy our desire things and treat our family because we already received the bonuses and gifts from our company. This season can give a big effect in the market were there are many people buying bitcoin for their future and can increase the price of bitcoin.
In the side of the christian people. That is not the real meaning of christmas, it is not about the money, it is not about the gifts or the bonus that you will get from your company. It is about the celebration of the birth of God who is Jesus Christ and they are celebrating the christmas to be thankful for him for saving the lives of millions and millions of christian people.

But still you can't deny that almost all people are getting ready to receive and give gifts that is why this speculation that bitcoins price will spike high will undeniably make

every bitcoin user happy. we get their enthusiasm about celebrating jesus's birth but a celebration really calls for some foods, drinks and gifts moreover people these days are

materialistic. most of my relatives are christian and from my point of view they are more excited about gifts and foods lol.
3454  Economy / Economics / Re: China's influence on bitcoin is becoming insignificant. on: September 24, 2017, 10:18:41 PM
It's impossible for China to significantly influence bitcoin. The only thing they can do is to spread FUD and 'ban' things to stimulate people to sell their bitcoins.

Demands sways the market and china have a high trading volume not to mention, lots of miners are also there so why shouldn't it make

a significant influence on bitcoin? Don't forget that whales are still powerful. Just to be clear this doesn't mean that they can control

bitcoin completely where most fake news states e.g. china is ending bitcoin etc. because they are not the only whales or users rather.

I think that this banning stuff is inevitable because we all know that most governments is strictly monitoring bitcoin in short they are

not fond of it so sooner or later a time like this will come.its not always good times you know
3455  Economy / Economics / Re: IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY OF A PRICE REDUCTION FOR FUTURE BITCOIN on: September 24, 2017, 07:35:55 PM
There will be always a possibility of that. bitcoin is great but its not as magical as some guys think. its not pure postive thing it has its flaws. having said that in my opinion.

Success is still the most likely event for bitcoin. In the past there was a huge crash when the mt. gox and silicon valley incident that took years for bitcoin to recover--back to its

rising price. but that was when bitcoin was still new and many people had doubts but only a few believed. its different now that it has established strong connections to users

particularly the big shots. so if you're asking if we should have second thoughts about investing on bitcoin, you should ask yourself instead if you want to support it because if

people continues to support it i'm sure nothing could go wrong.
3456  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: September 24, 2017, 05:44:00 PM
I called around some stores to see if they accept BTC, no one has even heard of it except like 0.1% of people.  Wait till people actually find out this exists...

Of clurse even if bitcoin is more rampant now than before there are still a considerable amount of people that doesnt know or who still doesnt realize what the power of bitcoin can do to their lives and in their business. Most people are now hust starting and its up to us to further it.
There are reasons why some people would continue to ignore Bitcoin:

1.  some people just don't want to put their faith one more time on another internet money after all they have heard or experienced;

2. Bitcoin and the technology behind it, is knowledge based and that already is a barrier for many;

3. infrastructure and communication devices are elusive and a luxury in some part of the globe.

You have a point but rather than that i think its more of lack of knowledge and awareness of it. majority of people in this world don't even know that it exist just like the op

describes. how can they ignore something they don't even know. in my country people who have heard bitcoin but doesn't care lacks knowledge about it because if you talk to them

and ask what do you know about bitcoin and have you considered using it? i'm sure they will said a lot of misconceptions about bitcoin just like what always happens to me when i

talk about bitcoin to my peers.
3457  Economy / Economics / Re: dropping value on: September 24, 2017, 04:24:36 PM
I'm in a panic now, I am in a state of panic buying now. This feeling is the same as what I felt before August 1st, I'm too excited, but don't have enough money to buy more bitcoin. Do not convert your bitcoin to your local currency, just hold your bitcoin and relax according to our senior here.
I think the reason for dropping the value of any currency like bitcoin is the interest of the people. If the people do not take interest in bitcoin the demand reduces and the mining may be very rare, so the value will naturally drop.

And as you mentioned that the belief of the people is also a reason for the dropping value of bitcoin. They may afraid of the unsecure and easily hackable system of bitcoin.

Possible since interest might be a potential demand but i do not think that it is the main reason for the recent price fall of bitcoin. in my opinion this matter have something to do

with China banning ico's and ordering some exchanges to close. yes interest plays a big part but if we have no means of buying/spending it will certainly make a significant

change. the other reason might be the price correction. if you're not familiar with the markets patterns you might wanna search it as it looks like it's rising slowly, bitcoin is
3458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China playing a game :D on: September 23, 2017, 11:43:26 AM
Chinese users are only a fraction of bitcoin users, are they important? Yes, but the community can survive without China. Last time I checked they control less than twelve percent of bitcoins traded.
they still have an impact to make some shake because there are many people still new to this industry, so every moment that they do some action those newcomers and weak holders are reacting thinking that the value is controlled by china not thinking that whales are also just around and waiting for them
to sell their cheap coins.

yah don't forget that whales have the ability to move the market and china itself is a whale so there will be always a significant impact. although in my opinion this crackdown is not

enough to bring an end to bitcoin, yes the price will crash but i'tll surely go back to its higher price. just to be clear china didn't completely ban bitcoin and altcoins but there is a

severe measures to discouraged users such as banning ico's and ordering some exchanges to close
3459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers are active these days. on: September 23, 2017, 10:54:18 AM
Hackers have always been active. The most common way of being a hacker's victim is the user's fault. Often fake website, phishing emails and social engineering. When using the internet, be aware. Scan your pc regularly and don't click og sketchy links. Especially don't download sketchy software. If you really need to, use a virtual machine.
actually a hackers is couldn't crash, break or stole a blockchain technology because it is very complicated systems which should need solving perplex algorithm. so the only one way / risk we could hack is a mistake of security of wallet or human error like phising or influence malware on our dekstop unconditionally.
to avoid that matter we should aware of everything which has risk to got hacked.

Thats true blockchain itself proved all these years its immunity on hackers but that is a fact for now in the end you never know. Always be aware thatmost of them are always

looking for opportunity in other words a flaw in a certain system and yes its often causes by human error/s although in cryto industry its not just the users wallet but the

exchanges/gambling site can also be hacked. bottomline is you should know where you put your money at
3460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Taxi on: September 23, 2017, 01:20:39 AM
Using bitcoin in taxi is not a good idea, why? Tx fees anf tx time, bitcoin transfer fee are way too high the faster yoy want it to be confirmed to more expensive its fees are, But there are other option, Litecoin, Xrp, XLM, &any other fasr and cheap tx coin can be used by taxi's or UBER & other transportation vehicles as an alternative payment

Well maybe this thing should be resolve first before it can be implemented.
Or it can be sync or use our local wallets so the transaction is not too long yet the fee will be zero or just a little.
If this will happen, it'll be a great and more convenient to all bitcoin enthusiasts.
If it will be applied, there are more things they need to foresee first, thus the delays in transaction wont affect the schedule of the taxi and the passenger are they willing to wait or not, as well as the amount or price since the price of btc were not stable and changes from time to time that may cause their lose sometimes.

But tha fare rate should be stable whether the bitcoin price change. It shouldn't be affected by the fluctuation like the drivers shouldn't lose their income.
This should be analyze first by the company that will run as this is another milestone for bitcoin.

No worries just use your local currency for conversion, lets use USD for example and the fare is $1, there should be a real time converter where you can be able to see how

much is $1 in bitcoin. then again another problem rises because you need an internet connection with this. This idea is not impossible but to be honest, there are way too

possible problems to be encountered. maybe if things got better with bitcoin and in bitcoin. right now the small payments are not encouraged so we should focus on the larger

ones rather.
