3561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever paid more than $700/BTC for any amount of Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2016, 04:34:58 PM
I am pretty sure I have already spent about ~$700 worth of bitcoins but that's the collective amount I have spent.
I am not sure if I will be able to do a single transaction that's worth over $700 just yet since it is about a little less than what I currently have.
3562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the only trusted cryptocurrency on: July 20, 2016, 04:29:11 PM
Bitcoin is byfar the most superior among all the crypto coins since bitcoin is far ahead in advancements.
It also already has been adopted and integrated by major companies such as Microsoft, Samsung, Steam, and many others.
This only proves the fact that bitcoin is yet the best and only trusted crypto.
3563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: July 20, 2016, 03:25:38 PM
i think why people hate bitcoin because of scam .. because if ur loss ur money or bitcoin u will hate bitcoin because bitcoin is money not a  toy
I think it's because folks don't understand bitcoin that's what makes them hate it? folks can lose/get scammed in fiat too, doesn't that make them hate fiat?

No, i dont think so. What will they use if they start to hate it. They will hate the person who scammed them or the company that person is in too. That is a 100 percent. Different with bitcoin right? Just because bitcoin is not the regular currency.
I get what you mean. It's different with bitcoins since this is something that they probably do not have any idea about and are somewhat afraid of, which adds to the effect of hating it.
Another probable reason is because media has always been very well at reporting negative impacts/issues about bitcoins such as crimes done with bitcoins.
3564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 20, 2016, 02:27:02 PM
Gambling can wreck your life when you put everything at stake and all is busted otherwise loosing some bucks can make you frustrate but can not have huge effect on your life. Gambling fixes life I don't believe this can happen as it is just disastrous soon you are going to give all winnings back if you win some jackpot too.

Gambling is designed just for that, it is not made for fixing anyone's life, it is made for those people who has a lot of money and it won't bother them at all even if they lose thousands of dollars in gambling, it is not concept made for those who has a limited amount of money and wants to have more with it.
Gambling is just an entertainment so it would not fix your life, we should look it that way to be safe as the moment we will focus in gambling it will take a huge part on our life and we cannot live without gambling and we know that those who live in gambling will also die on it.
Yes, how an entertainment activity can fix our life. But people overestimate gambling as a profitable entertainment to get their life fixed through gambling. Because most of people wants to lead their life in a fun filled way. That is the reason they want to get a living from gambling. But pathetically their life becomes an entertainment (lesson) to others.
3565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: July 20, 2016, 02:06:23 PM
What kind of question is this? Do you think girls can't do what boys do? It's either stupid and sexist question. Girls can do everything what other people do. It's not about race, citizenship, religion, language or gender.
But in my country, the religion and cultural things are playing main role to differentiate the gender. A boy can easily go for casino house to gamble whereas the girl should never be able to. Still, online gambling is free from any of these restrictions. But I am also having doubt how girls are sticking with their traditional restrictions especially for gambling.
3566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 20, 2016, 01:06:29 PM
gambling is one of the many entertainments that were designed for rich people and in reality they are the ones that can really enjoy gambling because they have so much more money and can make riskier moves and have a lot more fun doing it. so yes i would still gamble if i were rich.
I agree gambling is one of the costly entertainment made for the rich people alone. But when you are having other entertainment which are practically more funny compared to gambling why you are still going for gambling that is still so expensive.
In my perspective a rich man will understand in time about gambling entertainments and after that time he will stop going for it as he becomes considerably poor due to gambling.
3567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 20, 2016, 12:50:23 PM
Pakistan has some plus advantages over England in bowling which played vital role in its victory in 1st test match. I think next test match will be drawn as England will come with some good strategy this time. West Indies vs India they both teams are equal and anything can be expected in their match.
No chances for draw in second test match between Pakistan vs England. My predictions over this series would be: England will be wining this series 3-1. Yes, we should not forget England is the Current Ashes champion and how they humiliated Australia in that series. My prediction is based on Pakistan's batting order too.

For West Indies vs India series, it is too hard to make a call. Still West Indies are favorite as India is always a weak when ever they play away from their home.
3568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good idea to buy bitcoins now? on: July 20, 2016, 10:21:28 AM
I was wondering if it was a good idea to buy Bitcoins now considering that there are only 42 days left until Bitcoin block reward is halving.
what do you guys think? Smiley

Even now after the halving is not a bad idea to buy bitcoins because we havent seen yet the halving effect, we need some time to wait and I am very optimistic that bitcoin price will reach $1k soon.

ya really not so bad to buy right now, because there is no effect of halving. but perhaps as halving earlier that the effects will be felt a few months later. but this time the price really very stable, it may be better to wait because it could fall if the price keeps stable.

