361  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Filipino Guide] Ang Bitcointalk Merit System on: July 21, 2018, 11:28:57 PM
By looking at your posts, people will really refuse to give you a Merit. I understand why some members like you are joining bounties because I experienced it before, but you must pay more attention and time in making good contributions in the forum. You just said that the only remaining way to earn Merit is to make your post better, then why don't you try it, I mean you were saying about these things but even you yourself cannot do.

Just an advice buddy, if you want to start receiving Merits, just come up to a unique idea and make a discussion thread about it, if members here become interested in your topic you will definitely earn the most valuable thing in this Forum.

Also, don't let bounty reports ruin your posts history. It's not really looking good.
362  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Wallets (Tagalog) on: July 21, 2018, 12:20:44 PM
Na mababyaran through coins.ph?
As far as I know Trezor can also be purchased here in Philippines. I just searched about Trezor and even Ledger Nano S in Lazada and found some available products. It costs about Php6.000 to Php12.000 but I don't know if it's the original product of Trezor (but I guess it is). The problem is I don't know if Lazada is already accepting payment through Coins.ph.

About the second hand, I do not really recommend buying second hand Trezor unless it's from a person you know and you trust. I'm afraid that you might just end up buying a defective or broken Trezor.
Buying a new Trezor is way much better than second hand, it will just only costs a lot of money.
363  Local / Pilipinas / Re: LOL GARENA na patagong ginagamit ang iyong PC for bitcoin mining. [MUST READ] on: July 21, 2018, 12:08:19 PM
Possible din b yan sa steam? Although I'm not a techy or a software guy, at any case possible ba?
Well, no one can answer that question for now unless someone here provides some evidences that this kind of "taking advantage" is also happening in steam. I just can't believe that Garena did that. I trust Steam a lot more than Garena.

I also heard that even Share It app for pc and mobile devices has phishing (if I'm not mistaken), but I cannot prove this theory. It's just hard to believe that they're taking advantage the popularity of their products nowadays as they think that they will gain more money from doing such things.

Downloading from alternative links are too risky, sometimes although we can get an app for free, the app is already compromised as it's already "Moded" or "reversed engineered".
Yes, as long as the app is capable of running it will surely run and if it's positive that the app is compromised it can also mess up your computer.

I also believed that people out there are not just using games to take advantage to their customers, you know what I mean Smiley
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: RollBurst.com Signature Campaign Only for Sr. Members on: July 21, 2018, 07:36:24 AM
Please understand the logic.  I am here to advertise my product. If i scam people how can i get players for my site?  So there is no chance for scamming here....
These such words has been already said by a lot of scammers before. Your only option in my opinion is to hire a trusted escrow Smiley

And if you won't, this campaign will just run suspiciously. Your choice bud.
~snip
I think there's no need for any specific reason why OP only needs Sr. Members. Any campaign manager can hire any specific rank for their campaign as long as they want, but maybe because they don't have fund to pay higher Members as it's payment will be greater than the Sr. Member rates.

Well, it's clear that OP only needs Sr. Members.
365  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestions to improve bitcointalk.org on: July 20, 2018, 05:33:40 AM
Well, 3,5 and 6 seems like a good idea for me. However, I already tackled the same proposal about number 3 in here where I suggest that a manager should hire a trusted escrow first as a requirement of running a campaign. Although some people agreed, the idea was still ignored.

About number 2, I think it would be a little unfair. Even though a post is not written in English, we should Merit it as long as it is constructive and deserving to receive more than 10 Merits from a single person. Language is not the problem here IMHO.

Just like my posted thread in our local board. It's Tagalog but I believed that it deserved more than 10 Merits IMHO again. But unfortunately, it only got 1, but it doesn't matter anymore. What matters for now is, I hope some of my fellow citizens learned something from it.
What if the escrow then runs off with the funds?
Yeah, this really is a big problem about escrows. That's why it should be only trusted escrows are required like Yahoo62278, LoyceV, actmyname, Lauda and etc. to be hired. What do you think? But it will be a lot of work for sure as there are lot of running campaign.

Lastly, itong Paper wallets.

Astig diba? Tapos offline pa.

So ayun lang. I'm planning to make a thread about Ethereum wallets soon.
By the way thanks for reading.

This thread is "Self Moderated" to avoid unwanted replies Smiley
Good day and Godbless Pinoy.

No. Read the reward structure; it is denominated in stakes per week.
Oh, I see, well then thanks for clearing this. It seems like I made it to earn 14 stakes.
Actually, I would love to continue working with you but I'm really having trouble trading tokens to bitcoin as I'm not too related in trading industry. I will just keep an eye in services if ever that you manage a Signature campaign that pays Bitcoin, I will try my luck to apply immediately if I still don't joined any campaign yet.

