361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NTRN] Neutron - New Nucleus wallets released! - Next developments soon! on: June 11, 2015, 01:16:33 PM
wallet is from 28.05.2015

ip is 31.217.*

Collateral adress 9WeJ7gKRM5kaueFHg12y7z6uivVbLvLFsb   there is 25.000

rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=REpp
rpcpassword=pp
server=1
listen=1
port=9999
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=31.217.2.217:9999
masternodeprivkey=67475676576586797865756879759769679679769

i have locked wallet

when i try run nucleus start it turns out ERROR - could not allocate vin for collateral location?!?!

and it do not start Sad

its the same problem you had before which is you allowed staking of your collateral/MN address.  Now that it staked you now cannot use that address in its current state for masternode.  you need to resend 25000 exactly to a new address to keep it in one input so its recognized as collateral/VIN.  It wont work if your 25000 is in the address but broken up across multiple inputs.

while you wait for confirms encrypt your wallet if you haven't already. also click settings>options and enter 25000 NTRN in reserved amount.  and disable staking in conf OR run neutron-qt.exe with -staking=0 so this does not happen again to your collateral/MN address.

Its not currently possible to both stake and run a masternode in the same wallet you will keep losing your collateral and have to resweep the 25000 to another MN address again to try again.

This is on windows.. all maded like it's on instructions... Sad

you are staking only, disable staking and/or keep wallet locked. Don't unlock your wallet for staking if you want to use as masternode.

Create a new Nucleus node and use coin control to send 25000 exact to the new address. (can also set change address to keep it tidy).  after 15 confirmations you can try again, enter masternode start (yourpass).

thanks for info dude!  that was no mentioned in instructions!

i will try and i'll let u know the result!

i didn't see instructions but its mostly the same for all coins with masternodes.  One pleasant surprise I found with Neutron is that it is really lightweight on resources and can be left running in the background.  it stays responsive and does not hog CPU or waste RAM for no reason.  It also has a litemode swtich (-litemode=1) if do not need the masternode or anon features.  This is definitely one of the better coins i've tried that has masternodes and PoS.

http://8btc.com/thread-19411-1-1.html

An article introducing mangocoinz on the most famous Chinese bitcoin forum.
It seams that both banx.io and usecryptos are working without to many problems. Maybe we should put a an area in the OP(page one) for exchanges. I didnt see banx.io on it.

I never understood the rage for getting this to the exchanges... so instead of trading at 20k it will, maybe, trade at double that? Triple maybe? And then WHAT? you will sell your few coins that you will never be able to buy back cheaper? So you make a minimal amount and are effectively out of the project that, if you hold instead and slowly accumulate cheap coins can change your life? Not very  smart, is it?

This is still in beta and still very very far from even pointing up to its mature potential! If you so much want to get out set a price and believe me it will be reached in either banx.io or usercryptos. We dont need now to create a feeding frenzy that will rise the price 2 or 3 times... we need to keep distributing it, supporting it and growing it to get to 1000 times its current price. And way beyond. P A T I E N C E!!!

I completely agree and also would like to point the benefits of MCZ being on exchanges that make some efforts to show how much coins they hold.  its something that many do not appreciate enough and is not found and is likely to ever be seen on any of these larger exchanges. The absence of it allows them the ability operate as fractional reserve and "create" coins or take advantage of glitches in altcoins (LGD, XPY, CENT) to dump on their markets when it suits them.
There are reasons to be suspicious about exchanges such as cr*ptsy, bittr*x, c*ex when their histories show a pattern of starting wallet maintenance or altcoin delistings of both functional and unmoveable altcoins after a period of high volume and price followed huge dumps.

Banx.io I've found to be a good base for my mangocoinz and the liquidity page provides assurance that the coins i buy there are REAL. Smiley
I have not used UseCrypto lately but i recall they also provided a page with proof of their reserves/liquidity in the past.

Its completely unnecessary for MCZ to be on and to keep feeding these pumpdump exchanges that sooner or lately will steal your coins either by scam(CC*x) or by regulation/compliance (Crypt*y, Bittr*x, Poloni*x).

Hey guys look.   Barter, the only upstanding stock on C-T is at Havelock.   Pietilagroup was the only honest one there and looks like he is doing well.  I will be investing for sure.  Pretty cool new projects as well.
 https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=BTR

Roll Eyes Pietilagroup honest!?  Nothing upstanding with them at all since the closure of CT.  Lies and unfulfilled promised.  I followed all their instructions but never received any dividends, emails or migration of my shares from CT.  Completely ignored. Now their platform coinsortium is shutting down and they shifting to havelock home to some of the biggest scam stock ever  Angry

Isn't Coinsortium is owned by pietilagroup? and now they are shutting down in a few days - never received an email about this either, guess they learnt this dirty trick from cryptotrade  Angry

If pietilagroup is honest as you say then when can i expect my shares and any dividends owing on them ?  Will BARTER shares be migrated to havelock?

