~snip~
You continue to make unfounded accusations. It's just your speculation, which have no basis. I have to ask you to stop doing that.

Oh wow, at this point, I really can't decide if you're doing an evasion by going offensive or you really don't understand my point here. Anyway, let's go slowly. Start from here:

There are lots of project attempting scam by saying they're working with some public figure for the sake of further convincing investor-wannabe on pretense that they're real because of the said public figure's involvement. As precautions, of course it is advisable to do background check on team's profile, lest the project do the trick.

One of the simplest method is of course by contacting the said public figure through channel they establish themselves, to ensure that the confirmation is indeed coming from the said public figure and not from fake account registered to the scam project team as their own precautions. If, the person is indeed working with them, they can simply confirm it and everything is clear, we can rule out fake-team-member from the list.

Question 1: you understand the concept up to this point, right? This... speculation with no basis?

If yes, let's proceed, your website informed us that your team are consisted of the talented people, one of them is Ms. Ivana Brecek

But, as I can't find any link provided by you to verify if she's really involved with you, I do myself a favor by doing my own quick search of linkedin profile, which leads me to this

Question 2: Is the Ivana Brecek you refer on your site is the same person as the one owning the LinkedIn profile?

I don't think the answer will be NO, given the similarities of the face and the employment history; that is, as a head of esport platform// gNation product owner. Nonetheless, it's better asked to clarify.

Now, if the answer is yes, and because I can't find your project on her history, I decide to manually confirm through the email address she state on the profile (as I highlighted in yellow)

The goal is easy, as I previously state several posts back as well as earlier of this post, but if it's too hard for you to understand the concept (given your repetitive suggestion that there's something "wrong" and "no basis" with my question) allow me to re-break it down, if the real Ms. Brecek, as in the living person, is indeed on your team as per your statement, then she can just simply log in to her email and give me the confirmation I need, which of course will directly tie her to the project and we can look for her if something wrong goes with this project. But, if that done, at least we can cross a concern that your team is not really consist of real person. Unfortunatelly, we're stuck on this step because, as you can see, my email from 5 days ago are still not addressed. Either she didn't know your project so she decide to ignore the email --in other words, anyone is rightfully entitled to ask the legitimacy of your project, given you use a wrong credential-- or... perhaps she simply didn't have time to open her email? But I thought you said you're exchanging email with her?

So, question number 3: Can you please ask Ms. Brecek to spare one to two minutes to give a quick reply to my email?. If she do, I will absolutely delighted and re-post her answer here. Not that I endorse your project or giving any support at all, but it is perhaps an evidence that investors (whoever they will be) needed.

This leads us to question number 4:, just to clarify and clear everything, in case she happens to be really on your team, do you or do you not consulting with Ms. Brecek before answering my previous question? Because if you do, then I would imagine she will say "oh yeah, there's someone asking confirmation, but I haven't got any time to reply yet" which will leads us to frown upon how you addressed my posts here. If you don't though, then it will leads us to frown upon how you, as the community manager and public relation of the project, decide to answer questions without confirming the truth.
3462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: MobileGO (MGO) token official announcements on: April 08, 2019, 03:57:23 PM
Given that you're conveniently missed my post, and Ms. Brecek somehow also reluctant to reply my email, which I will fully understand the reluctance if she feels she has no obligation or knowledge to confirm being on team in question, am i rightfully entitled to start doubting her involvement on the team?
Don't know who you're talking about exactly but there is Ivana Brecek in our team. And if you look above a litle bit you can see that she took part in a poll. For this reason, we did not answer, as after this post the issue was supposed to disappear by itself. We also published an interview with Ivana https://medium.com/@mobilegoofficial/the-interview-with-the-product-owner-of-the-competitive-platform-the-project-that-can-increase-b91e85588429 .
In addition, the question itself is wrong. And your claims are unfounded. Her response or not response says nothing. But I would like to add that I communicate with her by email and Telegram.

Hmm? Am I contacting the wrong Brecek, then? I didn't find her linkedin profile on your web, so I did a due dilligence by googling Ivana Brecek and Esport as the keyword, which redirect me here --which I also didn't find MobileGO on Ms. Brecek's employment, by the way-- her bio description matched the profile described, so I assume this is the same person you addressed as part of your team. Thus, I emailed her with the address she provided.

Second, how does the claim unfounded? Are you trying to say that I actually didn't contact her or that my email is not arrived on her inbox, then? Are you sure? Because if it is, for the sake of confirming if the real Brecek is truly on your team, I am more than willing to resend, which then she can confirm, which then tell us if she's really with you or not.

Third, how does her response (or no response) says nothing? Quite the contrary, my email asked if she could confirm that she's indeed on the team. Her response will inform us if you're legitimately contracted her as your team or you just use her name without her knowledge. We all know such MO is quite common on today's scam projects, so one can't be too careful, can they?