Well, again thanks Lauda Smiley

Hi Lauda, I would like to inform you that I'm leaving the campaign now. I'm honored to work with you for the first time and I wish to work with you again in the future Smiley
About the payment, I don't know if I qualified to receive my payment as there's only "7" in week 6 and 7 which is supposed to be "10"(Number of counted posts) in the spreadsheet am I right?

By the way, thanks a lot. Removing signature now.

I'm newbie here.
A Newbie? Or someone with multiple accounts pretending to be a Newbie?  Roll Eyes

I have my unique recommendation, if you want to avoid being permanently banned, I highly recommend you to stop doing what you we're doing in your last 6 post, instead make good contributions to the forum.
Being a Newbie doing bounty business "already" makes me think that you're more likely an Alt account and will only be use for spamming the forum starting now until you get banned.
371  Other / Meta / Re: Many Newbies posting the exact same message, Mod action required on: July 12, 2018, 07:55:28 AM
That's a lot of work LoyceV, well done. Maybe it's time for you to become a Global Moderator? Smiley

Posting these spammers name here one by one just to make any moderator notice it is pretty difficult I guess, if you became a Moderator, you will just punish these spammers directly using your account.

Besides form being a Merit Source, I'm pretty sure that you can fulfil your full responsibility as a moderator. Your hard working should somehow be rewarded.

@theymos, Since two Global moderator became inactive, maybe we should make someone take their place as a successor?
372  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Filipino Guide] Ang Bitcointalk Merit System on: July 08, 2018, 08:09:39 AM
I have been around in this forum for almost half a year now and based on my own observation, most of our compatriots who joined in this forum are teenagers that have not graduated from college yet and there are also who joined here who are factory workers that are high school graduates. I doubt that they will read your post because they don't have that luxury of time to do so. I think with that we as a whole Filipino nation would not improve in terms of posting dahil madadamay kahit na yong mga magagaling nating kababayan.

Just my thought.

Well I totally agree with this, it's true. Some people here even though they're our fellow citizens doesn't care about the quality of posts and only prioritise earning money as they really need it. I understand their situation, I know that it's really difficult for a Filipino to find a job nowadays mostly people that has no education or didn't finish any educational degree (tambay) but the way they earn money here is wrong.

Those are the kind of people that won't even pay any attention to read threads like this, it's sad that although we're already helping them, they're still ignoring the opportunity.
373  Other / Meta / Re: I've just invented dMerits. on: July 08, 2018, 04:34:43 AM
First of all, I also like the idea Sir Jets but like what other members said, we could still find some disadvantages of this idea. But over all I like it.

Few months ago, iasenko created this thread One (1) Merit point to Rank-up Service, READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU APPLY!! and got too many sponsors, lets just think if dMerits is already implemented that time, so that those smerits sponsored by other members wont become half and iasenko can be able to spare much more merits, but of course, if dMerit is already implemented he won't be able to get the 48 Merits in his personal total. What I mean is, this is what the idea all about am I right? To send the exact amount of sMerit to a person without adding it to his/her personal total.

Ps. I missed to give you your 1000th Merit Sad
PD: I've already spared all the merits you provide me, and also founded a great post with no merits, but I'm out.
I sent you 2 Merits which means you have 1 sMerit available now, I hope you can give that post a Merit. I would like to give you more merits but that's all I got for now, I also have some responsibility to find good topics to merit Smiley
By the way, I also gave merit to the thread you were talking about, I can't barely understand spanish but I remember that Google translator will do the job. That Guide deserves more merits in my opinion.

375  Other / Meta / Re: Sub/Child board for Account Issues on: July 07, 2018, 04:56:17 AM
So I totally agree with the idea.
Given the actual state of the forum and the number of banned accounts we can have per day, a dedicated board is becoming to be necessary from my perspective.
Yeah, I also believed that we need a sub/child board for issues like these, I came up to this idea because I noticed that the number of accounts issues are getting larger day by day and I'm afraid that good topics might get covered by these account issues threads.
I believed that this idea will somehow help the forum to look better Smiley

Whatever the admins decide, the state of meta need some solutions as fast as possible, we all are seeing how, step by step, this board can become another spam-fest space.

I agree, looking at the state of meta, we can obviously notice that spams posts as well as spammers are all over the board, it's not impossible that Meta become a spam fest later on if no immediate actions.

Already discussed
if you guys discussed about sub/child board for account issues then I surely missed it

Yeah, I'm sorry pugman but I didn't know that this topic has been discussed before, I used the search function before I posted this topic but I have no luck to find anything.

By the way, by reading how mdayonliner posted his opinions make me thinks that he is the Original Poster. Thanks for defending the idea buddy  Grin
I won't do anything like this if it will only do any harm to the forum. However it's just my idea, it's just my suggestion and It's okay if majority of the votes won't agree with this.