No they have behaved just as badly as Creative, Bitsy, AmHash and Crypto-trade

Update: got a reply and they have said they will credit some of the shares onto havelock with some compensation for divs i missed out on.  Apparently there was an issue with records they got from CT and this the reason why i did not receive my shares on coinsortium. so guess i will wait and see what happens. :\
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: June 02, 2015, 03:40:40 AM
Stellar still alive?  ripple suffered a huge drop recently but its still regularly in the news good or bad, where has stellar been throughout this?   Its mentioned above cryptsy might add it but if that ever happens by that the original STR could be trading 1:1 with Stellar as the price gets driven down from lack of interest.  Undecided

Just another way for them to legally scam and steal from their users,  even if you verified they reserve the right to downgrade you and keep your coins Wink

By agreeing to our Terms, you acknowledge and understand that Poloniex maintains verification levels which require user participation and verification in order to obtain, with leveled permissions based on user-supplied information, our ability to verify it, and our internal policies. You accept that you may not be able to achieve a desired level of verification, and Poloniex reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, the appropriate Verification Level for any user, as well as the right to downgrade users without prior notice. This may affect your ability to withdraw funds in your account and you indemnify Poloniex against any losses associated with an inability to deposit and/or withdraw funds based on your verification level.

and margin trading and lending on a site that provides no proof of its funds = potential for fractional reserve and abuse by exchange against its user in markets as it effectively is able to lend more bitcoin then they own in attempt to cash in on interest repayments.  Anyone thinking they can make money lending here is going to find themselves competing with the exchange itself which can offer infinite bitcoins at any rate they choose.  Because they dont have to prove the bitcoins exist, poloniex can mix in their own loan offers with the real ones from users and effectively make money with no risk at all. Hey everybody!

Good news! We have started working on the Android app full time now. The plan is to make it look like the iPhone app, minus the one click sell system. That might come later. The app will also come in chinese, for our new friends over there. The iPhone will have our full attention after we are done with the Android.
We cannot yet give you guys an ETA on the Android app, because we are now giving it extra layers of security and stability. It's not just a re-skin.
We can arrange for MCZ to be listed into voting list of C-Cex, and if we gather enough votes and pay for a little extra, we can get listed there for trading.

Any requests, information, suggestions.. You know the drill. Don't hesitate to contact us! Cheesy

Edit : The web wallet is almost ready Smiley

Best regards, Svonione from MangoCoinz.

Sounds great, I would like to suggest  that there is testing period with users and which uses a separate testchain before it can be used to mine on main.  As incentive testers could maybe receive 25 MCZ at end of testing, and a bonus or prize for the best tester/most valued tester.  This will help ensure the android version receives a "good workout" Cheesy and is safe and secure by wider number of users before its release.

MCZ has been having some great volume and price lately on banx.io and its really looking up Smiley

372  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: May 14, 2015, 10:47:48 PM
Just another case of a romanian scammer making its country proud.
Don't make deals over the internet with people from poor countries where minimum wage is less than 150 euros a month.Chances are you're gonna get screwed.

Try USA there has been an obvious partnership from the beginning between black arrow and matt carson / bobsag / minersource / oregonmines to conspire and steal from over half their customers.  Matt Carson made has made alot of overseas trips to see his partners when the orders were flowing in.  We were shown photos and given the impression that things were coming along and we would receive a well designed bitcoin mining product.

They both have continuously deceived perhaps the majority of us that used bitcoin to purchase with false announcements, fake product updates, fake compensation offerings and now they are still attempting to escape with claims they scammed each other.  Its obvious they are still working together on this to have more excuses to avoid refunding or compensating the customers they have stolen from, while they move onto new scams.

hi, i signed up on the iphone app but I got nothing
regards

Hey dotnet70,

Did you get an invitation?

Best regards, Srele from MangoCoinz.

dev,pls don't rush the things,we are not a bit tired and patient enough.

donot open the sign up until everything is done.

now,just want to buy some mango on banx.io...

c-cex.com or bittrex is a good choice for mcz. and few chinese use cryptsy...

banx.io is a good site for chinese and other non-english speakers as they can select their own language preference to use the site in.
There is also a separate tab for international chat.

ByronP the developer and admin of the exchange is open to adding new languages, and has setup a dedicated site for users to help with translation or corrections at translate.banx.io

c-cex and bittrex both come across as pump and dump scamcoin exchange and both have a bad history with threatening smaller altcoins and their communities with delisting.  Angry  Better to target and make use of existing exchanges that support the coin and do not try to extort btc from mangocoinz community with weekly "protection" money.

Cryptsy can be hard to get listed but once added, a coin stays there, so it would be ideal exchange after the current banx.io and usecryptos.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Bullion (CBX) | Est 2013 | Less than 1 million Bullions | PoW/PoS Hybrid on: May 14, 2015, 03:39:09 PM
FYI - CBX wallet resync complete over at Cryptsy.