If you would be so kind to ask Ms. Brecek to reply my confirmation email, I'll really appreciate that, I sent it to the email address she listed for public few days ago. It was nothing, a mere quick research to see if the real Ivana Brecek is really on the team. If she is, then she has the access to reply to the email. Thank you, really appreciate it.
3465  Other / New forum software / Invitation Feature to Fight Against Spam Accounts on: April 04, 2019, 05:10:19 PM
Since Merit feature being introduced, I think there are a lot of improvements on better part of the forum community's overall posts, but IMO, it is not necessarily effective against spam accounts. There are lots of ICO projects suddenly flooded with "wow, what a nice project, will follow!" posts made by newbies with date-jumping post history, posted at every several minutes that serve as an bumping accounts. I tried to look for some examples to give a better understanding, but I can't give a good ones. Nevertheless, I think most of us know what kind of posts I mean.

Without any intention to blame anyone, I think the situation are caused by a rather simple steps to create new account. The bumping and spam accounts can roam freely knowing that if one of their alts being banned, they only need minutes to create a new ones. Even with IP restriction policy, where if someone signing up from a known abusive IP, there are ways to bypass the restrictions.

I had an idea, what if we introduce a way to sign up via invitation code?

It works much like membership on private torrent site where new members will have to have an invitation code to register. This registration code(s) can only be given by existing members in reflect to their rank (and in a way, by merit, as merit are required to raise rank) or by DT or mods, like

  • Full member has 2 invitation code
  • Senior member has 3 invitation code (and so on)
  • DT has 5 invitation code
  • Mods... well, in my concept, Mods are giving "invitation Giveaway" on certain events (again, much like those private torrent)

Or maybe there will be this special group like Merit-Source where they have steady flow of invitation code?

The idea is: if the registration is rather difficult, it will possibly contribute on minimizing creation of new accounts and account abuse.

To complicate thing, suppose such idea above is applicable, I think a system where we can track who registered with whose invitation code will greatly helps, as it means the existing members need to be carefully giving their code because it can be tracked back to them. Means, if Sergey00-Smiley who invited by Holydarkness do an abuse or scamming members, it is not impossible that Holydarkness will bear a consequence of his action, maybe he'll get a red trust for inviting a scammers? Or get a banning together with Servey00-Smiley?

The bad side, it might encourage irresponsible members to sell their invitation code, but if it was tied to their membership and traceable, with the dire consequence ahead if the one buy their code do an abuse they will also get consequences, I think most will reconsider before selling. And oh, also, it will greatly decrease the number of new members on this forum (which, essentially destroy the concept of open forum), but given the outcome, and the idea where Invitation-Source and Mods can give invitation(s) to those they deemed fit... I'd like to know what other think about this.

p.s.: apology if similar idea already proposed once, kindly point it to me and I'll delete this one. I can't find any, though. Also, will move to respective board if I post on the wrong board, this is the first time I use this board.

Umm... My question? Thank you? I believe it's very hard to find my last question and understandably missable, I mean, it's just one post above yours, which happens to be the last post you'll see before you do that announcement, so certainly you can easily missed it.

Sorry for delay with answer.
Guess you drive the conversation to the idea that our project is missing some important factors to be more successful.
Well, may be you are right and we lack experience with this. However, we are always ready to learn from more experienced Hero member here.
Will highly appreciate your kind sharing the improvement ideas!

Well, you get me wrong there. I'm not suggesting that your project lack of important factors, I'm stating. Kinda obvious and I simply vocalizing it out. Yet, I thought might be wrong, maybe you've got something hidden in your sleeve. I assume that as the developer of the project, you know and have considered certain plans for it, given that it is a rather crucial and important factor, like... one of the main aim. Hence, I asked.

But, it appear to me that you don't know either? You're not sure how'll this token be monetized?

Mate,
everything is quite simple
There is the idea - those who support it, can do it by having free tokens via simple bounty or @ livecoin exchange and hold it. Those who disagree may just pass by or sell out the tokens if they are already in it.

if such simple approach is not for you - no problems, you have your own free will to choose among many what is beneficial for you.

True, in one essence, one can just follow a simple rule of "take it or leave it", but this is business we're talking about here, or a business-wannabe, and it's kinda important to know the facts before someone can "take" it or decide to "leave" by lack of interest. And one of thr fact needs to be laid down is about how to maintain the value of your token? Certainly little to no one interested on holding tokens that's merely work as a pump and dump... or maybe just dump, judging from the last 7 days of your trading history. Thus, the question.

Thank you for the reply, if you don't mind me asking further, let's say your project goes big in the future and a lot of people interested to be router owner, I assume you'll have a policy on how close each router will be? Like, I think it will be rather a waste if someone next to his neighbor both being a host, which would share a relatively same wifi range?

