So, a short story before we begin, I was playing around Quickswap, a fork of Uniswap that runs on Polygon Chain, because a project I currently investigating was on it. It leads me to a Telegram group that poses as their official account, which --I believe-- their sole purpose is to lead the visitor to their phising site.

I am not an admin of Quickswap, or related to them, this thread was made to warn clueless users and members from a trap of a phising site on a telegram impersonating them.

If you type "quickswap official" on the telegram search bar instead from a search engine like google, you'll get a result as below.



Their telegram will looks quite legit, with a lot of members commenting and actively chatting, bot admin, a "chief admin", they even has a nice "star" on their name to strengthen their official-ness. But, if you look closer, you'll notive that those members has to be a bumping accounts or bots or fake users, given most were a "deleted account" or account without username, and if you scroll way back into their earliest date, you'll see that they only began to "talk" recently.



Anyway, let's say you're looking for their tg group because your transaction got stuck or you're facing some problem in swapping on their platform, stumbled upon this channel and you believe this is their legit channel, so you followed suggesstion of their bot because they said you have to try these steps first prior to PMing an admin --which, the admin himself is also a scammer.

And that's it. You know what'll hapen next if you submit your private key into thier site. As the rule of thumb suggest: NEVER, ever ever ever, give your Private Key to anyone.

tl;dr: There is a fake Quickswap telegram channel which leads to a phising site. Quickswap official Telegram Account is @QuickSwapDEX, as informed in one of their tweet back in July which also acknowledged there are channels impersonating them:

And you do that... why? This is exactly what I'm asking, what's the strategic thinking behind the decision of the donation? I could imagine that in order to convince them to invest in your project, they'll need to know what's the impact of their investment would bring to the environment? What, where, and how efficient is the goal of the project they invested their money on to the conservation. And so far, all we know is, your project will donate to WHO-backed organization with tons of huge foundations on their donator list.

So how exactly the donation you give will brings a further positive impact to the said field? Why not allocating them to a more needing organization and non-governmental conservations? Why and what make you decide that OIE is the best option that fits your project's vision? I am certain you have give these points a thorough thought, suppose that you're really serious with the project, of course.

On the other hand, I could understand if you haven't give them a proper thought or the barest thought at all, that you just pick them randomly because you think it'll looks good and noble and would attract people because you actually couldn't give a shit about this project other than the fund you'll rug pull from clueless investors. If this is the case though, I'll advise people to think twice before they do any.

I have a feeling that your major selling point --aside from the now-it's-getting-old hold to earn-- is this 'charity" act. So why OIE? A short reading tell me that their goal is to fight epizootic --for those interested, it's the equals to our epidemic in animal's world. If you're concerned with animal's wellbeing, there are certainly a lot more field that needs attention and funding. If your concern is wildlife wellbeing, wolf specifically, there are several wolf conservatives who certainly need more attention than a organization  which job is specifically --arguably "merely"-- to fight animal pandemic which, further, backed and funded by WHO.

Dogs in shelters around the world will still put to sleep when OIE prevented the second outbreak of parvo. Or if we want to limit the cases to your token's theme, wolves in small and near bankrupt zoos are still in hungers while OIE do their job. And for the love of god, please point me out an article or statement which say OIE is in a dire need of funding or whatever thing that gives you an idea that contributing 5% of your total reserve will brings a significant welbeing to wolves, or wildlife,,or any other animals.

An interesting topic, really, as it's been brought numerous times by many people from different projects and sides, and I've given myself a lot of time to think about this. I have to say, I'm somewhat agree that some token and coin is a ponzi, but it doesn't mean every coin is.

In ponzi, it's guaranteed that the earlier participants gets the benefit while the last person suffers the damage. In investments, where price fluctuates, the first person holding a token doesn't translates they're guaranteed a profit. Projects go ATL with price under the initial price, and people who "join" during this period could reap benefits than people who joined earlier at a higher price.

Now, keeping the ponzi topic aside for a while, as you keep insisting that you held a reputation, please inform us, what achievement do all of your projects achieve for the last three and a half years?

I failed to see how and why the "variant" of the token I'm talking about and quoted matters. Just like your ponzi, what matters and proven by the quoted texts is not whether your "experiments" failed or not, it's about your post history and the intentions behind it.

Tell me, why is it so crucial for you to have a team of few people before you can reveal yourself? What's the difference between unveiling yourself now with later on when --or if-- you get a team.of three? You can always make the other 2 reveal themselves later upon joining you. If revealing yourself now rather than later would eradicate the worries of your community, and if you really honest, clean, and serious wirh the project, wouldn't it be a very cheap price worth paying for?