Price can crash any time sice the price hasn't increased yet, but recently the price is stable, normally bitcoin has it ups and downs but it has been a long time since i havent seen this stability.
If you have knowledge about bitcoin and trade with it then you will now that if after halving the price did not crashed and remained stable then it will now never crash and will have a good future as people did not throw it to the market and remained in support with it.
3569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: July 20, 2016, 09:22:55 AM
Trading with good analysis, speculation or good experience is partially trading, but trading with pure luck or no experience is pure gambling
Then what is "complete" trading?
But I agree, when you are allowing your luck to play a role in your trading then your trading will change into the mode of gambling. But most of the time, the highly volatile commodity trading are simply equavalent into gambling. Because most of the traders are going only with the 50% of their skill and experience and for the remaining they are depending on their luck.
3570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs Betting on: July 20, 2016, 08:15:24 AM
I think you are wrong when written this topic, gambling is same with betting. it's another word that spoken and have the same meaning and significance.

I think by betting the OP means the sport betting, he want to know about sports betting and about gambling, but still both are the same the only difference is that one is based on luck and the other on skills.
Many people are believing sports betting does require only skill to make your profits from it. But in my experience with the sports betting also you must need to be very much lucky to crack your profits. Without being lucky no gamblers would be able to make profits from their gambling nor sports betting.
3571  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: July 20, 2016, 07:32:45 AM
i like in bitcoins is you can buy anything you want in internet using bitcoins and deliver it to your home and easy to earn with it just staying at your computer  Grin
Buy anything and deliver it in your area? Wow, never knew that bitcoin is part of that. All I knew is bitcoin can be use easily and with quick transaction. How can you do that "buy anything" and deliver it in your area?
I think purse.io are doing it they are selling stuffs from amazon and i think if you buy there you can get and ship to your home but the shipping has payment if you buy more stuffs from them there is a free shipping to your country...
Just buying them it's easy to say, but you need to consider about another problem you can get from buying from foreign. are you never think about the tax goods is originating from abroad? it's important thing you need to consider before buying from foreign
Yes, using bitcoins to buy stuff from a different country is actually one way of avoiding tax, if I am not mistaken.
I have never really bought any stuff from abroad just yet so I do not exactly know how it works.

What I like in bitcoin however is the fact that I can send money to people really fast and with really low fees.
3572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: July 20, 2016, 07:21:42 AM
It can be used for illegal activities because Bitcoin is like a real money and it can be misused in many ways... And it can also be stored as a black money which is also illegal...

Ofcourse it is used by illegal activities. But I think it is normal to use Bitcoin for illegal activities. Nobody can control you and cant see what you bought.
But I think that must stop soon. Banks dont like it either and the government too. But I dont care.
Bitcoin is like a double-edged sword, apparently. It provides freedom from the government because the transactions can not be traced down to exactly who were involved in a transaction, but it provides great opportunity to illegal activities with the same reason.
3573  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: July 15, 2016, 10:04:58 AM
i think if they really want to earn some bitcoins then i would just recommend young people playing flash games that award with small amounts of bitcoins that you could save up for the future
There are some games like this? i have never heard about any, except leet.gg which is site where you play counter strike global offensive, and minecraft ( you can choose )
and every win or game ( i dont really remember ) you get some satoshi.
However servers there are always empty, but i have never played minecraft with leet.gg,for some reason i dont like this game, seems like a waste of time for me.
Anyway probably child can play cs:go but it is  hard to make at least some low amount of satoshi's without deposit and knowledge, lol
If there are no such sites then I think if someone makes such a site then they will earn a lot of money.
May be put many advertisements on the site and hence you get profit from showing advertisements while kids earn by game, don't pay them one bitcoin daily lol, just 10k satoshi should be fine per 6 hours of play Smiley
3574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: July 15, 2016, 09:52:30 AM
Some here play for fun i sometimes play some dice with some extra funds or promotion they give, at some low deposits, soo loosing that or not makes me try it, atleast i play dice at yobit with free coins. But sure i would like to profit from the dice as the bonus at the casinos.
Well that is good idea because with free coins or promotional money you are not worried of loosing money, and if you win that gives you much happiness. I really like this idea because you win but can never loose, can you tell us some sites that offer such promotions with bitcoins ?
3575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: July 15, 2016, 08:31:43 AM
Martingales should only be that profitable if your bankroll is giant compared to your bet. So, either you aren't betting alot, or you have entirely too.much money to be gambling, invest that somewhere with less risk.