Hello holydarkness,

StacksRouter would just be an add-on which anyone could simply plug onto their existing router/modem. The internet speed from each WIFI provider would be different. When StacksRouter becomes wide-spread within a region, multiple connections may become available to WIFI users. There’ll be a difference in the stability and bandwidth of each WIFI provider. The one capable of providing higher quality service would attract more users, and advertisers are more likely to post their advertisement on the WIFI that attracts more traffic.

The areas with overload of traffic would attract more router providers and places with more supply in free WIFI would discourage additional WIFI owners to register to the platform. In short, we would like StacksCity’s platform to be a natural reflection of supply and demand of the market.

The competition will motivate WIFI providers to maintain a higher level of quality and stability of their internet connection, which will eventually benefit the WIFI user, creating a healthy ecosystem for the advertisers as well.

Does this mean  if a large number of connections to the Wi-Fi point  were are a decrease in the speed ?

2.Who will control the content of the advertisement and how? Will the user be able to disable and block adult content of the advertisement such as parental lock?

I would also add a little about decrease in speed, although for a different matter, does the wifi owner has control over limiting bandwitch of each connected device? Suppose someone use the wifi to download files with downloader such as Internet Download Manager (she's a badass), what'll happen to other participants' speed?

Wow, a really quiet thread. I wonder if it's because of the concept behind the project. On we go, I'd like to know first whyndo you "have" to use blockchain just to facilitate multiplayer gaming? Yeah, blockchain is nice, but it doesn't necessarily means we need to move everything to blockchain, not when the comventinal way still adequate to satisfy community needs.
We have just created a new BTT thread so maybe that is why it is so quiet so far. Speaking about blockchain technology for multiplayer gaming. It can help to avoid expenses of provisions that credit card providers are taking, same as online payment platforms and have lowest prices for our users. Besides our new technology (a smart contract) allows the performance of credible transactions without third parties.

How low is it? Not a gamer myself, so I am not really updated, but if I remember correctly, DOGE was rather popular for gaming community due to it's relatively fast transactions and low fee? Ripple? Stellar lumens? My point, if aiming for fast and low cost aspect of blockchain, why bother creating a new token and not utilizing what's there?

We want people to have choice and control in how they store, access, and share their content and data.

We didn’t say a “breakthrough” but it is unique and our patents show that. One of the key differentiators is how we unify a users' device ecosystem and create single points of access to your storage ecosystem without reliance on the cloud. This is our TackApp.

~snip~

I find this rather interesting, and interested to know more. How does it works, unifying devices without cloud service? Will it be via WLAN? Amd what'll be the implications? Is it possible for, let's say because of one device that's rather weak, all of the other devices will be vulnerable and possibly breached through it?

Hmm... Filled with insubstantial posts with characteristics of bumping service. I personally would tag projects who uses such service as questionable and would thread carefully upon it. Legit project will not needing such service, and of course dev can deny using such service, but what logical explanation will be for sudden interest of newbies in one day? Posting shitty posts all over the thread?
3474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Masternode] AXEL Masternode PRE-SALE is on now! on: March 30, 2019, 08:45:03 PM
I don't get the concept of your project, I take that it aims to establish a secure data transfer by utilizing blockchain? Like... you facilitate me to send files or images or things like that to my coworker and/or simply to my friend? And it'll be guaranteed hack-proof?

it is also not clear how are they going to implement their objectives here. how are they going to return the data custody to users? i just hope this is not another masternode project trying to milk those masternode buyers and presenting an innovative concept that in reality, is hard to execute because they can't get sufficient number of users on board.

Thanks for the feedback. Our company has always been about data custody and giving users greater control over their data. In fact we built our patented technology on that principle with our TackApp and Multi-factor authentication. However, our aim was to continue to develop and adopt new technologies to ensure that there could be custody and control with accessibility and portability. People want to get and move their data and we want to help them manage that process.

We are now utilizing blockchain technology to help secure a distributed and decentralized network to further move away from centralized control of data while still making it work for the user with many of the benefits they see now. Our process has always been evolutionary to work towards ultimate data custody for users whether it be consumer or business. In fact, we’ve devised our proprietary SOAP process to Secure, Organize, Authenticate, and Protect data.  We’re using the Masternodes to secure the network and we’re opening them up to the public and partners because we want community participation.

We could operate all the nodes ourselves, but we want to ensure decentralization.

And we know how to get users in our ecosystem. If you read the white paper you’ll see we already have products with 7-figure user adoption across our 7 applications including mobile, desktop, and web. More products will come powered by blockchain and IPFS.

A bit unclear here, wasn't such "breakthrough" already existed for a while? Like, a KYC service that fully automated and encrypted, then stored in bits thats scattered randomly that no human could ever see a single word contained on the form? How is yours different than the existing competitior?
3475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - HealthyLife Token - [HeLi] on: March 29, 2019, 04:14:49 PM
To be honest, campaigning for vaccination is a noble cause, but I don’t see how it can be monetized? And this is the main task of the projects that are here.