True that your previous project has been around for about three and a half years, but that doesn't instantly translates as a clean reputation, because no reputation doesn't necessarily equal to clean. Your last "serious" discussion was with TimeTeller around two years ago, and from that point forward the thread were mostly just attended by you bumping your own thread,. Users above me asked for team details, not a team quantity. Their point is on the annonimity, not the numbers of people behind it. If you feel one-manned team is enough, then by all means please proceed to reveal yourself as the sole dev. Quin, can you please attend to this issue raised by this user and give your side of story as well as confirming if his claim of "contacting 10 times" is true.

Ok, ok. Several things were unclear for me, please help clarify.

1. You've been around this forum for three years, since 2018, not a tech savvy, and yet didn't know how to use the forum and "barely made it here"? After all these years? And yet again, although you didn't know how to use the forum, a non tech savvy that's barely made it here, you fluently know how to create a thread? Are you sure you didn't mean you just bought this account from someone or you just made this post to bad-mouthing freebitco?



2. Assuming you're truly not a tech savvy, the worst tech savvy ever that needed to read a guide just to turn on his pc, it's still would only need zero tech ability to understand that you'll get a better chance they'll respond to you faster on their thread, which we can be very sure you know its existence as your last activity on this thread was one year ago, on October 2020, posting on freebitco's thread. You'll get a better chance there, because they're there, checking the thread every now and then, compared to this whole board which they'll probably only check once a month or never, and when they --let's assume-- want to have fun and randomly visit this board, an accusation thread addressed to them can be easily drowned by other thread. But you didn't seems to bother posting there first, or at least inform them that you've made an accusation against them so they can come here to defend themselves.

3. Last year, on your last post, you made it clear you hated this faucet site, and yet you encouraged your mom to put her money on that site you swore people were "just burn cash". Another concern that raised in my mind --as written on the lowest part of my post-- is a probability that someone thought there's nothing to lose in trying, they thought they'll just bail if something went wrong, so they signed up to check further, not fully realizing that they've surrendered their email and password to the scammers, which made all of their other accounts prone to a breach.


In my case, yes, they send a PM through telegram. It's not that difficult to get cryptocommunity's tg username these days.

First of all, I think this fraudulence method won't fool anyone... or shouldn't. But given no warning seems to be made on this forum yet, and with current ETH uprising and --a rather unrelated topic-- I saw one or two newbie somehow managed to get scammed by someone whose account clearly flagged, I think it's better safe than sorry. So...

To anyone receiving a message from Tellor Crypto stating that you got 5 ETH to celebrate their launch and attract new users... yeah, if some things are just too good to be true, it probably is.

And apparently, the code worked, it'll reward your account with 5 eth, and then come the (non)fun part, you'll be required to deposit 0.1 eth to "verify your account" according to EU law dated 15th of May, 2018, which for some reason, they feel the need to put a timer on the deposit time --lord almighty knows how long an eth transfer could take-- as well as hiding the address



Now, if the fact that you somehow got very lucky that you're randomly selected amongst millions of human being to win 5 ETH from an exchange you barely heard of before, the requirement to perform a deposit in order to withdraw itself should have warned you. But, if you insist in doubting the dislegitimacy of this site --because hey, they have a support button and a live member-chat that's very active, I don't think the member-chat themselves are real. Why? I offered them the reward, none responded, so they're probably bot. What real user ignored a free 20,000 USD? Well, not me.



And this is their support, which apparently "online", but never replied although it's still their working hour.

I think, it's very possible that the site act in two ways, one they hope they can taunt you into depositing 0.1 ETH into the account, which I am rather sure you still won't be able to withdraw after depositing, and two, by stealing your email and password, because it is very possible that a user uses the same email address and password on every account they have, so the email and password you use on this site --which they store-- is very likely to be the same with the ones you use on binance, bitcointalk, etc,

Can you advise what should I write on those field? A "yes"? Forum username? Tg username? And does this bounty managed by Hhampuz or they just hired to post the thread?

Is there any further details about this? Allocation and/or requirements, etc.? Tried to look for it on the website but they only have a "form" that I'm not sure what to fill them with, and looking for info on their tg told me that it's not started yet, or am I wrong?

I would say the accusation made by the email is not baseless. Upon the small research I did for my previous post for this project, I learned that despite the project called themselves to be a division of "Helios Groups", there were no company registered in HK under such name, "Helios Group, Ltd." yes, but not "Helios Groups", and HK --just like many other countries-- forbid companies to have similar names. So I dig further and learned that their parent company is actually registered under "Helios Wealth Management (HK), Ltd.", which matched with the name of the scammer company stated by the email-er.

Suppose Cancu would post the evidence on scam section, I will quote for the images. Or, if they prefer the other way, they can forward me the email and (upon reviewing the email) I'll post an accusation thread on their behalf.
