Come on Dev, I can see you're online, and you still didn't answer questions asked here. Hiring bumping service and abandoning the ann thread, were you giving up trying? Can I start a scam accusation thread to warn investors of the risk dealing with you now?
2762  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GLG Global Lottery Gaming - Beware of Scam on: November 19, 2020, 09:21:39 PM
The dev deleted their second ann thread (I posted a scam warning on that thread too, just archived the page before the post, thus it didn't appear on the archived page) and created a third one, probably to evade the scam warning instead of answering to this page. In concern that they'll just keep re-creating new thread to bury the scam warning, I believe a flag should be raised.

SCAM ALERT

There is a scam accusation raised against this user and their project https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5288255.0

Dev, feel free to answer and defend yourself on the said thread
2764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 💎💎💎 Lattice Bounty | LTX | DAG | Airdrop | 100k $USD 💎💎💎 on: November 19, 2020, 08:31:10 PM
The answer is right on your post, they're moving from manual transfer one by one address at a time to a batch transfer that can clear more addresses at a time.
It is not manually, criptix said that they found automatic solution:
The good:
The team found a way to automate the DAG distribution and when we start tommorow (around noon PST) it will be done very quickly!!! Wink

Uhh yeah, I believe that's what I said, bolded for convenience
2765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 💎💎💎 Lattice Bounty | LTX | DAG | Airdrop | 100k $USD 💎💎💎 on: November 19, 2020, 10:28:49 AM
Can the BM explain what is the reason of delays of DAG payment, because we assume that the payment will be held on Nov 18 but today is November 19, of course we know that the transfer is doing manually but we need an estimate date when it will finish.

The answer is right on your post, they're moving from manual transfer one by one address at a time to a batch transfer that can clear more addresses at a time.
2766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DEFI] ⚡️ Octopus Option⚡️ Decentralized derivatives on-chain on: November 18, 2020, 04:18:56 PM
I updated my F6s , lauren updated her LinkedIn .... do you really want us to update all our social network ? To be honest my facebook still shows my student job  Wink

We aren’t doing an ICO so what we put on our social networks I would say is our personal life.
We target at this stage institutional investors, ventures, private investors to joint our financing round.
They know how to do their KYC, we never had any issues so far.

I can see that Ms. Mceachern has updated and listed octopus on her Linkedin,  I think that'll sufficient to assure cryptocommunity that your team members were indeed the real person and not just stealing their identity. One can't be too careful in crypto world. And no, I don't think we'll need your facebook, f6s and linkedin is enough. LOL, I don't think I even have my facebook updated since... I'm still in school.
2767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DEFI] ⚡️ Octopus Option⚡️ Decentralized derivatives on-chain on: November 18, 2020, 05:19:10 AM
Thank you for your question, it's always healthy that someone check the team:

I personally stopped to update my LinkedIn for personal reason (mainly privacy) i was personally awarded with "the 30 under 30 quantitative analyst of the year" for my paper about blockchain interaction with clearing houses, and i don't mention it on my social network...  however, feel free to contact each of us on any social platform to confirm we work on it.

I assume that the underlying question is: are we a real project ? Yes we are, we created DeepBlack.io all together (btw only Lauren mention it on her LinkedIn) it’s a NFT smart-contract which received more than 5000 transactions without a flaw. We don't mention it neither on our social network, whereas the project was launched one year ago and still work.

We are in the process of finalising our first round with private investors for OctopusOption after several in-person meeting and lawyers contacts, if someone is interested to invest we can of course give references of these investors, meet in person in London or online.

At this stage we target private investors, who know how to do their KYC, in the case we have to make a public ICO we keep your suggestion to keep our social network more up to date.

Well no, the underlying question is whether they're really on your project or you just stole their name. Emailing each one of them crossed my mind, but since you assured me about the situation and that they're really your team, wouldn't it be simpler to ask them to update their employment to add Octopus? Took mere minutes.
2768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Payday Coin (PDAY) on: November 17, 2020, 06:01:01 PM
Chain reset in progress...

You see, umm... with four years passing for "upcoming features" and it still not coming yet, we can agree that you're most likely not going anywhere. Unless you can tell us what'd you do these past years, or at least the "new version" you've worked on since last year?
2769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DEFI] ⚡️ Octopus Option⚡️ Decentralized derivatives on-chain on: November 17, 2020, 05:54:50 PM
A quick search of three of your only team members current employment didn't say anything associating them with your project, Octopus. Why is that? A quick google their name and your project also came with no result, like they never mentioned anything about your project on any of their social/professional media. Why is that?
2770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AFREUM] Afreum combines international DeFI with Africa Transactions; Yiel on: November 16, 2020, 05:28:20 PM
Our focus is on building innovative crypto applications that foster digital inclusion, remove friction, and incentivize participation. In the next few weeks we launch the Afreum Wallet and all will be clear. Things like subsidized transaction fees, low interest rate micro loans, online job opportunities for Africa's youth or anyone with a mobile phone, financial education etc. etc. Akoin and Afreum are both built on Stellar. I think our focus on the unbanked, and our ability to innovate in the space, is the main difference. Both approaches are needed. I am not a mega entertainment star but I have been in the Internet space since 1995, and launched some forward-thinking companies, and I am African. Stay tuned!