When there is good idea supported by many there is good chance to establsh huge community.
Big commnunity will really improve the pricing and attract more traders both to trading the coin and promotion of the compaign.

Anyway, we are brainstorming on the 'sweet pies' for most active....

It still doesn't answer how could it be monetized, or in my words: what's the benefit for holding your token? Suppose you give tokens for people as reward for sharing articles --this is another interesting topic I'd like to highlight later-- what factors will give value to the tokens?

Where is the Whitepaper of Blockwage?
Have the team finished the Whitepaper for Blockwage before its launch?
Investors don't interest in projects that start without WhitePapers.

I need more details from the Blockwage's roadmap.
Thank you.

Whitepaper is coming Q3 2019.
What details would you like?

How do you even make an ANN of a project that has no white paper, website or team?
Why the hurry?
These are the things that make a project look serious and not worthy of investors' money and time.

I understand what you are saying and we may have jumped the gun we are just excited to start community building!

Q3? Wow! We are still on Q1, what'll you utilize to amuse and appeal people of your project while they don't have any materials to read and gauge?

I also see on the roadmap that you'll have exchange prior to the WP? I always thought it was a bit reversed?
3478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - HealthyLife Token - [HeLi] on: March 28, 2019, 01:56:21 PM
Here is a summarized answer to similar questions above here:

The main goal of HELI token is to promote and popularize the vaccination. It seems some old and almost forgotten deseases are "ressurecting" in even highly developed countries.
It happens because of many anti-scientific posts via social networks and mass media.

Cryptocurrency is quite popular now, even being in some passive phase now. So why not attract attention to the issue via this society?
We are starting with scietifically-based articles collection that prove importance of vaccination and the related danger of anti-vaccination tendency around the world that is observed now.

For this we have initiated a simple bounty project - to find and publish the related articles.

Originally, we thought of more complicated bounty, for instance, go and do vaccine injection....let's say from measles... provide picture, get awarded.
However, it seemed too complicated at initial stage of development. May be later.

So, what we want is: MAKE PROVEN APPROACH OF VACCIANTION PRIMARY AGAIN, before a disaster breaks out!
We don't want to rest aside, waiting for shit to happen and then say... 'Oops, we didn't expect it so serious'

We are sure there is enough volume of required vaccines in the world....what society lacks now is only DESIRE, which can araise from common fight back to the anti-scientific "noise" in media.

So you'll reward people for sharing articles? Okay then. What benefits will they have for collecting the token? Will these payment (HeLi) exchangeable to other crypto or fiat? Or will it have other benefits like free vaccination for entire life? Free hospital bills? anything?
3479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - HealthyLife Token - [HeLi] on: March 27, 2019, 09:38:32 PM
As two people already asked the same thing I wanted to ask here --what's the purpose of your token--, I'll dare myself to guess; That your token will helps distribute vaccine decentralizedly for every side of countries, even the remote ones, and with decentralization, now anyone can get vaccine transparently! Voila!

Nearest clinic has this feature, you know?

I'm not a tech geek, so I am rather unfamiliar with this topic, but one thing that crossed my mind upon reading this project is privacy. Is there a policy for the router owner in regards to users' privacy? I didn't know much, but if I remember correctly, certain things are visible to whoever has access to the router, and certain malicious things can be done by those who have the access to those who access the router.

And by the way, just as a side note, your brief presentation (pitch deck) is not that . . . . . brief.

Hello holydarkness,

First of all, we really appreciate your time for reading through our pitch deck. We'll prepare a One-Pager in the future to meet the standard of being "Brief".  Grin

To answer your question, all router owners will undergo a KYC before being listed as an accessible WIFI hotspot in the public. Any chosen location for router deployment is a result of our analysis and review. Even in the future, after a year at least, when we have an automatic distribution and approval system, it would still be programmed to meet the necessary KYC standard.

Secondly, in the blockchain, no WIFI user’s information is stored on the router as it’s not required. The user’s information entered on WIFI login page is hosted on Stacks server, where we could encrypt user information and then decode it when information reaches Stacks server via the router.

At last, our tech team is considering schemes based on AI and neural network to classify and detect malicious attacks which are common in this sort of connections such as man in the middle and eavesdropping, further details on how we approach security concerns and protect user’s privacy will be discussed and shared through our official blog on medium in the near future. I could let you know once it's published so you could read more on this topic.

Thank you again for your interest and attention. Sorry about the delay in response, please email us at contact@stackscity.com if you have more questions.

Best regards.

Thank you for the reply, if you don't mind me asking further, let's say your project goes big in the future and a lot of people interested to be router owner, I assume you'll have a policy on how close each router will be?