As per the original question, bet on binary events. Much easier to predict a game than predict a die roll.

No matter how small your bets are but your your bankroll must be very bigger. Because usually martingale always makes the person with higher bankroll the winner. So, based on this, whoever from you both ( the site owner and you ) has the larger bankroll will win in the long run.
3576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: July 15, 2016, 05:09:52 AM
Yes, it happened to me. Last autumn I decided to finally leave the gambling life. However, it took only a few months (until December) before I started gambling again. I wanted to leave because of the continuous losses. Now I'm back, but I'm not depositing any BTC left. I'll just play with small amounts, like faucets. Stay safe! And don't be greedy Cheesy
I want to say something here, if you can not control yourself and start to gamble again even after some commitments made to yourself then how do you think you will resist betting big out of over ambitious/greedy ?
Please try to develop some strong will to control yourself or else gambling can be very harmful.
3577  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2016, 07:55:55 AM
Yes i have lost with my own fault..i lost in gambling
i think gambling is not a fault. if you lost a bitcoin but your lost is in your limit to bare it then it is ok there nothing wrong in it. i have never lost a single bitcoin in gambling although i have lost so many bits. actually my winning percentage is more than losing percentage. therefore  i can say that i never lost a single bitcoin.
I do not call losses in gambling as lost bitcoins, apart from gambling loss I have just once lost 0.08 BTC which I remember sent to a wrong address, was actually a virus or something where whenever I enter anything it paste a particular address. Rebooted PC and solved though.
3578  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: July 14, 2016, 07:07:00 AM
It's so strange when peolple trust on bullshit like this, one guy said that this year price will drop and when it happen on only $1 he is happy but it's nonsense.

Well, people tend to believe everything that is posted on the Internet regardless if there's a proof or not. They would be like "It's on the Internet, it must be real." These thread and other threads that saying bitcoin will be 1$ or 1,000,000$ is just too unrealistic right now to happen IMO. It might be possible in the future if a major scam or if a major problem is encountered then the price would go real down. The value of bitcoin would go real high if all the nations in the world ditch fiat money and embrace bitcoin.
We will see that in the future as I am very confident that bitcoin will be a big one, bitcoin has all the features that every users are looking for and it has a lot of things to do in our life including investment.
Well, a big crash is not really far off from happening since there is quite a lot of volume in Chinese exchange platforms and as you can see, China is actually somewhat preparing for war and I am just a little bit afraid that it might affect bitcoin. But I have strong faith on bitcoin ecosystem to survive any challenge as we have a strong community.
3579  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: July 14, 2016, 06:50:21 AM
i will cash it out  then this is how am i going to spend it 5% for shopping, 10% for  my vacation  20% for my school tuition fee, 30% for  reinvestment or investment  and the rest will go to my food supply  Grin
Wow, let's see. You're going to spend 35% to your food supply. That's 3.5BTC and assuming that you received the bitcoins now and cashed it out, it's roughly $2,000. That's quite a lot of money for foods!
Well, I wouldn't say that it's a waste though. Food is the sole reason, we are working hard , nothing wrong in spending for it.
3580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: July 13, 2016, 04:45:26 PM
Bitcoin is much more complicated than fiat is.
I think it is the main reason why most people hav not tried bitcoin yet.

It is not that complicated if you are just a currency user. It is just like using a credit card or paypal. It will be complicated if you are a developer or at least a miner, you will have to deal with a lot of technicalities. But for normal user, it is just receive and send bitcoins. And we can just use online wallet.
That is correct using bitcoin is not complicated i think the people who are saying bitcoin is complicated they only make things complicated even it is not.
For me it is very convenient to use sending money, paying bills and receiving money for other users.

Maybe they are just too lazy to learn something new. And bitcoin is quite a new idea to them. They are not willing to embrace something that is new to them. But I think, if people will just give it even a little try, they will appreciate the good things that bitcoin offers to its users.
Actually there are many reasons why people stop using bitcoin. I often know that a person stops using bitcoin is because they are busy with real work so there is no time to use bitcoin again. Perhaps that was the reason that most people say.
I agree some people is getting bored with real jobs, because they must spend a part of their time to went to their office, and a lot of their time is wasted on the things that are not important.
thats true, my job is really boring to be honest and i would really like to work for bitcoins, in my opinion in this way we would attract a lot of people to bitcoins
If you really are bored with your day job, then why not just quit it and pursue going full time with bitcoins? I mean, if you're going to be much happier with bitcoins, then why not. I wouldn't want to work for something that I don't like to do, if I were you.