I don't think filling some of these empty boxes with necessary child-board is gonna do any harm. Sure, meta is the board for discussing about the forum. If we can categories the same discussions (when necessity like account hack/lock rise) then won't it be easier to find.

I believed it's harder/difficult  Tongue

I agree on everything.
376  Other / Meta / Re: Sub/Child board for Account Issues on: July 06, 2018, 11:00:59 AM
I think it's not necessary. Hacked and Banned accounts is problem between Mod and users so it would be solved via PM, mail. theymos also had a pinned thread about recovering hacked accounts on this Meta.
You're right about Merit threads but it was the problem of 4 months ago. I don't see to much threads about Merit now.  Another sub board/child board is not necessary and it's heavy work for theymos to apply it.
I got your point. But with this idea, all records/threads of Accounts issues will be compiled in one place which it will be easier to find than checking every pages of Meta just to look for a particular thread. I think there is no problem about the pinned thread as it can be move, right? I know it's a another work but if it's for the improvement of Forum, why not to try it?

Actually you we're right about the bold part of your post. But as a member of this forum, we should somehow help Moderators about this forum's problems as long as we can do something to help them. I know that we can't do anything to unban or recover a hacked account but by giving the banned user advices and helping Moderators to investigate and determine the hacker of the hacked account will somehow help them. So problem like these is not only between Mods and users, as part of the forum's community, it's also our responsibility to help. But consider that, you should only help if you think you can do something to solve the case Smiley

By the way still waiting for more suggestions.

Bonus. It's also a trap for spammers, I'm pretty sure that spammers will also post in the proposed sub/child board about topic that doesn't related in Account Issues, it's because they're not reading or checking where they were posting in short "Spamming". Anyone who post unrelated threads will be banned or something to punish them.
377  Other / Meta / Sub/Child board for Account Issues on: July 06, 2018, 09:16:40 AM
Reports about Hacked accounts and Banned accounts are increasing and I noticed that Meta is getting a little messy, threads about "How to get Merits" by newbies are additional threads which makes Meta looks so messed up and with this idea, this section will be somehow looks clean. I have this idea in mind that maybe it's time to make another sub board/child board here in Meta Section where issues about accounts will be held.

Herr are the pros of my idea:

Pros
1. Meta will somehow become neat.
2. Account issues like hacked or banned will be compiled in one place.
3. It will be easier to find reports about account issues.

I have no Cons yet but you guys can provide if you have something in mind.

Suggestions and Opinions are open Smiley
378  Other / Meta / Re: Account ban appeal on: July 05, 2018, 03:25:19 PM
what should I do to unlock the account?
In order for your account to get unbanned, you need to appeal in the given link. But it will take some time before you get your account back.
I don't know if it's a temporary or permanently ban but if this is the first time your account get banned, then I think it's just temporary.

Edit. By looking at your post history, the reason why your account get banned is too obvious Smiley
379  Other / Meta / Re: Problem for banned accout!! on: July 05, 2018, 09:51:19 AM
Sorry buddy but there's no any consideration left for your account. You've done something that extremely prohibited and you must face it's consequences. Even though you beg, say sorry or kneel while crying nothing will change. It's already done, you are now permanently banned and you're not allowed to make new account. It will be much better if you just stay away from this forum starting now.

25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.[e

380  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion]Solving the spam problem with a "Report Score" for bad rapports. on: July 05, 2018, 09:10:48 AM
Not bad. I certainly like the idea but like one of it's cons which is "More work for the Mods" there is a conflict that they will agree on this. Moderators are having bad times busting spammers everyday and I'm sure that they're pretty busy in other stuffs, I don't think they can still manage to do this task, but who knows? Maybe they can.
How many members are here in the forum and how many reports are  being generated everyday, even old reports are not yet handled. It's just my opinion, and I think Moderators will busier if this idea was implemented. But overall, I like it. I'm just worried about our Mods, they're humans too and they can feel tiredness too.

Actually I have something in mind, but I'm not done yet concluding it.

Less spam and better content, more people will be aware of the rules and follow them
I don't think spammer will learn their lesson even though this idea was implemented. There are already a lot of spammers before Merit System was introduced, and merit system's goal is to somehow lessen spammers. But like what we can see, spammers are still all around the forum and still posting garbages and like before, they are still not following the rules. The Merit system just prevent them from ranking but they're still doing the same bad thing.  I don't think that this "pro" will work, I don't think that they will start to be aware to the forum rules just because of this, but still, I'm looking forward for the implementation of this idea Smiley

Edit.
A little off-topic but I also would like to congratulate you for becoming a Sr. Member. Just don't forget who gave you your 250th Merit  Tongue I wonder what would be the look of that kid in your avatar when you reached Hero or even Legendary.