That's what I wanted to know: what is your competitive advantage against them? You both runs on the same country, same concept, same feature, etc. So far they have a city and a well known face as their advantage, although their ann thread somehow didn't reflect this popularity as it was very quiet. Nonetheless, how will you compete against them?
2771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AFREUM] Afreum combines international DeFI with Africa Transactions; Yiel on: November 15, 2020, 03:50:34 PM
Yeah, we know about Akoin and wish them continued success. Our approaches are different. They are building a city, we are building an ecosystem of apps to support crypto transactions across Africa. Both these approaches are good for Africa, and good for the crypto community at large.

It's built for two sets of people. For international users It's a staking and yield farming platform. African users will mostly use the apps for daily transactions such as transfers, payments, remittances, savings, loans etc. Afreum is for everyone, really depends on yoyr use case.

This is what I wanted to hear. You do aware about the existence of another coin, endorsed and created by a well known public figure, with same (if not better, since they build their very own city in harmony with the coin) feature?

Can you divulge more on how different you are? They build a city, true, but that doesn't necessarily means the token can only be used on the city, the token also works worldwide as far as I know, for remmitance as well as other crypto basics

Oh, it was your own medium? LOL, my apology, I thought it was a press media covered by some third party, like cointelegraph or something. Next, I understand correctly that your project was focused and built for Africa and people who lives on the continent?
2774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢[ANN][PRESALE] Base Protocol: HOLD ONE TOKEN - HOLD ALL TOKENS | [BASE] 🚀🚀 on: November 14, 2020, 03:08:30 AM
So Dev, your thread were flooded with spam from bumping service, and you were online few days ago but didn't bother to answer my question, how is this suppose to encourage investing in you?
I don't think he will answer anymore) it's easier to launch bots and pretend that people are interested in it. I don't know who will lead to such a pitiful sight. The project's reputation after this is simply negative.

Yeah, in their defense, it was due to the failed project they had and they've do the best responsible possible by refunding at a higher price than market, although it's still lower than ICO. I came with full intention to give them benefits of the doubt, but it seems there's nothing to be benefitted from the doubt
2775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AFREUM] Afreum combines international DeFI with Africa Transactions; Yiel on: November 13, 2020, 06:05:20 PM
So, like I'm saying on the other thread of yours, allow me to move them here for everybody's consumption, which you confirmed were a press release, which media was it?

This is a press release. Sorry if posted on the wrong thread. As I said, new to Bitcointalk. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

First of all, I'll assume and act like this is your official ANN, so I'll give my questions on this thread and not the other two that you also have.

With that being said, what I wanted to know first is, were this article-like post really coming from an article, or was it just your... rather strange... style to attract people's interest? If it's the former, where is the source of the article, if it's the later... simply why? I can't even put myself to read all of them.

Can anyone access their website? I want to learn more about this project, but I can't access them due to timed out connection. Isitdown says they're accessible, though. Without their site... well, there's literally nothing to learn from

The website is accessible. Perhaps test its on another browser.

Well yes, it works now. Probably my internet were experiencing hiccup. Anyway  checking your site, I'd like to know about DAM and FLUX, and how they're related with your project. You're not the samw dev of those projects and this is not your child project, is it?
2778  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GLG Global Lottery Gaming - Beware of Scam on: November 12, 2020, 05:43:34 AM
They deleted the old ann and created a new one. Website was back, although it undergoes a total makeover and now literally shows no info in it other than they'll... bring more info. archive
2779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Yfi.bio, DeFi earning made easy on: November 12, 2020, 05:09:06 AM
Hi upon checking the contents of your website, I noticed that you have the same exact layout and information as YFIM.MOBI. I really hope to hear from you soon so you could explain the striking similarities on the project. Kindly check the reference below, thanks!

REFERENCE:

Do we have an ann thread for YFIM or an official timeline when they first started their project? Maybe unrelated, but those opening were also used in another YFI-letter project, this one is YFIQ, although they seemed to be dead now. How reputable is YFIM? Can't find their ann thread, I'd like to learn about them.

Edit: oh, nvm, they're scam too https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5276879.0