CBX fallen back into maintenance again on Cryptsy, withdraw disabled Sad

I'm only making an assumption here but I believe reason its happened might be because of the dust inputs from a long period of staking and splits, that result in tx being to large and causing the wallet to fail when a large CBX withdrawal attempts to utilize too many of the dust inputs meet the requested amount.
375  Economy / Economics / Re: Just found a person selling about 44,000 Bitcoins in localbitcoins on: May 13, 2015, 02:41:35 AM
That can be true, but I'm wondering why a person would sell 13.5 Million USD worth Bitcoins as per his trade when he can wait for few more months or years and have the price go up and make ton of profit like say double or triple, make 50 million USD or something.

uhh simply because he don't have them. He had just acc on some exchange, some BTC on stock and in case of needs, he will transfer fiat to exchange and sell it again.

you know what? at 310$ I can sell you unlimited amount of bitcoins..Smiley)

Aren't those bitcoins about 44,000 be held in escrow in localbitcoins when someone starts the trade, is he having that many bitcoins in his account right now, and why would someone leave it in an exchange instead of keeping in cold storage if it were really there in his LBC account.

You're right, to open an ad they must be in his wallet at LBC otherwise the ad will not be visible to the buyers and he really must be having big trust in them to keep so many bitcoins in there. Also, LBC must be the only exchange which allows trading BTC for cash without filling up any KYC form because all I see on his profile page is that he has only verified his Phone & Email.

no he can show any amount without having the actual bitcoins as its a local cash trade / meetup  Only online trades use escrow

Minimum balance limitations
 You need to have at least the advertisement minimum sell limit and 0.4 BTC available in your LocalBitcoins.com wallet.

Your advertisement is not visible and available for the users if you do not have enough balance to fund the advertisement. Because bitcoins are reserved to the escrow protection when someone replies to your online sale trade advertisement, these bitcoins must be available online. This is a feature of online sale advertisements and does not concern online purchase advertisements or local cash trades.

blocknet may have overreached making this claim, highly unlikely ethereum would associate itself with blocknet scam if they have looked into its history.  hopefully they notice and disassociate themselves from it before any damage is done to the Ethereum brand.

Yeah, why dont you go tell'em?.. iam sure they are a bunch of retards who dont do their research themselves..

looks like yet another marketing attempt from blocknet to ride ethereum name, it would be more believable if their was something official from the ethereum side like here https://blog.ethereum.org/
as it is its just more attempts to pump blocknet coin with misleading articles.  :\

anyway article was updated form earlier, its an Etherium devgrant that the blocknet devs applied for and is funding(aka free money) for any project that applies to etherium and manages to pass itself off as something for public benefit and provide some value to etherium core.  Doesnt say they won it yet so even if they do what do they need the extra money for? Already suckered a huge amount of BTC from their ICO, why would it be necessary to apply for more funding?

379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Bullion (CBX) | Est 2013 | Less than 1 million Bullions | PoW/PoS Hybrid on: May 10, 2015, 04:17:57 PM
Great conversation occurring here!
Regarding blockchain bloat... CBX having been around for almost 2 years now combined with a one-minute target block time have made the CBX blockchain grow quickly. I think we do need to seriously consider slowing target block time to the 5-10 minute range while multiplying the PoW reward by the same factor to maintain equilibrium. CBX has been traditionally designed and targeted as more of a storage of wealth than a currency and if this direction is maintained, a further slowing of block generation time I feel is acceptable.

This is more in line with how i feel about it that we should have longer block times as its unnecessary for a store of wealth to be superfast transactions, and the 5-10 minute range sounds more sane Smiley

On that note, it seems the question of direction needs to be discussed. Do we want CBX to fight with the multitude of coins in the battle to be the every day spending medium or do we want CBX to continue to establish itself as the premier crypto-commodity (storage of wealth) / digital precious metal?

Store of wealth and rarity has always been the appeal of CBX to me.  but at current exchange rate on cryptsy is difficult for this image to be maintained, i've been buying up more the past few months and am really annoyed with the wallet situation on cryptsy that is preventing me from withdrawing to my wallet. I hav mentioned it more then a few times but Cryptsy really does not seem to place a priority on keeping their wallet systems up and working and as the general attitude of crypto users is such that the majority do not care about the actual wallet as long as they can keeping flipping their coins on cryptsy/exchanges.  The maintenance is also ridiculously low price on CGB and other coins in similar situation that have working wallets/blockchain but are stuck in maintenance hell on cryptsy.  It causes a loss of interest and prevents others from seeing as it a something more then just another altcoin :\

CBX is in a small club of altcoins that can after 2 years still has a REAL team and people behind it which is a rare thing, and gives me more confidence in holding CBX long term. Smiley
